10.0 Excellent
Pros: For a small stop or a stay for in the neighbourhood it was perfect. As shown in the pictures ;)
7.5 Good
Pros: Although the check-in time was between 17:30 - 20:00, we still could get into the hotel as we arrived at 4 a.m. (not without some "escape-the-room-skills"). The request was fullfilled, thanks a lot, really, as if not - we had to sleep in the car. The rooms were very clean and cosy; the breakfast was delicious.
Cons: The person, who welcomed us (and the guests, by the way) could be more open-minded to the travelers who, under circumstances, arrived late at night making some noise and not to teach, how to behave. Our request, which was sent the day before arrival, was not answered per E-mail. The phonenumber, which was given on the website, didn't answer. We felt fully unwelcome, both by check in and check out
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was fantastic! The strawberry jam was made right here. Our hostess was so friendly. My sister and I had lived in the area as young girls when our father was stationed at the nearby RCAF (Royal Canadian Air Force) base. The hostess and the other guests were our age and shared many memories of the years the Canadians lived in nearby villages. It was so much fun to brush off our French conversational skills at breakfast!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Big, clean and comfortable rooms. Very nice atmosphere and staff
Cons: No soap or shower gel. Only "leftovers" from other guests that are available for free in the lobby - which is a nice idea instead of throwing it away.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Bridgette was a fantastic host. She even gave us fresh picked strawberries for the road. If you just need a quiet, relaxing, comfortable place to stay in the area this is it.
Cons: An after hours contact number for emergencies

Pros: Excellent value for money, friendly efficient staff made us feel very welcome. Our room was comfortable and clean with a very good shower. The manager recommended a local restaurant not more than a five minute walk which served great food made with local produce.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The management were so friendly and welcoming it was a real delight, the manager spoke very good English which was a real bonus and they made me so welcome this was a pure pleasure, they even managed to get me a table at the French restaurant just up the road at very short notice, could not ask for more
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was ideal for a stop over on our way to Italy. The owner was extremely helpful, the room was clean, the breakfast buffet had a really good selection of food and the hotel was reasonably priced. It's well worth a look around the village as the river is quite scenic and if you're interested in history the American army formed a bridgehead there during the 1st World War.
Cons: I can't really think of anything I didn't like. The only issue was that we stayed on a Monday and only one restaurant in the village was open, but that's hardly the fault of the hotel.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We were welcomed by the lovely couple that run this hotel. They were concerned that we would need to book a table for dinner at the restaurant 100m up the road. She insisted on phoning them and was clearly pleased that we had got the last booking. We found out why. We had a superb meal at the only place in town! Fasthôtel Le Râle Des Genêts is a modern motel type place with a personal touch! The couple that run the place couldn't do enough for us! The room was clean and bright and parking plentiful. Perfect for our overnight stay on our way back from Italy. Thank you.
Cons: Nothing!

Pros: The Toile de Jouyi decoration, nice theme of seamstress in room. Very friendly hostess. Complimentary bottles of water, honesty bar with local beers.
Cons: Very hot in summer; a small fan would be nice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location, on top of a hill near the old church, is unique (splendid scenery, very quiet). A large bedroom (very comfortable beds) with an equally large and modern private bathroom. Everything was impeccably clean. Very friendly owners yet unobtrusive who furnished their house with a great deal of taste. Very reasonable prices. Copious breakfast included. Strongly recommended.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Pierre and Edith were wonderful hosts during our 4 night stay. Beautiful setting on top of hill above town overlooking countryside. Excellent location for visiting WW1 battlefields in area. Excellent breakfast. Very nice that owners joined us for breakfast everyday and took an interest in our plans. Room was very clean, quiet and comfortable.

Pros: The location on the ramparts on the hill near the wonderful Church over looking the Meuse is fantastic. The hosts are really affable and very knowledgeable of their local area. We were made to feel most welcome and our dog, Jackson was regularly made a fuss of, thank you. Very nice room, yummy breakfast and plenty of places to walk and exercise our dog.

Pros: Breakfast is shared with the family and other guests at the same table at the fixed time of 8.30am. There was no meat / ham etc however that was no problem. Parking is available outside the property in what is a small hamlet surrounding a historic church and castle remains. The was a good restaurant in the village called Les Colimencarts., we went there both nights.
Cons: All was good.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Good ....room,hotel,and breakfast.....no restaurants other than a Chinese
Cons: Not being able to find the location on sat nav etc.....needs clarity on reservations for location
6.7 Good
Pros: Modern build hotel which I presume most will be using a stopover point. There isn’t too much in the immediate area but there is a shopping/supermarket a short drive away. Ample free parking and there is a self check-in machine if reception isn’t staffed. You get the room code on the receipt, which really should be printed bigger as it is difficult to read if not in bright light. There is a microwave in reception area.
Cons: Room heating controls didn’t work. Although new, the windows seemed quite poor at blocking out noise. The cleaning staff tried to enter our room at just after 9am, which is far too early.

Cons: Nothing at all. Of course the village itself is not very attractive, but you are not there for it
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts were wonderful. They were very friendly and attentive. The food they cooked for us was lovely. It was nice to stay in somebody's home and get an authentic experience rather than just stay in a corporate hotel. It enabled us to meet other french guests.
Cons: I have nothing to complain about. It was excellent value for money.

3.3 Mediocre
Pros: the continental breakfast on the first day was very nice But on the second day we had to share the same size breakfast with another couple , which was very inadequate . the view was nice in the back garden but not renovated . pallets of bricks.
Cons: wifi. only available for 1 hour in the evening and then turned off. had to ask several times to turn it on. breakfast.. a breakfast for 2 had to be shared by 4 adults on the 2nd morning . very poor. host was too occupied with her baby and young child to see her guests.. no communication regarding hotel facilities that we could use. we felt we were moving into a family home and not a guest house!, we could not sit out on an evening due to the family having they evening meal and no seating for guests we would not recommend staying here.

Pros: Just excellent, the lady was took a real interest in us and our trip,I will definitely be visiting again and will recommend to everyone I know
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel and restaurant with very friendly staff. The village of Marville is exceptional, because the time seems to flow slower than elsewhere. The same is true for the Auberge de Marville. Both have a symbiotic relationship, which is very rare in our fast-paced times.
5.4 Okay
Pros: It was ok for a night stop. Expensive for what it was. Clean other than bedspread.
Cons: Our booking had not been noticed so reception lady was quite stressed. The available room however was in an annex a couple of streets away from main hotel and it looked like an office block conversion. Was quite a surprise as expected to be in hotel shown in the pictures. Bedspread looked grubby.

Pros: The staff were friendly, but the hotel was empty of guests.
