The architecture of the building, the terrace, and the pool area. The staff at the desk were excellent.
The rooms could do with an update, and if the pool was heated and you offered some spa facilities you could attract a more up -market clientele. The building and it's colonial style is remaniscent of south of france in the 1920s this could be caaitalised upon.
location and character of building excellent breakfast
The beautiful sea view room and having breakfast in the beautiful garden abd the very friendly reception staff.
Nothing at all to dislike
The hotel decor is slightly out dated but that's probably part of it's charm! If you want to chill out by a pool in the peace and quiet in pleasant surroundings and want easy access to the beach (just across the road), then this is the place for you!
I found the prices to be a bit expencive, €426 for 3 nights in July 2010,
the location (next to the old city, near the beach), the architecture that gives a romantic look, even exotic, the garden with Mediterranean plants, the food, the friendly staff
Room walls and floors should be finished with other materials
The hotel and surrounding area was nice and quiet and it's location next to the beach and the promenade was ideal. A good place to relax and unwind in peace and comfort.
The garden rooms don't have a particularly nice outlook and are not as nice as the rooms in the main hotel building.
Lovely relaxing hotel in a nice setting. An oasis of calm along a busy coast. Very helpful and freindly.
Good location, no need for a car, lots of bars and restaurants
warm welcome and friendly hotel. Perfect for beach and local restaurants.
Beach situation with charming and helpful staff. Slightly disappointed in state of garden, which could be beautiful with a little attention, and felt the outside paving and balcony could have done with power hosing to freshen it. This is the only criticism of a superb hotel.
