Perfect location in a national park, decent food good bar selection. staff were particularly welcoming and friendly. No staff member spoke English but we managed.
Amazing location, we booked a double room half board as we planned two walks in the area and didn’t want to drive back from further Uk the coast. The staff were very friendly, I spoke in rubbish Spanish but realising I was trying they spoke back in English which was kind. We had a standard room , just as expected for this type of property, perfectly adequate. The dinner was amazing! Such good value. Would have cost twice as much if not more elsewhere. The duck and lamb were superb. Three choices of starters and mains and two of desserts plus coffee for €26. It was very quiet when we stayed mid week in March, I expect weekends and holidays are manic as the walks to La Concha and The Cruz Juanar are very popular. The room had a radiator and was warm. Breakfast was as expected, toast, condiments, fresh juice cheese and ham. Lovely log fire in the bar. Would choose to stay again
Cosy little refugio in an awesome location, amongst nature. A perfect spot to stay if you're planning on doing the nearby hikes/trails.
The beds were not comfortable, I personally struggled to get a good night's sleep.
Location The house dinner (paid separately) Fireplace
Very very poor wifi. Breakfast Shower. Water was not hot enough for a shower during some hours of the day.
great location in easy reach of many spectaular walls. mostly outstanding dinners (but see below) excellent friendly staff
indifferent breakfast (nice fresh orange juice but the rest is forgetable). far too much salt used in some food WiFi available only in the lounge. no mobile telephone coverage
