Really nice full English breakfast (weekends) and good continental spread other days, included in price. Cosy bar and internal pool available. Old manor house with extensions, with low beam ceilings in the original building. Plenty of free parking. Very comfortable place to stay. Really nice people.
Pros: Great location - easy access to M6 motorway and all major highways, but still in a small town/rural area. Really pretty location. Old world charm. GREAT people who could not have been more friendly or helpful. Well kept hotel, great bar/restaurant. Pool!
Cons: Nothing - great choice
On the outskirts of Alsager, the Best Western Plus Stoke on Trent Alsager Manor House Hotel stays impressively true to its quaint farmhouse heritage. As a base for touring the potteries and Cheshire, few hotels come close. and our reputation as a superb 'stop-over' is just as impressive. Business and leisure travelers will love our location, but everyone who stays here will benefit from charming public areas, fresh approach to customer service and welcoming atmosphere throughout. If you plan on dining with us during your stay we recommend booking a table prior to arrival as our restaurant is usually very busy. Ostler Restaurant closed December 23 to 28, 2017 inclusive, Stables Bar & Grill remains open. Restaurants closed on December 25 2017, however breakfast will be available.

Cons: Accommodation very tired, needs a good freshening up; breakfast not starting till 7.30 is late for business clients with 8am starts elsewhere; expensive when breakfast not included given the standard of the accommodation.
Pros: Spacious room with all you needed. The breakfast was very good except for the lack of marmalade and the a.m. service was helpful and friendly..
Cons: No staff on reception on arrival. When we found someone from the bar he was not very informative. Temperature was hot in some areas, cool in others.
Pros: Good basic hotel.
Pros: Clean room nice comfitable bed
Cons: Its getting ready for a bit of redecoration and no remote for the telly.
Pros: it was worth the money and the bar/restaurant was good
Pros: Good location, Big room, Good service from stuff
Cons: Coffe Corner not clean enough
Pros: The spacious room
Pros: We had a meal int he evening of our arrival in the restaurant next door which was good.
Cons: Breakfast the next morning unfortunately was not any good at all. We waited 40 minutes for our breakfast which was not cooked properly one of our group had raw eggs on their breakfast. Definately would not return to this hotel in future. Staff not pleasant at all. 5 staff in the morning were sitting around while 1 girl ran around like a headless chicken.
Cons: Waiting nearly 1 hour to book in
Pros: the staff were very friendly and the hotel was very easy to find.

Large hotel but doesn't feel impersonal. Good size family room for 4 with a double bed and bunk beds. Good buffet type breakfast replenished frequently. Very friendly efficient staff in all areas. Club Motivation a good size for a quick dip. Gym looked well equipped although we didn't use it. Changing rooms were a little basic. Good location. We visited Alton Towers and the Monkey Forrest plus a little bit of shopping at retail park close by. Also a cinema nearby. Would definitely stay again if in this area.
Pros: Staff very good. Room a good size. Public areas good. Swimming pool good feature apart from changing rooms.
Cons: Room a little dated especially the bathroom. Unable to turn air con off so fan on all night. Changing room in club motivation more like public leisure centre.

Pros: the hotel was not much, but thats what you get for such a cheap rate, but dont get me wrong, it is still alright for people who dont mind not having the usual hotel luxury
Cons: -not any that i can think of-
Pros: Nothing, I would definately not reccommend this hotel to anybody!
Cons: Charged us twice for rooms! Didn't sort this out until we threatened legal action! Very unwelcoming, blood stained walls, horribly dirty carpet, bedding, broken bathroom doorknob, window was broken, rooms were really hot and smelt like indian takeaway? Breakfast was horrible. Told us when we arrived at the hotel that we only had 8 rooms booked, after we left they charged our card for 10 rooms, whereas we only used 8! Yes, this is budget accommodation, but I didn't expect this budget, would have been better staying at a hostel!
Pros: The sheets were clean, and the water was hot. The staff were friendly.
Cons: Everything in the room looked "tired" and the room smelled of smoke. There was no plug in sink, the light over the mirror didn't work, and the toilet required 3 or 4 heavy pushes on the flush before anything happened. The windows were dripping with condensation. The bedspread looked very grubby. Our "continental" breakfast was a piece of soggy toast and a cup of tasteless coffee.
Cons: The hotel was dirty and in need of a serious refurbishment. In the lobby, there was a distinct smell of someone smoking drugs. There were several members of staff stood around here, but i would not like to speculate as to who was smoking. I would advise against staying here. I am a contractor, and this was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, with over 15 years experience of hotels.
Pros: Easy access for Trentham Gardens
Cons: The heat in the rooms was a little unbareable, the window was open but the noise of the traffic and trains meant the windows had to be closed during the night. The radiator was on a very hot temp in the hall outside our room. We did feel that the one part of the hotel looked a little fresher & newly decorated as it smelled very nice walking through the hall, but we were put into the older part of the building which I think until recently was the smoking rooms. This part was a little staler smelling and the doors were very old compared to the newly decorated part of the hotel. The hotel was not full at the time,so I wonder why we were not given rooms which had been decorated. On the whole it served our purpose as we were only there for a short stay to go to our daughters graduation
Pros: staff were freindly
Cons: condition of room
Pros: good clean atmosphere. hassle free.
Cons: very basic breakfast. no remote controls for tv.
Cons: No food available. A pity because the bar and dining are lovely and there are very few restaurants near by.
Pros: Not noisy.
