Everything was amazing so cozy and the people are incredible
We love the location and the ambiance of the place.
Food was subpar and was overpriced
This is the second time I've stayed at Inn on the Lake - Whitehorse. We stayed in the Metal Room which has twin beds and is at the front of the building. The upside is that you can see the Northern Lights from the room. The downside is that other visitors watching the Northern lights outside can be clearly heard up until 3am in morning and you will hear the guests as they come and go from the building for that entire time period. We had one dinner at the Inn; Rouladen (beef rolls) with Polenta for the main meal and a warm carrot cake with walnut sauce. The meal was very good; and portion size was just right. Two things that were strange with the service; there were no side plates for bread? and when serving tea with dessert, the tea was simply a mug of hot water and a tea bag. I think these two small things are a miss in presenting first class service for dinner. My first visit to Inn on the Lake two years ago was 5 star, the experience this time slipped a bit, even the coffee was not as good as the last visit These small issues won't prevent me from staying at the Inn on my next trip, it was just not as perfect this time.
You'll be next to a golf course with a stay at Inn on the Lake in Marsh Lake. Featured amenities include a business center, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available on request), and free valet parking is available onsite.
