4.8 Okay
Pros: The greeting from the front desk and their polite response regarding their apologies for their inability to resolve issues beyond their control.
Cons: The amount of wall photos in rooms that were tributes to Confederate fallen, None were tributes to Union fallen. The owners and management promote the proudness of their confederate heritage. There is a time and place for everything. Personal life should be separate from business. There was inadequate heating in the room. No maintenance person was available after hours and on the weekend. Space heater was issued to compensate that produced dry air making the nights sleep uncomfortable. Other rooms were available but were not offered. Probably because 95% of the room doors had a 1" gap underneath the doors and with an open atrium it probably is impossible to maintain stable heating for rooms with the gap under the doors. Once we placed a towel across the bottom of the door. The room stayed warm despite the 28 degree outside temperature.
6.0 Good
Pros: It was a good price for a suite. The hotel looks nice. It is designed with open corridors overlooking an indoor pool and the lobby. I think it is an okay value for a one night stay but doesn't offer much for visitors staying longer.
Cons: The furnishings are dated, especially the tvs. The staff is very limited and I didn't find them especially helpful. I chose the Wytestone for the suite, the price, and the heated pool. My grandson wanted the pool. After I checked in, I was told the pool wasn't open. I had reserved the room for 5 nights but after 3 nights and several inquiries, I was told the pool would not be open during my stay so I told the front desk I would be leaving a day early. There was no apology and little interest. When my room in another hotel was ready, I checked out of Wytestone and was charged almost another full night because it was 3:00. Even though I was leaving early because their pool wasn't working and I had told them the day before that I would be changing hotels. The hotel we moved to was wonderful and I'll stay there again next visit.
6.8 Good
Pros: The hotel was in a convenient location for our visit to the area to see family.
Cons: We were booked for two nights. When we checked in Friday night I pushed the door to our room open as I inserted the key card -- it wasn't latched right. When we returned to our room on Saturday night, the same thing happened -- housekeeping didn't close the door so the latch would engage, leavin our room unsecured. The hotel air conditioning failed sometime on Saturday, so by Sunday morning it was 78 in our room. The desk clerk offered apologies but no adjustments for the problems.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Hotel was under major construction and was a complete mess. Dust everywhere wires running down the halls. Would never stay there again. Mislead by photos online and it did not say hotel under construction. Want my money back!
5.4 Okay
Pros: Very convenient location (Starbucks, Chipotle, 1-95 right there) Suite style rooms Big atrium gives airiness to the public areas Very friendly woman at check in
Cons: Very overdue for a make-over, both in guest rooms and in public areas Makeover just begun when I stayed, May 2015; it holds promise but also means disruption and unattractive spaces for guests Will be affiliating with Comfort Inn; I'd stay there again after the transformation is complete but not before

Cons: Free Breakfast is adequate but not that good.
4.0 Okay
Cons: We were on the road for 10 hours and wanted to just get our room. Check in was at 3pm. We got there at 4pm and room wasn't ready. Said it was being inspected. Come back in 15 min. Came back, still not ready. Wasn't ready until 5pm. Should have looked else where. What can do you do about this? Might stay somewhere else next time!

7.7 Good
Pros: The location was relatively convenient to the locations we needed to visit.
Cons: The listing of TV channels in the room were almost completely wrong -- some of the channels weren't available, and almost none were available on the channel indicated. The only light in the bathroom had a switch on the outside, which meant it was impossible to turn on the light without waking anyone else in the room.

Pros: Modern, clean, comfortable. Very close to grocery store, shopping center, restaurants.

4.8 Okay
Cons: Upon arrival I was told I did not have a reservation. Despite showing front desk guy the confirmed reservation AND the charge from Best Western on my AmEx, he still was convinced I did not have a room. I ended up just paying to get a room so now I have paid twice for one night. The room was two twin beds as opposed to a single and there was some teenage party going on directly overhead. I would avoid this place.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Easy, quick access to I-95. About 12 minutes to downtown Fredericksburg, and 5 minutes to shopping center. Nice facilities with a pool.

Pros: This was a perfect stopping point from Orlando to New York. Room was clean, comfortable and close to places to grab a quick dinner. The complimentary breakfast was great! We make this trip often and have been searching for a 'regular' place to spend the night. This is it! Highly recommend to anyone including families. Fridge and microwave were clean and in working order. Beds were comfortable and pillows were great. Parking outside our room was a bonus. No need to haul luggage a long distance. Well lit parking. Wifi quick and reliable. I can't recommend this hotel enough. Another plus - NO BUGS!
Cons: No negatives here!

Pros: The hotel was clean, pleasant, light and airy. It felt like I was staying at a good place.  the housekeeping lady was very polite and professional.
Cons: I'm a local, and when I checked in the front desk clerk advised me that locals were no longer allowed to stay. It was the only down note on my visit. Made me feel a bit as if I were a partier, which was not my reason for staying.

7.0 Good
Pros: The breakfast.
Cons: The room and the hallway smelled a bit musty.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Pet friendly hotel. Rooms need to be designated for dogs/ pets. I personally don't wish to sleep in the same bed where a dog has slept I do t care how clean the pet owners keep their dogs: bottom line it's still a dog and it has gotten out of hand :(
9.0 Excellent
Cons: The amount of waste produced at breakfast. Styrofoam and plastic galore. No recycling bins anywhere.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and comfortable. You could eat off the floor. Superior service.
Cons: I liked everything.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: The staff was fantastic! All the staff we encountered were very friendly. The bed was comfortable and the whole hotel was very clean. I would definitely stay there again. It is located near downtown and central park is right there. More importantly it is right behind the best grocery store in the state, Wegman's. There was a small fridge in the room which was nice because then you can bring your own breakfast foods or store any food and drinks. It was nice to have access to a mini fridge that wasn't already stuffed with the expensive items from a mini bar that will never be eaten. The bed's firmness could be adjusted. The shower was nice and the towels were a great size, not had towel size! The staff was knowledgeable and answered any questions we had. And there were fresh cookies in the lobby.

Pros: The front desk staff was excellent!! There was a stained hand towel in our room and the staff compensated us with snacks from the store. That was very nice, considering I had a 10 year old and 5 teenagers with me.
Cons: The pool heater was not on, so the water was freezing. The mini fridge in the suite was literally a mini fridge wihout a freezer section.
