The 'castle', though modern, has been well thought-out and finished. It is very convenient to the A68 autopiste. The restaurant and bar close at 4pm on Sundays, so we were directed to a Hostal (we think owned by the hotel) across the road; the Hostal restaurant was empty so we opted for the cafe/bar, where we had an excellent, plentiful, and freshly cooked meal from a wide menu; the tapas were also very good. The Hostal obviously caters for lorry drivers, and serves them well. We will quite happily stay at the Hotel Castillo Bonavia again, and probably eat at the Hostal. A good economical place to stop.
It was a different type of hotel to stay in. Very attractive inside and outside. The set menu was very good value but the food was a bit greasy. The main course had all been fried in lots of oil. Loved the wine though.
Very nice room and bath with jacuzzi, just off main drag. Four poster bed a nice touch plenty of room to sit and the free minibar was quite a surprise. Staff keen to help, smiles all round.A good stopover on way to coast. Will stay again if going that way. Road noise would have been less if window closed properly. Everyone in the dining room was smoking! Difficult acess to reception with cases as steps and narrow door
Accessible, well placed and signed from motorway. Good location about half way from Atlantic coast to Med coast. Superb themed presentation. All food good and staff helpful. Room comfy and clean. Superb rate inc good buffet breakfast, including English, continental and fruit. Minor - No bath (but good shower), didn't get a 4 poster bed as expected and no English TV programmes or tea/coffee making facility in room.
Staff very helpful !
Very clean, easy access to motorway and good for en route stop. Could not eat until 9pm. Went down for breakfast, was ignored -did not get any coffee, orange juice etc. In the end got some rolls and water and left and got rest of breakfast at motorway service
We were actually quite pleased with the breakfast selection although let down a little by nobody being around at all to show us what to do, especially when the one kettle was empty. We were only on a one night stopover but found the Hotel very difficult to find and the outside appearance seemed find but did not feel the reception staff were very welcoming and the room was very basic with a annoying hum which kept receeding and then getting louder, consequently making sleep quite difficult.
The location was perfect on our way to Torrevieja and all the staff were polite & very helpful, looking forward to our next stay.
Hotel was very easy to find and room was very good and air conditioned Bar \ restauraunt shut early on the sunday evening with nothing else nearby
it would have been better if things where in english as well as spanish, found it very hard to order food, even the reception was a problem,
The reception staff were very good and welcoming, especially to our dog, and the hotel buffet breakfast was excellent and very good value. This was a great stop over place from the AP68, couldn't fault it. We would highly recommend it especially as they take dogs for a modest fee. A great stop over from Santander to the east and southern coasts The main restaurant and bar was closed but it was a Sunday, within a kilometre go to the local Flunch, it's great value.
breakfast not worth the price they charged . We travelled with a pet, not allowed anywhere other than room.
The hotel conditions are very good for the price we payed (35 eur). There was a funny smell in the room.
location and internet was not working (had specifically chosen that hotel for the internet facilities and free parking)
We get the additional bad for our child for no extra cost
We liked the receptionist, the size of the room, the digital TV, the wifi and the bath. As a stopover on the way south, it served our purpose well.
sitauted close to the quite frequent roads (also at night). But maybe other differently situated rooms are more quite. Aircondition too noisy.
Very close to the Motorway, Good evening meal but expensive Very Very poor Breakfast facilities and no Kettle/Cups/Tea/ Coffee in the room
There was a covered parking lot associate with the hotel, and access from the highway was easy. This hotel is not in zaragoza city proper. It's a short drive to the city (or expo). We stayed here for a trip to EXPO 2008. Since we spent very little time at the hotel, the 3rd-world ambience did not matter. Oh, and if you're looking for it with GPS it's just past the cement factory.
On the evening of the 20th February the receptionist was very helpful and efficient. Restaurant did not open until late after driving all day we would of liked to eat earlier, no other restaurants in the area. The receptionist on the morning of 21st February was quite rude and impatient when our card's didn't work in her machine , one of which was not working. Directions to hotel are not very good took us over 1 hour to find the hotel coming from Palpaloma.
Resturant food was very good The website started free internet but I couldn't get this in my room
The proximty to the centre of the city and surrounding areas
smart, modern hotel
Modern surroundings and good soundproofing, free soft drinks mini bar and good selection at the breakfast buffet.
Secure underground parking, nice clean modern room, really excellant value dinner, great choice for breakfast, nice helpfull staff even if they didn't speak English - in fact everything we needed. Little difficult to find
Rooms were very nice and comfortable Bar service was quite poor in the afternoon although it was better in the evening
The hotel was excellent, the staff extremely helpful and the dinner first class and very reasonable we would definitly book again do pay the small supplement for the upgraded wine really worth it. We were towing a large rib to the Med and the staff had picked this up on our booking and allocated parking. Directions off the Motorway slightly misleading
A very comfortable and good value hotel in the quaint village of Utebo, which has a 10 minute train connection to Zaragoza. The buffet breakfast is overpriced, go for the continental option or a close-by cafeteria.
Friendly staff who speak English. Good service. Excellent evening meal at very reasonable price. Clean air conditioned room. Convenient location. Easy parking in street. No tea/coffee making facilities in room.
Rooms good and clean Food not very good. dining facility poor, choice of food poor, like eating in a transport cafe. Also very noisy from roads and industrial units.
The pool was very nice and the rooms were a nice size for the price.
Clean hotel, friendly staff, breakfast is okay, close to main roads Hard to find with just the address and a navigation system. The address is unknown. We had to ask for directions in an other hotel.
Rooms were airconditioned. Location right off motorway and handy for trips into Zaragoza. Pool very welcome as very hot weather. Ideal for visiting Zaragoza and although close to motorway not too noisey. We changed our return trip and stayed on the way back to Spain. Evening meal main course not too good but price reflects this.
Clean hotel with good, non pretentious and basic Spanish food. Great place for a stopover just on the outskirts of Zaragoza. Ideal base for those with customers to see in the surrounding area
Interiors, cleanliness ...
Over all good for one night stay only which included breakfast. The location is in an industrial/ Commercial areas and no mention of this anywhere. Also, the Hotel restaurant food was very expensive 66 Euros for two meals with one bottle of wine!! No one was there except us on Saturday night! We had a much elaborate and very good food the previous night in France and cost the same?!
Convenient stopover, free WiFi, food available evenings and good breakfast
We found the hotel very useful as an overnight halt ! It was just of the main trunk road between Zaragoza and Sanatander and ideal for our nighthalt on our journey from the Costa Blanca to the ferry terminal at Santander. Staff were very attentive and it was simple but clean. Did not have an evening meal on our stay but the breakfast was included in the price of 55 euros for the two of us and it was everything we needed.Car Parking was also free.
Comfortable, friendly staff, perfectly located for my purpose (business trip), cafeteria very good value for money. Not much around in the area - no restaurants
All the modern comfort in a traditional atmosphere
Very quite hotel The single room is the smallest room I have ever been. By stretching the arms you could touch both walls. Not worth the price.
cleanliness, friendliness difficult to find
Very friendly people at the hotel. All comfort in our room and kept very clean.
Hard to locate, clearer instructions needed. No name sign on Hotel. Locals not aware hotel exists
