A $13 million 2017 renovation gave the 744 one, two, and three-bedroom suites a luxurious homey feel, but the hotel is still known for its amazingly large water park.
The Arizona Grand is nestled against South Mountain in South Phoenix, just off the I-10 Freeway and Baseline Road. Fast food chains and convenience stores are within the immediate area and Sea Life Arizona Aquarium and Legoland in Arizona Mills shopping mall are also nearby. Within 15 minutes, guests can also be at Canyon Trailhead, South Mountain Preserve, the largest municipal park in the world, and Chase Field in downtown Phoenix.
