The room was very clean and the owners are very friendly and accommodating. At first glance, you see a relic left over from the hey-days of the space program, which by the way, the name fits perfectly. BUT, our room had been completely renovated and was probably one of the cleanest rooms of any hotel I've ever stayed in. (and yes, I've stayed in quite a few) It was a very personal experience. The owners even called shortly after check-in to make sure everything was OK. Any and all of our needs were met and taken care of as if we were family. We had all the amenities (Microwave, Fridge, Coffee maker) as other hotels I've paid twice the price to stay in. (less than a week later) The exterior is dated, but well maintained. Considering this is a family owned business and not a corporate cookie cutter operation, I'd say they're doing it pretty well on their own. Definitely recommend for the budget minded traveler. Is it perfect? No. But I've never been to a hotel/motel that was. Are there nicer hotels? Sure! Can you beat the level of personal service for the price? I doubt it. I've seen other reviews for this hotel that mentioned the lack of amenities such as continental breakfast, nearby restaurants, phones in room, etc. Blah, Blah, Blah! For the price you can't beat this place. It's close (enough) to Kennedy Space Center (purpose of our visit), There ARE restaurants and other stores (Walgreens, Wal-Mart, etc) within reasonable driving distance (7 miles or so), and who travels without a cell phone these days? Why be concerned with a phone in the room?
Staff was nice No swimming pool, terrible parking, noisy
Nothing Looked like a party house in courtyard. I'm sure there were drugs being done on site, you should take them off your site!! I also want a call from Priceline and my money returned!!
The hotel staff was kind and helpful; the rooms were clean and well equipped. The parking lot was difficult.
All new and clean noisey. the refrigerator made alot of noise and so did the heater and airconditioner. Also couldn't watch t.v. when I open the remote found only 1 battery.
The manager was very friendly, very helpful in providing suggestions and directions. The washing machines that we had planned to use to wash our laundry mid-trip were broken and the cleanliness of the room was questionable since I saw a cockroach and the shampoo available had been opened and used already.
owner was very friendly and helpful. room was as good as any higher priced hotel's parking was a little tight but managable. It would be nice to have a continental breakfast on site.
The room was clean and comfortable.
clean thin pillows with no extra ones
This clean affordable motel is a hidden gem in the Cocoa area. Too close to railroad tracks.
Price, compared to what little was available when we booked. Location was a little sketchy. A very loud freight train passes next to you multiple times a night, and will likely wake you up. Beds are terribly noisy, even with slight movements and shifts. Rooms smell like smoke, but they are clean.

It was clean. It was a good location. I didn't know they had smoking rooms, we don't smoke. We tried for another room, but they didn't have any. The desk clerk gave us a can of room spray. It was ok. We didn't have coffee in the room.
It was close to Port without port prices and close to a Walmart for picking up last minute items. The staff was pretty unfriendly, it was by a train and very loud, we couldn't find the ice maker, some amenities were missing, and there were ants in our bathroom.
Convienent local, Mitchells restaurant close by great staff and food Not enough electric outlets in room
Location Too close to the train track. Ask for non smoking room was told there wasn't any and was given smoking room instead.
reasonable price with micro, frig and comfortable bed. The noise levels of several trains across the street and street traffic noises, like motorcycles all night.
This motel was clean. The beds were unbelievably comfortable along with the pillows. The best stay for comfort and sleep that we've had at a Motel. We've stayed at Hotels for over triple the price in one night and had a terrible nights sleep. Nothing - We had the best 2 night stay away from home. We slept like babies. Oh and free WiFi also..
It did the job a place to sleep at night. No frills motel that was pretty clean and pretty safe. Hard beds, the train came by a few times, and a very small bathroom, The trains were really no big deal and sped by quickly so I just turned over and went back to sleep.
close downtown Historic Cocoa, restaurants and shopping nearby, a +clean rooms, and friendly staff too close to the train tracks! hard to sleep through at night, too many trains
