10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was clean - comfortable & quiet - the staff was friendly - the rates were reasonable & they upgraded my room
4.0 Okay
Pros: Central location and close proximity to the Mall area were both positives. The staff was OK as long as honesty isn't a criteria. When we arrived, we were given the wrong room (one king bed does not work for a family of two grandparents, one adult daughter and a baby). We were told that they were sorry, moved to a two-queen bed room, and assured we would be given a different room the next day. When we went to the desk the next day, we were told that we were on a waiting list if there was a cancellation but no rooms were available--that they would call us if a room was available. They then put us back in our original room. Unfortunately we had pre-paid. They refused to issue a refund, citing the clause in the pre-pay agreement. We paid for the two-king room, were given a one-king and had to rent a room in a nearby hotel for our adult daughter and grand-child.
Cons: The two-queen room we had on night one was filthy. The one-king room was cleaner. The fireplace in the one-king room did not work. They did not service the room everyday. It seemed to be a "by chance" sort of system--some days we had housekeeping, other days we did not.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Front Desk personell were very helpful. Offered to assist with a smile. Room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was pretty good.
Cons: Eggs were dry from sitting, Otherwise Breakfast was good.

8.2 Excellent
Pros: the winter rates i recieved were less than the rates at some nearby lesser motels. easy access to interstate 55 and 74. property seems very well maintained for as old as it is. halls and rooms seemed to have new carpet and fresh paint.
Cons: property is a bit dated. looks very 90's. even though the carpets in the hall and room looked new, the were very ugly. the refrigerator in the room was clogged with frost. it needed to be defrosted. Iron was bolted to the ironing board. was difficult to use.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very helpful, friendly. Upgraded us to double suite! Clean, spacious. Beds were very comfy.
Cons: No issues
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean room, good food, friendly staff.
Cons: Location was not easy to get to.
6.2 Good
Pros: Common areas of the hotel are updated and the hot breakfast helped us avoid a stop at a restaurant to eat. Carpeting in the room was new. Fridge, sink and microwave in the room. The room was huge but not a suite as advertised. Beds were comfy. It has a pool and exercise room which we didn't use.
Cons: This is an older property being renovated. We arrived at 10:30PM after hours and hours on the road. The elevator was being 'rebooted' and would be working in about 30 minutes. We carried our luggage up to the third floor rather than wait. Good thing...still didn't work in the morning. WiFi was awful and cut out intermittently. Wouldn't even load simple web pages. I called the front desk and was told to move to the other side of the room and it would work. "I promise...", she added. Broken promise... lol The room showed it's age, patched holes in walls, dirty shower, broken door knobs, old cabinets, items placed in the refrigerator were frozen when we removed them the next morning. Parking lot is a bit too small. It was full by the time we arrived. I had to park down the street.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was awesome
Cons: I recievd ate mail that said check-in by email. I did that and when we arrived the staff memory behind the counter said we never get those. I don't know what that is
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and large rooms. Very nice for the price.
6.2 Good
Pros: They offered free breakfast but we didn't go so I cannot rate it. The attendant was as helpful as possible but we had to wait for two separate ones to come back to the counter from the bar area when we approached the desk.
Cons: Our reservation was incorrect (although the hotel said it was pricelines fault) so we were shorted a bed for our 4 year old. The attendant provided a cot (which was very thin and would be very uncomfortable for any adult) when we were informed they were sold out for the night. All that was provided by way of toiletries was a small bottle of shampoo and a bar of soap. The room looked a little "used" with a half hazard paint job and scuffed up furniture. I wasn't at all impressed and won't stay again.
6.0 Good
Pros: Cheap rate.
Cons: Shabby, sketchy location, sketchy clientele.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was amazing. The room was HUGE, clean, and well-appointed. Felt like a $150/night room, but I only paid $65 or so. Will definitely find excuses to need a hotel again so I can go stay there again. :)
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Bed was great. Price was fabulous.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: The grill and bar downstairs had great food for decent prices, the staff were all very friendly and the rooms exceptionally clean and accommodated all of our needs.
Cons: I didn't like how close it was to the interstate. Over all a great place to stay. I believe if I would have stayed on the first floor rather than the third floor the road noise wouldn't have been as bad as it was.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: the room was very spacious and wall arranged. The beds were very comfortable!! I do not believe I moved all night!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: very friendly staff
Cons: nothing I can think of
7.4 Good
Pros: The staff was very nice, and the room appeared very clean. The breakfast buffet is better than most at mid level hotels, and the bar is very nice.
Cons: That being said there were many small details that just seemed to not be as well maintained as in previous visits i.e. elevator kind of dirty, suggestion box falling off wall, etc. Small I know, but they add up. Was really annoyed I couldn't watch the Cubs game in my room, and we had an infestation of gnats. Refrigerator rattled, and even with the air set at 60 we were hot. I have always enjoyed staying here, but last time we stayed at the Hyatt, and pretty sure that is where we will return to next visit.
3.7 Mediocre
Cons: The room was dirty, with dirty wash clothes laying on the floor when I arrived. There was patch work done to the walls with no paint. The walls had many stains, scuffs, and mystery substances. The ice bucket had some sort of syrup all over it and in it. The bathroom had toothpaste all over the walls, the counter had not been wiped and there was someone else's facial hair trimmings all over. The wash cloths had holes in them as well. Can't say I would stay here again.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean. Everyone at the Front Desk was kind & helpful. The Breakfast Bar attendant was great... nice smile. Location was great right across from "Constitution Trail" for biking.
Cons: Not having digital cable in room so we could watch the Cards/Giants Post Season game Sun. night. Also, the word "Tavern" has an older meaning to it. I would suggest it be changed to "Bar & Grill" or something more modern.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It was a great stay as always. The breakfast is always amazing. Good restaurant and friendly staff.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: We stayed for 2 nights during Special Olympics state competition, and were impressed with lots of delicious options at breakfast. Our room was clean and comfortable. There were no issues with noise during our stay in late August.
Cons: It would be nice if the breakfast opened earlier than 7 am on the weekend.
7.1 Good
Pros: Staff was awesome.
Cons: Elevator and prep sink in eating area were in serious need of cleaning, which makes one wonder about everything else.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: The beds were super comfortable, my business partner was impressed with the complementary starbucks coffee.
Cons: Unfortunately the furnace was out.

4.2 Okay
Pros: Rate
Cons: After the great difficulty at check in, my expectations were not very high. Because we could not get in until midnight we experienced nothing besides the room which was pleasant but a little dated Bed was comfortable. Kids found a cheeto in their bed. Again it was a bargain with non professional staff so I wasn't all that surprised. For another $10 you can find better.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Room was clean and convenient. This hotel was great when it was new, but now has aged past it's prime. But for the price it's a bargain. Good location, plenty of parking, and close to many shopping and dining options. No wow factor, big frugal factor.
Cons: AC units starting to show age and can be a little noisy.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: room
Cons: all was good

Cons: Pillows were awful. AC was loud. Wallpaper was peeling. No source of hot water for tea. Used to be a really nice hotel, when it was Jumers. Going downhill fast. I see why it's so cheap. Won't be going back.

Pros: One of the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept on. The heater in the room was extremely noisy but it was too cold to turn it off. Woke me up evey half-hour or so. The smallest noise in the hall travelled gage length of the hotel and into the room. Would not stay here again.
7.7 Good
Pros: Friendly staff. Conveniently located to downtown, airport, and restaurants. Great value for the price. Located next to Tony Roma's.
Cons: The bed mattress was not very comfortable, it seemed very lumpy. Otherwise, it was a rather nice place to stay.
4.0 Okay
Pros: We chose to stay here due to the price compared to other hotels in the area. That was a big mistake. The employee who checked us in was sick and coughing. We had to ask for a couple extra pillows as there was only two in the room. Then we found the bugs in the bed! We ended up leaving the light on all night hoping that would keep the bugs at bay. Obviously we were not comfortable we hardly slept. Upon checkout the employee was rude and wasn't worried about helping those checking out.
5.4 Okay
Pros: The hotel was nearly empty on 12-25-15 Christmas. But they still choose to put us next to an employees families young children who where yelling and banging into our wall where our bed was. Asked for ear plugs, they had none. It really set us back being overly tired for our road trip to Florida. I will never stay here again.
6.0 Good
Cons: Walls are thin. I could hear the entire phone conversation the woman next door was having at 11pm. I could here loud kids across the hall as well. Additionally, they have sensor lights in the room that cause the entire room to light up in the middle of the night, even when everyone is asleep.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed our stay. Hotel was clean, staff very nice. We LOVED the Tomy Roma Restaurant; food was delicious great value and the staff was extremely efficient and nice. We ate there for our dinner and breakfast meals. WONDERFUL!!
Cons: Noisy and Noisy!! We could hear the person in the next room clearing their throat as if they were standing right next to us. Also heard every footfall from the floor above us, even ones in the hallway. That really should be fixed as it is not desirable to clients for revisiting. We ran a fan all night and was so glad we did!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, quiet, well maintained property located near dining and shopping.

Pros: The room was comfortable and the bed was awesome! Slept great.
Cons: Lights in bathroom flickered frequently. Toilet is pretty small as toilets go these days.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The motel is well located and easily reached. Everything was well maintained andand in good work order.
Cons: The room was quite small. There was little space to walk around the queen sized bed. This was not a problem for me as I didn't spend much time in the room and was traveling alone. It would have been a serious consideration had I been accompanied.

4.0 Okay
Pros: It was inexpensive. Old carpet had been replaced with new laminate hardwood, new bed, bed linen, tv. Best rate was only available on line. Clean and comfortable with fresh paint. Fair value for an inexpensive night stay. Did not try the free breakfast.
Cons: Best rate was a smoking room, only disclosed at booking time. 800 number was argumentative. Local number only picked up on the 4th try. Front desk was less than helpful as they sat and watched videos on their phone, since the lobby tv didn't work. Drop down ceiling in bathroom was water stained brown and sagging. For a newly upgraded room the bathroom wall trim was old and loose, poorly covered a hole in the wall big enough for a coffee cup. Towels weren't part of the upgrade, old and worn. Parking was limited due to construction. Outside dumpster was overglowing. Door key has phone number for local pizza that doesn't deliver to this location.
6.0 Good
Cons: Small bathroom/ shower. Lobby smelled really strange.
4.2 Okay
Pros: Pillows were soft. Water was hot. The heater worked. They had whole milk at Breakfast.
Cons: The door took multiple (5-7) tries to get in every time. When applying pressure to the door it felt like it was starting to cave in as if it was rotted. Had to fill a garbage can with water to flush my toilet. TV was tiny & offset from the bed. Walls didn’t offer much sound barrier. Homeless people had a camp a 100 yards from room.
6.8 Good
Pros: I like the location of the Red Roof Inn Blooomington. It was very convenient for me. The staff was also noteably helpful and accomadating.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Available through internet with good reputation and a good price.
