Wvwn it is noisy, location is superb. Very nice sea and port view
Excellent location. Balcony a fab place for breakfast which was a buffet and very good.
The man at the front desk was one of the friendliest guys I've met in Greece. Really nice person and it seemed like he genuinely felt happy helping people out. I hope every hotel I stay at has someone like him. The cleaning people did a great job with the room. They kept it spotless. The location is fantastic - there's about 8 gazillion restaurants nearby as well as an awesome shopping district literally one street over. Plus it's only a 15 min walk to lots of historic sites. I especially loved the fortress castle on the coast, that thing is MASSIVE and it's only 2€ entrance fee. The little cafe/bar on the 1st floor is quite nice! It has a great port view and the staff there is super friendly with reasonably priced drinks.
Caveat - I only stayed there two nights and I didn't pay very much for my room as I'm on a budget, so my room was a tiny room on the inside of the hotel with only a single window that had a view of the wall of the next building and barely any sunlight. I'm sure the sea view rooms are a lot nicer, and I don't begrudge the view since I knew I was paying very little. However... the shower curtain fell down mid-shower, sending water everywhere in the bathroom. The floor, the wall, the toilet, everything nearby was soaked. I cleaned it up with the towel and then they fixed it for me the next morning, but it fell down again during the next night's shower! It was quite frustrating. If I had stayed a 3rd night I probably would have just purposefully knocked it down pre-shower so I didn't have to deal with the collapse mid-shower again. Also the air conditioning unit would randomly decide to make loud crackling noises in the middle of the night. It woke me up several times both nights. To add on to that, there's absolutely no insulation for the door, so you can hear EVERYTHING in the hallway crystal clear. Every door opening or closing, every person pulling luggage, every cough, sneeze, and conversation. If a good night's sleep is what you want after a day of sightseeing and drinking, this is not the hotel for you. Also, if I'm being honest, the lady that works the desk was a bit intimidating. She was nice most of the time, but it seemed like she lost her cool a bit with another pair of tourists at one point, and she also snapped at me once. I get it, service industry sucks and Greek people are naturally passionate and loud (which is awesome!). Maybe she was just having a bad day, happens to everyone. But I didn't feel comfortable going to her with requests after those initial interactions.
Very friendly staff and the personal touches of peach drink on arrival was lovely. Also a very nice breakfast.
Staff is friendly & helpful, location is perfect. Very good breakfast & fancy rooms.
I stayed on 1st floor. I don't like a/c so I had the windows open all night. Couldn't sleep even a bit :( also I am a solo traveller but i paid the same amount for 2 people
