The foyer was fine and clean when you walked in. Staff was just okay not overly helpful. The room was just okay, the bed was comfortable but that was about all that was good.
Bathroom was not clean looking (Not sure if it was). There was a hole in the wall near the bottom of the tub, the air conditioning made rattling noise when running, and the breakfast was horrible. I am used to staying at Fairfield across the road and the rooms are much nicer and the breakfast is good for the money. Both places hike up the fees for parents weekend and if they are going to charge more for the same room they should be sure the room is worth the price. I won't stay here again.
Not sure why they were accepting reservations. Parking lot full of old furniture and mattresses. Back door unlockrd at midnight. Anyone could walk in. Drilling going on in the am on both sides of room.
The staff was courteous and willing to go the distance to make sure our stay was pleasant. The location was great! the continental breakfast was a better than the norm, with hot bisquits and gravy, instead of the normal waffle thing. The hot oatmeal already prepared was nice. The maids ervice was thorough. Michael was very accommodating and guest oriented. Based on the reviews I read, I was expecting another nightmare like the one we had the week before at Howard Johnsons in Lakeland, Fla, but I was pleasantly surprised at this place. It was well worth the Money..
The place is undergoing renovations so we had to switch rooms a couple of time when we first got there, but it was not a big deal.
