Pros: The facilities and staff are very nice. Room was very comfortable and a good sized patio allowed a nice way to enjoy outdoors.
Cons: A lot of families with kids. The kids ran around without much adult supervision and even though the game room was for 16+ unless accompanied by an adult, the parents made it a dumping ground for their kids so we couldn't really a joy the nice game room.

Pros: The customer service at the Steamboat Grand was outstanding. All of my interactions with their staff was nothing short of wonderful. Everyone was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and kind. The people alone would bring me back to the Grand. Our room was lovely and we were able to upgrade our second night for a small additional charge--Our room extension was top notch.
Cons: Went to The Cabin for breakfast our first morning and was not blown away by the service nor food. I would have appreciated more attentiveness from our server (however a number of groups were dining at the same time) and the food was not necessarily impressive, however our overall meal was not bad, just average which was a bit of a letdown as the rest of the Steamboat Grand was absolutely lovely.
Pros: This is close to the slopes and is a fantastic hotel with walking distance of everything in the ski village and with shuttle service to town.
Cons: The bathroom was dirty. There was long black hair covering the shower, sink and floor of the bathroom. The hair also was clogging the shower drain making us wonder if the room had been cleaned. We ended up using a towel to clean the bathroom as no one answered the phone at the front desk at 11:00 pm.
Pros: Great location.
Cons: The Palo room has no bed! The pullout sofa bed is really uncomomfortable.
Pros: Clean and nice staff!
Pros: The slope at Steamboat talk for themselves! Now the Grand let me just say this place goes out of there way to give you the best experience possible. Room service was fast, my girl the second day in torn her ACL and the Grand's staff on a regular basis brought her ice , the shuttle made special trips with her to get her mess downtown! I never stayed at a nicer place before ! Awesome job Grand !
Cons: I didn't like that I forgot my swimsuit to jump in their beautiful pool!
Pros: The restaurant was awful, coconut shrimp started like cardboard, chickem taste like fish at steamboat and the barista gave small portions of starbucks....be prepared to wait to eAt during any season
Pros: Was pleasantly surprised that the room had a kitchenette complete with full sized fridge, stove and oven. Looking forward to going back.
Pros: Awesome jacuzzi tub!
Cons: No breakfast included. Had to pay extra for parking.
Pros: Great facilities, clean, spacious rooms, great views, reasonable price during off-season (September). Our room was ready 3 hours early which really helped us out.
Cons: Swimming pool closed too early, although during off-season I understand there's probably not enough people to warrant it being open after 10:30pm.

Pros: I can't believe this only rated at a 2.5 stars. Maybe my standards are lower. Compared to other hotels rated at 3. This hotel was as nice if not nicer than other 3s I've stayed at. The room was clean, staff was nice and breakfast hit the spot.
Pros: Cleanliness !! Kudos to the manager who called me mr Martineau every time we crossed paths, very impressive
Cons: The wall heater fan was way too loud, wakes you up when it comes on
Pros: Very nice hotel for the price. Good breakfast that lasts until 10 (not sure if every day but Sunday/Monday anyway). Check out at noon is GREAT. Loved the front desk man (British) who was friendly and helpful about the Steamboat area.
Cons: Not a thing!
Pros: Staff was wonderful!
Cons: Slightly out of downtown area. However, it's close to the mountain if you are there to ski.
Pros: Location in Steamboat. Close to good restaurants and the ski village. Room would have been great had it not smelled of smoke. Breakfast was good, with cooked eggs, sausage, and yogurt, cereal, bagels, etc. I will definitely return to this hotel again.
Cons: Smoke smell in the room. Light bulbs needed to be changed. Even when I took them out for the maid to see nothing was changed.
Pros: Hot breakfast(waffles, sausage, eggs) and wide variety of other choices met our family's needs. Room was spacious, staff friendly and courteous, location was great - close to mountain with easy access. Would stay here again!!
Remodeling was a nuisance...I'm disabled....this was unacceptable
I will never recommend anyone to stay at this hotel it was disgusting the staff was rude
Cons: Yes it stunk the staff was rude I found a dead cock roach under a chair I will never stay at a Fairfield Inn again
The second night the fire alarm went off at 1am because someone smoked in their room. I know this is not the hotels fault, however we felt the hotel did not take any proactive action. Just saying something at checkout would have been nice to acknowledge the fact that we were abruptly woken in the middle of the night and stood outside in the. Old for 20 min.
Pros: Really good price, breakfast pretty good
Cons: The hotel is undergoing renovation inside and out. At this time it can not be considered a 2 1/2 star hotel. Hopefully the renovations will be complete some time in December.
Pros: The great sense of humor possesed by the night desk clerk. The breakfast was adequate
Pros: Great place to stay - quiet. If you are a skier, the location would be outstanding
Cons: Location was a little farther from downtown (considering downtown is relatively small) than anticipated for non-skiing visits.

Pros: The room was nice for the price and breakfast was included. It was not far from downtown either.
Cons: There was a noise at night but wasn't sure what it was. It might have been from a furnace or air conditioner but it stopped shortly after we heard it.
Pros: The hotel is clean, the rooms are inexpensive, and the staff is great!
Cons: They need to enforce the no smoking policy as our room and one down the hall reeked of marijuana.
Pros: Clean good price close to everything.
Pros: Room was clean and comfortable. Parking was easy. Close to everything. Staff was pleasant. No problems whatsoever and would stay here again.
Cons: Not sure if this was in every room, but the entry into our room was a bit tight. Seemed like the entry door to our room opened up directly into a small open closet area.
Pros: The hotel was over pretty clean.
Cons: The staff was rude and unwelcoming. The bathroom was extremely small.
Pros: Very clean sheets and room wasn't bad.
Cons: Breakfast was almost empty when we arrived but was filled up. Would have been nice to have it full when we got there.
Pros: The woman at the front desk was wonderful. The location was super convenient and the rooms were clean.
Cons: Not much of a breakfast selection, but hey, it was free!
Pros: Friendly staff
Relatively easy access to mountain
Cons: A little confusing to find
Breakfast could use a little protein
Drive to town for dinner
Pros: simple, clean, well priced
Cons: breakfast is meager: no eggs, no sausage or bacon, no fruit other than apples and oranges (i.e. no "fresh" fruit).
Pros: Simple but nice little lodge. Decent size room. Clean. Friendly staff. There was a minor mix up with our reservation because we booked through a 3rd party site. The lady at the front desk (I didn't get her name) was very helpful and straightened it out quickly. We are extremely appreciative as the mix up could have made our trip much less enjoyable. I would definitely stay there again.
Pros: About 2 miles outside of town, so not really walking distance to the main street. However, the hotel was quiet, hall carpets and rooms were very clean. I would definitely stay here again.
Pros: Friendly check in staff. Clean, large size rooms. Back side facing rooms have lovely views. Would definitely stay here again. Nice and quiet location, set well-back from the main road. It was a little difficult to find; they probably need a sign near the Steamboat Hotel, pointing back toward the Lodge. Breakfast was a little sparse on choices, but it was nice to have coffee.
Steamboat Mountain Lodge puts you just a 5-minute drive from Steamboat Ski Resort. Guests can enjoy the spa tub, and cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, and snowboarding are nearby. All rooms feature refrigerators and free WiFi.
Pros: King bed was crazy comfy, almost missed first chair. Free breakfast was surprisingly good. Staff was awesome.
Cons: Pool and spa area could use a remodel for sure.
Pros: Friendly and smiling staff, free breakfast, inexpensive and close to downtown Steamboat and even closer to the slopes. Rooms are clean and furniture looks new. Good clean bathroom.
Pros: Location is perfect for us for visiting family and the rooms are clean, but the friendliness of the people who work at the Quality Inn is by far the best attribute of the Inn. Especially Mickey and Sara !

Pros: Al was wonderful!!! He was very welcoming when we arrived, helped everyone get settled in. We had a large group and when there was a problem, he acted fast and took very good care of all of us!! Very clean and we'll maintained rooms and the grounds, definitely be going back! Al is the best!
Cons: After booking my reservations, was told they could not honor it but could move me to another location. After many phone calls telling them I was part of a large group, my reservation was confirmed. Made me very stressed out another family members angry!
With ski-in/ski-out access, Chateau Chamonix by Steamboat Resorts allows you more time for downhill skiing and snowboarding, plus you'll be within a 10-minute walk of Steamboat Ski Resort. Guests can visit the fitness center for a workout, and a soak in one of the 2 spa tubs makes for a relaxing end to a day on the slopes. An outdoor pool and a sauna are other highlights, and condos feature fireplaces and kitchens. Skiers will appreciate access to ski storage.
Cons: Had a noisy air-conditioner and did not have good sound insulation. I could hear the guy next door talking until he went to bed and then as soon as he woke up.
Pros: Nice place to stay. You can walk to anyplace in town for great food, shopping and entertainment. Quite, clean, and friendly. We loved the view of the Yampa river. We can't wait to come back.
Pros: Location is great right downtown
Cons: Rooms are very dated and not very clean
Pros: The Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a person in the next room talking very loudly on their phone at 11:30 at night. I called the front desk and asked it they would please help us out and within 10 minutes "Problem solved" and we were back to sleep. We also liked the continental breakfast, that really helps out families on a budget. The Old town hot springs is right across the Street from Rabbit Ears, and our Motel had all day passes at a great discount. We will be back and stay there again, thank you.
Pros: Very clean. Staff was helpful, and we enjoyed having a continental breakfast.
Rabbit Ears Motel puts you 3.6 mi (5.8 km) from the airport and within a 10-minute drive of Steamboat Ski Resort. Guests looking to stay active can check out the nearby hiking/biking trails, kayaking, and mountain biking, and free perks include continental breakfast, WiFi, and self parking. Rooms feature bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves.
Pros: If you're looking for a clean, comfortable room to drop your bags and go, this is your place! The location is walking distance to everything on Lincoln Ave./ HWY 40. This is not your place if you want to hang out in your room, or for kids as sound travels in this historic hotel. It was a great for my husband and I who just wanted a clean, conveniently located place to sleep and shower before we moved on to our next adventure.
Cons: Not really negatives, just reality. Not handicapped accessible as it is a historic building with stairs, narrow hallways/walkways, and small rooms. Also, thank goodness there weren't families or unruly guests because sound travels, again because it's a small historic boutique hotel. No fault on them, it's just what it is.
Hotel Bristol puts you 3.1 mi (5 km) from the airport and within a 10-minute drive of Steamboat Ski Resort. The restaurant is a perfect spot to grab a bite to eat, and you can unwind with a drink at the bar/lounge or visit the spa tub for a relaxing end to the day. Pros: I have stayed here many times. There is nothing fancy about this hotel, but all I need is a bed and bathroom when I come to steamboat. I am in Steamboat to enjoy the out of doors, not my hotel. Rooms are clean. Check in was fast. Hop on the walking trail and walk along the yampa river 4 miles into town. The hotel is also on the free bus route. I noticed there was a very small pool and also a hot tub, but I did not utilize either. This hotel fits my needs perfectly.
Pros: Definitely not the best hotel we have stayed in, but for the price and being able to bring our dog with us it worked out just fine. The room had kind of a weird smell and the beds could have been a little more comfortable, but like I said before, for the price it was alright.
Cons: -smell of the room
-beds not very comfortable
-no way to adjust the temperature (no thermostat in the room)
Pros: Very quiet, clean and comfortable. Reasonally priced and would stay again.
Pros: Nice clean new room
Pros: The rooms were clean and had a refrigerator. The staff was helpful. I left my bathing suit in the bathroom and they found it and kept it for me until I could come get it.
Cons: The room was chilly, because the air conditioner wasn't covered and there wasn't a thermostat in the room.
Pros: Rooms were clean.
Cons: Walls were thin. Limited Parking.
Pros: Your reception person was very interested in making my stay comfortable and accommodating. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. It was quiet and I slept well.
Cons: Your website leaves a lot to be desired. I had to book through a second party which cost me more money. It was a bit antiquated and needs updating.
Pros: Clean, comfortable. Steamboat Springs has so much to offer there is no reason to sit inside a luxury hotel room. Mathis hotel was inexpensive and basic. All one needs
Pros: Room was great
Cons: Lack of attention to morning coffee stand out of creamers not replaced, parking a problem with M/C taking one spot instead of sharing a spot.
Pros: Staff was helpful.
Cons: They do not have any type of breakfast and that is important with young children.
Pros: The room was extremely clean the staff was extremely friendly and the location worked so well for the sporting events we were attending. I would say all around the best bang for our buck.
Cons: May be easier access from the back parking lot to the rooms. If that's all I could think of that's a pretty good stay.
Steamboat Hotel puts you just a 5-minute drive from Steamboat Ski Resort. Guests can splash around at the outdoor pool or seasonal outdoor pool, and the spa tub makes for a relaxing end to the day. All rooms feature refrigerators and free WiFi.
Pros: The staff were the friendliest I've encountered. It was nice to have a quick breakfast before leaving. The pool was great for the kids and our room met our needs.
Cons: The phone in our room did not work.
Cons: My reservation through this website said 201.64 and I was charged $229.85.
Pros: We had the room at the top of the stairs. It was very quiet despite the normal foot traffic. The king size bed was very comfortable and the shower head was sufficient. The staff was super friendly, just hard to understand.
Cons: The breakfast. Only offered cereal and waffles with limited items to choose from for drinks as well

Our rooms have wonderful mountain views. Each room features free high-speed Internet access, a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, and HBO. Located just 3 miles from downtown, this hotel offers a stress-free environment for your next stay in Steamboat Springs.
Pros: The staff was friendly and helpful, rooms adequately clean, and the location close to the mountain village was convenient. The area was pedestrian friendly and we enjoyed walking around the area.
Cons: The breakfast was lacking in variety and quality. A waffle maker would be a welcomed addition. The property is older and definitely showing it's age and lack of quality construction.
Pros: I would not recommend this hotel for any reason. Steamboat has both condos and hotels for less money
Pros: Friendly staff. Walking distance to a lot of things. Area was beautiful.
Cons: They say they are pet friendly but they don't tell you until you arrive that you are not allowed to leave your dog in the room unattended. "Pet friendly" is a little deceiving and it made the stay a little more difficult. I would have liked for them to let us know about this ahead of time. Pet fee was reasonable though!
Pros: It is an okay hotel with everything you need as well as free continental breakfast.
Cons: It is away from downtown steamboat springs and we would have to drive quite a distance for everything. We stayed at the hotel when the ski season was just over. There is no restaurant and nothing to do around the lift base area and we need to drive to downtown for food and supply.
Pros: Price/ pool
Cons: A tad noisy due to small children running the halls and numerous babies
Pros: Best part was the comfortable blanket. Location great ..by gondola.
Cons: Everything else.. I rate location a 10. Everything else a 1. Very uncomfortable bed. Pool looked dirty. Floor and carpets very worn.. Clunker tvs and clunker computers in lobby that looks like 20 yrs old...room compatible to a motel 6 or worse..way overpriced in my opinion...
Pros: It isn't fancy, but it is a great place to stay. The location couldn't be better - just walk outside to the lift or play on the creek or eat at restaurants. A short bike or car ride will take you downtown. The staff is so helpful and friendly. Really happy we stayed there.
Pros: Great location.
Cons: Wifi was spotty at best in an area where cell coverage is the same.
Pros: Free breakfast and very friendly staff.
Cons: The decor in the room was dated. They had a tube TV and a VHS player.
Pros: Staff was very friendly.
Cons: Was in poor maintenance. Ugly old carpet. Bed was very hard.
