Aloft is an industrial looking and decorated hotel, near the airport. This hotel has a pool, gym, bar and a pay by the item breakfast bar. The rooms are large and very quiet. Each room has tall elevated ceilings. Everything seems to be separated by concrete, which makes this place very quiet. It has a shared parking lot with food options. We’ve stayed here before and probably will again because it is so quiet once inside!
Pros. Convenient to airport. Lots of restaurants but good ones are a 5-10 minute cab ride away on a VEEY busy street. Nice staff.
Cons. Shower leaked onto floor; when I told the desk about it, no one did or said anything, did not even write anything down. The design of the entire hotel is like an unfinished warehouse (unfinished concrete walls and floors, bared pipes, exposed ceilings) which left me cold. Traffic was unbelievable, but this was days before Super Bowl nearby.
