Opt for a Room on Higher Floors
Guests recommend choosing a room on higher floors for better views of the city and Newcastle Castle.
Consider Alternative Parking
Instead of parking at the Railway station car park, consider using alternative parking options nearby to save on costs.
Check Room Amenities
Some guests found the wet room and bathroom to be small, so it's advisable to check the room amenities and size before booking, especially if traveling with others.
Verify Breakfast Inclusions
Double-check the breakfast inclusions to avoid any confusion during check-in, as some guests thought they had already paid for breakfast but found out otherwise upon arrival.
Be Mindful of Street Beggars
While the area around the hotel is generally safe, it's advisable to be mindful of beggars in the city center, especially when exploring the area at night.
Consider Noise Levels
Some guests experienced noise from flushing pipes and loud air conditioning, so light sleepers may want to consider this when booking and possibly request a quieter room.
Take Advantage of the Location
The hotel's central location near the train station and city center makes it convenient for exploring Newcastle, accessing public transportation, and visiting nearby attractions.
Check for Room Size
If space is a priority, especially when traveling with others, it's recommended to inquire about room size and consider the suitability of the accommodation for a comfortable stay.
Confirm Air Conditioning Settings
Guests experienced issues with the air conditioning, so it's advisable to confirm the air conditioning settings upon arrival to ensure a comfortable room temperature.
Book Through Agoda for Rates
Consider booking through Agoda for potentially better rates compared to booking directly, as suggested by a guest's positive experience.
