Pros: Nice hotel very well located. The staff is very friendly. The room is well furnished and the breakfast is also very good!
Pros: Worst hotel to ever stay. This hotel is in middle of nowhere... The Hotel staff told me if I write a review on booking.com there lawyer will sue me.
Cons: Worst hotel to ever stay. This hotel is in middle of nowhere... The Hotel staff told me if I write a review on booking.com there lawyer will sue me. They have audacity to say that for writing my experience My reason of complain is that I paid for my room without getting keys and access to my room. The Hotel staff was very arrogant and they didn't even care. I arrived at hotel at 9 pm night and when I arrived the light was too low and I hardly could see any things.. Tired calling for help to get my room but no one came out then my friends who were staying there got me inside and we again banged few doors to get access to someone to get my room keys but no one came out. Then I managed to stay in my friends room as I couldn't go any where because hotel is in middle of nowhere.. I managed to borrow quilt for other room and pillow from my friend. When I kindly asked hotel staff they didn't even care and said I should have rang the bell or informed them. I told him show me the bell. Honestly in whole wild world if its that dark one can never identify if there is a worn out bell button. The day before my friends arrived at 10 pm and there keys we outside hanging but didn't get mine hanging outside. Even my friends complained its in middle of nowhere and did a big mistake booking it. I said I am booking.com genius member he said I don't care but just read the rules can you imagine he was so arrogant and they are in hospitality business. I got bit disappointed as he was not even ready to listen and charged me for full room without giving me the keys and rather than apologising he said if I write a review about my experience his lawyers will sue me. I have full right to write my review as I paid for it and one more thing he told my friends this guy expects same kind of treatment as you got.
Pros: WE went out of season , so everything was very quiet. However, the staff were very pleasant and the rooms was very clean and comfortable
Cons: WE ate in the restaurant and while there were no problems I did feel that for the price there could have been more food
Pros: We love everything!!! The friendly stuff, the clean and spacious room, the delicious food!!! Everything was very good!!!
Cons: The one and only negative thing about our stay was the internet connection. It was ok downstairs in the restaurant, but no connection at all in our room upstairs.

The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Planning an event in Morsbach? This hotel features 1938 square feet (180 square meters) of event facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Great breakfast. Loads of choices and very friendly staff.
Cons: Bathroom is a bit small.
Pros: Bed was perfect. Large windows showed a great view of village and hills. Room had a desk and a sitting area, much larger than my hotel in Cologne. Staff was super friendly and accomodating. Breakfast was over the top with eggs made to order, juice, coffee, cold meat and cheese tray, fruit bowl. bread basket. I would stay here again.
Pros: The hotel is located near a forest and a park with provides great recreational possibilities. The rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and try very hard to fulfill every need. The hotel has a very nice backyard with lots of trees and nice benches. Ideal to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning.
Cons: It was a little unfortunate that our dog was not allowed to use the backyard, despite the fact that the hotel is marked as pet friendly (which was the main criterion for my booking)
With a stay at Hotel Zum Weissen Stein in Kirchen, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Rathaus Siegen and Upper Castle. Featured amenities include luggage storage, laundry facilities, and a safe deposit box at the front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: - Cozy alpine-style hotel with very good staff. - First I’ve got a room with an unsightly back yard view, but a reception girl changed it with no dispute and then I have a got a room with one of the best views I have ever seen. Double room with large full wall window on the 2nd floor could be enough reason to visit this hotel and Kirchen area also :-) - Room furniture is nice and everything is very clean. - I want to note separately the restaurant staff. There was not a problem for them that I wanted to get a breakfast in time when the meals are officially closed. For modest price I’ve got a perfect meal for late day start. The service level is really high.
Cons: - Hard to find. May be the only problem can be that there is no elevator and you have to haul your baggage by stairs.
Pros: Overall it was very good.
Cons: I paid in advance using PayPal on booking.com. But during checking out the hotel staff told me that they didn't receive anything and that i had to pay. This was very strange as I did pay. So after seeing the confirmation email from booking.com I was able to leave the hotel. But this was a very strange situation and felt not comfortable. For me but also for the nice girl behind the desk. But the Hotel is nice and diner good!
Pros: The room was recently renovated and had a beautiful sit-down area by the window.
Pros: Everyone was very friendly, location is so authentic and quiet and this old authentic hotel is clean with a lot of character
Pros: Nice small pond with the fishes in front of the hotel.
Pros: Breakfast was traditional continental buffet style, cold meats cheeses, and eggs. everything was very fresh, and bread rolls to die for. Staff were very nice and most spoke good English, better than my German. nice surrounding, beautiful scenery, but be aware, there is a farm next door, if you don't like the smell of the country. the restaurant was very nice, limited menu, but that in my eyes is a good thing, should mean everything is fresh, every meal we had certainly was.
Cons: WiFi, certainly in my room was next to useless, if you need WiFi for business, make sure you are close to the router. The bed was hard but strangely comfortable, towels were small and hard, and again no extractor fan in the bathroom! No tea or coffee making facilities in the room, I didn't even see anywhere in the main hotel, or restaurant, where you could help yourself. Not a lot in the immediate vicinity.
Pros: Really comfortable stay with kind and professional personal.
Pros: An excellent family run hotel with a long tradition.

Pros: Friendly staff
Pros: clean and comfortable rooms with basic breakfast offerings
Cons: lights issue in men's wc downstairs, somewhat desolate on the Monday evening
Pros: Extremely friendly and attentive staff. Amazing food.
Pros: The breakfast was reasonably good, though I would have liked it more had they included some fresh fruits.
Cons: Hotel.com had this hotel listed as 4 star. We paid for a 4 star hotel, but it has none of the amenities of a 4 star hotel. For the 2 days I stayed there, I was provided a single bottle of drinking water, no coffee or tea or hot water heater, no refrigerator in the bedroom. There is one soft pillow and one set of towels and no room service even though I hung the sign out requesting room cleaning. Also we were not told that the Monday evening before the holiday on Tuesday that the hotel restaurant would be closed.
Pros: Bed good, breakfast was good. Meals in the restuarant good
Cons: No bar fridge in the room. Weather was very hot with no airconditioning
Cons: Room was set up for 1. person so we had to get it made up for 2
Pros: Great location, good parking, great staff
Cons: Room is basic, and bedding terrible. Also shower is horrendous - at the same setting one second it’s scolding, the next freezing
Pros: Excellent restaurant
Cons: Weak WiFi signal in the hotel room
Pros: Dinner in the hotel restaurant was a surprisingly pleasurable experience.
Cons: Reception is staffed only part of the time.
Located in Freudenberg, Waldhotel Wilhelmshöhe is in a rural location, within a 5-minute drive of Technikmuseum and Freudenberg South Westphalian Open-Air Stage. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, multilingual staff, and luggage storage. Planning an event in Freudenberg? This hotel features 796 square feet (74 square meters) of event facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Location and staff
Cons: No Coffee facilities in the room After a day on the road and turning up late all i wanted was a cup of coffee ....but no facilities to get one
Pros: A nice charming place. The restaurant food was fantastic!! The staff and owner was one of the friendliest ever - Germany isn’t known as the most customer friendly country but they know the concept of not saying “no”. I asked for a few things with my meal and they were very happy to appease - if you like spicy food, ask for the hot gravy sauce with your steak - EXCELLENT. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. Will definitely go back.
Cons: Every was EXCELLENT!
Pros: Clean room, nice wooded area yet close to major roads. Friendly staff.
Cons: Very basic room, small. Should be cheaper.
Pros: Staff super friendly. Clean rooms
Cons: Restuarant was closed at 9 pm. Staff got me a snack which I appreciated
Pros: This hotel is extremely well located in proximity to the main east / west motorway route. The setting is lovely in the woods away from the traffic. The Waldhotel offers very good value for money, is clean, if offering fairly basic accommodation. It is also extraordinarily dog, friendly, although some guests may not appreciate being surrounded by canines in the dining room at breakfast. This visit we stayed in a refurbished room upstairs (as opposed to downstairs with direct access to the car park at Christmas time), which was small, but adequate.
Cons: Dinner choice is limited, although breakfast is very good at this price level. Fortunately it wasn't hot as the windows only tilt inwards and there is no air conditioning.
Pros: I like this hotel very much!!! The staff ,the food , and the rooms , and the location of this hotel-quiet and very close to the motorway so I do not loosing my time-for me excellent!!!
Cons: Everything was perfect!!!!!!!!!
Pros: The evening meal was superb
Pros: The staff were the friendliest and most helpful that we have found in any European hotel. By German standards, Waldhotel offers excellent value for money, both in terms of accommodation and restaurant food. Breakfast, included in the room rate, is very good Indeed, a wide ranging continental selection - and eggs and bacon cooked fresh to order too The wooded environment in which it is set is lovely and particularly appreciated by the dog owners who are made so welcome here. This hotel is fantastically convenient for the main E40 European highway, just two minutes off the route, yet far enough away from it to be very quiet Indeed at night. Very convenient parking is plentifully available, we had a room (102) with a door leading onto a terrace with direct access to the car park, making loading / unloading particularly convenient after a long drive.
Cons: There were three inoperative lights in our room, including the one over the bathroom mirror. There was also a rather large cobweb hanging down over the bed. There was no kettle in the room and our request to borrow one was declined.
With a stay at Siegerlandhotel Haus im Walde in Freudenberg, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Freudenberg South Westphalian Open-Air Stage and Technikmuseum. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Cheap, nice surroundings, polite staff.
Cons: Nothing comes to mind.
Pros: Nice setting in woodland and we were looked after by a nice young lady
Cons: A bit out in the middle of nowhere
Pros: The location and the 70’s look to the place. It’s a little like going back in time to that romantic weekend when your parents conceived you.
Cons: It reminded us of the shining.
Pros: Good breakfast and meal opportunities.
Cons: Rooms are a bit out dated.
Pros: Scenic forest location! While some say it looks outdated, I believe this gives it a charm of times past. The breakfast was good, and there was a free sauna! (requiring a reservation) The walk to town is pretty easy, and quicker than you'd think. Wifi was weak and mobile internet often had no signal, but I felt it was a nice disconnect from always being online :)
Cons: The front desk has no phone, which made it impossible to contact them prior to our arrival. On Booking breakfast is automatically included, but at the accomodation it seems possible to book without breakfast for less. When taking the forest road from town to the hotel at night, there is no light whatsoever. Not a problem for me, but I can imagine for a single woman it might be. Also bring your phone or a light, to not trip over branches.
Pros: Nice and capacious room. Clean and comfy.
Cons: There are few parking spaces at the free car parki.
Pros: What a gem. Tucked away in forested area very quiet and peaceful. Great breakfast included and excellent value meals at other times. We were given the use of a garage to store our bikes. Would definitely return.
Cons: The driveway up to the hotel needs a little improvement and its a little tricky to locate but definitely worth it when you get there.
Cons: Spiders net’s in the room. Room design like in 90s in east europe. It was hard to find a receptionist
Pros: Beautiful quiet location in the forest located on a hill over the city center, excellent breakfast.
Cons: The internet failed in the morning, hopefully that is not a common occurrence.
Pros: Great location in a beautiful historic town, welcoming personnel, clean rooms
