Rooms were very clean
We booked our room a few days in advance with 4 people and they gave us a room that only had enough towels for 3 people and we couldn't get a hold of anyone when using the phone to get more towels
Coffee in room was worst I ever had.
Nice large shower. View was nice. Ability to smoke freely almost is great.
Coffee in room terrible. All gambling machines same. No real coin slots sucks. Computer games no fun. Big mistake to not have real slots.
Beds unfortumble room noisy
Resort great - check in horrendous
Beautiful clean room. Amenities were great. Table games affordable.
Waited in line at least 45 minutes to check in - unacceptable.
Showy, but they cheap out
Staff was nice, valet is very convenient.
Pillows were flat and not comfortable at all. Very expensive and looks nice when you walk in, but then they cheap out on the bedding and shower didn't work well. The tv was placed awkwardly at the foot of our bed. Foxwoods is HUGE... I think we walked 2 miles to get to a restaurant for dinner. Intense workout.
Not happy
The staff and the casino
So noisy i could hear the club from my room on the 14th floor. And price was not worth it 681 for 2 nights now good
I always stay at the Fox Tower when visiting Foxwoods. I find there to be less children and family running around because it is not directly near the outlets . Love playing the slots here and black jack tables are not always super crowded . Great spare of the moment trip on a Thursday because hotel prices are not to bad .
Hotel check in is always so slow Everytime I go besides that Fox Tower is my favorite.
Don't this staff operates in comparison to the hig
The spa is amazing
The restaurant selections were same. Not really healthy options The wait for housekeeping and them not showing up was unacceptable at 500.00 a night.
Rooms are not clean
The location
The lack of cleanliness on the beds ans furniture. Nobody wants to lay there head on other people's hair. I was moved and the next room had stains on the couch and a bit less hair on the bed than the one before. My family member had the same issue in the other room we rented.
Money Well Spent
The hotel package we used for the weekend there was well worth it. Even though our time was spent roaming around and exploring as many places as possible it was nice to return back to the Fox Tower. We also met a guy by the name of Michael H. Gaudreau and he is the Concierge Representative. Very awesome guy! He helped us out with our bus information and was very welcoming and calm during a stressful situation.
Time flies when you're having fun. :(
Great time!!!
I wanted to win more money lol....
Fox Tower stay 12/21-12/24
We loved the view from our room on the 30th floor (top floor). If I were to do it again though I would reccomend future guests to ask for a "woods view". The bed was extremely comfortable & the bathroom was spacious complete with a glass enclosed shower and separate toilet area. Unless you were to use your Foxwoods points Kayak was a much better deal. It was better than the quoted nightly rate (w/ AAA discount applied) that I received from the hotel itself. Also the newest addition to the casino, Tanger Outlets, has an entrance very close by. It's to the right of the small food court & you can't miss the Broadway inspired marquee sign. If you or whoever you're traveling with are shoppers then this is definitely the place to visit. Stop by the Information counter first to inquire about their coupon books for additional $ savings if that interests you.
I didn't like the additional up charges from the property $19.49 per night extra & $100 (refundable) security deposit. It felt like I was getting nickel & dimed before I even got to my room. Then come to find out the pool on property is seasonal & the only other one on property is inside the GSpa located on a lower level. So I go there with my girlfriend & there's another charge; $15 a piece for day passes to access the spa ($25 for non hotel guests). I mean what the hell DOES the resort fee cover then? The only other point (for which I removed one star) is location. Fox Tower (formerly MGM Grand) is a hike from the main gambling options & action @ Foxwoods. Although there are slots, table games, multiple dining options & a nightclub right downstairs the real heart of the casino (in my opinion) is on the other side. It's a lengthy walk or grab the free shuttle that transports guests all over the property (every 10-15 minutes from hotel lobby). Overall though, we had a great stay at the property & the likes definitely outweigh the dislikes. Just good to know all the fine print & details before you get there so I figured I'd share.
