The room, the view, the bed
Brown foam in hot tub. No turkey or beef sausage.
The staff are excellent.
We feel there are generally touches missing at this class of hotel in Montreal to make it a true four star. The decor in this older hotel has been updated but only up to a point. There were no slippers in the room, the bathrobes are very thin and we had to ask for more than two slim bars of soap. Parking is private and has an extra charge. The breakfast room/restaurant is very small for a hotel of this size and the breakfast buffet priced at $25 per person. The à la carte menu prices are set/designed to nudge customers to take the buffet even if one only wants a bit of toast and coffee. We spent more than $60 on breakfast for two including tax and tip when all we wanted was a bit of toast and coffee. I would have left the hotel to eat but my partner likes to have his breakfast in hotel, which seems reasonable when choosing a four star. I resent feeling manipulated towards a particular menu choice (the perils of behavioural economics in the hands of businesses). We travel frequently in Italy in particular and would find it odd not to have a comprehensive breakfast included at this class of hotel and price. For these reasons I would hesitate to stay again.
The front desk are nice and helpful.
The room service was not very good. Took my order incorrectly and took longer to bring food than what they told me.
The pool and the gym are awesome and so clean The change room offers creams , blow dries , spray and hair products ; which impressed me The rooms are spacious Breakfast buffet is great

Location excellent for seeing the city. Metro very close. Upper room suite was spacious, great views and nice sitting areas. Very quiet for sleeping. Were there for our anniversary, and received a treat of Champagne & strawberries shortly after arrival! Concierges Giovanni & Jonathon most helpful. All staff were top notch!
Breakfasts good, but for the price would expect to see stations for fresh prep of eggs/omelets and crepes/waffles. Also missing some Quebec specialties such as poutine & cretons. Valet parking responsive but expensive. General room décor could use some brightening.
In beautiful downtown Montreal, there are some historic districts that tourists love to check out. One of these is the Golden Square Mile. This historic district welcomes all travelers and has some fantastic sites, dining, and shopping. It also has some wonderful hotels for weary travelers. One of these hotels is the Hotel Omni Mont-Royal. This hotel is located near McGill University. This hotel features an outdoor pool that is seasonal, a fitness center, and has 299 rooms in a 31-story building. There is also a business center, currency exchange, valet parking, spa, and nightly turndown service.
The luxurious bedrooms here are just what keep the guests coming! Each room comes with luxurious linens, work desk, in-room safe, luxury bathroom amenities, hairdryer, plush bathrobe, iron, daily newspaper, sensational bar, coffee maker, WiFi, iHome docking station, and a flat-screen television with cable channels. All of the rooms here are non-smoking. Dining is also available on-site at Alice Bar and Le Petit Opus Café.
Guests of the hotel should get out and explore the area. There is quite a lot to see here, and most of it is very close to the hotel. The Fine Arts Museum, St. Joseph’s Oratory, Botanical Gardens, the Olympic Stadium, and Notre Dame Basilica of Montreal are all close to the hotel.
Booking a room here is simple and the staff here is friendly, welcoming, and ready to roll out the red carpet for the future guests of the Hotel Omni Mont-Royal.
