No I bond refund sent yet.But nice to stay there
Great location with everything you need. I really appreciated that they had complimentary coffee and basic staples ie. Cooking oil and salt and pepper so you didn’t have to go buy. The washer and dryer was also really nice to have although on one load we could not get the machine to stop washing. Better instructions needed for all the appliances but all in all a great place to stay!
A little noisy in morning with cars driving but not terrible. Some minor repairs needed flooring upstairs is very loose.
This place hands down is a dream as far as location is concerned. The tube is about a 5 min walk as is lots of restaurants and little markets/shops. You can hop on the tube and at any of the major London sites within 10-20 mins max. You can even catch the tube to heathrow if you don’t mind dragging your luggage, the tube is dirt cheap to the airport. We decided to book a taxi through the concierge service bcuz we had heavy luggage. Taxi driver was very pleasant. Little side note, we even discovered Freddie Mercury of Queen’s former home is a two min down the road. We stopped and paid our respects to the legend, it was a highlight of our stay.
Checking in was very inconvenient especially on a rainy day. I didn’t know until a couple of days prior to checking in that you have to go to another location to pick up keys and sign paperwork. We were in a group of two Ubers so they went straight to the flat and the cleaners let them in while I dealt with check-in. My Uber driver was waiting in the car. The flat wasn’t ready at check-in time which was surprising since we arrived shortly after 3 pm, no beds had been made and the cleaner was waiting for bedding. We requested two twins and the bed was still set up as a queen. The cleaner split the bed into two twins upon request but she was never informed of our booking instructions. We booked the flat based on the photos which gave the appearance of a luxurious feel but the photos didn’t look anything like the actual flat. The blue velvet sofa is very pretty but not a good bed. My son sank when he sat at the end before climbing into bed. There is no handrail on one side of stairs so it is a bit of safety hazard especially for children. The floor boards need repair and are coming up in many places and I cut my toe stubbing it. Hot water ran out pretty quickly with 6 people which leads me to the other negative, the flat just wasn’t comfortable for a family of 6. The blinds didn’t work either in the living room. The cleaner had a delivery try to fix it but he couldn’t. The bathroom also collects condensation in the sunlight window above and drips dirty water. We had to keep the fan on which didn’t really work well. We would wake up in the morning with water all over the floor and if you were in there brushing your teeth or using the toilet you would get wet. The worst part was the heating. The thermostat was locked and despite reaching out to the concierge service several times we never were able to get heat. It was cold and rainy outside and freezing in the flat. None of us slept well and woke freezing our buns off....
The flat was matches the description online and the host was very nice and friendly.
Had to check in at a separate office and then walk 6/8 blocks more to the property. The receptionist was pleasant but definitely not experienced so check in took a long time. She forgot to give us WiFi info and when I called to get it she kept me on the phone for 10 minutes, did not give me the information, said she would call back but never did.
Bathroom is tiny for a group
