The Pagona apartments are ideally situated in a quiet area, on a bus route with stops very close, an easy walk to the beach, harbour and a few hundred yards from a very good supermarket. The room was spacious, very clean, we had lovely balcony. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The apartment was immaculate and cleaned every day. Near the harbour strip and shopping centre yet away from all the noise. Lovely family run Apartments’s. Friendly staff, modern spacious superior apartment, 5-10 minute walk from restaurants, bars & Harbour. Option of lovely buffet style breakfast in the restaurant. Great location. Staff are super helpful. Very clean. Handy bar. Lovely family running the resort, really helpful and genuinely warm with guests. Nice pool and apartment. Relaxed stay in Paphos. Small-scale apartment complex with a lovely swimming pool in the middle. The new apartments are wonderfully spacious and clean. Easy by bus to the port or to the old center (1 change). Free parking onsite, spacious apartment, balcony, close to the beach, onsite pool - a good alternative for those who enjoy self-catering.
The superior apartments are fairly basic, not even a print on the wall for decoration, no privacy curtains behind any of the blackout curtains on the windows, the wifi is just about ok, there is no TV in the rooms also no microwave or coffee maker. The mattress and pillows were smelly, the spare pillows in the cupboard had dirty pillow cases on them. Bath towels had a strange smell to them and weren’t changed very often, every 4/5 days, you had to pay extra to have the bedding and towels changed more frequently, other guests we saw and spoke to had bought washing powder and were hand washing their towels and hanging them over the balconies to dry. Daily housekeeping consists of bed straightening and a fresh loo roll but doesn't seem to include any cleaning so after a couple of days we got out own cleaning stuff from the supermarket and did it ourselves which was no great hardship just a little disappointing as they advertise daily housekeeping which I would have expected to include some form of cleaning even if only to wash the hand basin in the bathroom. The member of staff on reception on our arrival on the evening of the 14th October was not very welcoming and very brusk. Other reception staff very helpful and smiled. Towels only changed every 3/4 day. Maybe ever 2nd day be better. A lot of building work going on in the surrounding areas, which didn’t bother us and unseen from the pool area, but once complete this will be a big improvement to the Harbour & surrounding areas. Unfortunately the room did not have many facilities. It would have been nice to have at least a hair dryer, iron, shampoo or gel wash. The internet connection was very slow. Vegetation blocked view our from balcony. Weak Wi-Fi, good Wi-Fi was only near the pool, in the apartment, which is located 5 meters from the pool, Wi-Fi was no longer available, we didn’t have a sponge or dishwashing detergent, so the dishes stood in the sink every day and no one washed them when the rooms were cleaned. Beds a little more comfy. Pool could do with a bit of money spent and sunbeds ready to be updated. One night the lights and the fridge weren’t working. But the staff fixed it in no time. Would be great if there were more things for shower like shampoo or shower gel. Only complaint was the hard beds. The furniture was a little old. If you don’t like ants and cockroaches, don’t stay there. Cleaning is poor, the pool is stinking and too warm, it should be cleaned out more often! There is no wifi or tv in the room and if you have some problem the reception won’t even try to help! Please do something with this things, because its not okey! Our room had big problem with ants, as they would crawl up the tables and all unnatended food would be covered with them in half hour. Trash bin was almost every day filled with ants. No dish cleaning products nor sponges were given, and most cutlery and dishes looked like they never have been normally cleaned. Stove is horrible, dont even consider to cook anything at the appartments on it. The one thing i didnt like was the beds i found so hard, played havock with my back and even trying to lay on my sides it was hurting my hips and im only a 30 year old man so not like i suffer with hip pains or anything. Poor internet connection, the matresses were a bit to hard and there were no dish soap, dish spounge and hair dryer. no internet connection inside the rooms only around the pool.
