Pros: I liked the kindness and continued offer of assistance to make my stay joyful and uplifting. The owners were a fount of information about the history and historic sites. I liked the firm double bed which enabled me to sleep well. There were always fresh croissants for breakfast. The view from one the rooms was breathtaking All in all a n excellent Bed and Breakfast. Marissa and Pippo were excellent hosts.
Cons: No comments.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved our host. She was very warm and took her time to make us feel welcome. Room was very big and clean. We had really nice view from balcony. It’s a a shame we couldn’t stay longer. Definitely recommending.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Marisa and her husband are wonderful! They are always there to help and are very kind. Bottled water is available downstairs. They brought amazing croissants for breakfast every morning along with pastries. The espresso from their machine was delicious. My boyfriend and I were obsessed with the croissants and the espresso machine. The room was very clean and the bed was magical. I have a sensitive back and the bed seems oddly hard, but in the morning I felt no back pain! A first for a bed that isn’t my own. Don’t be afraid of the bed, it is your friend. There is plentiful parking behind the property. Don’t mess around with the streets in front of you’re not used to squeezing though narrow streets like toothpaste.
Cons: Church is on Saturday morning and at 8:30, 8:45, and 9:00 the church rings the loud bells and it woke us up. A little warning would have been nice- I thought there was a fire! Also, the bathroom door frame for the 1 bed room was deceptively small and my 5’ 8” ft boyfriend hit his head multiple times because he’s not used to ducking so please watch your head.

Pros: Such a friendly welcome and a beautiful home and breakfast, loved the whole peace of the village
Cons: Nothing

Pros: Quiet location with hospitable hosts. Garden and pool with nice views of the surrounding area. Overall a nice place to stay.
Cons: In a bedroom for 2 adults and 2 children, there was too little space to comfortably store everything. .
9.2 Excellent
Pros: It is the oasis in the middle of the olive and orange plantation. Owners are very kind and helpful. They do not speak English. What even doesn't matter as we were able to tell each other what we want anyway. They provided us with recommendations for very good restaurants and gave us tips on visiting sites. Also served us homemade fruits during a day. We even been provided welcome drink. On top of that, we really enjoyed the time at the swimming pool. All were in very good condition and super clean. I highly recommend the property for a stay with kids. We felt to be treated as part of their family! You will definitely need a car.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful and quiet place close to the most spectacular beaches and archaeological sites of Selinunte and Agrigento. The hosts are warm-hearted and absolutely friendly. They know the region very well and have good recommendations re places to visit and restaurants. The breakfast is extraordinarily good and made by the hosts of their locally grown products. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is one of the most stunning hotels i have been to. It was beautiful and it felt a very special experience to stay in such a historic house, and ex-monastery. Giulio and his staff were super friendly, he took us on a tour of the abbey and talked about its history. A lot of the food was from their garden and beautifully prepared.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The Abbey is a very special place. To be a guest and sleep in a monks room which is many hundred years old is an exclusive experience as well as the dinner together with the owners family. Giulgio is very kind and gave us an very interesting guided visit of the abbey included in the rooms price. Lovers of historic places and old stones will be delighted. Price quality relation for what you get is perfect.
Cons: Our bathroom was quiet big, but you have to shower in the bathtub, which is a bit uncomfortable and also easy to slip. Breakfast is more or less traditional Italian with coffee or tea, some toasted bread from the day before with marmelade and homemade cake. Don't expect a huge breakfast buffet.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about our stay was wonderful! Staying at the Abbazia was so much more than just a place to stay. It was an event! Guilio and his staff were so kind and catered to our every need. The history and the beauty, as well as our host and staff, will always be remembered. I hope to return to this beautiful place some day!
Cons: There was nothing I didn't like.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Its unique history and beautiful architecture. The staff were great!
Cons: It’s a pity we were not told about a huge event on one of the days/night at time of booking
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great experience in old monastery with 400 years history. Quite and peaceful stay.
Cons: Unfortunately the bathroom did not have hot water working however we got access to other bathroom to opposite our room and as there was no other guest in the monastery was not a problem.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic experience in a Game of Thrones/Downton Abbey/Harry Potter setting! The (bath)room was extraordinary, the halls and courtyards were fun to stroll through and dinner with the landlord and lady was quite a marvelous experience. The surroundings are very quiet, no noise coming from the road or other villages.
Cons: We were not informed about the costs of dinner, so we were surprised with the bill during check out.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: An amazing, unique place. You feel like you are in a different world. 10 meter high ceilings, renaisance cloisters that you see from your rooms window, original 18th century paintings in the breakfast room, and much much more. And not to mention dinner cooked with freshly picked vegetables from the garden. And of course a detailed and thoughtful tour of the grounds by Giulio makes you feel the place is alive with history.
Cons: There was absolutely nothing not to like. This place is incredible.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: History, location, the tour of the property, the family, Bianca the dog, the fantastic breakfast & dinner (food was amazing) there’s nowhere like it. Good wishes to Giulio & the family on the continued restoration & development.
Cons: It was amazing, no negatives. Maybe just a suggestion, perhaps an honesty bar in the tea/coffee room for a drink if people wish after check-in/before dinner.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: very kind People, beutifull place, Horse riding was an amazing memories thank you so much!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely authentic farm surrounded by beautiful countryside. The rooms were the best we had in our trip to Sicily, with large bathrooms, books about Sicily and nicely renovated, and the dinners they cooked us were fantastic and reasonably priced. Don't expect the usual "hotel" experience. You eat with the family. Lots of cats, kittens and dogs around in the courtyard. Lovely horses outside. Historical artifacts lying around. This place is really for people who want a true, quiet, rural experience. Very relaxing, nice little trails to take walks on, and a little pool around which to sit and have a glass of wine. The drive from Cefalu to Corleone area was stunning. Giovanni and his family were great. Highly recommended.
Cons: Good WIFI in the dining room area but none in the rooms.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It’s nice big house away from the hustle and bustle among the nature with beautiful view on the fields. The Road to this place was nice as well. Here you can order horse riding, walk on the fields, play with pets, just have a rest, eat, sleep or drive to Corleone to visit Mafia museum or just see the town. Also here you can order dinner or lunch. It was unreal big with different dishes. Of course free parking. The house and room was clean with all what you need.
Cons: There is no wi-fi in the room, just in dinner area, but for me it’s not an issue.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely rural setting. Horse riding was wonderful. Very peaceful & relaxing end to our tour of Sicily
9.2 Excellent
Pros: If you want a place to get away, this is great. It's a bit of a drive to get there from most places but once you're there it feels like you're in your own villa in the country. Great dinner with owner brothers, Joseppi and Vincence. The walk around the farm on country roads in the morning sun was spectacular.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful countryside near Corleone. Very good family who runs the place and provides excellent food. We had a lovely stay.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful staff and an excellent meal at dinner (and breakfast was very good as well). A nice secluded cottage near Corleone.
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Agriturismo Tenute Pollara by Casa Mia in Corleone, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of C.I.D.M.A. International Documentary Center of Mafia and the No Mafia Movement and Saraceni Tower. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My friends and I (including their 9-year-old son) used this place as our base to explore Corleone, the Cretto di Burri and Gibellina. It's perfectly located, as it's very well connected to main roads yet it's also completely surrounded by the beautiful central Sicilian countryside. The property is beautiful and contains a large swimming pool, a smaller swimming pool for children (a lifeguard oversees both) and plenty of playing spaces; the vineyards and the winery, where an award-winning wine is made; lovely gardens with shade you can read a book under; a private parking lot; and the restaurant. The rooms are very comfortable, decorated in a simple, elegant manner; mine had a balcony overlooking the gardens. The staff couldn't have been nicer: Massimiliano, who checked us in, made sure the child we were travelling with could take a quick dip in the swimming pool just before closing time and Gabriele La Barbera, the Managing Director, gave us an enthusiastic and very informative tour of the winery. The food is excellent. Thank you so much to all the staff. I definitely hope to come back soon!
Cons: Everything was perfect. I'd have stayed more had I known I'd love it so much! A warning for first-time visitors to Sicily: be prepared for Sicilian portions (the food is excellent but it's a lot of food).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It’s a must to see this place in spring! All is green, the place is calm and quiet, the view is perfect. The host Massimo is extremely helpful and commited. The pizza was delicious, but it couldn’t beat a wine, which was perfect. Remember to take a bottle with you, or two.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast and dinner was great - supper. The young men who welcomed and served us - Max and Emanuele were very nice and friendly (siete bravi !), we will definitely be there again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What did we like? Where to begin! My wife and I liked Casa Mia so much, we extended our stay by four additional nights. The Agriturismo is located in an area of Sicily with 360 degrees of stunning views. I never thought I would see an area that was more picturesque than Tuscany, but it was. Built into a winery, the accommodations were both modern yet quaint. The bed was very comfortable (very important if you've ever stayed at a place with a cheap mattress), the WiFi was fast, and our spotless room had a walk-out balcony overlooking the scenic landscape. Most nights we chose to have dinner there. The food was beyond superb, and we asked the chef to surprise us with her choices. She did. Numerous courses were served and each one was better than the last. We usually enjoyed a bottle of their fine wine made right there, and I was happy to know it's available in the United States. The morning brought more platters of food, fresh pastries and fresh brewed coffee. We were taken on a tour of the vineyards and was able to stroll through the vineyards. There were two men whom deserve special accolades. Massimiliano and Gabriele. These two young men acted as our own personal concierge, making sure our visit was spectacular. Thank you guys! My wife and I spent a month traveling in Italy and Casa Mia was by far our favorite destination. When we finally left, we felt we were leaving friends behind. But we are already planning another trip there, so we will see everyone again.
Cons: I didn't like leaving.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We had a very pleasant stay at that agritourismo. Max was extremly attentive. The food was fantastic and too much. At the visit of the winery we have learned more about the good wine which they produce there.
Cons: Sometimes the music at the big pool was a bit loud .
7.9 Good
Pros: The grounds around the rooms we stayed in were nice. It look like it had a great pool and I'm sure it would have been a great place to relax in. We were on a tight schedule so we just checked in and then left to go to Corleone to explore and have dinner. The breakfast was good. The staff served us as much coffee as we wanted and they had lots of fruit and typical Italian breakfast foods.
Cons: The keys were very hard to work. The room was so-so. ( but is was comfortable and very quiet.)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I am from NYC and not easily impressed, but Agriturismo Tenute Pollara Casa Mia far exceeded our expectations. The food was amazing, the staff perfectly wonderful and the grounds were gorgeous. This is not your ordinary agriturismo-there is a beautiful pool (unfortunately closed in autumn), mini golf and tennis. Dinner was great and the food was copious (marinated mushrooms, zucchini, almonds, yummy eggplant, steak, pumpkin that I am still dreaming of, Salumi, cheese, and yummy ricotta turnover type thingies - all paired with the wine made right there. Our room, dinner and yet another copious breakfast and a wine tour came to just under $100 euros - an incredible bargain. Would go back in a heartbeat- and just for comparison, we are now at Verdura resort in Sciacca- which is gorgeous, swanky and heavenly but which value-wise cannot compare to Tenute Pollara Casa Mia.
7.9 Good
Pros: The location was great, in the middle of the Sicilian rural area. Beautiful nature, calm and a big swimming pool. Great service-minded staff, Massimiliano is a real factotum (a do-it-all). Very tasty wine and good food for dinner. Over all we had a very positive experience.
Cons: I was expecting a different breakfast, with fresh home made marmalade or jam, instead we were served frozen croissants and commercial jam.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff really took care of the guests which made it extra special. It was an oasis in the middle of nowhere.
Cons: A small detail: somewhere to hang your towels in the bathroom
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful place surrounded by the vineyards used for its own wine production and with great views towards rolling hills and steep forest cliffs. The food served at this place is great. For a very reasonable price, the chef will take you through a traditional locally inspired menu served with the agriturismo’s own wine. The staff are all very accommodating and this place makes you feel welcome. Especially Maximiliano made our experience one of a kind.
Cons: Swimming pool can get a little crowded with outside visitors.

7.1 Good
Pros: Lovely pool area and garden. Great location
Cons: Inside is a bit tired
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Magnificent view, pool and excellent breakfast. The beaches around are absolutely great.
Cons: The place is an abandoned paradise with all that belongs to it - for a good restaurant you need to drive, but don’t get me wrong - it’s absolutely worth it staying there!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Gorgeous location, peaceful place for a getaway. Host was kind, staying up til late in midnight when we arrived for check-in. Breakfast was well served, we were asked what we prefer to eat and brought some additional items when we wanted more food. Clean apartment, beautiful pool and pool side with a jacuzzi.
Cons: Supermarket was quite far away because the closer one was closed due to off season. We drove 10km, (closest town Ribera). And shower was quite small.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: An amazing location, the B&B itself is very beautiful and peaceful. Stunning locations and things to see within half and hour reach. We were very happy with everything. And there are really lovely and friendly owners, they answered every question we had any time, very helpful, made us feel very welcomed.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful experience. Great host, very familiar atmosphere, feel like at home
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What a great accomodation! Bia was very friendly and eventhough she could only speak Italian, we made it work with the help of Google Translate. Bia drove us to a typical Italian restaurant and she told the staff we could sit in the back, with all the real Italians! The breakfast was amazing and all self made. The women working there gave us a great tour around Corleone and showed us different places we would otherwise wouldn’d have seen. Ladies, thankyou for everything!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The lady is a very nice host. Good breakfast. Nice view. Comfortable beds.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: A delightful and somewhat quirky hostess. Bia is the kooky Italian Zia (Aunt) you never had. Honestly, it was the most surprising host experience I’ve ever had. I was utterly charmed by the end. Adorable!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely marvellous: host, location, facilities. It is possible that Bia is the friendliest, most helpful person on the planet. On my arrival I was offered pasta, aubergines, meat, watermelon, ice cream and coffee (all were of excellent standard). I'm not sure if this is a standard welcome or if I was just in the right place at the right time! The room's balcony looks out onto a view of mountains and yet it's 5 minutes away from the town centre. Excellent accommodation.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location and value. Nice staff, wonderful breakfast. Clean and awesome bathroom. The room had excellent view.
Cons: All was great
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The big balcone has great views over the compo d’oro. There is also large outdoor area at front of property. Its a quiet area. Antonella is very hospitable and friendly showing me local sights. Highly recommend a stay here
5.4 Okay
Pros: Clean, spacious and good views.
Cons: After I had booked, the owner immediately emailed to tell me that the price was more than advertised on booking.com; then my credit card was charged much earlier than it should have been. When I arrived at the property she wasn't at home and had left keys for me, which turned out to be a good thing since when she got home she wanted to talk a lot. Then it took her ages to take my passport details when all I wanted to do was go to bed. The property was 10 minutes from town on a road with no pavement. My room had no AC and the bathroom was through the kitchen.

Pros: Clean and quiet and a good location if you want to be between historic Cammarata (which is pretty but has no facilities, bars, restaurants etc) and modern St Giovanni Gemini (which is a modern but charming town and has everything you need).
Cons: The room was quite small, the breakfast room was a little bleak and the staff were just fine.

Cons: Less fun and music evening time/
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very fair pricing on food and drink Fridge in room great for drinks etc
Cons: No tea and coffee making in the room
7.0 Good
Pros: Great food - if you get half board, it's well worth the money. Large junior suite, very quiet at night.
Cons: Front desk staff was totally apathetic and unhelpful, when I told him the bathroom wasn't clean (the toilet was disgusting) he didn't do anything about it. Check in time is really late, being 4:30pm. Dinner is at 8pm, which I find late, even for Sicily. Most guests would prefer an earlier dinner - even 7pm would work better for tourists who have been out all day.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very well maintained hotel with sports facilities with a nice country atmosphere and friendly staff. Really enjoyed the stay!
7.9 Good
Pros: Location with a full breakfast.
Cons: Would benefit from a bit of a renovation, especially the bathrooms.

Good Sicilian hospitality. Bought some of the property's own olive oil. Hope to stay longer if lucky enough to visit the island again.

Pros: Views are excellent. People very friendly.
Cons: Dinning was not available on Monday, finding an open restaurant was a challenge since everything closed from 1 PM til 4 or 4;30. No attendants at the hotel at night..

Pros: Wonderful and very clean facilities amongst hills and vineyards. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay extra comfortable. The owner Don Giovanni and his son Giorgio are very warm people. The pool is outstanding and the man who manages it is superb.
Cons: The breakfast could be made more unique with fresh made orange juice and other Sicilian delights. We have appreciated the fresh fruit from their orchard.

Pros: The family that runs it were so very gracious. The tour of the winery was great. We truely enjoyed our stay there.
Cons: One of the rooms was hard to heat, vaulted ceiling, possibly the split needs to be bigger.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hostess is amazing, and so too her son. They treated guests like family. Left breakfast out late for the late sleeper and fruit, bread, coffee and tea were available all day. They even went the extra mile to make and serve us cannolis on our last night- the best we have had in Italy, and we have visited several cities before.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Clean and the owners were great. The breakfast could have been a little better and the beds were too hard. But a very nice winery.
Cons: Beds were too hard. One morning we didn't have coffee.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Located near the edge of town, so arrival and departure from Corleone was easy. Clean. Friendly staff.
Cons: Woman at desk did not speak English. Overcame the problem with Google Translate. Dinner in the restaurant under the hotel was convenient after a long and tiring ride so we didn't need to walk to the center to get something to eat. The food was good, but the house wine was bad.

Pros: Quiet, comfortable, great location at the top of the town, near the cathedral and the spectacular Castello di Conte Luna.
6.3 Good
Pros: On our driving to Trapani, we decided to stay in this lovely village. The view from the top of the village and from the room is incredible. But that’s the only thing you pay for
Cons: Outdated rooms, noisy airco, not super comfortable. Breakfast was bad, asked for a coffee with milk, I’m still waiting for the coffee, only got warm milk.... only industrial products. Had to pay extra for it and it was not worth it. Also be careful what day you come, we were on a Sunday and very few restaurants were open, we found one at the bottom of the village, walking back was a challenge to say the least...
7.5 Good
Pros: The bnb is close to the church, parking is good.
Cons: The breakfast for 5€ p.p. Is really weak. It's Just nescafe, some bread and some jam.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Location and scenery was pleasant.
Cons: The room we had smelled terribly of cigarette smoke making it extremely unpleasant The breakfast cost 5 euro pp and consisted only of espresso (small) and some bread with jam. Considering the other prices of food in town this is a terrible ripoff.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location at the top of the city with beautiful views, free parking nearby (it was very easy to park there - big square 100m from B&B). Very friendly hosts who were available at any time we needed. Room was clean and comfortable, good value for money.
