Pros: "Coming from Europe Alitalia and Delta did an EXCELLENT job at assisting the passengers get rid of their luggage just as soon as we were done going through customs... I don't usually fly on this route, but I thought it was perfect. Transfer between Delta terminal was a breeze too..."
Cons: "I usually don't fly from JFK. The food court was expensive (18 dollars base price from a burger seems a high even for an airport. I don't fly from NY normally - so maybe I need to tune my expectation for the locale, and it may have NOTHING to do with the airline company."

Water was free, but would only give you small amounts and was very infrequent. Waiting in the queue to check luggage took over an hour. There were only a few attendants, and at one point all attendants left except for the one that was checking in flight attendants. Awful."

Cons: "Getting to our connection was awful. Prescreening getting into the US was terrible. Got selected for special screening and the officers said the gate knew we were held up there. Only had one hour to reach connection. Lost an immense amount of time getting swabbed and patted down. The gate was closed when we arrived. Had to run to the gate. By accident we found out the gate was closed from someone who happened to hear word that we were looking for the gate to JFK. Almost didn’t get on the flight. If we didn’t run who knows if we would have made it. If you are only giving people an hour to get to their connection, then don’t let them get held up for 40 minutes. It’s idiotic."

Cons: "Online check in does not work, ever. Late boarding all 4 flights inconvenient access to boarding pass. Was required to stand in line for 30 minutes to get boarding pass for connection instead of getting boarding pass when I left. Also, no kiosk to get it myself. Just about missed my connection do to these delays. No one is in a hurry at this airline"
Pros: "When I think of international, I think of the huge airplane with 3 rows of seating, an extra inch of leg space for us economy flyers ...this was basically a domestic airplane and the staff was polite but nothing over the top."

Cons: "The flight was delayed by an hour, meaning we arrived at almost midnight and for me and a few other people their electronic boarding passes did not work properly I was refused at the departures gate and told to go to the British airways counter to get a paper boarding pass printed out. I also saw some other people with British airways electronic boarding passes having similar problems."

Cons: "Once we got off the plane we had to go through security again and then rush through customs to get to our connecting flight. Customs agents wanted us to have our landing cards filled out before we got there but the crew on flight didn’t give passengers landing cards to fill out prior to landing and customs didn’t even have pens for us to fill our our forms. Super unhelpful and rude. Then our flight was delayed two hours which caused us to miss the train we needed out of the airport to West Jesmond. Thus forcing us to take a cab that was horrifically expensive. Super bummed on heathrow and British airlines. Would not travel through heathrow again."

Pros: "Airlines have no respect for customers anymore, planes are big buses with uncomfortable seating and little more. They nickel and dime you and punish you when you don't want to leave your salary with them."
Cons: "Get rid of the caste system you have imposed and all the fees you want to charge for everything. More room for real people, not seating for leprechauns. Better boarding procedures. Pretty much everything could be better but they have no interest in making it better just charg as much as they can."

What seemed like a great deal – $475 USD for an off-peak round trip, LAX-LON-LAX, booked two months in advance – was not much cheaper, once I paid seat assignments and, new one on me, +$100 to check one non-cabin-sized bag each way."
Cons: "Please, don't bait and switch British Airways for American Airlines. I chose to fly BA for a reason, but outbound was AA. I know it's a tough job, tending to 300+ passengers on any trans-Atlantic flight, but AA comfort and courtesy were lacking. It was a different story flying home on my BA 747."
