Great staff. Clean rooms
The service was great and the hotel restaurant had good food for a great price.
The rooms were clean and the beds were so comfortable. The bathroom was so clean I didn't cringe when my kids had a bath! We were really happy with everything. No breakfast was a big inconvenience for us.
The staff was super friendly and helpful. We were unfamiliar with the area and they printed maps off to help us get around.
Decor & furnishings up to date Continental breakfast was nice, lady maintaining it very nice Weird gross smell throughout: wife described as "sewage with Apple air freshener" Room at 60 degrees when we got there Staff not rude, but not overly helpful We got placed in handicapped room somehow- no big downside, but shower head super low, had to duck to wash our hair (big bathroom though!)
The room was clean and updated. All of the staff was friendly and helpful, they treated you like a person instead of just someone passing through. Jeff has a wonderful staff working there, If i'm in Boise again, I'm staying there. There was only one thing I didn't like, but this happens in alot of the hotels i stay in, They have a really nice HDTV but they run analog cable on it. That would be the only thing I would change.
Central Location, helpful staff.
Everything was great at this hotel. The beds where nice and the service was great. I will be staying here again.
price and cleanness liked it all
From check in to he room to the breakfast...everything was exceptional Nothing could have been improved on
Large room, very spacious and comfortable. The fact of not having a restaurant inside, I didn't know that and I had to go out late at night because the alternative was to buy fast food on room service.
great pool and hot tub. basketball court that is fenced in. Great breakfast with many choices. comfy beds and clean room overall.
Back door did not lock stop everyone from coming in without a key.
The pillows were horrible. Very lumpy and small. The bed was too short. I am 5'11" and my feet were hanging off the end.
No fridge, microwave, bathroom air vents, and the elevator broke. I'm a disabled vet who was told unfortunately I would have to carry my bags up to my room on the third floor, then back down again in the morning because the elevator still wasn't fixed yet. Breakfast was cereal with no milk, waffles that ran out of batter by 730, and cold coffee. The value inn across the way advertised for 35 dollars cheaper than I booked mine for on a billboard driving into town. Nothing around for miles but a truck stop.
convenient to what I wanted to do n/a
Loved the pool and sauna, breakfast was nice Neighborhood felt sketchy
after telling the kiddo for five hours of driving that we were goong to go swimming, the pool was "closed for 24 hours". when i explained our dissapointment at check in i was abrupty told that i could cancel my reservation. overall, the place is clean, worn out and out of the way. dont expect to walk anywhere and the free breakfast looked terrible.
Dirty bathroom with clogged drains.
Very clean, friendly and comfortable beds Could hear next door room
Breakfast staff was on top of everything during breakfast hours. Toilet. Tub and sink needs to be replaced as they were permanently dirty. Holes in wall. Screen door broken and hard to open. Hotel needs lots of updating.
5 HBO channels Pet friendly Great breakfast all the way to 11:00 Superior Staff Microwave fridge in room Beauty location Value priced It's a bit tricky to navigate to and from this little gem tucked between two one way streets right on the river.
I liked that it was connected to the green belt. It was at a convenient location to get to downtown. Our room was poorly cleaned. It looked like the bathroom floor had not been mopped, and the sink was plugged up.
The beds were very comfortable. Bathroom was nice, although the floor was not level around the door or bath area. TV's and wifi were great. This room was by an entrance, next to the pool and the breakfast area. The refrigerator was THE loudest one I've ever heard. So, unless you are getting a GREAT deal, THAT room is not a great room. Its on the first floor.
VERY friendly and helpful staff~from girls at the front desk to gentleman in the hospitality room to housekeeping staff! ! Lovely location next to river with extensive green belt for walking our dog. Very good experience overall. Facility is in need of TLC. Furniture in our room was very worn. Shower worked but I couldn't run just water for a bath.
I mean, it's a $65/night hotel - what do you want? It was clean and comfy and the staff was really nice and helpful.
The staff was very helpful and worked hard to offset the minor inconveniences of a new ownership in an older hotel building. They are in the middle of upgrading, but have a ways to go. The location has some very nice points like access to the Boise greenbelt and good restaurants nearby. The laundry facilites are due for an upgrade, still working the bugs out of their internet.
This place has improved over the old Shilo Inn but still needs a lot more updating to be truly nice. New furniture, bedding, floor coverings, some lighting, TVs and appliances. Single pane windows, old drapes, wallpaper, bathroom fixtures and tile. Crumbling lampshades, tile around tub not clean.
The room was comfortable and spacious and the staff was very friendly. There was a random alarm going off that nobody seemed to be able to figure out where it was coming from. The staff member was very nice and seemed concerned about the noise disrupting guests but it seems that the staff should be prodvided with information from management regarding the building such as various alarm systems and how to troubleshoot or resolve, etc.
The entire staff was attentive and friendly. Nancy was a true professional behind the bar!
The view from our window was great for my girls! Ordered breakfast the night before to be delivered at 8:30AM showed up 45 mins late. Paid $18 dollars to have my car get parked only to get a parking ticket! Still no one has returned my call and the front desk did nothing!!
We loved the valet parking. Downtown. Walking distance to a lot of places. Bed was ok. Pillows were ok. We both woke up with neck aches. The towel rack IN FRONT of the bathroom sink was very awkward. Trying to lean over and wash your face in the sink was not comfortable, and put added pressure on my low back! Why aren't the towel racks on the EMPTY wall next to the sink?!
Location is superb...central to the best shopping/dining/entertainment district in downtown Boise. Staff was very friendly and helpful, but that's probably just a reflection of the people of Boise/Idaho. Nice, nice people everywhere. lobby/hallway carpeting is older and dirty. Everything else is very well maintained and clean.
We have stayed here many times and it is always top quality
Stayed here multiple times and is always great. The staff always friendly and helpful.
This hotel and the staff made us feel very welcome. From the point of check in until check out they were great and the room was very nice. Although the check in clerk did not upgrade us (we are Platinum Elite Lifetime members) we did get a very nice room. She stated that the only 1 bedroom available was a HC room. We declined and stayed in a studio room. I think, however, there were larger studios based on the map of rooms on the door. Would have been nice to have had a larger room. That was really the only downfall, which wasn't a big deal. We didn't need the kitchen, but it would have been really nice if we had been staying longer. The amenities of the room are great and the decorating is very nice. Breakfast selection was very good and the attendant kept everything replenished and fresh. Can't say enough about the hotel as it was very comfortable. The hotel is very well located with restaurants within walking distance. Near a freeway but no noise from it. Thanks to the hotel and staff for a great stay. 'Retiredtraveler'
Great place to stay. Clean, quiet, and comfy. Friendly staff and great rates. Rooms are very nice.
Fantastic hotel for a family with a few children. Will stay again!
We had originally planned on taking our little chorky with us on the trip but in the end probably better that we didn't. Anyway we booked the weekend to see the Beavers play then in reviewing our plans decided we were going to be in the area a day earlier. (this is more a travel website issue) I tried adding an addition day to the same reservation(for some reason Thursday cost more the Friday) and being this was a good buy I couldn't without canceling the original reservation and re-booking (insert fee here) when I found out Marriott has a * non-refundable pet deposit. Just be warned. They say its on the web site but I was never able to find it. Other than that this place is awesome, great rooms, great service, nice location, Boise isn't that big so you are close to everything, excellent breakfast
front desk was prompt and friendly. hotel was clean and friendly. the room was clean and neat. my only complaint was the mattress was too hard, sheets didnt properly fit and a couple pillows just had some sort of cotton filer. you could hear the person above you who from the noise sounded to be at least 300 pounds
This hotel is always clean and the staff is friendly. This hotel is convenient to many restaurants and is easily accessible from the highway. Iam a frequent business traveler and highly recommend this location.
I stay at this hotel regularly for work and I find that it always has a great staff who are responsive and helpful with anything I need. When you consider both price and comfort, I don't think there is a better deal around. Always clean and well suited for my work.
We had a two bedroom suite, which made staying in a hotel with four kids bearable! The pool was fun, and they had a whirlpool too, we had so much fun in them! The breakfast was generous and yummy, lot's of healthy choices, and they weren't running out of stuff even though we came down toward the end of breakfast time. Would totally stay again, and location is optimal!!
The TownPlace Suites did everything we asked of them to accomodate a group of customers we had in town for our Open House.
clean and well maintained hotel. Great location and fairly priced. A delivery truck started delivering to the hotel very early.
The breakfast was awesome, the cooks did great customizing each omelette. The pool area has an additional 1 ft kiddy pool great for toddlers. Room was clean and staff was friendly. Great location.
It was clean and comfy and the staff was very welcoming and nice. The bathrooms are way nice with a separate shower and huge tub. The fridge also had a little freezer box and the.microwave could fit my daughters bottle which was great! It's just off the freeway and surrounded by good restaurants.
A little noise
Simple temperature control, Some TV channels were blurry
Very nicely decorated. The inclusion for breakfast and the evening reception was also very nice. The typical hotel bed was somewhat uncomfortable.
The large bathtub For the amount of money you pay to stay, access to cheaper snacks and drinks. Staff was unseen until am
We had to be in Boise for death in the family. The manager and staff at this hotel made us feel so welcome when we stopped into see family staying at this hotel. That we moved over from the hotel we had been in to the holiday express.
The rooms are nice and big with a fridge and microwave. The pool is open 24 hours. The breakfast has a wide selection of items. The staff is exceptionally nice. Close to everything in Meridian and the major interstate. Nothing
The enviroment overall was great, I couldn't have asked for a better stay.
Very nice stay. Staff took care of any needs . Included buffets were great.
Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast buffet was awesome. Staff was very nice. Property was dated
The rooms are very nice....clean... Extremely comfortable bed and pillows. The staff is very friendly . We booked the room with the double hot tub, we arrived a night early and they upgraded us to the hot tub room so we wouldn't have to change rooms the next day ! Love this hotel !! And amazing buffet breakfast included with the room. Nothing It's our new favorite Boise Hotel
Location, staff, comfortable bed, nice to have a restaurant in house Busy restaurant in morning. No coffee made
There isn't anything I would change.
My room wasnt ready at check in 3pm so I was told that I would be upgraded however next day I found out I wasn't upgraded
Very nice and very clean! Great location and easy to find. Would definitely recommend and stay again!!
I love the modern look of the rooms. Very spacious, big pull out couch and living room area, big flat screen TV, refrigerator. Delicious complimentary breakfast. Great deal for just under $100. The staff seemed a little incompetent. We ordered room service and then they called us almost an hour later and said we have to come down to the lobby to carry up our own food. When I got down there they had four plates and three drinks sitting on their front desk counter. I asked if they at least had a tray I could use but they said the one tray they had was stolen. So I had to take a couple trips to carry up all my food. And the room service food was terrible and basically inedible so it was a waste of money. But their breakfast food was great. The bathrooms in our room did not have a sanitary strip around the toilet but there were some in the droor so it was clear they are supposed to use them. I called the desk to ask for a couple more pillows and a blanket because we wanted to use the pull out bed from the couch for our kids and there was not bedding for that bad in the room. The woman at the front desk seemed very put out and said they only have a small number of extra pillows in the whole hotel, but they eventually brought them to us. So if I would have just stayed in the hotel without ordering room service or needing any help from the staff I would have given a great review because I did love the room for a great price. They just need a little help with customer service.
Liked the hotel decor, fitness center, coffee bar, beer and wine and the limited but good menu for food No healthy hot options for breakfast, oatmeal tastes like glue!, why so many sweetened kids cereals???? Ugh so annoying
We arrived during the March Madness basketball tournament and I was hoping to catch the second half of a game. The first room had a TV connection issue. When I called, I assumed they would send up someone to connect wires or hit some buttons to set up the TV properly. Instead, they put us in a new room within 5 minutes of my phone call. I saw the entire second half of the game. Thank you.
Reservation wasn't held. Kicked me out.
The room was spacious and comfortable. It was clean. There wasn't a microwave in the room. We had to leave at 6:30 before the breakfast, so we didn't get to take advantage of that.
The bed was horribly uncomfortable, no blanket, top sheet had a brown stain on it. I didn't even spend the night, I just left. I will say the employees were very sweet. The pool looked clean, and my room in general was clean.
Having a refrigerator, table, and microwave was very nice. The location was easy to get to. The facilities have been remodeled very nicely. The air conditioner worked very well also. The staff were always very helpful to address any issues. The bed could have been bigger. Was supposed to be a queen size but think it was a full size. Had a little issue with getting clean towels but the front desk person was very helpful taking care of it
The owner of this and the adjacent hotel certainly has his customers in mind. Excellent remodel, staff and environment.
Good location HVAC system was terribly noisy. Each time it turned on we were woken up.
The staff were incredibly friendly and professional as you would expect. The best part was how friendly they were which reflects what I have seen of most Boise citizens. They greet you each time you come in and the valet was quick to help with directions or any requests made. Cafe and restaurant are solid options for the city. The hotel was obviously older and renovated. Bathrooms were lackluster and products in the room were not what I would expect from a boutique hotel like this one. Wireless internet could barely stream Pandora and anything greater than that was out of the question.
Clean and comfortable, friendly and attentive staff.
Great atmosphere, relaxing, professional, and no disturbances. All around amazing experience! We didn't get to spend more time there... But that wasn't Hotel 43's fault!
great as usual!
Great Location , comfort bed , great staff
This hotel felt fresh and new. Beds were very comfortable, and large pool and work out facilities. Everything was clean.
Indoor pool/hot tub, spacious suite, wifi, friendly staff, very quiet, beautiful grounds, 12:00 pm checkout, proximity to shopping/entertainment/dining, climate controlled and modern rooms. Floors were dirty underneath beds.
All the staff were very friendly and super accommodating.
Everyone what very nice and accommodating. The pool and workout area were very nice and well equipped with good equipment. You could smell smoke in the room whenever the bathroom fan came on, so much so that it was difficult to take a deep breath.
We were there for a wedding, it was the perfect location. It was a very nice hotel and will stay there again. You had to pay for breakfast. I am not a morning person and don't usually eat breakfast so everyone goes to the hotel and we sit around they eat I drink coffee. We did not feel that comfortable there.
No free breakfast
We were greeted with a warm smile upon arrival and then every time we returned back to the motel. It was the quickest, smoothest check in that we have ever had in our travels. As we left, we were told to have a wonderful day. Having to leave.
Had to pay for breakfast. $11/person. There wasn't a continental breakfast.
I THOUGHT IT WAS A GOOD DEAL FOR THE MONEY. THE LOCATION WAS THE MOST BENEFICIAL THING FOR US. IT WAS EXTREMELY CONVENIENT FOR ATTENDING A CONCERT AT THE TACO BELL ARENA. I REALLY WANTED EGGS WITH THE BREAKFAST, BUT OTHERWISE I WOULD RECCOMMEND THIS MOTEL FOR FRIENDS AND I WILL STAY HERE AGAIN!!
Place was quiet, but we were in fairly late and out the next morning. Room was clean. Could use a better internet connection. It was rather slow Breakfast was minimal.
Great facility and staff. Location is at the edge of town and very close to the airport so shopping and dining options are very limited without driving
This was a great place to stay! Just off the Freeway and right next to the airport (though you couldn't hear the planes!) Downtown isn't that far away either. The staff were very pleasant to deal with. We had many interactions, and from the Front Desk to the Housekeeping everyone was kind, patient, and happy to help. The rooms were very up-to-date and comfortable. They had plenty of pillows, too! It was a nice place to stay. We will probably be back, since we travel through Boise often.
Front desk check in staff was a bit rude at check in. It is a disappointment that this facility does not have an indoor pool, considering it is in an area that has warm enough weather for outdoor swimming approximately two months a year. On that note, having the availability of a hot tub room/exercise room would at least be a favorable asset and more appealing for travelers.
Great value for the money. Plenty of parking, close to the airport.
Very clean, comfortable beds, breakfast, later check out time
Staff attention to detail Eating/dining options are limited but it not the fault of the hotel
I was so quiet but I was there on a Sunday night. Breakfast was pretty minimal.
We stayed only one night, the bed was very comfortable, the staff were very friendly. Overall, it was very good. We stayed on the second floor and during the night, someone on the third floor above our room on the third floor got up and walked heavily on the floor, enough to wake us up twice during the night.
Clean, quiet room, ready on arrival. Bed comfortable. Good web connection. Staff helpful and courteous. Good value, will stay again. Breakfast poor.
Staff was really friendly and helpful.
We loved the breakfast and the cookies in the evening. Lovely and inviting lobby area to relax and read. The bed was too soft for our liking.
That was probably the most comfortable bed I've ever been on - I wanted to put it on the top of my car and bring it home with me. The toilet was difficult to flush...not impossible, but it had an issue.
