Very comfortable beds Prices at the hotel bar. $12 for a mojito?
Check in was a bad experience. We got in late and while waiting in line to check in the people working the desk would let guests jump to the front of the line to ask 'quick' questions about chargers and restaurants. It was pretty frustrating. The employees didn't encourage it - but when the guests cut they did nothing about it. Neither did I though. The pipes in the ceiling were leaking in the hall where my room was and trash cans were out to collect the water. It was like that when I arrived but cleaned up by the time I left. There was no issue with noise though.
Right next to freeway. Room and area were very noisy .
Location was great for meetings in the city and valley
The beds were very comfortable sand clean. Everything was clean actually! No complaints at all!
Good location near San Fransisco near the highway so a quick connection to SF in only 10-15min. Without paying the costs of staying in the centre.quiet location nothing in the neighborhood to do. only little choice for breakfeast
Clean, comfortable facilities; friendly staff Nothing
cleanliness of hotel get nicer mattresses, beds very hard, felt like concrete to me. would suggest nice pillowtops like Hampton Inns have.
We had an early morning flight and didn't arrive until later than we had planned. The room was clean and attractive, it was quiet despite the freeway being right near by. We wanted somewhere to eat and the lady at the front desk recommended a restaurant that was one of the best parts of our entire trip. We left too early for breakfast but they were setting up and it looked pretty good. We did not get to use most of the amenities but it was easy to find, was close to some really nice places to eat and was only 4 minutes from the airport but felt clean, quiet and safe. The staff were friendly and helpful. Some of the carpeting looked a little stained and some of bathroom fixtures (tiles joints and grout ) looked a little worn. Otherwise I would have said it was a luxury hotel. Did not like the remote, it was made to be easy to clean but it was very hard to figure. The buttons the TV was indicating you were to use were not on the remote, like they were 2 different systems, but we did figure out a way to use it eventually.
The website lists a shuttle to the airport which is the only reason I stayed here, but it no longer exists. Going to complain to get my cab fair reimbursed but not hopeful
As expected for a Best western, neat and comfortable, good surprise with the breakfast (included in fact).
free shuttle to the airport, good location within walking distance to coyote point park, harbor and san mateo downtown, they managed to check us in very early which we loved after a long flight the receptionist had no idea about the neighborhood - she suggested we take taxis everywhere
Great stay, clean, comfortable, good breakfast.
Clean and cozy room, best pillows and mattress! Slept like a baby. Friendly staff. The rooms are very difficult to locate since they have several buildings. The staff is very nice but did not provide a map. After a 12 hour drive, it is difficult to retain all the confusing information about the location of your room.
Main lobby undergoing renovation which was both confusing (as to where to enter hotel) and inconvenient.
big rooms. re-modeling front desk and only 1 worker!!! Hopefully they fix it up quick, she tried
New building, great decor and fixtures, comfortable bed, quiet room Building was unfinished, breakfast was way overpriced and too greasy
Fridge and microwave in the room is a great amenity. Also parking is free. There wasn't regular coffee available in my room. There was only decaf and tea. It was almost time to check out and would have been inconvenient to go downstairs or calling and waiting for them to bring some to the room.
Beds were comfortable and towels and linens were nice. The room was very large and spacious. Check in/office was difficult to find. They must be remodeling. Free parking was limited to one car with a fee for additional vehicle, elevator was very slow, and no free breakfast offered. The room had a very small refrigerator.
Large, spotlessly clean and comfortable room and bathroom. Shops and restaurants are about 7 - 10 minutes away by car. It's near SFO Airport, but far enough away not to hear airport noise. The restaurant looked rather uninviting. I chose to eat elsewhere. There are no shops and other restaurants within walking distance, so you need a car.
Large sized room
The size of the room was fantastic . Being under construction is difficult for staff and guest but the staff seems to handle it well.
This guest did not leave comments about this hotel.
Room layout, beds, a lot of outlets, very clean HUGE construction project in the middle atrium, hence noise and no restaurant. Bathroom amenities very, very limited - need to ask for basic things like Q-tips and other (yes, they are available - a nice list in the room) but having only soap and shampoo in the room is not sufficient
Exceptional customer service. Unclean.
we didnt like much. they didnt include on the web that the hotel is going through massive renovations. pool was closed which we wanted to use so badly during our short vacation. The gym was also out of service. it was very disappointing of an experience.
Under construction, noisey
Food at 360 was great. Beds were comfy. No microwaves in room. No liquid coffee creamer, just powder.
The hotel was very clean and the staff was very pleasant and polite. We were staying for one night before having to be at the UCSF children's hospital the next day and we all slept like babies. The beds were extremely comfortable and the linen was very soft overall we had a great stay.
Location. Under much needed renovation. Would have been nice to know at time of booking. Air filter so plugged air wouldn't flow. Toilet wouldn't stop running. Blood on comforter. No coffee maker in room. Not at all what you'd expect from a Hyatt. Staff was great when we told them about issues.
Rooms had beautiful view overlooking the hotel Lobby. Size of the rooms are nice. Waited for shuttle over 45 min.. a shuttle from a different Hotel was nice enough to drive us .at 2 am needed maintenance ac was not working .. bathroom was not clean toilet seats for dirty from the last person there.
Location The whole place smelled dusty due to the construction-- I booked a 300 dollar room and they said that there was no running water--- moved me into another room with no view but not any cheaper
Beautiful hotel with strong drinks! No nightlife near by.
Location Valet and bell hops were friendly and helpful. First check attempt was not successful due to a power outage that only affected the computers. Employee was also rude and really should find a job that does not involve working with people. Attempted to order food to go in the restaurant, after waiting for 25mns while the waiter was watching a football game we gave up and left. Rooms were dated and dingy. Would not recommend as a platinum passport member.
The rooms, meeting facilities, customer service Nothing
Clean, spacious, and well laid out. Friendly and helpful staff. Airport shuttle was a disaster. No shock absorbers. Rough ride.
We liked having a free shuttle to the airport as well as the indoor pool. It was great for our one year old to swim and get some energy out before a cross country flight. Staff were very accommodating and provided us with a crib for the room. The hotel restaurant was very expensive, but this is not surprising for San Francisco.
Hotel provided shuttles every 15 minutes to the airport. They dropped you off at your gate. Very nice.
The staff was very helpful and the conference rooms and facilities were very nice and what you would expect from the Westin. Room was clean. Good location First thing I was thoroughly disappointed in was the pillows. After traveling I was tired so I immediately fluffed up the pillows to lay down for a short nap. But the pillow cases sounded and felt like paper!!! And 3'outnofnthen4 pillows were so lumpy and flat, not one firm pillow and that combined with uncomfortable pillow cases I woke up with a neck ache. Bed was uncomfortable . And the sound level in our room was so LOUD that we were woken several times by people walking by talking and each room to either left or right we heardbeverybtime the toilet flushed and every conversation or slammed door. Very disappointed in my stay this time. Better soundproofing the rooms..it felt like paper thin walls!
We liked the overall vibe and style. We didn't like the inconsistent customer service and the room vibrated from the restaurant's exhaust fan. (We moved to another room.)
The location is the only good thing about this hotel Customer service was horrible after a long flight
Nicest hotel staff I've encountered in a very long time. They were incredibly accommodating to myself, my husband, and my 2 year old daughter. We had an overnight stay for a connecting flight and the hotel is extremely close to the airport with a very quick and frequent airport shuttle bus. We happened to be stuck there with a delayed flight on my daughters 2 year birthday and when the staff found out they gave us an extended check out and treated the birthday girl to pasta and a birthday brownie. It was a really pleasant surprise for a tired and traveling family. Thank you Westin!!!
The hotel was clean & pretty well maintained. The staff were not helpful or friendly. The pool was freezing. The wifi was $10 and parking was very expensive. I was hoping for a nice quick pleasant overnight stay. It was quick but not so pleasant.
Through Expedia I got a great deal to stay at the Westin for 3 nights and it was great! I stayed over the Thanksgiving weekend and even though it was a holiday the staff was extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. Nice shower, awesome beds and it's close to the bay so you can just walk outside for a beautiful veiw and walk. Also has a free shuttle and is a short walk to the BART station!
Convenient to airport n hwy Tight room
Parking is $25 Come on. Also, Westin withheld $100. from my card for "incidentals" wi/o notification. The cheesy glasses in the room were carefully encased in cheap plastic wrap with the prepared label "SPG Members" affixed to the bottom of each glass, alerting the non-SPG Members that they would be charged for unwrapping the household plastic wrap from the glass if they dared to venture to drink from actual glass rather than from the plastic UNlabeled "glass" next to the special SPG one. The tub drained poorly. This hotel is full of itself and not much else in terms of service and ambiance.
nice clean hotel, friendly staff overpriced daily parking, overpriced internet
I loved the location to the airport, amazing views, modern vibe and look. Friendly staff! Big tvs!! Dinner was expensive in the hotel. For what it was I should have eaten at McDonald's. $100 mistake.
Nice view beds very comfortable.
The fire alarm went off at 5:00am and we had to walk down many flights of stairs. When we got to the lobby we were told it was a false alarm. After returning to the room to get some sleep before an international flight, the alarm kept going off every 15 minutes or so for the next 3 hours. This made for a stressful start to our vacation.
We needed a place to stay near SFO that provided free airport shuttle. I found this hotel on Kayak, and while it was more than I had planned to spend for one night, it was worth it! The bed was so very comfortable - I didn't want to get out of it in the morning! The room was exquisitely appointed and the staff was very accommodating despite there being a very boisterous party off the lobby - which spilled into the lobby at times. The front desk staff handled a group of small children who were taking items from the Market Place behind the desk extremely well! Thank you so much! More than I wanted to spend for a hotel room.
Location, close to SFO. Self parking fee. Looks a standard in the Bay Area.
Great price and nice accomodations for a decent price. Enjoyed the executive floor and it's amenities which were superb for what we paid. We will stay again if we're ever in need of an SFO airport hotel
We stayed at the executive level and the amenities included with that were nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. The lobby is pretty run down and dated. The carpet in the lobby is very worn and dirty. The room itself was extremely clean and modern.
The hotel is very good, it has clean facilities and friendly staff. I recommend the hotel for anyone that needs to stay around the SF airport area. I did not like the nightly parking fee. It should be included in the room price.
The hotel feels like it has all of the upgraded tech and decor a geeky guy like myself want out of a hotel. It was clean, close to the airport, and didn't have any noise coming from any highways or streets. We arrived late in the evening after a long flight to find our room wasn't ready. (at 12:30am) The front office manager said the floors had been cleaned that day, so it might feel a bit damn in the halls. Feeling tried we said Okay, and got our room key and went right to our room. The first thing we see is carpet fans scattered all over the room with every moveable piece of furniture stacked on our beds. It took another 45min to get our room switched for one that didn't have any fans, and we were questioned like we made the entire thing up. Only issue we had was the miscommunication from the office manager regarding the overnight parking. I was told it would only be $14 and I would have to use the parking machine in the garage. Well, the machine charges $20 for overnight, and I had actually already been charged $14 for parking on my room bill. So i paid for parking twice...We had to leave for the airport or I would have fought it.
Good location. Rooms are clean and well kept. My friends left 4-5 messages for me but when I checked, I was told there were no messages left for me. So I didn't get to meet up with my friends. Pretty bad.
Quick check in and out, courteous staff, and the price was right. However, hotel shuttle took almost 30 minutes to make the full trip between the Hilton and the international terminal. The bedding had some small stains and bathroom was not entirely clean.
They charged extra fees.
Found the window A/C was wonderful to be able to control the room temperature ourselves, had a very good stay
good location and reasonable price
Room overall was quite clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Bathroom was outdated, lacked counter space, old tub and shower, toilet used a lot of water. Lighting and ventilation in bathroom very poor. Construction/remodel work during the day made considerable noise. One elevator was very noisy.
Spacious rooms Noisey!
The hotel was nice and pretty clean. There were dirty glasses outside our door when we checked in and our bedside lamp was broken. It was unplugged when we got there. When I plugged it in it didn't work. It was missing a lightbulb. They came and changed the bulb and finally got it on but then it didn't want to turn off that night. Must have had a short in it. I complained twice and they said they would change it out but never did. Mysteriously the 2nd morning the alarm was set and went off at 5:30am. We hadn't set it and it hadn't gone off the day before. Very odd and annoying. I won't stay here again. There are a lot of choices in the area.
Hotel staff was very accommodating on a few unusual requests. They accommodated me and there was no extra charges . They were prompt and courteous. Made all the differences in the kkkkkkkkkkkkthree day stay.
No safety deposit box in any room! A major inconvenience, especially as the single deposit box at front desk was laughably small. We had to carry passports, all credit cards and cash, computers, etc with us everywhere for 2 weeks! I would not stay here again for this one reason - even though staff was friendly and helpful.
We had to change our check in time to late in the evening. No problem at all. The drainage in the shower backed up a bit and neede to be checked.
Front desk very helpful printed out map quest info polite. Maybe put carpet runner in front of sinks in bathroom because of sanitary reasons. People standing there water all over floor. Nite light also very dark when using bathroom. Will stay again!!! No night lite in bathroom...very dark when getting up.
Very little sound insulation. From my room you could hear everything that was going on in the room above. Same with traffic noise from busy road outside
The linens were the most comfortable of any hotel I have ever visited, and I have stayed at some of the world's most luxurious hotels. The TV has a huge screen and a supremely clear picture. 4K?? The location is very close to the rental car return agencies. Very clean. The only drawback was the check in. I asked for a quiet room with a bathtub. The first room I was assigned had soaking wet carpet from a recent shampoo. Instead of bringing me a key to another room I had to go down to the lobby again and wait for what seemed like an eternity for them to assign me a different room. The person at the front desk (Yolanda?) laughed when I explained the reason i had to change rooms. Then they had a lot of difficulty figuring out which rooms on the quiet side of the hotel had bath tubs. Once I got to the room however I was extremely comfortable and the room was super quiet. A/C could use a slight boost.
Waterproof mattresses and broken fixtures? Can't believe Marriott puts their name behind this place.
It was very nice, location felt safe. Staff was friendly. Pillows and blanket were goose down, very comfy. $25 parking. You run into expensive parking so much in downtown San Francisco that it would have been nice to have lower or none there. The lounge staff, while friendly, seemed to need more staffing. It took a while to be greeted or get our bill. There was no fan in the bathroom so while showering it got very hot fast. They had to add on a hold for an extra $100 on my debit card, just because it was a debit. It's refundable but it has yet to be removed from my bank statement.
Room furnishings were very nice and modern. Bed very comfortable. Loved the glass shower doors and bathroom amenities. Staff very friendly. Free airport shuttle very convenient. Overall great experience. Tried express check-out via telephone and TV menu but neither worked. Had to checkout at front desk but luckily there was no wait. Would prefer express checkout.
Love the convenience and ease for travelers. The pool- though small for serious workout, hot tub, and work out room is great.
The hotel is easy to access and the quality of the rooms is very high. Not far from the city and really close to the airport Great view of the plane landing and taking off without the sound. very friendly staff A bit on the high side for the price depending on the day you stay.
The staff was amazing. Some of the best customer service I have seen in a long time. They had fruit and candy out and everyone smiled and was helpful. It was wonderful.
Great Bed experience. I did not.mind being far from San Francisco since we had rented a car. There was a used towel in our room when we checked.
They could not accommodate my room and needs since booking.com made multiple mistakes in my order. For my inconvinance nothing special was offered or any type of discounts.
Nothing about this place is ok. They are very rude employees The employees of the hotel. Extremely rude
Location Dirty, cigarette butts everywhere, and creepy sort of people have residences here.
Convenience to airport. Wake-up call on time. Spartan to the point of bare. Washed but worn and stained floor and furniture. Unwelcoming barebones ambiance.
Not much I couldn't wait to leave
I saw a bed bug on top of the blanket within my first minute in the room.
The front staff went into back room, opened my luggage, and stole an expensive pair of eye glasses: I trusted them with my luggage after check out before flying out at night. The pair of eye glasses cost four times my stay, so it definitely wasn't worth it! I would never stay at this location again, and after OMRAN never returned my calls, I'm reporting them to Travelodge franchising and demanding explanation about why my calls were never returned and staff were allowed to steal my property without a manager getting involved. OMRAN, the manager, is inexistent! I called and left him a number of messages, but he never returned them. They told me first day after stolen gasses that he was sick, and a week later, he was still sick. All he needed to do is return my messages, and promptly, but never did, not even three weeks later. Everytime I call this Travelodge location, the phone has to ring for 5-10 minutes before placed on hold, then disconnected, then call again, and repeat, until an hour later, yes an hour, before front staff talk to me. They really need an extra front staff or manager on mobile to answer phone: so unprofessional! For the price you're paying at a location so isolated from anything San Francisco, it is not worth it even if I wasn't robbed: go somewhere they answer the phone from first three rings. If you have a problem here, you're on your own! Beware! There really are better options downtown and with BART, you get to airport much faster than waiting half hour for their shuttle, which doesn't run late night (if you're downtown on Fri or Sat night, plan to leave downtown by 10 PM or you'll miss the shuttle to this location). I would not recommend this location even if you're waiting for a flight: it's faster taking BART to airport, which takes half time less than the 45-minute shuttle (with drop off), about 20 minutes from downtown San Francisco. Again, there are better options downtown. Don't stay here: if the front staff robbed me, what did they leave for housekeeping? Not worth it.
This place is extremely close to airport and can be booked via most travel sites at a really low fee in comparison to other places in area. it is a borderline "bring your own sheets" kind of place. The rooms are run down and in the room I had the weatherstripping under the door was mostly detoriated leaving a big gap causing a major draft all night
No one mentioned a hundred dollar deposit, didn't require last time. Count on waiting ten days for it to be returned.
Literally nothing is good about this hotel except its closeness to the SFO airport. Period! If you EVER have to stay there, NEVER get a room in building 7, it has some of dirtiest rooms I have ever seen in my life. Filthy rooms with suffocating carpet and smoke smell Careless, unfriendly staff (except a lady named Maira, she is super nice). It's obvious that the hotel is under careless ownership and management. I'm REaLLY surprised they still hold the Travelodge license!
Carpet wet, room smelled bad, wifi didn't work hidden fees they charge upfront a deposit staff not nice
IHOP on premise was very convenient and gas station across street also ver convenient. Extremely run down and dirty..... Bedbugs devoured my neck and body. Carpet filthy, bathroom filthy,
The staff was very accommodating, and the room was clean and comfortable.
Great breakfast. Hotel is very clean and there is plenty of parking ($8 per day) WiFi was very slow or no connection at all
The staff was friendly, I couldn't hear the neighbors and my room was clean. I issued some of my complaints to the front desk and they refunded my 8 dollar parking fee. Creaking bed, broken light switch, single night stand between two people, unpluggable bath tub, being asked to conserve water when the toilet flushed in excess of 3 to 5 gallons a pull, the closed pool, broken floor number by the elevator sitting on the floor, very minimal exercise room, paying 8 dollars for a completely full parking lot, the hotel stinking of smoke on a non smoking floor, stairs don't lead to the lobby, etc. I paid over 100 dollars for one night and left underwhelmed.
clean room full breakfast friendly staff usb charger in room (with the lamps) fridge facility missing disney channel on tv
One of the best dinners I've had at an airport hotel. Friendly staff. Good shuttle service. There was nothing to dislike. I asked for a special room and they gladly moved people around so long could have my choice.
Good location. Close to the airport. Complimentary shuttle service to/from airport. Booked a room with 1 King bed. When I arrived, I was told they any had rooms with 2 Queen beds available. They seemed more like twin beds.
The housekeeping staff provided a clean room and nice sheets. I had a room on the top floor, overlooking the nearby 101 freeway. The noise from the freeway was unbelievable and I barely slept the entire night. My room was equipped with a large unlocked sliding window with no balcony or railing (Seriously? On the ninth floor?), and I thought maybe it wasn't closed all the way, but it was, it just let a lot of noise through. In addition, there was a door right next to the bed that connected my room to that next to it. This door also lacked proper soundproofing, as I could hear the TV playing over the freeway noise until after 2AM.
The room was clean and they had a great breakfast. The staff was un friendly and unwilling to help when I asked to switch rooms due to our room being located on the 8th floor next to the roof access. Apparently we only booked a queen bed that's why we were in that room. When I asked what could be done about it he told me I would have to pay extra to move my room IF they even have any available. Also, we had to pay for parking $7 a night which I was not aware of or else I would've stayed else where. We had to put a parking permit in front of the drivers seat window so our car wouldn't get towed. A hotel like this is taking all your money and yet they aren't willing to make your experience nice enough to get you a better room.
From the first contact by phone, to checking out on my day of departure, my stay was great. I came to visit my daughter and two grandsons, ages 3 and 5. We all stayed in the hotel. I had chosen a room with a single king bed as the boys are used to co-sleeping with their parents. The hotel staff upgraded me to a disabled accessible room with two queen beds when they discovered I had disabilities. There was no extra charge for this. The boys were rambunctious and noisy but the rooms were insulated enough that the noise does not appear to have bothered any of the other guests. Once day the maid vacuumed our room twice as the boys had made a mess on the floor. They brought us extra towels within minutes of my call to the front desk and when I discovered the hair dryer was damaged, they replaced it while we were having breakfast. And speaking of breakfast, it was tasty, varied and nicely presented. Plenty of options, including a large rice cooker filled with rice for the many Asian students who were in the hotel. Nice touch. Once the wait staff saw that there were children in our party they had a high chair at our table before we got back from the buffet. When I was checking in for my flight home, on the computer provided by the hotel, I got a little confused and staff graciously and quickly helped me. I was impressed with the value of the hotel as well. Using Booking.com I found a rate of $120 per night. This fit nicely into my budget. One other thing I want to note is that my brother has traveled all over the world for his work but when he is on personal trips he says he books Best Western as he feels the hotels provide a high level of service, nice accommodations and value for dollar. Very pleased I followed his recommendation. The shower in the disabled accessible room has a low tile rim around the shower pan to allow for wheelchair access if necessary. It is probably not something that can be solved, but the rim allows too much water to splash over onto the regular floor and requires a lot of towels to soak up the water. Otherwise everything else was good
$100 a night Didn't feel like a 3 star hotel. Maybe 2. Breakfast not good. Very bare bones room.
bed is good front desk needs to improve
The staff was friendly and helpful, the hotel itself was extremely nice. Breakfast was amazing. The rooms were good size. Overall we felt we got a great hotel for a reasonable price.
I will be back!
Japanese restaurant had the freshest sashimi. Nice jacuzzi Low ceilings made it clostophobic Staff took a while to answer phones at night
Location. It is in the middle of nowhere.
This 4-star hotel is really good value for money. Especially if booked around the weekend! It's a great location, if you are winding down after a trip around the Bay Area and want to just relax before your long haul flight. The restaurant and cafe/bar are somewhat intertwined. Opening hours of the restaurant weren't clear. If you want to grab a late lunch, the cafe/bar is pretty good.
The pillows were very soft, and there were a lot of them. Plus, HD TV.
Good employee and nice breakfast
Great location for a visit to San Francisco and Bay area. Great lobby, rooms relaxing stay you'll like it. Reasonable rates In the Future will stay there when we need to relax for the weekend in the San Francisco bay area. ext time we stay The buffet looked great and will try it next time we stay at the Crowne Plaza Hotel San Mateo! none
Very nice hotel. Impressive lobby. Pleasant, comfortable, clean rooms. Noise in hall of our floor on Saturday night due in main part to three separate high-school reunions at the hotel. Probably can avoid this by not booking weekends in September. I don't blame the hotel.
The Crowne Plaza in Fostet City is a great hotel to stay at. Appears they upgraded the interior. Breakfast buffet was great. Parking and Internet is included and you can't beat the location. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Will stay here every chance I get.
The complimentary breakfast was excellent. The room was clean and quiet even though it was near the airport.
No on site food service
It was great value for the money. The shuttle bus driver for our drive to San Francisco International at 0911 on October 22, 2010 drove very fast for no apparent reason. He drove around curves at high speed and was forced top apply his brakes very quickly when he approached a red traffic light or curve. It was a Saturday morning with almost no traffic, but he drove as if he was in a hurry to complete his run so he would have more "free' time between runs. Also, when he arrived to pick up guests for the ride to the airport, he talked on his cell phone for over a minute while we waited for him to leave the shuttle vehicle and load our luggage. Overall, he didn't present a very professional image for the hotel and in heavier traffic, his driving would have been dangerous.
Good location, free shuttle to airport and consequently to bart station, free wireless internet Staff, not polite, shower with weak water pressure
It is a good, family owned hotel. Clean, comfortable, small and manageable. Good work-out room and equipment. Complimentary shuttel service from/to airport. Basic continental breakfast.
The staff is very friendly and welcoming. We were upgraded from a regular room to a suite with a bay view.
Near the airport, easy to find and driving to. We liked the room a lot. Hence we were positively surprised with this hotel. Clean room, nice facilities also in the room. I can advice this hotel to other ppl. The hotel staff at the Check in point didn't look too friendly and talkative. Other hotels look more friendly.
I could stay at the window or on the patio for hours watching airplanes taking off and landing. It's amazing. The quality of bedding sets are kinda of old. But considering the price it is fine.
Great continental breakfast area ! No Pool !
Big room, very good breakfast, big free parking, free Internet access and cheap (self-service) laundry - you can do a wash for $2.5! Internet is a little slow sometimes.
The Breakfast was great. Room was comfortable, liked that sink was not in bathroom. Couldn't have breakfast 2nd night because had to leave before it began, it'd be nice if they had coffee out 24/7 and maybe some pastries for people who have to leave early in the morning.
It's was nice. Good breakfast The orange juice could have tasted fresher.
Complimentary hot breakfast, free parking, budget-friendly, free shuttle to airport, and location in decent area. -Not a place to go with children -under renovation
Yesterday the room I live did'nt have toothbrush It's ok
Everything was old and in poor condition. I did not feel like the room was clean. The staff seemed annoyed to have to talk to me.
the staff was friendly dusty rooms! hadn't been dusted
1. Clean 2. Modern look and feel 3. Big tv 4. Big hand washing area 5. Nice looking shower 1. EXPENSIVE parking (no free parking) - $25 a night. With this added parking cost, it brought the cost of the stay up to the price range of a much better class of hotels. (Could have gotten a much better hotel with the added parking fees) 2. No place to sit, eat and watch tv, especially if you are with another person. 3. Right next to the airport, so if you are a light sleeper, or hate noise, this is NOT the hotel for you. This applies to any side of the hotel you are in. Luckily, this doesn't bother me too much, but I'm sure many people would be bothered by this. 4. No amenities! No shampoos or body wash in travel size. Much cheaper hotels AND much more expensive hotels usually have individually packaged toiletries for the convenience of their patrons. It's apparent they did not want to invest in any amenities. The really sub-par wall mounted toiletries do not clean well. 5. Bed is fairly uncomfortable. 6. Bathroom set up is really inefficient. Sliding door to compartmentalize the toilet and the sink area is a really poor, poor, poor, poor, poor choice. Why would someone do that? It doesn't even shut all the way. There is like an inch or more gap. 7. Why is the fridge in the bathroom? - SELF EXPLANATORY COMPLAINT
Loved the room setup. Not very family oriented.
Modern design features all around, furniture and decorations. Nice and clean. When we made the reservation we asked for 2 rooms with double beds and one of the rooms was king instead of double bed. will seriously consider other options next time.
Clean lines, modern decor, close to airport Need more electrical outlets at bedsides
Modern, chic, lively, energetic.
Great Decor, Clean Rooms, Friendly Staff, and an easy in and out stay. Enjoyed this hotel!
proximity to SFO cost
Room very clean, nice and inviting.housekeeping nice and helpful with request. Front desk is confusing: you do not know if they are busy or not and where you should check in.
Super clean, sleek and modern. Looks brand new provides great bath products. Really great complimentary coffee. Breakfast options or free breakfast would be nice
Misleading: parking not included
The hotel is well located for our business purposes. It is close to US 101, and reasonably priced. The hotel is average in every way. The rooms are old. The hotel used to be a Best Western, and has just been converted to the Los Prados. The bathrooms have been re-done.
None The place old
Location close to city & airport.
Clean, comfortable, didn't smell.
clean and comfortable. Check out to early.
Clean - good location - reasonably priced
Carpets need replacing.
Doubletree cookie. Sea view, but through a porthole size window. Shabby place. At 200USD I would expect more.
The staff was nice but I wasn't satisfied with the resolution of the problem. Will not stay there again. Found a glass in the room with male bodily fluids. Staff moved us to a new room and offered free breakfast. The last thing we wanted to do was eat there. Would have liked a full refund.
i liked the fact that this hotel provides free parking wich is unusual in SFO, free wifi very clean and comfortable. great hotelbar.
staff was amazing! warm cookies upon arrival! rooms were clean! room service was prompt! will be back for another stay!
Great value and location but room was dirty, old soap bar was left on sink and shower curtain smelled bad
Convenient for airport with regular free shuttle. Comfortable room and good complimentary buffet breakfast included in the deal I booked.
The breakfast We were on the 7th floor right outside of the maid's storage area and it was extremely noisy!!! It was like a war outside of our room every time they dropped something. It would seem they would stay quiet until checkout. I was attempting to take a nap and that didn't work. When we told the front desk, nothing...
Rooms were clean, bathrooms were clean, the cookies were good. Staff was attentive and friendly. Tv channels would come in and out. The bed sheet didnt fit over the bed correctly so it would come apart all the time. Expected atleast the basics like the bedsheets to be on correctly. For the price it was just an ok stay. Be warned there is a parking charge to park overnight. I believe that was not stated in the descriptions.
Check in went amazing and fast friendly service.
friendly staff clean rooms
our room was clean and comfortable the parking was $26.00 a day and the access to the hotel was inconvenient
Beautiful gardens pet friendly ! Breakfast and drinks great . Great view . Lovely shampoos . Excellent staff . Had such an awesome time . Have recommended it to my grown children too. Thank you for everything :) Leaving :)
The breakfast was wonderful, the rooms were large and comfortable. We were not able to control the temperature in the room, felt warm and damp.
Nothing at all. Everything, the staff was terrible.
Nothing The staff was rude, My credit card was overcharged 3 times.
Breakfast included with a niceroom Cleaning service did not remove trash oneday
Breakfast in the morning was devine. Best omelet I've had in months. Hard to find a good deal for embassy suites. I would love to stay more often.
Great place to stay. Close to the SFO airport
Breakfast is why i stay hereorice
This is a great place for a family. The breakfast was great. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. It is close to S.F. and Pacifica.
Nice rooms and gym area they shouldn't charge for parking, it's expensive and my card never worke when I was trying to leave the parking lot
Closeness to downtown and amenities No continental breakfast included, you have to pay extra
Parking not included, outdated need manteinance
I like that we got a voucher for an American Buffet, so we didn't have to pay. We had our choice of waffles, scrambled eggs, an omlet made however we wanted, fruits and many other things. It was delicious and the servers were very nice and attentive. The bed was not very comfortable that would be my only complaint.
Friendly staff, cleanliness, breakfasts Rooms OK but a bit small. Parking "card readers" are old and don't work well.
Location, friendliness of the reception and the early shuttle to the airport was very accommodating. The shuttle took a long time to show up at the airport to pick us up. Something to work on it, apart from that i don't have much to comment on since i spend one night.
Close to the airport. quite. On site restaurant. Place is very short staffed. Only 2 persons at the desk at night with constant stream of the travelert checking in and checking out, plus non stop calls from rooms or about reservations... i waited in line for over 30 min just to check out!... No toothbrash/toothpaste in the room, which is a shame for an airport hotel and considering the price they charge for a night.
The AC required service, which we didn't know, until 0100. It was our last night, prior to returning home. The front desk didn't respond except to say they would have maintenance look at it the following day. Additionally, they offered no GOVERNMENT or military travel rates.
Staff was so thoughtful and really made such an effort to treat me better than I ever expected!!!
Staff was wonderful. Front desk was helpful and friendly. We were placed near the elevator and could hear it run up and down all night. The wall near bed had a gash in it. The toilet would not flush properly and would run for an extensive time.
The furniture fixtures and equipment is due for replacement.
Close to my stepson's huse Room was not cleaned everyday. Poor quality towels, some with holes in them. Overpriced. Breakfast barely adequate.
Linens were clean and fresh. Fridge in room. Caution: bed is placed a little too close to the large chair and you will smack your leg on the don't-know-its-there-until-you-hit-it footboard. Other comments noted the lack of storage/shelf space in the bathroom/shower and that is true. Password for wifi is: Flowers. Don't pay extra for that, as the signs around the hotel say its free. We paid "extra" for it - waste. This hotel comes up as "Half Moon bay" and it is about 30mins away, so not Half Moon Bay = Kayak fail.
Decent room Small. Tight. Outlets are loose
Free good breakfast We had to wait for towels
I didn't hear a train like other reviewers did, but I also slept with the fan on all night to drown out any noise. I greatly appreciated the good size in-room fridge, microwave, and free wifi. Staff was polite. Bed was comfy. There was an ice and soda machine on the property. Hotels in that area are pricey. This was the most reasonably priced hotel I could find. I did hit my shin on the frame of the bed like many other reviewers did. The sink faucet needed to be secured with bolts on the underside. Every time I pulled up on it, it lifted up so I had to use my other hand to push it down. Furniture was worn/scratched. Breakfast is all carbs (pre-made waffles and pancakes, cereal, bagels, juice). If you're on a Paleo diet there will be nothing for you to eat so bring your own food and store it in the in-room fridge.
The toilet made a terrible noise every 10 minutes. We were too tired and checked in too late to go complain and I think they were full anyways so I don't think they would've moved us. Very mediocre place - not worth the money. I only booked there because it was close to where I needed to go the next day.
The parking was free. That was great. Don't often see that nowadays in and around the city. The mattress had literally no bounce to it and I'm convinced it was plywood or maybe a big flat rock. Whatever it was it certainly was not even suitable to sleep on. My 3 year old who can sleep anywhere couldn't even sleep on that bed. My 2 month old myself and my 3 year old all developed awful rashes on our bodies from the towels and sheets. The towels smelled like burned plastic. The floors were so filthy you couldn't walk without shoes. Mystery stain about 3 feet wide in the middle of the floor. No bath tub. Just a leaky shower with awful water pressure. I can't express enough that the "mattresses" we're the most uncomfortable! I sat on it and it after a long day of traveling with two small kids I had to laugh to keep from crying. I would have slept in the car If the neighborhood didn't look so sketchy. The breakfast- half a pack of frozen waffles, a bag of generic and stale bagels and corn flakes. The syrup container was disgusting and sticky with a dead fly stuck to it. We had juice and left exhausted and hungry. You get what you pay for. I'll be paying more to stay at a sanitary hotel from now on. I learned my lesson.
Close to freeway, staff were friendly and helpful. Updated rooms. Free parking. Free WiFi Would have liked 4 pillows in the bed. Bed frame was extended and always hit our leg. More breakfast choices. Shower leaked hot water from the nozzle
Room was well-appointed and furnishings were modern. Morning clerk at the front desk was rude.
Nothing Dirty rooms, half broken-noisy bed and an extremely rude staff that don't give a flying $&@! about you. Probably one of the shittiest motels I ever stayed in. Oh, and did I mention location? A loud train at 1-2am every night to wake you up. Do yourself a favour and find soething else unless you're really desperate.
All I wanted was a decent place to sleep that was convenient to my destination. On that regard, this was a fine place. The beds were comfy, rooms were clean, and it was close to the 92-101 interchange. Also, it was very close to a CalTrain station which we took to go to Palo Alto. It served its purpose as good our home base after we were through with our day. The staff was not even remotely friendly. I asked for 2 key cards for my wife to use and was bluntly told "only 1 key." Breakfast was wanting. We can hear guests from other rooms. Toe/arm/head injury hazards all over the place; I hit my shin on the bed frame, and banged the dumb mirror next to the bathroom.
The room was very clean had space to move around. It was in walking distance to the San Mateo Event center and a shopping mall was a short drive away. I always appreciate free Wifi. The front desk person could have been more amicable.
