Pros: The hotel was very clean and the staff very accomodating. Experienced an 'odor' issue w/our first room. Never determined if it was inside the room or from an adjacent room. When brought to the attention of the staff they immediately changed our room.
Cons: This is a fairly new hotel. I noticed minor maintenance issues in the 2 rooms we occupied. The housekeeping staff should be trained to identify, and bring them to the attention of mgmt. Some were pretty obvious so it appears that is not being done.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room layout is more like an apartment to enable an extended stay, although we ended up staying just overnight. Our hotel offered a hot breakfast until 10 AM which was convenient for us with our two small children. It was our first Residence Inn stay as a family and I intend to use it again in the future!
Cons: The hot breakfast line and dining room was overcrowded at 9 AM but I suppose that is to be expected for a popular amenity with lots of families and touring groups. Otherwise I have no major complaints about this hotel!
4.2 Okay
Pros: - better than average breakfast - comfortable bed - nice shower - friendly staff
Cons: - no tub - could hear rats in air ducts - smelled moldy - cleaning service never seemed to come while we were out of the room - pull out sofa bed had a very uncomfortable mattress

8.0 Excellent
Pros: I was there for 2 nights on business and prefer to stay in the Metairie area. My usual hotel had lost their mind on the rate they wanted, so I looked for a cheaper alternative and the Sleep Inn was well priced. Staff was very nice, room was clean and well equipped and the location was perfect for me. I'm not a breakfast person, but it looked good and they had yogurt and bagels so I was happy. Overall, it is a good value for this time of year and a very nice property.
Cons: Because I spend 60+ nights a year in hotels for business. I usually have to spend time in the evening and early in the morning at the desk in the room. Why do some hotels have to put the cheapest, most uncomfortable chairs at their desks? I would rather have a straight back armless chair than that torture chair they had in the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was classier than price would suggest. Staff was friendly and helpful. Right next to I-10, so just a short drive from downtown New Orleans.
Cons: Parking is limited.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Room was very comfortable, appealing design. Facility was secure. Good value.
Cons: Location ok, but about 20 min drive, without traffic to French quarter. Not much in the surrounding neighborhood.
4.0 Okay
Pros: The employees were very nice
Cons: Dirty rooms and showers. Gross
10.0 Excellent
Pros: They let us check in early as we were driving from out of state. They also let us see the room before checking in. They have complimentary breakfast and if you can't make it in time you can get a brown bag prepared for you after filling out a form and pick up at any time. They cleaned our room really really late so we could sleep in. Staff was kind, helpful, accommodating and checking in and out was simple.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great Value! Nice beds, paytv, etc...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff, very clean, great service, very helpful. Honestly nothing I can say that is negative at all!! Would stay again in a heart beat!
Cons: I didn't like that I slept in and missed breakfast! (Did not ask for a wake up call, just hit snooze too many times haha)

9.4 Excellent
Pros: Great staff, comfortable and clean, and good location to highways, restaurants and
Cons: had difficulty with TV. twice had to get staff to come and reset the TV. Once was very late as it just stopped. The last time it would not reset.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Free Breakfast which included: scrambled eggs, sausage, french toast, waffles, cereal, oatmeal, bagels, toast, various juices, milk, and coffee.
Cons: Parking could be better. The main parking for the hotel was completely full when I came back from a wedding reception at midnight. I had to park at a lot next door that belonged to another business.
3.1 Mediocre
Cons: Hotel is right next to a main highway. Windows in our block of rooms faced the walkway, like a motel. Upon entry into room, a bug was seen crawling across the linen sheets. Could not be sure but it appeared to be a young bed bug. A further check of the linen revealed it was stained by possibly blood even after washing. No further signs of hugs though. In general, this place is not very clean. Spend the extra money and book one of many great hotels in the downtown area. Highly recommend the grand Hyatt.
6.0 Good
Pros: Hotel seems to be more on the lines of for business trip only. The room was okay for the money; however, I would not stay again. I was charged twice for my stay, but the staff did help as best they could to correct that wrong. The cleanliness was not all great. The pictures online really don't match what you see on arrival. The carpet should be cleaned or changed and the room smelled sort of old. The location is good. I was able to get to everything within minutes.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was good, flavorful & hot
Cons: Not enough bell hop carts
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfasts in the morning, most staff we ran into was friendly, good location to freeways, cleaning staff was very friendly and came to see us right away in the morning to see what we needed. Lemon water in lobby was always refreshing
Cons: Pool is not heated so couldn't go swimming Ran into one gentleman who was cleaning who never smiled or said hello. He just always looked mad at you.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved everything, especially the large space. Kitchen, livingroom and restroom.
Cons: Tge only thing, was thin mattress from the bed sofa and no extra sheets/cover for sofa bed.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The manager was VERY helpful!
Cons: I did not like the 20 minute drive to french quarters, but that's the type of thing that's out of anyone's control. Overall this place surpassed my expectations for the star level.
5.0 Okay
Pros: It was very roomy inside.
Cons: The price was rather high, for the quality.
7.0 Good
Cons: Coffee pot was broken. Dead roach was in the kitchen sink.
4.0 Okay
Pros: The layout of the room/suite was nice. Separate living room, bedroom and fully stocked kitchen.
Cons: When we arrived at 4:00 AM and the office was closed and we could not check in. Had to sleep in the car until 7:00 AM when the office opened. They said the office closes 2 days a week at 11:00 PM. What hotel does that? Not the cleanest but not disgusting.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great! Very clean and quiet and location was a plus. Nice big screen tvs
Cons: Nothing negative to say!

6.5 Good
Pros: The facility is fine. Reasonably new and at one time would have been considered upscale.
Cons: The staff was by far the worst. Dishes remained in the hall from other rooms. They never serviced the room for overnight and when I went to talk to the cleaning staff they did not speak English. People in general were grumpy. It was a weekend and I do not generally travel on weekends. So maybe they just don't like working weekends.
6.2 Good
Pros: Good price and convenient to Metairie and the North Shore...I'd recommend for a business stay. Cool hotel bar. For leisure there are better places, closer to New Orleans.
Cons: It's the small things that make or break this hotel. The room was nice and comfy enough but our room service breakfast menu had clearly been written in by the previous guest. The carpets in the halls are coming up--we tripped a few times. My 'favorite' part of the stay was when I checked in and the Front Desk Agent asked if we were familiar with the area. When I told her that we were from Metairie and were just 'hanging out' for the weekend she made a face and said, "Hm. Well some of us just aren't able." Not my fault she's bitter about working at a front desk.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Staff was really welcoming, complimentary parking was a plus!! Complimentary breakfast AND lunch!!
7.6 Good
Pros: The room was clean and comfortable.
Cons: We checked in at 4pm and 1 of our room was not ready. The staff informed she can get us another room but it will not have a double bed. We did not want to wait 1-2 hours so we agreed. Not once through that whole conversation did we get an apology for the inconvinience. The staff informed us the room was paid through booking.com and requested a credit card for incidentals. However, the card was charged at the end of the stay and a different staff informed us booking.com did not charged us initially. We had to get the payment switched to the card we initially thought was charged on booking.com Also, we had to get a pass every single day to use the fitness and pool.
6.8 Good
Pros: Location.
Cons: No sound insulation whatsoever. Noisiest room I have ever stayed in. No amenities, not a bottle of water or a cup of coffee in the lobby at these prices? Ridiculous. We were put in a handicapped accessible room without being told. So we had the tub with hand held shower and a single sink etc. just an overall cheap experience. Not up to Marriott hotel standards.
6.0 Good
Cons: The maid came barging into the room at 845am and told me where to leave her tip. I will not ever be back.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet, away from all the craziness of the French Quarter. Rooms were clean and the view of the lake was amazing. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. The pool was also very nice as was the restaurant.
2.0 Mediocre
Cons: The people who work there were so rude to the customers. Cleaning service was so bad. I asked them to clean our room when i was out for touring, but when i came back, they PRETENDED like they cleaned the room but saw dirty stuff everywhere and, very rude to the customers. I would not recommend the hotel for whoever wants to go to New Orleans.
6.8 Good
Pros: Comfortable bed, clean room, decent concierge lounge, restaurant service was quick and pleasant.
Cons: Front desk was busy so even though I mobile checked-in, I had to wait . I also asked about UPS shipping and the early morning group couldn't help me. I had to wait for the day time crew. The room seemed worn and like it needs updating. The coffee shop on the main floor (part of the hotel) was out of soy milk all three days I stayed at the hotel. Very disappointing.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Hall of entrance and vallet personnel with good service
Cons: Rooms not correspond to Marriot standards; they are out of date and without proper mantainance. Small bathroom and doesn't have mini bar. Housekeeping is so poor; they limited to male the beds and change towels; really bad!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel decor was awesome. You got a luxury feel, for non luxury price!!
Cons: The hotel was out of King rooms. And since our room was either king or double, we were stuck with a double. My wife and I just pushed the beds together. We made the best out of the situation!!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: My wife and I frequent this hotel because we know exactly what to expect. Great value, friendly staff, and very nice rooms.
5.7 Okay
Cons: We booked our reservations months in advance and when we got there we were told they were over booked. They made us go to another hotel 45 mins away. I was very upset and not a good way to stay a vacation.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Everything was actually wonderful. We got in really late and check in was very quick and easy. The staff was very helpful and nice. I would go back there without thinking twice.
7.7 Good
Cons: Pay for parking
4.5 Okay
Cons: I had to use most of the towels on the first day and had them replaced. When we came back at night, they only gave us two large towels and nothing else. It doesn't seem to be a coincidence. They didn't even replace the floor mat. My girlfriend almost fell in the bathroom after she finished shower since she didn't realize how slippery the floor was and there was no floor mat. She called the front desk for towels and no one came until we checked out. I reported to the front desk again while checking out. She didn't even apologize or think it was a problem that my girlfriend almost fell. Bad experience and won't come back to Sheraton.

Pros: Front desk staff was friendly
Cons: The room doors slam so it was distruptive night and morning. Also the walls were thin so we could hear the next door neighbor as well as the housekeeping staff's music (very loud). Location was difficult to navigate. Was not informed of a reception mentioned in other reviews.

4.0 Okay
Pros: It was an inexpensive place to stay and came with all the standard suite amenities, such as safe, coffee pot, microwave, and refrigerator. Did not use the pool and can't comment on that.
Cons: Everything was very dated and in need of replacement or deep-cleaning. The room was supposedly non-smoking, but smelled of cigarettes. The carpet was grimy and the sofa had probably been there since the 80's. The first night there had no hot water in the bathroom. The hotel was also under renovation when we stayed and there were half-painted walls everywhere. Hopefully the renovation will help in the long run.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Absolutely nothing.
Cons: No hot water at bathroom faucet. Heavy smoke odor. No bathroom exhaust fan. Open outside access doors 24 hrs a day. Room safe didn't work. Peeling tub. Fire alarm went off and manager stated unknown reason. Blood suspected on sheets.
7.1 Good
Pros: Very reasonable price and good location.
Cons: Should have been told my room was over the room with the washing machines. I didn't mind the noise just thought it was weird they didn't mention it. Once I knew where the noise was coming from, I was fine with it. Also...bathroom doors don't have locks. This would have been uncomfortable situation if I had brought a friend.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was clean
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Convenient & safe location. Staff very friendly & helpful. Room was clean & bed was comfortable. Rate was reasonable. That pretty much covers what you look for in any hotel.

Pros: Excelente estadía!! Amabilidad, limpieza y comodidad al maximo
6.0 Good
Pros: Room was clean and bed comfortable.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: end floor was being worked on and we had no heads up. I guess since I booked on kayak, I was assigned to that particular floor.Bathtub was leaking from the side. Was only there for one night and was to tired to deal with the back and fourth.
6.2 Good
Pros: Staff was cordial and helpful.
Cons: Facilities were mediocre at best. The shower fixtures were loose. Poor tile job in bathroom. Seems cheap.
4.2 Okay
Pros: Not much other than the location.
Cons: The staff was horrible, extremely dude and unhelpful. It wasn't just one of the staff, where there for 4 days and most of the front end staff was rude when asking for help or to deal with issues. We were not able to check in until 4pm. Hot water in the room didn't work constantly had to call and have them fix the boiler. No counter space in the bathroom, dingy and run down, facets messed up and needed replacement. Extremely slow elevator. No continental breakfast, they claim you get a free breakfast at the attached IHOP but all it is a muffin and a coffee.
8.8 Excellent
Cons: Front desk staff not very knowledgeable to resolve problems.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: I feel that if a hotel is not completely ready to provide a great experience to a customer, they should not! Have the hotel open for business. Front staff and entrance were exceptional. I got fooled! The nightmare began as soon as you walked into the room. Heavy ordor, like either the carpet was not washed. The furniture was so wasted, TV from 90s, omg! The pillows, not the typical size we buy at dept. Store. THESE were cut half way, no shams, I am not exaggerating, I swear, you could see the little cotton inside. We literally slept sitting down. The bathroom so dated, crusty metal everywhere. The drywall cover by wallpaper, you could touch where there was no drywall. I completely understand that maybe its under renovation after Catrina (5yrs ago) but its putting the business to failure. Ramada is a big chain and cannot invest on this hotel!!! Emberresing. They should give a script apologizing for the conditions n give a discount. $121 ain't worth it!

4.8 Okay
Pros: The staff was friendly and knowledgeable.
Cons: The room was poorly maintained, the drain in tub malfunctioned and the key wouldn't work 2 of the 3 nights
4.0 Okay
Pros: Easy access. Right next to the freeway. Not far from the airport. They have great pictures on line. I booked on kayak and the pictures there were amazing.
Cons: It's right next to the freeway. No views and nonstop traffic. The building seems old, dated, and stereotypical near airport crappy motel vibe.
3.4 Mediocre
Pros: Location
Cons: Requested non smoking room the room smelled smoke even when was clean. When booked room I spent extra money for pillow top mattress there is none in the hotel and the Is No hand held shower. The way it read only up grade rooms had fridge and microwave in them every room has them.
7.7 Good
Pros: The free continental breakfast wss delicious ! Front desk was courteous.
6.0 Good
Pros: Great location for eating in Lakeshore
Cons: Bathroom was mildewy and the toilet was about a foot off the ground
2.0 Mediocre
Cons: I had to unfortunately cancel the reservation due to change in plans, but i was not refunded of any money.
5.3 Okay
Cons: Facilities need to be updated. Door was broken.
2.8 Mediocre
Cons: When the door was closed to the room you could see outside around the bottom of the door. Trash can had a used CONDOM wrapper in it along with a CRACK PIPE. Constant traffic walking outside the room making noise. Someone trying to get into my room through the adjoining room door at 3am. Interstate traffic noise kept me up all night long. Worst Hotel stay I've ever had!!!!!

5.7 Okay
Pros: Size of rooms, location to New Orleans, free breakfast in the morning, and ample parking.
Cons: The bathrooms weren't that clean and neither were the floors
7.6 Good
Pros: The location is good if you are in the Metairie area. The price was very good. The rooms were clean. We needed a clean, inexpensive place to spend the night. This fit the bill.
Cons: It's difficult to get to the motel, as it is tucked in behind a much larger Holiday Inn. Breakfast was ok, but they have a coffee machine that dispenses instant coffee and I hate those little one-cup machines in the rooms. The clientele is primarily working-class: truckers, construction workers, etc. The attached restaurant is a diner.
7.6 Good
Pros: Location was awesome. Very affordable!
Cons: Dark carpet in the room gave the appearance of being dirty.

7.7 Good
Pros: Close To Airport
Cons: Room was not cleaned very well
4.2 Okay
Pros: the staff and management were very accommodating
Cons: this is an old hotel that was recently "renovated" however it's a dump. Had to change rooms twice because my first room had a sewage like stench coming from the bathroom. Then got moved and my new room smelled like urine and the carpet was wet. Had to checkout early and go to another hotel.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable beds, clean room (save for a chip packet which I think was overlooked) and friendly. Good amenities close to the airport.
Cons: The scrumpled up chip packet we found on the carpet was the only real downside
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The friendliness of all staff and how helpful they were to us at all times. We would definitely stay there again.
Cons: Maybe a little long walk to the restaurant area on the Riverwalk but you can't move the hotel! Stoll will stay there again!
7.1 Good
Pros: We booked 2 rooms but when we checked in, somehow the front desk staff only found one room reserved. It took a while for them to get things straightened out, but she was nice and helpful in finding us 2 rooms on the same floor. We waited about 40 minutes for our rooms. Beds and pillows were comfortable.
Cons: One of the room we had did not have a small refrigerator or microwave. The inside door handle fells off but was fixed immediately. There also seems to be a missing chair in the room as well. Not enough towels in the bathroom and no hair dryer. Carpet was kinda nappy and old.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: They gave us ear plugs on arrival, they were under rentavation, which you did not let us know. The room smelt bad, the carpet was dirty. Turned on the heat and the fire detector went off. We had to call security in the middle of the night, someone keep knocking on our door. The front desk young lady was un accommodating and had no idea what the words "commitment to excellence "meant. Not only were they doing a $5 million rentavation , they need to upgrade there personnel. We overlooked the dates and was supposed to be there for 2 nights,so to our dismay, we were locked out of our room at 10:00 pm. We were informed we could not stay another night. Had to pay late check out fee. You should have never booked us at that hotel.
7.7 Good
Cons: Small room. Shower was clogged. Lots of interstate traffic noise.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, Nice Room , Free Parking, Good Location and 15mins. from downtown.
6.0 Good
Pros: Easy access off the freeway
Cons: Got the handicap shower. Dirty bathroom
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Staff was great and super friendly. Well knowledgeable and willing to help without hesitation.
2.5 Mediocre
Cons: When we arrived late Thursday October 6, we registered and went to our room. The front desk person was warm and receptive. The room appeared odd as all of the drawers were open and the heater was on at 85 degrees. This is New Orleans. We always do a bedbug check and for the first time ever we found bedbugs. A large one was crawling on the bed skirt. We immediately caught it, placed it in a cup and got out of there! We showed the bug to the clerk who frankly appeared completely unsurprised. She placed a Kleenex over the bug and told us she was informing kayak to refund our money. We have seen no refund as of yet. DO NOT STAY HERE.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everyone was nice everything was clean the pool was cool n the Jacuzzi was bubbling hot just like I like it I will return
Cons: Their was no free breakfast like most but they have a breakfast buffet u can pay $10 for

Pros: The comfort and cleanliness of the rooms
Cons: Parking acomadations could have been better not many places to park where you can keep an eye on you vehicle
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Pool and rooms
Cons: No hot tub or fitness center
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The Super 8 Metairie was so much more than we could have predicted. The staff was friendly and fast. The room was clean and comfortable. The beds were soft though the pillows were a little to thick for our taste. The shower was clean with endless hot water and the bathroom area had room for both of us to get ready. The rooms were quiet and the location was close to tons of restaurants and shopping. Its about ten minutes to the quarter and the same to Voodoo/Jazz Fest. DONT BE FOOLED BY THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS. MAKE SURE THEY ARE VERIFIED. I TRAVEL FOR 150+ CONCERTS A YEAR FOR WORK AND WILL DEFINITELY STAY HERE WHEN RETURNING IN APRIL.
Cons: Everything was great. This place is the best deal in New Orleans for the cost.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff & helpful. Clean rooms & excellent breakfast. I stay just for a getaway.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Gave us extra towels, clean rooms, good shower pressure, typical continental breakfast

Pros: It is in a good location. They do have a nice grab and go coffee and pastry cart in the morning.
Cons: The hotel is very, very dirty. The windows were so dirty one could hardly see out. The carpet had not even been vacuumed in our room as the previous guests snack crumbs were all over. Everything is worn. No hot water!!!
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: The staff was friendly
Cons: I got ate up by bed bugs
5.0 Okay
Pros: large room, overall clean and good bed
Cons: 1) tub drained slow. 2) bathroom sink slower. 3) grab handle in shower had black and green mold caulking. 4) It is 2019 - no ice in an extended hotel. Base model wanna be Appartment concept. Much to be desired. Left ASAP.
7.0 Good
Pros: Staff very friendly, rate was cheap
Cons: The room was obviously filthy, breakfast and coffee were already put away by 9:30 on a Sunday
4.0 Okay
Pros: The staff were very friendly! All the people I interacted with had a smile on their face and greeted me. The to-go breakfast bar was also quick and easy.
Cons: The location was difficult to get to. The room was not sure clean and I found a couple of bugs in my room while I was there. The hallway also smelled like marijuana during my entire 3 night stay at this hotel which I did not like.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was ready on time when it was promised
Cons: Location is not that good. Road to come to hotel is very tricky
5.0 Okay

1.0 Poor
Pros: Location was semi- convenient.
Cons: Everything- nothing was clean, I had to retrieve towels from lobby (none in my room and they wouldn't bring any up), my key card stopped working on day 2, the bathroom sink was clogged and leaking, the toilet wouldn't flush, the shower barely spit wat
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Location
Cons: Staff at front desk is rude. There's nothing left for breakfast at 8:30am. I didn't know how could this hotel get 3-start rating!
5.0 Okay
Cons: The rooms had a bit of a smell but that is most likely from cooking in the rooms. In our first room it was over powering but staff switched us to a different room immediately. They were very nice about it. The second room was just fine.
