TV never worked and despite mentioning this twice nothing was done about it. Also I had ongoing problems with the key card to gain access to my room and lost count of the times I had to go to reception to be let intoy room. While the desk were always prompt in resolving each issue, I felt it would have been better if the actual issue with the door itself was resolved. .

The bathrooms need upgrading...no chance of slipping when taking a shower as there is no coating left on the bath. The breakfast room is pretty dire too, quite a lot of choice but scrambled eggs every day.

The staff were really friendly and the location was excellent. My shower was actually very good - didn't go all over the bathroom and the safety deposit box was a good size and easy to use.
The room and bathroom was so old. Rust in the bathroom, tiles black, bath peeling, old bedding and a general feeling of grubbiness but it was clean. Okay for the money, I guess, but I wouldn't stay here again. The hotel allocated me a room on the top floor and when I opened the door the smoke hit me. I went straight down to reception and asked for a non smoking room which they quickly arranged. I have never booked a bad hotel on booking.com until now so was disappointed.
