Pros: big dining room with clean and convenient kitchen. it's really a great option for family with kids like our family. It is not too far from Ski school and bus stop is in front of the house.
Cons: Luggage room is quite small.

Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable, clean and best of all - gracious hosts. The communal living space and kitchen is excellent
4.5 Okay
Pros: Very clean.
Cons: Wrong pricing was given and paid over booking.com at first, nothing was mentioned by owner during check-in. Upon our return to the hotel, the luggages (which were previously placed in luggage deposit area) were held back at the hotel counter and demanded for the extra payment. We were OK to pay extra, but we were being treated extremely badly! The kids were using the toilet and were being despite at for using it. We had to be sort out this matter at outdoor that is in - 3c! The kids were shiver in cold cos their shoes were wet during snow play. The owners had the gut of telling us so sorry to see u guys have to go through this, and collected payment from us. It is obviously hypocrite! Yes we are Asian, but doesn't mean we deserve to be treated as such - obvious racial discrimination. On the first day, everything was good until we check out, the friendly face has changed to devil the moment we checked out and no longer legally "rented" the place. We could have leave Mt Buller with a warm heart and a great experience if not for this. Pls note that bed linen and towels are at extra charged and you need to put up your own bed sheet.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: From the friendliness to cleanliness our stay exceeded our expectations, it was beyond any hostel we have ever stayed at and the facilities are fantastic. it was everything and more thank you for a lovely stay in Mt Buller!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place is sparkling clean! Compared to the place I stayed last year at Mt Buller, I was above the heaven! The modern kitchen provides everything you need! The large opening living area provides everyone, include the young ones and the ones young in heart, a spacious spot to relax, chat and have fun! The most importantly, the owners are super friendly and helpful with all information you need at Mt Buller!

Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good value for money. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Location was good.
Cons: Bunk beds too old and squeaky. Noise from next door is too loud.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The manager on duty were excellent, efficient, and friendly. Generous common hall space with plenty of storage for everyone food (fridge & cupboard). Well labelled. Room has big in-built storages. Good to pack away bags away from sight. Big kitchen that can accommodate everyone. Relaxing dinner in common area.
Cons: Since this is a lodge, everyone has to mind not to interrupt other guests. A bit too hot maybe (Generous radiator throughout the lodge). Make sure slightly open the window to allow cool air.
6.3 Good
Pros: Comfortable
Cons: The photos of rooms did not reflect the actual size - we were a family of four and were allocated a tiny tiny room (Room 9) when there was a room next door that was much bigger that was unoccupied for second two nights of our stay. We booked a few months in advance so was surprised we couldn’t be allocated a larger room.
7.5 Good
Pros: easy and comfortable
Cons: some noisy neighbours
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good accommodation perfect for short term stay. The kitchen is well equipped albeit a little hectic at dinner time. Good amount of space to store luggage and food items. Right near two bus stops to get to town. Breakfast is good. Kids loved the pancake maker.
Cons: No freezer. No ice for drinks.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic customer service, rooms were super clean!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The managers were great. Breakfast was good. Loved the coffee pods and kids loved tge pancake machine. Kitcgen facilities were great.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: The heritage
Cons: Starting to date a bit
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Location was good
Cons: Paid 1600 for a small/old room for 2 nights. Leaking bathroom roof - trying to have a nice romantic soak in the spa bath and was being dripped on by freezing cold water - relaxing! Was kept awake by an ancient fridge in the room that sounded like a tank! And the mattress and headboard had such a big gap our pillows kept disappearing down the space throughout the night. Absolutely disgusting quality for the price of the stay! No one tells you that you can’t drive to the hotel to even drop your bags off...again just another money making opportunity - so you have to pay for a taxi from the car park. The alpine dollar strikes again!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location and Facilities are very good. The drying room is super helpful. Started with warm and dry boots, jackets and gloves every day.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms are really spacious. The whole place has such a wonderful old worldly charm and they are rightfully proud of their history. The facilities, such as the drying room and ski locker make sure everything is warm and dry for the following day. Kaptans Restaurant is really good for dinner, so check it out. The location is suburb with only a short walk to the ski runs and lifts. This hotel was a really pleasant surprise and we can't wait to go back.
Cons: My only criticism was that the rooms were a bit too warm and there wasn't any way to turn down the heat. However, opening the window for some fresh air cooled things down.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Our room was so inviting and comfortable, perfect for our romantic weekend away. The bed was super comfortable, everything was extremely clean and tidy. The hotel was so nice and warm, the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating.
Cons: It was a little too hot in our room but we opened up the window and it was perfect.
7.5 Good
Pros: Could not beat the location. Kaptan’s restaurant was excellent. Hotel had a fun European ski lodge feel.
Cons: Prices are very high for what’s a 3 star room - but you get the great location for skiing.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: everything
Cons: Not much
5.5 Okay
Pros: Location great, ski hire staff very helpful and attentive.
Cons: Room was leaking enormous amounts of water through windows when it started raining on saturday which lasted the whole day the carpet & floor became saturated which lead to all our 4 childrens socks becoming wet . The staff kept coming up to clean up the water on the ground and carpet which was good however this made it quite intrusive as we felt people were in our apartment all day and even up until 8 pm at night which was not ideal having four young children in the bath and then in pygamas. The exhaust fan in the bathroom is connected to the light and is very loud which wakes you continually during the night when someone goes to the toilet extremely annoying and disruptive sounds like plane overhad . I opened the stove door to place pasta in the oven only to have the oven pull out of the bench . One of the pots was faulty with a dodgy handle which was very dangerous as my son was heating up water for rice when i noticed the handle just clinging onto the pot if carrying this with boiling water it could come off the pot causing ? I left that pot out of the cupboard and marked it faulty for staff to replace. The restaurants prices did not reflect the quality or amount of food served we found it overpriced and somewhat underwhelming . We only ate there once but were intending to eat there everyday as it was convenient for our family. There is also a note that states the kitchen must be cleaned and left as we found it or a $ 400 fee is charged this annoyed the hell out of me because I paid $6500 for 3 nights which I assumed included cleaning . The cost of this room should have included breakfast but it didn't . Whilst we received a bottle of wine and chocolates as well as apologies from the owner for our trouble regarding the room we were quite annoyed that we spent considerable time sorting the issues out in this room not to mention $ 6500 for the 3 nights which we were happy to pay for a luxury get away .
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Being first time skiing it had great access to a ski shop, ski school, and ski lifts. Also the building was homely with a guess lounge and library area overlooking the ski slope if you want a break from skiing.
Cons: The only improvement would to upgrade the bed linen and covers. The doona's were uneven and dated.
Gliss Ski Club - Mount Buller - Bedroom
4
8.8 Excellent (39 reviews)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. Best place I've ever stayed for a holiday!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The external wall against the bunk bed was damp on the mattress and made the linen damp and the bunks were fairly firm. The lodge manager was AMAZING. So Helpful. Made the stay fun
Cons: The booking was made for my son to participate in School snowsports, unfortunately a fortnight after the booking Tania called me to advise that, although we had booked Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, we couldn't actually have the Friday night that we had booked. Given that my son was competing on the Saturday and we could no longer get accomodation ANYWHERE else, I thought it was fairly poor. She advised that she had cancelled the Friday and didn't really offer any solution. Even though she gave us the Tuesday, there was no refund offered and we were left without accomodation on the Friday. Really poor management. Oh,and while I was trying to find accomodation for the Friday, Saturday night, I notice that if I had of booked through WOTIF website it states "Breakfast Included"
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Manager Jason was amazing. Everything was spotless and clean. Great value for money & great overall experience. WILL. STAY. AGAIN.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean modern bathroom, value for money and well heated.
Cons: Check-in procedure not clear, made to feel uneasy on arrival, made us reluctant to use facilities.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The price was terrific and the facilities were more than adequate. The kitchen was well equipped, the lounge was comfortable, and the views are terrific.
Cons: The bed space could have been slightly wider. But that’s nittiest of nit-picks. Really, for the price, I couldn’t fault it.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: I was not happy with room as things did not work ! It also was so difficult to access room as snow was built up and very slippery near doorways
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice humorous and friendly staff
Cons: The entrance is a bit difficult because i had to get through icy slopes to get to the back door in dark.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Jazon was the best manager I've met so far along the thousands lodges. And all housemate there, David, Rocky No.1, Rocky No. 2 and an anonymous Irish guy(sorry, forgot his name)~~~, were fantastic snow sport's buddies. Absolutely will be back every single snow season. Gliss is my only choice in Mt. Buller.
Cons: Laundry facility needs to provided.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Close location on the mountain, very friendly host and great welcoming lodge.
Cons: Nothing all positives
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The lodge was well located and not far from the town. The place was very clean and organised. The people were mainly lodge members and they were friendly and helpful.
Cons: There was nothing worth complaining about. It exceeded my expectations

Cons: all good. nothing to dislike.
4.5 Okay
Pros: Nice place, hosts were very nice and friendly, room spacious Beds little uncomfortable, bathroom not cleaned but when we Advised it was cleaned straight away. Would differently stay again
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location was close to village centre, 3 min walk to shops , restaurant, and ski facilities
4.5 Okay
Cons: The family room is too small. The toilet is just close the bed. We need to walk through the other bedroom to go to the toilet. There are lot of noisy from the aisle. The breakfast is just some toasts. For 1570+ AUD 2 night it is not good value for money
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The property is just a stroll away from the village. Staff were very welcoming and helpful ! Great views from the windows too !!!
Cons: Could’ve been a bit cleaner. We stayed with another family. The bathroom was attached to one room instead of a common one. It was a bit inconvenient.

With a stay at Breathtaker Hotel and Spa, Mt. Buller in Mount Buller, you'll be near ski lifts, within a 10-minute drive of Mount Buller Peak and Village Center. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, luggage storage, and laundry facilities.
6.8 Good
Pros: We liked the location and the staff. Food and drinks were good.
Cons: The size of the rooms was teeny tiny. The family plunge pool was only luke warm - would be better if there were a family jacuzzi for aprés ski. Would have liked a 2:30 or 3 p.m. shuttle down the mountain on the last 1/2 day there instead of a 4 p.m.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location, facilities, breakfast and importantly cleanliness
Cons: Generally our stay was very pleasant and comfortable, the only negative was the room was small for 2.5 ppl, but given we only stayed 2 nights it was livable.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The rack and the wardrobe heaters worked out great for our wet outfits though. Ellen was friendly. She offered herself to snap us some photo duting breakfast. We appreciated that.
Cons: No lift to the room floors. It is not good for a person with asthma like me or the disabled or elderly. The breakfast had a small spread and we were served the same food everday. We stayed at room 405 for 4 nights feel bored to have the same breakfast everyday. Should have at least one asian breakfast dish on the buffet like chinese congee . The danish pastries were not baked well enough. I can taste the uncooked dough when l had the bite and l straight away throw it out. Dinner menu was not attractive too. Not much choices to choice from. We were just lucky that the village do have a supermarket with lots of ready to eat packed food for our lunch and dinner. So for the whole 5 days of our stay we just had packed food for lunch and dinner. Not worth the money we paid for which was quite expensive A$525 per night. We dont mind paying more if it's worth. We wont be coming back there anymore.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff went above and beyond to help when no taxi came
Cons: Couldn’t turn off fire in lounge

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location - near ski school and beginner chair lifts. Below snowline transfer was excellent. Saves driving up the mountain and using chains yourself. The Loft bar and Signature breakfast buffet food was excellent.
Cons: Bedrooms are small, not a lot of room to move around. Expected them to be larger for the price.
5.5 Okay
Pros: The spa, pool and bar were nice at the end of a long day of skiing and the transfer service was good. Most staff were very nice. The breakfast was good.
Cons: Our room was tiny, the phone didn’t work, the internet was out for our entire stay, random things in the hotel didn’t work (shower doors, taps etc), the food was very expensive and not all that nice. Over all not exactly everything we were hoping for based on the expensive price we payed.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Comfy beds and general facilities. Ski Storage room is good. Location is great, no need to walk anywhere. Management were great
Cons: Needs Shelves in the rooms as there is nowhere to hang or put your stuff. LIghting was done by a drunken architect. Drying room needs a dehumidifier to work properly
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good location in village. Nice hotelmanager Stuart. Delicious diner (feed me menu with surprise courses: we had a superb huge tomahawk steak for four!
Cons: The family lounge was not warm enough. We were there in very bad weather, so after skiing I would have liked to warm up quickly.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location fabulous, managers more than helpful, great lounge/tv room. Nice restaurant.
Cons: Noisy in rooms, needs insulation
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very hospitable and convenient
5.8 Okay
Pros: Great location , has separate drying room for the ski clothes
Cons: I booked in for 2 adults $ 500 per night. When I saw the room can fit in for 4 ppl, I brought 2 kids with us. One the day for checking in, the owner charged us $600 extra because we bought 2 kids for the same room and he said we didn’t not read the policy clearly on booking.com. The room is tiny. It’s like backpacker’s room with only toilet paper and towel. Not worth $800 AUD per night. Will not staying there again for $ 800 a night.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Pricey
7.5 Good
Pros: Great position. Beautiful views
Cons: The bathroom especially needed maintenance. The bath had sunk and the tiles were really decrepit. When you are paying in excess of $500 per night there is certainly a standard to maintain.
6.3 Good
Pros: Great location
Cons: Very noisy room with water noises all night long
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location!!!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The wood fireplace in the living room was a hit. The trip was so much more enjoyable with the fireplace. Surrounded view was also very nice. This hotel room was possible one of the cleanest one me and my family has been to. We were very impressed. The staffs were so nice so helpful. There are two restaurants situated on third and fourth floor with BUBBLE TEA. One extra bonus point was the gym and swimming pool area. Salt water swimming pool on the mountain who would have thought of that. Simply brilliant to every details.
Cons: The hotel didn't provide hotel slipped on (flip flop) which would have been nice since you will be wearing thick boots and wool sock all days. The mattresses were too old and small. Twin single beds were so uncomfortable to sleep on. All the wires outside kept smacking onto the window due the winds. So the twin bedroom wouldnt be the best place to sleep in a windy rainy days.
7.5 Good
Pros: The location was perfect. Easy acess to the village.
Cons: A little bit expensive.
7.5 Good
Pros: Love the location.
Cons: Didn’t like the CR and the lighting.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Extremely good location, nice pool
Cons: Needs a better place to get breakfast with the family
7.5 Good
Pros: The location is great for snow play and skiing
5.0 Okay
Cons: I can't believe that after paying 1k per one night they managed to cheap out on an ashtray where they left us a beer bottle in the balcony. We also were unable to close the balcony door properly which caused me to catch a cold as it was a windy night. Also, the shower was awkwardly positioned and it was really difficult to take a shower. The check in was at 4pm for some reason and checkout was at 10am!! The wifi is only from 8am to 8pm which made us feel like if we were at an elementary school and not in a hotel that we paid 1k per night :) and the breakfast should've been included but then they asked for $25 per person.

Cons: The customer service experience wasn’t as good as expected from a tourist destination, the breakfast (said continental) was really small with not many options and when asked one of the staff member if that was the breakfast she straight away said ‘it is how we advertise it and in the email confirmation, if you not happy there are other places around’. Don’t get me wrong, the place is good but if they change the offering and start putting a smile on their faces they would keep more business.
9.3 Excellent

Cons: There’s nothing That I didn’t like about the property Perfect Will return again soon one day
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location OK. Pleasant staff at front desk. Clean and modern.
Cons: Over zealous security on internal access doors, . Miserable breakfast. Expensive room rate would have expected internet included. Annoying power saving short duration lights in public areas including toilets.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The views from the two rooms I stayed in were spectacular - I could see the dawn colour the snow pink and in the evening the sunset colour the snow gold. The restaurant was superb.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Food at dinner was excellent. Breakfast was basic but sufficient. Room was large & well heated.
Cons: The small shower head in the bathroom made it difficult to get thoroughly wet. Breakfast hours need to be extended

5.8 Okay
Pros: The rooms were nice and clean
Cons: There was no where to change before or after you had checked in. Access to a shower before driving home would have been amazing.
