Pros: Incredible location, we had baby sharks, mantas swimming in the waters right by the villa. Wonderful service, really courteous staff!
Cons: Despite the fact that it was a luxury resort and the buffet was extensive, none of the food was particularly delicious, put a damper on the whole experience.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Service, food, very quiet and relaxed place..
Cons: Nothing, maybe only A/C a little noisy.
9.0 Excellent

Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The resort and setting are beautiful. Snorkeling was fantastic! But what made our vacation stand out was the staff. They went out of their way to make our 20th Anniversary extremely special and our stay memorable. Always friendly and helpful. We were going to miss our flight out of Male because the seaplane was late and the manager made some arrangements so that we would be rushed off the seaplane, driven separately (at high speed) to the airport and rushed through security so that we could make the flight. We JUST made it. It felt like we were on Amazing Race haha!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff are friendly and has initiates to help us. Food is incredible from different restaurants especially the seafood buffet on Tuesday. Staying in Water Villa and we enjoyed a lot especially the outdoor jacuzzi facing the ocean. Some people may think it’s pricy but the quality of food and drink Lily Beach are all excellent, the room is so comfy and nicely decorated. It’s really worth it!
Cons: Nil
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We went to Lily Beach on our honeymoon. Amazing sunsets, friendly service by the staff, and a mind-boggling selection of food and drink from around the world at the Lily Maa restaurant. We stayed in an over-water bungalow and it was amazing. There isn't a single thing I would change about this place - it's perfect.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very nice island, all inclusive option is on very high level
Cons: They made a mistake with domestic flight booking for us ( booked four tickets under the same name and company decided that it was only one person) and due to that we had to spend extra hours in Male with two extremely tired kids... no one apologized
10.0 Excellent
Pros: it is definitely an unforgettable experience to stay at Lily Beach Resort with my family. All the staff i met are amazing, friendly, and considerable, who responded to the unexpected changes of our visit upon a short notice and took quite good care of us. You will not regret choosing here if it is your first time going to Maldives!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The perfect island for a family holiday. We also enjoyed the adults only pool at AQUA for some peace and quiet. The buffet food was of the best quality and meals at AQUA and Tamarind were 5-star meals. The staff were all very elegant and professional. The highlight of our stay was the snorkelling tour to find whale sharks.
Cons: The only criticism would be that we didn't appreciate staff smoking on the snorkelling tour boat and the snorkelling safari's reef was bleak and dead - the house reef has an abundance of sea life, and it was believed the safari would take us to a better or similar experience.
9.6 Excellent
Cons: Lily beach is definitely an amazing place to spend time with your family. Sappirine-like sea water, wonderful food and thoughtful staff. I just hope to stay longer.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff, cleanliness and landscape.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lily has a house reef which is wonderful for diving and snorkeling - the marine life is amazing! We stayed at a lagoon villa and absolutely recommend it. The resort is beautifully organised, staff is friendly and professional, food and drinks are fabulous. A perfect experience.

Vakarufalhi Maldives - Vakarufalhi - Bedroom
3
9.4 Excellent (651 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Vakarufalhi Maldives in Vakaru, you'll be by the ocean and minutes from Vakarufalhi Island Beach, and close to Maafushivaru Island Jetty. Featured amenities include a computer station, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff. A roundtrip airport shuttle is available for a surcharge.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: The bed and pillows could be better
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We had the all-inclusive package and it was great. There are some restrictions - as per usual, but overall the experience was wonderful. The buffet was great - lunch and dinner are the best in my opinion. We're not typically buffet people, but it changed daily and the quality of the food was good. Drinks in the all-inclusive package were good too. Service from staff is impeccable. Just be aware that tipping is customary, so budget that into your stay. You can get cash out at the reception on the island.
Cons: The only downside to our stay was the seaplane transfer. On the way there, we had to wait for nearly 2 hours to catch our seaplane (understandable but not ideal). But the seaplane company moved our flight to be earlier without telling us or anyone, and we almost missed the flight to the resort. On the way back, we requested a certain timeframe for the seaplane, but was told only the seaplane company sets the time. We thought the seaplane time would be quite late for our international flight, but we were told there's nothing we could do. When we checked out, we were told the seaplane has been delayed by another hour. We waited for a long time for it, and had to check for other international flights, as it looked like we'd miss ours. The seaplane staff really don't care - and based on the reviews online, they've caused a lot of people to miss their flights. Thankfully we just got there in time, but only checked in when our flight was boarding. Overall, very stressful end to the trip - however it had been wonderful up until that point.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The room, the staff, the views and the food.
Cons: Commute from male was long and expensive
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The water villas were amazing, and the food was fantastic. Large choice. The beech was very clean. The reef is excellent and access to the reef is easy.
Cons: Nothing.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything else was absolutely great. The staff is amazing, the island is very clean, wifi in watervillas worked great, food tastes great, roomboy was absolutely careful and cleaned spotless
Cons: The mattress of the bed was a little bit to hard for us, but this is just our opinion and may not be everyones. The food was amazing but i wished that it had signs if certain foods contain meat or fish
9.2 Excellent
Pros: the staff are super friendly the food was amazing water villa exceeded our expectations the bar was really great and the prices their is acceptable Snorkeling in-front of the water was really great
Cons: beds have to be changed for sure, its not that comfortable. plus i had a skin allergy because of multiple bites of bed bugs - take anti-histamines with you- and i have seen that when the house keeping service prepare our room they don't change the bed sheets, soo that might be the problem
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great communication by email. Friendly, caring staff. Perfect location and great facilities. Food is amazing with a lot of choices. It’s very easy to see many kind of marine life on this island :) The free wifi was great and always have extremely fast speed ! We were very enjoy our stay.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The attentive and super friendly staff. In particular the pro divers staff (davide!!) Were incredible. The water villas truly are amazing.
Cons: Inflated prices are tough to swallow if you don't have a meal plan. Transportation prices are severely over inflated. Arrange you own transfer if you can it will save you hundreds of dollars
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff are the big plus with the resort wherever you meet them. Friendly, very courteous and professional. We booked a water villa – highly recommended for the view and that you are literally 2 steps from snorkelling in the crystal clear waters of the lagoon, surrounded by a myriad rainbow of inquisitive fish. The ultimate re–charge location!
Cons: Nothing. Zero. Zilch.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: everything, it was amazing.
Cons: nothing at all.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Every thing more than perfect food , restaurant, sports, staff ect
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful place, stylish design, friendly staff, plenty of activities, bars and restaurants
9.0 Excellent
Pros: - Great coordination of the transport from and to the island. Water Taxi is definitely an experience - Very nice, helpful and friendly staff - Beautiful beaches & photo locations - Water Villa is a wonderful experience to stay at. You can go snorkeling right out the door, we saw many fishes, a seasnake, stingrays and white tip reef sharks - Golf Cart transports helps to get around the island with ease - Clean rooms - Exceptional international breakfast buffet
Cons: - You will have to prebook dinners. If you don't prebook, you won't be able to have dinner unless you pay $110/person for a pretty simple asian buffet (not worth it) - Food on the island is in general very expensive and the meal sizes are tiny. You need to order 2-3 main courses to feel full (We are usually not big eaters). It might be worth it to go with all inclusive after all. - Diving was also very pricey and they give you only a small tank of air, so you end up diving only 25-35mins instead of 50-60mins per dive - My luggage weight 22kgs/hubbys 21kgs on other airports but suddenly showed 26kgs/25kgs when they weight it for the water plane. Seemed weird to me. I expected to pay some but not so much additionally
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was perfect! I didn’t want to leave! The staffs were sooo nice! The food was amazing esp Allegeria! They clean twice a day and are so efficient! I will defiantly be coming back

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Overall is a very nice hotel where you can enjoy your time in the Maldives and relax.
Cons: The food options are a bit limited and not as good as we hope so due to the price of the stay
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This holiday is perfect in every way! The transfer to and from Male and resort is seamless and hassle free. The daily spa credit made us feel very pampered by the friendly and experience team of masseurs. The snorkeling trips included are also very rewarding! Thank you Dhilley and team for showing us your passion! Nitu from reception has been so kind and helpful ensuring all our reservations were booked! Also Hafiz from Reef restaurant and Roshnan from Aqua Bar! All in all, we are glad to have chosen Centara resort!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The service starts straight from the airport, with energetic airport staff handling our sea plane transfer as soon as we arrived at Male. The staff at both bars were absolutely fantastic, very attentive and quick service. Snorkelling behind the dive centre was very good, lots of sharks, fish, crabs and octopus to see. Baby sharks, and Eagle rays continually swimming around the beach never gets old! All the staff we met were great and very friendly, everywhere you walk you get a "Hello","Good morning" etc..
Cons: Only a few minor things we felt weren't even enough to mention to the staff: You can only use one free dive per day, so had to pay for one of the two Manta Ray dives ($325USD for the two of us). Cleaning of the rooms could've been better, often felt like they hadn't tidied (bins not emptied, empty drinks not cleared away etc). Restrictive water sport rules meant kayaking/paddle boarding was only allowed in the area opposite the water sports centre. Compared to other luxury resorts we have stayed at, we felt a few things could've been improved such as a choice of soft drinks during excursions, smaller excursion groups and more attentiveness to food allergies (which we had informed the property of ahead of time).
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Clean and staff
Cons: Many activities are full booking
4.6 Okay
Cons: Having to wait over 4 hours at Male airport and making over a 7 hour airport transfer between Male airport and resort. We arrived at Male airport at noon and were told we had to wait 3 hours to check into a domestic flight to another island airport after checking in we had to wait another 2 hours for the flight. We flew 30 minutes over the resort to an island where we were transported by bus to where we had to wait for boat transfer. We finally arrived at resort about 8 pm instead of the expected 1 pm, wasting the first day and missing out on the lunch that we had prepaid for. Day of departure we had to wake up and be checked out by 6 am even though our flight from Male was at 1:45 pm. The boat took us to the other island airport at 6:30. We missed out our breakfast which we had also prepaid for. We then had to wait over 2 hours for the flight to Male arriving at 9:30 where we had to wait 3 hours to check into ouf flight 2 hours before our departure. When we asked the resort why we had over 7 hour airport transfers while other people who traveled on the same flight of ours to and from Male, they said the other people did not use Booking.com and had paid for normal airport transfer which only took them 30 minutes to travel between resort and airport. When asking resort to reimburse us for the meals that we had paid for, we were told that it was our fault for booking our stay at their resort with booking.com thus the resort was not responsible. The Jacuzzi in our villa did not work, which we reported the 2nd day with it never being repaired. We had paid all inclusive which included the minibar which was supposed to be replenished daily. There were 2 days which it was not replenished, after enough complaining they finally replenished on the 3rd day. The resort local island day trip is a waste, it is 1 hour boat ride only to be walked to the center of the island to purchase overpriced gifts, then 1 hour boat ride back to resort.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Amazing staff from the moment I reach the airport till the end, everything amazing there, alot of choice for the food even though if you need something extra they will make sure that you will get it. I highly recommend it for couples and family with kids.
Cons: Just the pool in the villa if the wall is little bit higher to get more privacy from the next villa .
9.6 Excellent
Pros: , all food was very good well prepared with good variety
Cons: They offered complimentary massages but the massages offered where limited and you could not use the massage for another person you either use it yourself or you lost it one of the reasons we booked this hotel was for the complimentary Spa
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful turquoise waters, well-maintained property, comfortable room, and excellent service from staff
Cons: Need to take a 25-minute domestic flight and then another 20-minute speedboat ride to the island. Depending on domestic flight timing, add 4-6 hours to travel to hotel from international airport.

Pros: The beds were so comfy! They gave two 1 litre bottles of water and changed the beach towels twice daily. Location is close to the beautiful beach. Staff in the restaurant were so attentive and friendly. Food was really good and well priced.
Cons: Sometimes they didn’t have a lot of things that were on the menu
9.0 Excellent
Pros: To be honest we did not expect the hotel like this on the local islands. Very cozy, clean, modern hotel. Awesome staff, awesome breakfast, awesome location. Definitely we will visit this hotel and island once again!
Cons: Nothing really to complain about.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Pleasant environment, excellent service, very good location - surrounded by palms, jut steps from the beaches. Great value for the money!
Cons: All good
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The island itself magic. Mr. Sham has helped a lot with the transfer arrangement. During 1 hour he has managed to re-book the speed boat to the plane and organize the boat transfer from the airport! The hotel has a perfect location, wide room, beach towels, amazing beds Huge thanks to the excursions guys, they really love what they do and you will love it! In case I will be back to the Maldives definitely will stay there more
Cons: Will be nice to have the hand soap (but ofc you can buy in the shop) And take smth against mosquitos with you
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is located just a few meters away from the beach and barely 2minutes walking from the bikini beach. The staff in the hotel always had a smile and they were pretty helpful. The breakfast is quite good. They were extremly helpfull when paying (they let me combine RVR, USD and credit card)
Cons: We arranged a transfer from the airport of Male to Dhigurah. Our flight arrived at 9.00 and we already knew that the earliest speedboat was at 15.00. There were supposed to be someone waiting for us at our arrival but it didnot show up. After calling the hotel they told us that he would arrive. He did, but as it was too soon, we agreed to meet back at 14.15. However he did not ever show up. We had to run at 15.04 in order not to loose the speedboat and thanks to the info coutner of the aiport who told us which speedboat to take (As the hotel did not provide us with this information eventhough we asked for it). Moreover, we tried to hire things on the island (as there are some divings center there), but once we said that we were staying at this hotel, they refuse to offer us anything and told us to book trips through our hotel.

Pros: Everything was perfect!! Highly recommended:)

Pros: The dinner is delicious, the bed is comfortable
Cons: small room with many cockroaches.
Maafushivaru - Maafushivaru - Bedroom

9.7 Excellent (44 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Among resorts in Maldives, Maafushivaru is the typical island epitomizing all that one dreams of when thinking of the Maldives.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Such an amazing resort with impeccable customer service and food. I truly hated to leave but will definitely return!!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location, staff, facility
Cons: Food. Too Asian overall, poor diversity. Quality was mediocre
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The customer service is excellent for this resort. Our dining experience was one of the highlights. Great breakfast, lunch and dinner. As far as communication, the property is top notch and helped us with all of our questions. We will definitely recommend Maafushivaru to others.
Cons: Really, this resort was top notch. I would say that extending the dining times on certain days would lead to greater schedule flexibility. We had a window of about 1.5 hours for lunch. If this could be extended to 2 hours then fine.

Located in Nalaguraidhoo, Sun Island Resort & Spa is within the region of Dhigurah Beach and Vakarufalhi Island Beach. Featured amenities include express check-in and luggage storage. A roundtrip airport shuttle is available for a surcharge.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: I stayed in a water bungalow and it was amazing, totally beautiful and peaceful I highly recommend it. The island is lovely and loads to do if you have family with you. There is shark and sting ray feeding you can watch from the walk way of the water bungalows which is great to see. The restaurants aren't very cheap, I recommend bring your own drinks , you get some free water in the room but a small bottle of coke 300ml is $4.50 USD on the local Island next door is $1 !!!
Cons: There's quite a lot of people staying on the island and they charge you $30 USD for the 10 min each way trip to the airport on the boat, you'd have thought that would be including with the prices.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic island, well laid out so it isn’t crowded, despite the size of the resort. “Private” beach outside our bungalow. Friendly staff
Cons: Arrival process is not pleasant after a long journey. We were expecting to be met at the airport and taken by boat to the resort. We had no idea that 100 other people would be doing the same! We had to load our bags into a van and get on a minibus, wait for all 100 people, drive to the port, relocate our bags, drag them to the harbour and wait for all the other people to board the boats. Then, finally at the hotel, we had to relocate our luggage and be processed into the resort along with the crowd. Not 5 tar treatment at all.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Swiming pool...
Cons: Nothing
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Internet was really good. Resort has everything you need for a good stay.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Food and staff are perfect.
Cons: Water sport. Missing organisation and information in the excursion. Old and fragile sport equipment like windsurf. They wanted to charge me for the windsurf sail broken while it was super old and fragile because of the sun and years of usage. You cannot try to charge customers for damages to old and overused equipment. It's a fraud.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: The location seems perfect if you want to dive, snorkel, try to explore or just relax under the coco trees (if you take away the cement facilities, cheap plastic sunbeds at one end, and the populous cheap all-inclusive type of massive dining experience). Feeding of the sharks is interesting and having a swim here (actually everywhere in the Maldives) makes it an adventure. The a-la-carte over the water Thai restaurant was a memorable experience...
Cons: The resort is significantly run down, walking around the island is, unfortunately, not what you would expect. The room might be spacious but everything reminded a bungalow in the 80’s. Coming out of the sea at the pier, e.g., from exactly where the hotel instructs their guest to exit, i stepped on a pin which probably came from the board, placed a couple of meters next to us (at the entrance of the thai restaurant which is situated on the pier). The personnel, having realized what happened, immediately assisted me and offered first aid ointments. We sat down, ordered food and let time pass to see if medical assistance was needed. Two hours had passed, i felt the pain increasing and asked to be escorted to the medical centrer. The person who apologized, saying it was his fault and lack of attention, seemed stressed about what had happened so I asked him if his managers called and forced him to assume responsibility personally (as if it would play any role whatsoever) and he replied no. We then visited the medical center, where a very polite doctor injected me for antitetanus protection and that’s where i realized it’s all about their profit and definitely not our joy as guests. I was told that i’ll be charged (an insignificant amount) for medical assistance, which, in turn, triggered me asking not to pay it at all. The shift manager appeared, started off with two offensive innuendos and when he realized we had pictures, videos and his stuff were eye witnesses, he then actually called the restaurant, came back and apologized (but continued with his innuendos) and to make a long story short he offered to deduct two a la carte orders from our bill for 196$, only if i signed that i would not proceed with any legal action. A funny statement from a not so funny person. We thanked him (ironically) for his non 5 star assistance and proposal, paid the full bill, checked out next morning and said bye bye with mixed feelings from this experience. WE RESERVE OUR LEGAL RIGHTS.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All the resort, the water in the villa, the garden, the lobby, the pool and the sea are the most beautiful as a movie. I was surprised that each room (water villa) has its own Wi-Fi internet, it's very good and fast. Better room by the pool or by the sea than far away. Too better with all inclusive than without. It will be cheap than without all inclusive. Everything is expensive if expensive will always be beautiful than other normal hotels.
Cons: Nothing, but price is expensive. Room is little old, but is nice and clean.

Pros: Helpful staff, great location, in the middle of the island. Very good breakfast.
Cons: Expensive meals Renting bikes need some repairs.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I was super impressed with White Sands. My wife and I were expecting the Maldives to be super expensive but decided to go a little cheaper and stay on a community island with hotels rather than resorts. it was a great decision! Not only was the price more affordable but the staff were absolutely incredible. Very polite, accommodating, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and dedicated not only to the hotel but also to the island. We found out later on that all of the staff were born on the island and were working to support it and its people and create more opportunities for others on the island who weren't as fortunate as them to study English and work in the tourism industry. They were incredible people who helped us with everything that we needed. White Sands is also in partnership with the local dive group called Oceanholic Diving. They have daily dives for whale sharks, manta rays and other ocean creatures. We tried three times to spot whale sharks but were unsuccessful probably because we were only snorkeling. After the first time, Oceanholic Diving took us out with a group of scuba divers free of charge but again, we didn't see anything. The third time we paid to go out in a private motor boat and yet again we didn't spot anything but on the drive back to the hotel the drivers spotted some dolphins and tried to get their attention. we drove for 15 to 20 minutes with dolphins jumping all around us! We might not have seen whale sharks but we did get something exciting from all the dolphins! The island is quite small with a population of 600 people or so. you can walk from the north to the south in roughly an hour although the southern half of the island is not inhabited. The northern half has a school, pharmacy, shops, a few other hotels and a few restaurants. Our room was quite nice and spotless. There is a balcony to smoke on and have a morning coffee. Bathroom was very spacious, shower was huge and had great pressure.
Cons: Some of the other guests were quite loud and I had to go and tell them to be quiet in the morning.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Good activities to do!(white shark snorkeling!). They clean the room more times during the day! Good restaurant!
Cons: All the price have tax to add
9.6 Excellent
Pros: + We have dreamed about visiting Maldives for many years, but as you know, it’s not an affordable destination. One day I was scrolling trough various hotels on booking.com when my eye caught a reasonable price and a super high rating (more than 9, which is very rare for any hotel). We started to read the reviews, and they were all fabulous, so we decided to give a guest house a try instead of saving for a more fancy resort and it was not a disappointment! + Super nice personnel, everyone is super kind and helpful! Thank you, guys! + Helped with transfer arrangements even with the flight delays we had + Hotel is basic, but very clean (again, it’s not a resort, so have the right expectations!) + Beach is just fantastic! + Prices for food items are reasonable, our bill for dinner was around 60$ per 2 people + Food selection is quite limited, so if you have any diet restrictions, check with the hotel in advance. Otherwise, everything was delicious and we did not have any food issues! + Plus for using only reusable straws + Beach dinner and Christmas lights!!!
Cons: - Take a lot of mosquito spray and an after-bite cream or something to relieve the bites pain. - Unfortunately, there were not enough beach chairs (maybe a total of 15 for all the island guests), so if you plan to spend some time on the beach, you better get up around 7am or earlier to go and reserve. - Just in general, the Maldives is not your typical resort destination. It’s not like you get to the airport, jump on the shuttle and, 2 hours later, you’re sipping cocktails in the lobby. After your international flights, you will need to take a flight to the island and a speed boat, which adds extra hours before you reach the place, so my advice is to book extra days for recovery here comparing to your regular beach vacations.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely amazing staff and beautiful little resort in a fantastic location. Incredible island , the most beautiful among the five we visited before.
Cons: Excellent location. Comfortable and clean. Three stars little resort with 5 stars treatment. Clean with nice breakfast. Just loved it. Highly recommended. Don’t look further. Best experience ever
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This guest house is an amazing place to stay. The rooms are spacious and have all the necessary things including tea and coffee. The balcony is quite spacious and a nice place to relax in the evening. The room is cleaned at least twice a day, all the guys are discrete and helpful. The hotel has a lovely terrace on the top floor where you can dine in the evening. The food is quite simple (I think as anywhere else on local islands) but delicious. The bikini beach is 3 minutes from the hotel and is so beautiful. We enjoyed a lot our stay. Special thanks goes to all the staff who took care of us. The staff organized very nice new year eve dinner on the beach, we loved it! I recommend this guest house to everyone, if we are coming back to Maldives we would love to stay there again. P.s great choice of music

Pros: The stay in Dhigurah was absolutely great. The place, the atmosphere, the staff and also the location. Even though it's not a waterfront property, it's the "southest" hotel in the island so that means there is only nature and beach when you walk south. Also, it's literally a 1 minute (max.) walk to get to the beach. The rooms are big and clean (they clean it more than once a day), breakfast is good as well and the staff is top. They have their own dive center so it's really easy to arrange all the activities, as well as anything you need during the stay such as kayak rental, bicycles, flights, speedboat...Thank you for everything and I'll be back!
Cons: To be honest...0 complains!

Overview Reviews
This Dhigurah property is located by the sea and situated on the beach within walking distance of Dhigurah Beach.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It is a lovely three story building near the village of Digurah. The rooms were lovely, spacious and airy. We had a balcony and watched the fruit bats flying above us. We slept like babies next to whale shark wall paper. The dining room was tasteful and sunny. Food was superb, support staff so friendly and always available.
Cons: The stairwell leading up to the evening dinner area was dark and I struggled to see the steps. Lighting should be better.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Awesome large bed, big outdoor shower/bathroom, great staff and food.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Its a place where you can check in and forget about everything else, the level of hospitality is impeccable! And of course the marine life around Dhigurah! In just two days I got to see a whale shark and 3 mantas along with turtles, sharks, etc.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were wonderful and the diving was superb.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place, the staff, the excursions, the spacious and well-equipped rooms and the food. I particularly liked the great attention to the needs of each individual guest. Since the first moment we felt very welcomed and during the excursions we learnt a lot about the reef and Maldives in general. I also enjoyed chatting with the owner in many occasions, who is a friendly and clever woman.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Boutique Beach is a haven for divers. Romney and her team are truly remarkable hosts with a keen eye for details and nothing else then their customers satisfaction (and in regards of the diving safety and wellbeing) in mind. The Hotel has a uniquely warm and welcoming atmosphere - an even though its only six rooms - there is nothing you will miss if you stay here. Food was always great - everyday was different and delicious (don't expect a million of different dishes on the menue since this is only a six room hotel). The rooms are perfectly maintained spacious, comfy and well thought through (big shout out for the super comfy beds!) and the open air bathrooms are amazing. Besides that the diving package was just awesome (and great value). Digurah and the surrounding Marine Park is a remarkable place and will leave you speechless by its sheer beaty of its nature and biodiversity. Also the Boutique Beach and also the Dive Base staff was always super helpful, friendly and made our stay overall a truly remarkle experience.

Pros: This is the place!! Many thanks to all the staff at BB Dive for a wonderful vacation with many adventures. Great food, Buddhika, lovely personal service, Saeed and all the staff! Mette and the dive crew; you showed us a new world....so Romney....we will be back!
Cons: ?
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The food, the cleanliness, the homely feeling, beautiful beach right outside, the very well organized diving excursions and the safety thinking. Just perfect from start to end including the help with transfers to and from airport. The best hotel I have visited for a very long time.

Pros: it was the best and the most exotic experience of my life! all the staff were excellent, Ms Sunita in the coffee/restaurant area made us feel as if the island was our home
Cons: nothing
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a wonderful time on Holiday Island. Everything, including the transfer from Male, was very well organised and the staff were great! They really went out of their way to make our stay pleasant, even cooking us a special curry on our last evening! The food was amazing (also plenty of vegetarian options!), the sea turquoise and warm, the beach fine white sand and clean, just like the pictures suggest. We liked that there was a free boat service several times a day to the sister resort Sun Island, where there is great snorkelling, a pool, and a much more lively resort atmosphere (but we preferred Holiday Island to stay on as it is smaller, quieter, and more personal). I can also recommend the dive center - the instructors are friendly and competent, and it was very easy to sign up for diving trips also at short notice. I saw rays, turtles, many many fish and several sharks!
Cons: Depending on the exact wind strength and direction, the buzzing sound of the diesel generator can be heard all over the island. This annoyed us when we first arrived, but by the end of the stay the wind had turned and we had been moved to a hut on the far side of the island, so it was no longer an issue. The huts on the airport side of the island don't have the best view.

Pros: I liked everything See you soon
Cons: -
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The Oceanus Dive Centre was brilliant - Katie went out of her way to welcome us on arrival and get me prepared for diving next day. Brilliant experiences with Manta Rays and Sharks - big thanks to Ayyoob my guide. Holiday Island resort had a big selection of very good food (veg and not, some curries but plenty more, really good salads). Weather and beach were perfect. Very comfortable room, well designed to give private space beach-side, with fine sand leading down to beautiful turquoise sea. Very clean with nice touches.
Cons: Only minor irritation is that drink sales are obviously a big factor for the resort. Sometimes a bit pushy on promotions. Also staff with inconsistent approaches to ‘4 for 3’ discounts (some thinking it had to be ordered in advance, others happily applying it on bill signature) - better if just automatic. However, that was dwarfed by the overall positives.
7.0 Good
Pros: The location, quality of food and the attitude of the staff were on point.
Cons: We were bitten by bed bugs on our first night at the resort. This was fixed the next day but on principle, this is not something that should happen at a resort.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very quite island perfect for relaxing.
Cons: The bungalow were a bit dated.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was excellent. Staff was amazing and so friendly, very accomodating, always available, cooperative and yet knowledgeable too. They know their duties well.
Cons: Could increase lights a bit more in the passages at evening and night hours. Moreover, beaches should have more lights too.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The resort overall is really good. Staff is really helpful and assertive to all the needs. Cleaning was done twice daily. Location is great and the rooms were just besides the beach. Would advice to take the half board or full board as the buffet has good tasty food with enough variety.
Cons: Domestic transfer from Male airport to the Hotel is too expensive ($280 pp) Air conditioning should be improved. The room interiors are old but have been informed that the hotel will be redoing the interiors this year so that should be resolved.

Cons: Limited possibility of lunch for people who don´t like fishes.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Bliss hotel is a wonderful guesthouse in Dhigurah island. It has an amazing design and it is super clean, only few steps from the bikini beach. We spent ten days there and staff become like a family. They are the real added value, making our stay a wonderful experience during whale shark trip and the entire holiday. A special thanks to Bhupi, for his smiles, emphaty, taking care of all our needs and to Vajid for his patience with kids and professional service. Hermits restaurant is exceptional.
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: A wonderful place to relax! The staff were all very friendly and helpful, facilities were good, close to the beach and good food at the restaurant! A home away fro home!
Cons: A suggestion would be to supply guests with reusable water bottles, and a sign on the door to indicate when you would like your room to be serviced
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The food in the restaurant exceeded our expectations, the organised activities and diving were fantastic
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place and ALL the staff were amazing either the Hotel that the Restaurant )down there. ( the food WOW !! ) It is a place highly recommended . If i would come back again i would like to stay some days over there again.
Cons: i would have stayed more days
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Bliss is less than 30 seconds from one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lives up to its name. A boutique design hotel, very relaxed fun atmosphere, at the end of town close to the bikini beach. Great roof terrace and spacious reception to chill out in. Excellent restaurant. Breakfast was a treat, something different each day, including Maldivian breakfasts, and they would always offer to do something else if you wanted it. Excellent Lavazza coffee. The hotel has its own Dhoni boat for doing the excursions - we went nearly every morning and then spent the afternoon on the beach. We had some amazing snorkelling with a whale shark, and on other trips with manta rays. One of the greatest wildlife experiences in the world. The staff were always smiley, helpful and gave good advice. The hotel organised the flight and boat transfers from Male Airport - definitely better than trying to do it yourself. Dhigurah Island has a beautiful long beach that terminates in a long sand spit in turquoise sea. The bikini beach faces west so it was the place to be for sunsets. Not much in town, some small supermarkets , gift shops and 3 local cafe / restaurants.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Nice location and friendly staff with good help with activities, good ac and new fresh rooms
Cons: Little pricy restaurant
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff was great, friendly and very helpful at all times. Good offer of activities / excursions. Interesting, tasty menu prepared by a top Indian chef. Flexibility to adapt food to our specific needs. Special merit to the tuna steak and pancakes stack but everything is good. Nice location and hotel design.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great place for a relaxing holiday. Only few rooms available, no noise at all, nice sunset bar, clean water. Service and food are great. Higly recommended.
Cons: Since it's such a small resort, they should completely avoid single-use plastic. Can be improved the organization of the daily activities, maybe asking during dinner time if anyone want to be involved on the group activities for the next day.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The nature and underwather fauna.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were very happy with Drift Thelu Veliga resort. It was our best stay up to now. We loved the privacy in this place, island is very very small, there are not so many water villas and beach villas, so you just don’t see anybody all day. And even if you see-nobody is disturbing anybody, very quite. There were mostly couples. Resort is small, but you always have what to do: you can either take the trips, they offer big choose of activities for middle prices. Or you can just stay and snorkel on the house reef. We loved the underwater life on the house reef. Some life corals, sharks, stingrays, we even saw a baby manta swimming next to our water villa. We loved the possibility to walk barefoot around complex, for breakfast and dinners. Food was good quality, sometimes missing tasty things if you come to late for buffet. Good choose. Service is just amazing. Cleaning staff, reception, waiters, cooks- all extremely friendly! We would love to come back one day!
Cons: Food missing if you don’t come at the beginning of buffet. Some things don’t fill up anymore. (Tasty deserts, starters). Missing some pillows on the terrace of water villa. Would be nice to have it next time.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: The beach was lovely and staff at the restaurant were very accommodating and pleasant. There are alot of fish that can be seen directly from the water villa.
Cons: Room 21 was the worst room I have ever stayed in. The bathroom had a terrible smell that just got extremely worse, to a point that I could no longer sit in the villa or breathe. I asked the room service to clean the bathroom properly and they said this smell has always been an issue and there is something wrong with just this room and there is nothing they can do. I complained immediately to the manager(this was the morning) and he said he will give me feedback by the evening. He just expected me to sit the entire day in the villa and be content with the room. If the resort knew that this room was an issue then how can they give us this room knowing we are paying quite alot of money to stay here. We were on honeymoon and it made our stay very uncomfortable and unpleasant. I had to walk back and fourth to reception several times as they seemed to not care and the phone in the room did not work so we had to walk to reception each time we had an issue or query. Eventually I demanded a new room by sitting at reception until they gave us a new room which was late in the evening. I also asked the manager to go sit in the room if he feels that it is habitable. I endured 3 nights in a villa that was extremely dirty and unhealthy to live in. The owner of the resort was present when I was complaining and she just walked away and looked from a distance as I spoke to the manager. She did not even apologize for the inconvenience caused. I later discovered that they closed down the room afterwards for renovation as they needed to fix the entire plumbing in the bathroom and complete a full maintenance in the room which was apparently long overdue. I have also heard from staff that many people have complained in the past about this room. The new room they gave us was much newer and was more like a 4star resort and not a 2star feeling that the previous room gave me. The owner/director was not friendly.
1.0 Poor
Pros: The breakfast was nice . The location of the property wasn't a problem , but the staff doesn't give you clarity on how much time does it take for you to get there . This wasted more than half a day as the property is very far from male airport .
Cons: The staff can be more courteous and helpful . As the property is on an island away from everything , you are totally dependent on them for any of your needs. We had wrong information on our travel duration from the airport to the property, which wasted almost more than half a day . In case we were informed of this before , we could have booked our travel accordingly.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: great location, especially the beach and the clear water, staff friendly, especially Mery, breakfast very good and complex, beach villa very clean, we spent Christmas in Drift, it was magic Christmas, party on the beach
Cons: one of the employee gave us some wrong information about Christmas event

Pros: Drift is paradise. it is a small resort on a small island with outstanding staff, great accommodation and wonderful excursions. We had two beach front rooms and one villa all were lovely . From the moment we got to the island till the moment we left we were cared for by the staff. I celebrated my birthday when i was there and arrived to our table with a beautiful birthday greeting and flowers arranged on the table. On Christmas eve we had the most beautiful seafood feast arranged with lots of Christmas lights and decorations. I wanted this to be a very special Christmas for my family and it was a 12/10 in every way
Cons: nothing . it was all fabulous

Pros: The place is very near the beach. And the staff was friendly, especially helpful on our request.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff Beach
Cons: Weather was a little unkind but otherwise we were perfectly comfortable. The room did not have a fridge or TV but we were there to dive and enjoy the island not sit in our room watching the box. We could use the community fridge downstairs if required. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Shamoon organised flights to the island at the last minute because the speed boat was delayed. He gave up his seat so we could fly! If retruning to Maamagili, we would 100% stay here again.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great little hotel with a relaxed atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and knowledgable about diving. We had a great time and loved the diving. Good place to stay if you are interested in diving with Matas, whale sharks or just seeing nice reefs.

Pros: We spend half of our honeymoon at Shamar for some diving. It did not disappoint. Everything exceeded our expectation and was perfect. To sum: 1. Friendly and helpful staff 2. Experienced dive guide 3. Simple yet have-all-you-need guesthouse with comfortable bed 4. Relaxing handout/eating area 5. Non-touristy, unpretentious local island showcasing the real Maldives 6. Great value for small-group diving 7. Fast and stable wifi Bonus: beautiful friendly house cats! We cannot wait to come back and bring our family!
Cons: We wish we could spend a few more days with Shamar Guesthouse :)
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff friendly Very good curries made in-house Great diving
Cons: Sun beds and shades could be better
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly environment with great casual meeting & dining area. Great room with ocean view & an air conditioner & shower that worked. Limited number of guests which makes there diving trips relaxed & friendly. Plus every day a whale shark.
Cons: The beach furniture needs an up grade.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was friendly, and the place was extremely clean. It's a simple place--meant for diving and relaxing. We only had a night, since we were transitioning from a liveaboard to our next adventure. We were able to rest, kayak and easily make our flight the next day.
Cons: You have a two block walk and a super short ferry ride to visit a resort with alcohol. Bring your own, don't drink, or be prepared for a short excursion.

Pros: Perfect stay with perfect team Spécial thanks to Ali
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were fantastic. Kitti was really helpful and considerate, walking us to the docks and explaining things to do around the town and on other islands. Our guide and boat captain took us on an amazing whale shark snorkelling tour where we saw two in about 30 mins! Even one when it was just us!! We continued on to find some turtles and although we didn't it was still a great experience. The next day we were meant to go find some manta rays, but unfortunately the boat was damaged while we were on the water, so they organised a trip to a local island instead, with lunch and snorkelling included, to make up for it. But it was amazing anyway! We actually stayed in their sister hotel, which is a short walk from the bikini beach and also in to town. We took the half board option, which I strongly recommend and there's only three restaurants in the town and basically nowhere else to get breakfast or lunch. The food was fantastic at the hotel and served with care and the staff made every effort to make each meal a five-star dining experience. It was especially lovely sitting on the upper deck watching the sun set as we enjoyed the evenings. The hotel is really nicely decorated and set out. Our room was huge with a large bed and good sized bathroom. Plenty of space for us to dry our clothes each day after swimming. We were transferred to and from the airport and Kitti made sure we were checked in ok. When we arrived, Rafith welcomed us to the hotel and immediately explained the tours we could do and asked what we wanted. Initially it felt a bit like a hard sell, but I realise now there's no tour operators in the town, so no one else to do tours with. And there's nothing else to do other than sit at the beach. So you have to do something and our guide and captain were such great guys, I would just want to hang out with them anyway.
Cons: Could do with more cupboards/drawers/shelves in the room and bathroom.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We visited Koimala Hotel during Christmas time for almost 2 weeks. And it has been best vacation so far. What made our vacation the best was best Koimala staff, meals (we had all-inclusive package) and their great trips. I can fully recommended their snorkeling trips and whale shark trips. They are professionals and exactly know where to go or what make the trip unforgettable. There is very good chef who tailors the meals to your diet (my mum and aunt dont tolerate chilli/spicy meals) and there wasnt any problem. Thumb up! We really appreciated it. The room was simply equipped but sufficiently. Also the communication with hotel before our arrival was very good. Once again, thank you very much!!:)

9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location at the beach and the view on the ocean was amazing!!! The walk to the Bikini beach was only 5 to 10 minutes (depending how far you want to go). The staff and dive masters were really professional (the dive equipment was in very good shape as well). The rooms were well equipped with everything you need and they were cleaned-up every day very thoroughly. The free kayaks and standup paddle boards (also in very good shape) made lots of fun! The other activities we used (snorkel trips and romantic dinner at the beach) were planned and executed with love to the details (got my proposal there
Cons: The beds were a bit too hard. Two times we had cockroaches in the room, which somehow sneaked in although the doors and windows were closed. An inhouse bike hire service to reach the sandbank faster would have been nice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Dhigurah is an amazing island, with amazing beach, fantastic colours in the sea, and with a friendly local community. Athiri is placed at the beginning of the street where several guesthouses are. Everything looks as in the pictures. The palm trees area is an amazing place to chill: in front of it, the view of the ocean, with sunset included every afternoon-evening. The room was spacious and super clean. Like spotless clean. Air conditioning and WiFi available. The food was delicious and there were plenty of options to choose from for lunch and dinner. We had the breakfast buffet included already and it was the right choice. We did also several dives, and we saw everything that we wanted to see from these: whale sharks, mantas, turtles, etc. The diving staff is amazingly prepared and really friendly. It was super nice to spend the mornings doing the excursions with them! The staff at the hotel was also super great, and always available to help in any moment for anything. Overall it has been an amazing week, and we are now super happy to have visited Dhigurah and Athiri Beach! We'll be back! :)
Cons: Nothing bad to mention here, everything is above expectation and perfectly matches what is mentioned in booking.com
9.0 Excellent
Pros: One of the few hotels with direct access (& view) to the beach, although not bikini beach - but it is very close. Rooms are ok but lack cozyness. Ala carte food is very good. Also breakfast is decent. Prices are probably ok for Dhigurah, but quite steep comparing to the rest of Maldives.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The room was spacious and was cleaned every day, clean towels every day. I think the sheets were also changed 1 or 2 times. The diving / snorkelling team is AMAZING! I was so afraid of the mantas/ whale shark and they were super helpful and hold my hand in the water :) a big thanks to all of them. Excursions were great and they took us on the non-touristic part of the island which is a paradise for diving and snorkeling. Paddle board and kaiac were provided for free and they are in very good shape. Overall a very nice stay and experience!
Cons: Breakfast could be improved. We ate more or less the same in the 8 mornings we stayed there. Breakfast is continental and they bring some slices of fruits, pastry and 2 slices of bread with jam butter and honey and then ask how we want the eggs to be done and that's it. I requested tomato and cheese with the omlette and I got max 5 slices of very small tomoato (which was green) and 2 slices of processed cheese.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful island. Long, white beach. Beautiful sandbank. Helpful stuff. Nice excursions, i was lucky to see whale shark. This island is the best choice to have comfortable and not expensive rest near the points where you can see whale sharks.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect for what I had in mind. I could look at the beach from my room which looked exactly like the pictures. The staff and everyone affiliated with the property was really kind and helpful. They made me enjoy my stay to the fullest. The guides were also very patient and took very good care of me. I only wish I'd stayed longer.
7.0 Good
Pros: Loation, location, location! Location is great in front of the sea. Staff is nice and welcoming.
Cons: A little effort on the decoration and arrangements on the rooftop terrace would make the hotel real nice. Providing refillable water tanks and not plastic bottle would be a nice touch too for the environment!

Pros: Everything
4.6 Okay
Pros: To be quite honest: not that much.
Cons: Yes, it is in the Maldives, and yes, it is a remote island with the potential to be paradise... BUT: after having stayed at almost all different kinds of resorts (all true four and five stars) we were extremely disappointed with the Amaya Kuda Rah Resort, which we consider to be completely overrated and overpriced. To be fair we point out, that parts of the over water villas must recently have been refurbished at the inside. However, the shower area is terribly outdated and smelly. But also the overall service level does by far not merit five stars and we wonder how this resort could possibly have been rated to be the „best luxury boutique resort in the Maldives“ in 2019. The all inclusive package is not worth the money at all. The variety of drinks is extremely limited and the rare branded liquors (Havanna Rum / Courvoisier) on the bar menu were not available. We therefore got served cheap booze. The same goes for the minibar, where only an extremely limited choice of softdrinks and beers was available. The quality and variety of the food of the buffet was very poor for a so called five star resort, as well, and let to food poisoning and the loss of one day of our precious holidays. Some of the staff seemed to be at least trying to make a good job. But as we‘ve mentioned, only some. By far the best were in our case the room attendant Shazhan and the very friendly filipina receptionist (sorry, lost your name), who received us on the first day and bid us farewell on the last day (our advice: move to another resort where your potential matches the management’s attitude). During the whole stay we did not even see a representative of the management, whit whom we could have stared our impressions. Over all the very poor attitude of some of the staff was shocking to us: no true will to be of help, no smiles, no willingness at least to try to meet the expectations of guests and even kind of rude when being called up and asked for a favour.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Stuf was very friendly, and helpful. Especially mr. Sujan our housekeeper who was unbelievable. The island is beautiful and clean, with lots of trees and shade. Also the scuba dive school is very professional, and I recommend to everybody! (must do)
Cons: The food is not very good, and also offer at bar (food) is poor. They should have more food offer so one can enjoy and spent more money. It would be nice if they offer some simple food for children.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff The food The villa
Cons: Shower water was brown and the bathroom had a leak. I had to put all the towels on the floor so water doesn’t come to the bedroom.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked how relaxed the resort was
Cons: There wasn't much to do, which wasn't a bad thing. The main thing I didn't like was that the resort had no drinks available for lunch and dinner. When you pay for full onboard I was surprised that not even water was provided. I understanding needing to buy soft drinks and alcohol, but being charged for water was a shock for how much we paid for this resort. We started to just bring our own water that was free that was supplied in our room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This Vacation was my "Honeymoon Surprise" for my wife and words can't describe how magical our stay was. The Resort is absolutely beautiful, it blew us away and exceeded our expectations. Everything was perfect from the check-in to the checkout process. The staff were always welcoming, helpful and did their very best to meet our needs and requests. They also helped me with the surprises that I've planned and also suggested ways to improve them. (Thank you Eve
Cons: Single downside. Big black ants in the bathroom. I didn't mention it or complain during my stay, but I'm sure if I did, the friendly staff would solve this issue promptly.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The island and the water. But that is not unique to this resort. It is the same beautiful environ through out Maldives. So avoid this place. You will pay 2.5 times more than required and have twice the disappointment. Instead choose a 3 star. Few dedicated staff members try to make a difference - Chrisitn, Ishag, and Maroouf at the buffet diner, Sajan at the bar, Weeshan and Jeff at the Dive center went out of their way to help... The Dive center is well set and the diving is very professional.
Cons: The staff are overworked and frustrated. Food is sparse and taken away too quickly. Not something you expect in an all-inclusive resort that charges $900 per room night for all inclusive. So they all snap at you and take away the buffet even before the time is up. It is an island resort and you expect a relaxed time. However they have a strict regimen - breakfast at 730-930 and the pickings are all gone and not replenished after 845. they start taking away the spread by 920. Lunch is b/w 1230 and 230 and same experience. Dinner is between 730 and 930 and they dont allow you into the restaurant at 725 but start hurrying you at 915. We complained several times and then the staff took pity on us but management was indifferent and gave empty assurances. Staff revealed they work 14 hour shifts due to mgmt belt tightening. The all-inclusive is an eyewash and a disappointment. Drinks on the all-inclusive do not include the regular cocktails like a pina colada or a Mai Tai. Corona and Heinken are not included in the beers. No snacks at the bar in the all-inclusive except for nuts. More hurtful is that if you bring appetizers from the buffet table to the drinks area they would tell you to stop. And at the dinner buffet - you are racing to get the food spread before it is gone, eating within the small time frame they give you and if you order a drink they take about 45 mins to serve it. So basically you can have one drink and a lil food at the buffet or nuts and lots to drink from the bar. So you are strategizing and not relaxing!! Would put this again to probably management skimming on staff or instructing them to not allow for the all-inclusive to become a good deal for you. They expect you to order from the bar menu - appetizers are priced at $15/plate, drinks are $12-20 per drink, even though you already paid $900/night for the all-inclusive.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was great as well as the location and the people working in the hotel. We arrived and a nice surprise was waiting for us. We were invited in a wine tasting dinner along with some other guests and we really enjoyed the hospitality and the great food and wine! The nature is amazing and we really enjoyed the weather as well.
Cons: When you buy the half or the full board it might be great if the hotel allows you to use the second restaurant or the room service and not only the buffet restaurant.
7.1 Good
Pros: It’s very clean and well looked after The staff are polite and work hard
Cons: They lost our room service order They told us to be ready to move rooms at 10am and no one turned up until 11am They informed us of our 4:45am departure time just 6 hours prior Communication was poor throughout our stay. This holiday cost a huge amount of money and they paid no attention to the little details that make a big difference

Pros: We were accommodated at the Hideaway Inn, but we had all the service at Mala Boutique. The food was excellent, the beach clean, staff very nice and helpful. We had some trips and we were very happy with all - great organization and great experience. We saw what we wanted to see. Snorkeling is amazing and our guide Shaalley show us all from underwater world. I recommend this island for relaxation and snorkeling. We felt like at home :)
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location and comfortable rooms. Very nice staff, simple food but good. Excursions are the best activity you can wish for in Maldives: you can do basically everything you have dreamt of. In four days, we were able to spot: whaleshark, mantas, turtles, reef sharks, etc. We highly recommend the sandbank trip with amazing snorkeling on the reef and, for the bravest, night snorkeling. Highly recommended for traveling either with family, friends or partner. We had a super stay!
Cons: Hard to reach from the male airport: only one speedboat at 4pm and to go back at 7 am. Al other options are extremely expensive.
7.1 Good
Pros: - staff is super kind - excursions very well done - cleaning - ideal for backpackers
Cons: - beach too small with no facilities - way to the beach is not really nice - overall you do not feel living the Maldives as in your dreams
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very clean and tidy. The stuff clean it every morning. The bikini beach is like 3min walk and restaurants too. The stuff were really helpful and nice. They help you whenever you need help. Lunch and dinner is not included but it’s amazing, totally recommendable!

Cons: No kitchen facilities
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was exceptional clean. View was a garden view. Walking distance to the sea shore and good excellent place for chill.
Cons: Breakfast menu is almost the same daily.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Simple but clean and well located guest house. Food was good and there was plenty. Considering the setup of accommodations on the island we were very pleased. New Years Eve was special and they really put a lot of effort into celebrating!!!
6.3 Good
Pros: The escursions organized by the diving center are really amazing. Martino (dive master) and Shalley (snorkelling guide) are an excellent team together and thanks to them we had an amazing time with mantas, turtles, sharks, dolphins, whalesharks, and lots of other fishes. Shalley shared with me wonderful pictures he took underwater, a great memory of this incredible experience. The team in the guest house is great, always smiling and hard working; the owner Hassan is really kind and friendly, and he compensated us with a final discount for the few problems encountered during our stay. The location of the guest house in front of the sea is incredibly beautiful, and meals are normally served on the small beach in front of the guest house - a pity that this wonderful space is not enough used also before and after the meals with bar service.
Cons: Rooms and the furnitures are pretty basic, when we arrived in our room the air conditioning was not working properly (water dropping) and I had to tell the staff three times before getting it repaired. Breakfast is always same food and really nothing special (omelette, sausages, pancakes, sometimes beans, and an ordinary juice - to get the fresh ones included you have to reserve the all inclusive package!). Lucky us we paid half board - we had once lunch at the guest house and I think it was quite poor. The guest house sometimes misses the basic service (eg shampoo) and after having asked it three times to the staff I had to buy it from local supermarket.

4.0 Okay
Pros: Nice outdoor area, breakfast outside at variable time. Water supply every day. Possibility to order food by delivery service from local restaurant. We had a car drive back to the harbour. From 6 to 11 p.m. you can visit close resort for free (guesthouse manager has to inform resort prior trip)
Cons: It took us a little time to find the hotel, as the map position is on a diffferent street. We got room with no window outside at first, which made the room very depresive and dark. The water pump is right at the opposite side of the wall, and is quite disturbing especially during night. There is no soap or shower gel. We missed the most a possibility to rent a bicycle as the island is quite big and you have to walk every time you go to the beach, to the harbour or to the Holiday Island resort. Payment only at the property.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff were the nicest people and helped us all the time and even took us to a resort island for the evening for free
Cons: Everything was great
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice place, clean and Haydar was good at at helping us. They helped us with bookings, trips etc. Great food, and nice rooms with good AC if needed.

Pros: All meals come from a local restaurant and were excellent
Cons: nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and staff very helpful great low budget guest house
5.8 Okay
Cons: The noise from the water pump. It was like drilling in the wall every few minutes which made our sleeping impossible.
6.3 Good
Pros: The staff is super helpful, really amazing. Whatever you need they will find a way to make it happen, food, day trips, you name it!
Cons: The room was tiny with a small bed for 2 people and al the structure need to be updated. Nice hot water and air con!
7.5 Good
Pros: Very good price and value for money. The staff orders in breakfast and dinner for you and even sets the food on the table in the garden. And organized a free trip to Holiday island in the evening. During the day a trip to Sun Island resort very cheap aswell!! A must do when you stay here.
Cons: Management was not very visible at the location. But turned up to get the payment. They should let the guy who works there all day around empowerment to actually do that aswell. He was super help ful and the sweetest with all kinds of help and support during our stay!!!
5.8 Okay
Pros: Staff are very attentive
Cons: Maamigili is not a picturesque island. There is a lot of rubbish everywhere coming in off the sea. It is very sad to see, but also dangerous - we saw a rusted piece of tin and a plank of wood with nails sticking up wash onto the bikini beach. To be honest we regretted our time in Maamigili when there are many other much nicer islands to visit, for example - Dhigurah or Omadhoo. We took the speedboat from Malé to Maamigili. It was very simple, and took 2 hrs ($50 per person). The accommodation at Whale Shark inn was good. There are only 4 bedrooms so it is very small, all bedrooms face into a reception room. The bed is very very hard, like a piece of wood! I actually checked to make sure it was even really a mattress!

7.0 Good
Pros: The food was adequate, the showers were pretty well cold but tolerable but all in all they certainly tried to make us comfortable. And the diving was truly magnificent and the dive guides were wonderful, most certainly value for money. Some great restaurants if you were to look around. Would I go back, you bet. And a massive thanks to # BeAn Island Diver you were fantastic.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Really good hotel with a better price than the average on the island. When you are in a such nice island, why you need a fancy hotel? TME it was the perfect choice. Rooms are big, comfortable and clean, staff were really friendly all the time and making everything possible. Food it is also good, you have to try the grill fish! awesome.
Cons: It was not internet in the rooms, just in the lobby.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent place, everything clean, the staff very friendly, excellent location !!
6.3 Good
Pros: Location is good. Kitchen has various stuff to eat. Breakfast is good.
Cons: Staff have no manners. They are really bad at organizing trips. They messed up mine and tried to convince me it’s my fault. The mattress is good but the bed is two small beds attached together which is not very comfortable. The restaurant wouldn’t change rice for vegetables when asked.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location of the hotel: very close to the beach, to jungle and village. The staff is very nice and helpfull.
Cons: Dinner and lunch were overprised. On the island there are way cheaper and better tasting local restaurants.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This property was a great place for going to see whale sharks and mantas which was the purpose of my stay here. It’s THE PLACE/ISLAND to see whale sharks no matter what the season. There are lots of options on the island but this one was affordable for my small budget and still very clean and lovely. Breakfasts were solid as well. The stay was great and they got me set up with diving and whale sharks excisions upon arrival. Also the dive shop (island divers) was relentless in finding the whale sharks. I was so appreciative of that bc I came specifically to see them. After 2 days of diving and one day of snorkeling on the search, Island Divers searched until 2pm on my last day (well past usual time around noon) to find them. Give yourself at least 3 days on a boat to see them because wildlife is always shy.
Cons: My only critique is the food wasn’t very vegetarian friendly. It was very affordable but you can go to other hotels on the island if you want better food with more options. But you’ll be paying more.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and comfortable. The beach is very nice. Good value.
Cons: Staff was not really responsive to e-mails and customer demands. There were no excursions available on my days, however, I think that it would had been just the matter of positive attitude and a few phone calls to on the island someone on the island who can take me on a snorkeling spot with a speed boat.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything was really good. Clean, comfortable, next to the beach. Good breakfast.
Cons: Everything was really good. The only thing I will complain is about not having wifi at the room. Is not a big deal but a little bit uncomfortable. Although, the common areas, with wifi, were really comfortable.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: - Great location - Glass water bottles provided - Friendly staffs - Must try the burger
Cons: Weak WiFi and mosquitoes
