This family-run B&B is in a glorious location with unbroken views across the Coquet Valley to the majestic Simonside Hills beyond. Situated at the end of a private lane at the very edge of the village of Thropton, this 200 year old former farmhouse offers you the best in Northumbrian hospitality, a relaxed atmosphere and a location from which to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of Coquetdale and the Northumberland National Park. Enjoy a full English breakfast or a continental buffet with fresh fruit, cold meats, cheeses and yoghurts accompanied by Pauline s home-made bread and marmalade, served in the conservatory with its stunning views across the garden to the hills bathed in early morning light. And at the end of a busy day, relax in the garden or the guests lounge with a glass of wine. Early mornings often bring the family of roe deer who live in the wood below us into the field, our garden and even the car park (See photos).
