The crew were efficient. The pilots seemed professional. It was a bit chilly in our seats. The sheet provided weren’t very helpful.
The Boarding process was great. Particularly since my wife and I require assistance. The flight attendants were amazing. We travel frequently; they honestly were a cut above. 😀
Plenty of leg room, temperature was great and staff was excellent. Would do it more often.
Passengers need to check in big baggage instead of bringing on the plane. That cause inconvenience for everyone. Otherwise flight was good.
Great. Very smooth. Plenty of information. However, wish they would give out a menu in advance of making a dinner choice like other international airlines. The flight attendant says chicken or pasta and there are details about ingredients or spices requiring the passenger to ask which requires the flight attendant to answer many times. So easy to solve this problem. P
All fine save for the abominable catering. Really gone downhill. We found it all inedible.
Late flight caused a missed connection, had to be put on a later international flight without my requested vegan meal.
Half the bathrooms assigned to economy were out of action
The crew members were great. The food was good. Entertainment was average - Could use a wider and better selections of movies and series.
Flight was cancelled after 3 1/2 hours. Support for rebooking was overwhelmed. Lost first class tickets and to fly economy.
Selection of movies didn't include recent box office hits. Food was average not great. English sparkling wine is not drinkable. Otherwise, everything was great.
Check in at the desk was very slow pus Security, although not Virgin issue at JFK was a nightmare. 50 minuet wait no time to explore airport and get last minuet gifts. total wait 1.5hours

Overall, flight was excellent but check in was very slow for Premium Economy. Economy queue was shorter but we weren't allowed to use it.
The crew was excellent as ever on Virgin. The special meal was poor unfortunately. More significantly when we arrived at Manchester Airport there was no air bridge provided and we had to exit the plane down a rickety stair case. This is unacceptable for a transatlantic flight. Whilst I understand that this is the airport’s fault at the end of the day the airline is responsible for our transportation and needs to do something.

Good overall. Cannot fault the airlines. I have had better entertainment systems before ie ice in Emirates but it was not too bad. Food was decent and staff were friendly.
Miami airport needs more thorough signage. It was a long walk from my transport point to the check in desk,
Flight took off an hour late. Had to stay on the tarmac for half an hour after landing. Both annoying.
The flight from Dublin to London was short but they charged for any food or beverage. I have never paid for anything except alcohol on a flight before so imagine my shock at being charged nearly 4 pounds for a cup of tea. I once took an hour and a half flight (different airline) within South Africa and was served a complimentary dinner. It’s minor things like this that might make me hesitant to choose Aer Lingus over another similarly priced airline.
Excellent cabin crew. They helped a number of passengers with mobility challenges and a mother with a 3 year old and an infant. Better than most other airlines by far. Well done Eduardo!
Good, I slept the entire flight so I cannot add many inflight details
Air Lingus was in no hurry to get us on the plane as sat at the gate a long time before they boarded us. Then they leave us on the tarmac for an hour. They were no help to let me know what I needed to do to get home. I had to navigate London Heathrow with 0 help from them.
There was a 6h delay with limited updates . When we got to Manchester the bus took ages to get to arrivals and we missed our train, dinner reservation. Basically lost a whole day due to arrivals Lingus!!
Great. Has a problem with DOB. Fixed 4 us. Led to a 5 hour earlier flight to London!
My flights with Aer Lingus were very good and I will definitely fly with them. Again in future trips to Ireland and Scotland.
Amenity kits were never handed out. There was zero friendliness and assistance by crew. Food was uneatable. One drink was offered and no wine, with dinner or before or after. Cocktails and beverages were not encouraged and when I asked for water, none was given. Poorest, most cramped business class flight I’ve ever been on.
I fly to the USA every 6wks on Ave and 99% of the time I fly Aer Lingus. If I fly BA I’m always disappointed. My only criticism is the food. I’m vegan and over the last year it’s got slightly better these last couple of flights but on the whole it’s not good! Salad and fruit salad for breakfast and that’s also the starter and desert for the lunch/dinner and the main is usually rice with fried veg 😳the pasta is pretty good though. That’s been the last 2 meals…. Everything else is fantastic.
The flight was half full and I presume that the next few days are even less busy not sure why they are still charging a premium to change a flight.
Seats were the worst i ever experienced — narrow, hard, no leg room and a long flight
In premium economy I was expecting a bit cleaner area. Tables were not very clean. Only one of us received a blanket and pillow. The food was okay. Probably a smidgen better than coach. The crew were very nice but should have done more walk through to at least pick up trash.
After boarding, the AC was shut off on the flight. At business class, I really could not breathe. I was absolutely dripping sweat. I was told by the FA that there was nothing they could do but I could stand by the door until departure. So, that's what I did. I was clearly in the way while the FAs were trying to do their work, but I had to be able to breathe. After that, of course, I had sweated up a lot so was very uncomfortable for the six hour flight.
British Airways canceled our original flight and rebooked us on Air Canada one day later. As a result, we lost one day of our Geneva trip and incurred financial losses for a prepaid hotel night and a day trip that we were unable to use.
Comfort in premium economy is worth it for long hauls especially on the 787-9P Dreamliner with the modern updates. The food was okay. All 4 of us selected the same meal, 2 of us had very dry hard to cut chicken, the other 2 were tender and good. The sides/salad/dessert all very good as far as airline food goes. Crew were very attentive. Will be hard to ever go back to regular economy!
Crew was great! Food sub-bar, tepid & flavorless. No snack options on trans-atlantic flight. Premium Economy seats ok, leg rest wouldn’t stay in place.
Entertainment system did not function. USB ports did not function. Wi-Fi did not function. Terrible trifecta…
Luggage did not make it onto my plane. Business seats were economy with empty row seat. Just horrible experience. Why would the company allow for transfers that don’t give employees enough time to transfer luggages??
For an long range economy flight I feel more space and more meal options need to be offered for flights over 5 hours

Boarding was seamless, crew were great. Less disruptions on the night flight would have improved the experience and turning off lights earlier.
My bags were lost. I waited in a line for 5 hours after I landed and got no resolution to the issue.
Easily one of the best flights I’ve ever taken. Worth it to upgrade slightly. Crew was phenomenal. Just wish the man sat next to me kept his shoes on. There should be a rule about that. But I wish I could take every flight with BA.

Boarding from the SFO lounge is a big improvement. Although the first class dining room inside the lounge is becoming very crowded.
we originally had premium economy seats when we booked, but because we were forced to re-book because the first leg of our journey was delayed for several hours, we had to fly economy. Less room, less comfortable.
Flight was fine. We were in business class, so lie-flat seats were appreciated. Kids were in premium and said it was nice. Flight was delayed by 3 hours, so we missed everything we had planned in London the first day.
Spent unnecessary hours on phone calls to resolve small error on one of the passengers name... It was extremely stressful and time consuming... Not great... Also all 4 members of the family: 2 parents/ 2 teenagers were allocated separate seats (even separate floors... Not great...
Comfortable seats, good service overall. The food could’ve been a little bit better. The boarding process was slightly chaotic and in fairness, not all of that is related to the performance of British Airways.
