Pros: Check in was quick and friendly. Rooms are very clean and updated with good taste and elegance. It will be my choice to say next time I visit Mesa, AZ
4.0 Okay
Pros: The location to our function was great. There are a lot of dining establishments close by and the mall is across the freeway from the hotel.
Cons: When we arrived a 4 pm. we were told our room would not be ready for a half an hour. We explained we drove 5.5 hours and needed to tidy up before a dinner function at 5 p.m. We were asked to wait until a room was available. At 4:30 p.m. we were given a room. The room assigned was the first room next to the elevator, the ice machine, the laundry room and the room service room. The walls were thin and we heard doors slamming constantly. Our stay booked through KYAK was for 2 nights. The next day we went exploring. When we came back at 4:30 p.m., our room had not been made up. When I asked if they were short staffed in housekeeping I was told NO. This is the worst La Quinta Inn we have ever stayed at. It's older and other than the lobby, it was not well maintained. The pool furniture was filthy.

6.0 Good
Pros: Staff was friendly Hotel premises was clean inside and out. Elevator Outdoor Pool Very quiet Beds comfortable
Cons: Location, hard to see hotel when driving Location, dubious people nearby (saw a man leaving an adjacent "closed" building carrying a pillow case over his shoulder, climb over a 6ft fence, ran to his nearby SUV, and sped away) First night the toilet fill valve making high pitch squealing noise. Maintenance repaired the next day. Second night flapping noise coming from bath vent all night, but it stopped when the winds stopped. Breakfast bagels and muffins were very dry, almost stale. And mixup on duration of stay, but staff next day accommodated us.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and welcoming hotel. Incredibly quiet and the bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly and the check in/out process was quick.
Cons: The toilet ran periodically, likely due to a leak, so that was distracting during the middle of the night.

Cons: The complimentary breakfast could stay open for another hour.

9.4 Excellent
Pros: Location was great and the staff were understanding and very accommodating . The hotel bar was great
Cons: A Resturant was available in hotel but it's prices were much to high as high class restaurants were nearby and offered affordable meals and a wide variety which wasn't available in hotel. You can't ask high prices for meals with superior competition right next door.

Pros: The bed was so comfortable and and it was quiet. Front desk was friendly.

Pros: The elephant guest upstairs, led to my many noise complaints which the front desk seemingly sympathized with. 2.8 Mediocre
Cons: We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights. It was our worst hotel experience ever. On the 3rd night, around midnight, the fire alarms in the entire hotel went off. The entire hotel was evacuated, seemingly because someone had burned popcorn. On our 4th night, we noticed the sink was filling with water and black sludge while the faucet was NOT on. We alerted hotel management, they did not have someone to fix it until morning and did not have a king size bed to move us to. By the morning, the entire bathroom floor was flooded. Somehow that morning at 7am, they "located" another king size room to move us to. Once we arrived in the second room, we noticed that the flushing mechanism for the toilet was completely busted. We alerted management again and expressed our extreme displeasure. Their response to us, " Well it's a hotel. Things break." The hotel is 15 years old. Terrible, terrible stay, Upon speaking with the management upon leaving, they offered to comp 1 night and that's it. Lovely, NOT.
2.8 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing to like here. The staff was not helpful. The facilities were run down. They were charging way too much for what it is!! Do not be fooled!!!
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: The beds are uncomfortable, no locks on restroom, no clean towels by the pool, TV channel were minimal, didn't have extra pillows when asked, bed sheets were stained, elevator was too slow and towels had a bad odor.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly, well maintained, pet friendly.
Cons: Liked everything.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice clean updated room.
Cons: Breakfast food quality was low. Pre processed egg patties were barely edible
3.4 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Upon our arrival and check in, we were assigned a room on the fifth floor. Having brought a number of items for family members, we needed to unload our vehicle as the Motel is located in a high crime area; full of abandoned buildings which previously housed Night Clubs, Pubs, Movie Theaters, Restaurants, and Strip Malls. I went in search of a luggage cart to speed and easy the task. Not finding any in the area of the elevator, I returned to the lobby and asked the front desk attendant where they stored them. I was informed they could be anywhere in the Hotel. After searching seven floors, I finally found one outside in the parking area. It was the one, and only one for the entire Hotel. Next problem we encountered was when I flushed the stool in the bathroom and water sprayed out from between where the tank sets on the bowl. I notified the front desk of the problem, and following repeated notifications to the front desk of the leak, it was repaired on the fourth day of our stay. During our stay, the fire alarm went off three times resulting in our evacuating the Hotel down five flights. The Hotel was undergoing major repairs due to the roof leaking and major water damage to dry wall in many areas of the Hotel. The quality of the Continental Breakfast was very poor and second rate. We went out for breakfast after the first morning.

5.7 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was ok. Basic but appreciated. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The receptionist was wonderful
Cons: The pool was warm. But in Phx, I guess it's hard for it to be cold. Wish the water was refreshing. The workout room was small. Kids were in there playing. Our room also smelled a little moldy. Think the ac was moldy.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Was curious how it was rated so well and the price so reasonable, so my husband and I decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the room was nice and spacious and very clean. We were so impressed that on our return trip going back home, we made a point of stopping there again. Would highly recommend this facility. D&D OKC, OK
8.5 Excellent
Pros: It was centrally located in the Phoenix area. The staff were all friendly. The rooms were clean. The continental breakfast had a lot of variety, including eggs, sausage, and bacon. The pillows came in three levels of firmness!
Cons: The sink was a little slow to drain, and the bathtub floor had evidence of a tiny bit of wear.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Beds were comfy. Room was spotless! Bathroom very clean. Staff was super friendly. Continental breakfast was a nice surprise and not bad food, I liked the waffles.
Cons: no airport shuttle
8.2 Excellent
Pros: I liked that they let us check in a few hours early. The breakfast they have is good for all ages. The location of the hotel is easy to find, right off the freeway.
Cons: There isn't much that my family and I didn't like about the hotel. The one thing I would have to say is that the rooms are just a little outdated.
4.5 Okay
Pros: The hotel was easy to find. It was clean but rooms need updated.
Cons: The out side door right by my room did not require a room key to inter the hotel. Did not feel safe. When I told the front desk they did not seam concerned at all. " that happens a lot." I was told.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: I stayed in a super 8 prior to this hotel. It was absolutely disgusting. Days Hotel was clean comfortable and affordable
Cons: A little far from where my friends were saying
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and nice room king bed
Cons: Na
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Loved how big the room was and the breakfast.
Cons: Can't say anything negative.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean. We had a king room, very spacious. Lots of room. I was surprised to know that there was a sliding window to open for fresh air... a warm treat for us coming from a snowy area. Unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to use the outdoor pool and hot tub.
Cons: The pillows were small squares, and quite hard. The shower tub was small, and the bottom of the tub curved your feet and made it difficult to stand comfortably in the shower. For breakfast, the eggs tasted like powdered eggs, really BAD powdered eggs. But the make your own waffles were good. We were able to tolerate these " negatives".

Pros: Each room has a covered parking spot right next to the room. There's a kitchenette with a full sized fridge, stove, microwave and plenty of cupboard space. We were able to save money by not eating out as much because of this. Beds were very soft and comfy.
Cons: Would have been nice to have some sort of a vanity in the bathroom and there was a cockroach in the bathroom. Freaked me out but you can't expect all bugs to stay out.

5.4 Okay
Pros: Location - aside from dairy farm.
Cons: Shocked that anyone would build a hotel in the cloud path of multiple dairy farms. No way would I stay here again. I stayed for 3 nights, really planned to leave, but got so busy I didn't. We just suffered being hot at night, because we couldn't use the A/C due to smells.
2.0 Mediocre
Cons: We went to the hotel while our house is being repaired for mold issues. The Kayak website advertised this hotel as clean but that was not true. The first room we got (108) smelled like smoke from cigarettes and the bathroom smelled like pee. We asked for a different room and they gave us 109. The pillows smelled like human sweat and when we were ready to go to bed we noticed small black particles in the sheets. I felt what I can describe as a bug bite and a red rash developed. We (my two kids and my 8-month pregnant wife) packed as fast as we could and we got out of there.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Seemed recently / well updated.
Cons: breakfast starts too late, 7AM

My room was HUGE, clean and nicely furnished with a great little fridge/freezer, microwave and the rest of the standard items. In addition to free continental breakfast, they provide a free dinner every night with free tap or bottled beer and wine!!! The pool faces west so you get sun all the way till sunset. The staff was amazingly friendly...a guy got wasted drunk and threw up in the pool so they asked him to leave the pool, and of course he was quite argumentative, but the manager that was escorting him did an incredible job of calming him down and even carried all his stuff (two coolers and more) for him as he walked him back to his room. The front desk was remarkably friendly, and when my flight landed at the nearby airport (Phoenix-Mesa Gateway), I called them to ask for a shuttle pick up, and before I even hung up the phone the driver was pulling up at the curb. Even the housekeepers were awesome and friendly. It's located kitty-corner from a Circle K that is pretty large with a great selection and a Red Box, and within a mile there's shopping of all sorts including a Target, Fry's, Walmart and plenty of restaurants, all of which are reachable by bus, and there's a bus stop right in front of the hotel. Holy WOW I was BEYOND satisfied with this place!!!
Cons: It would be nice if there was a wider pool deck so that there could be more space between the pool and the fence for lawn chairs so that you could still walk around them, but I made due just fine :)
7.7 Good
Pros: I requested a spacious room and the room I got seemed pretty spacious. The hotel seemed to be a new construction so everything seemed pretty new. Air conditioner held the temperature well. Pool area looked nice, but I ended up not having time to enjoy it.
Cons: This hotel is in Gilbert AZ not Mesa AZ so it is about a twenty minute drive to downtown Mesa. It appears to be near farming land so the fertilizers they use do carry a smell. I was unable to get my first night refunded, because I booked online on kayak and not through them directly. I do not know if they would have given me the refund had I done direct like they were suggesting, but that is how they made it sound. I had a situation where I could not arrive on the first night and had to get a hotel in another city so I paid for two hotel rooms that night.

Cons: No on-site restaurant.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was clean and comfortable. The location is great; close to the airport with convenient shuttle service. I will definitely stay here again.
7.6 Good
Pros: Great hot breakfast every morning. Pretty quiet, room was satisfactory but a little dated with the standard air conditioner under the window. Quick access to the 202. Upside of somewhat isolated location is quiet at night.
Cons: Whew, if smells bother you, be prepared when the wind is the wrong direction from the dairy farm not far away. No cameras in the parking lot, so we couldn't tell whether our rental got keyed there or the shopping center we went to for dinner.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was very helpful to have a shuttle to the airport. Staff was great. Didn't use the pool. Breakfast was good. Nice to have a small bar with appetizers.
6.3 Good
Pros: It was in a good location.
Cons: We did not have hot water any morning during our stay.

Pros: I loved the comfortable bed and the choice of pillows. Every thing was clean and nice, but the bed was Great.
Cons: I only had two problems with my stay. The first problem was the sheets on the bed. They were clean and smelled wonderful, but what ever made the sheets smell so good was really bad for my sinuses, and very much prevented a good night sleep. The second problem was that I could not get the television out of the pay per view mode. I don't know for sure if was operator error, or a user unfriendly remote.

Pros: The hotel was very accommodating. Great service with a high standard room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I had a single queen room that was large, clean, and very comfortable. Computer available in lobby so that I could check into my flight and print my boarding pass ahead of time. Friendly staff.
Cons: There was nothing I didn't like.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: We went to the Phoenix area to visit friends & watch the Diamondbacks. The hotel location was perfect for us, because we used the Mesa airport. Hotel is close to everything you need and want.
Cons: The only thing that didn't impress me was the free breakfast. For most people it was fine. They just didn't have anything I really eat, but I'm a health nut, so continental breakfasts usually don't work for me. They had hot meats, but switched them every day. I ate their bacon, but not the sausage links or scrambled eggs. They also had danishes, fruit, oatmeal, yogurt, boiled eggs, bread, muffins, waffle making station, biscuits/gravy, cold cereal and juices and milk.

Pros: Rooms were clean. Staff was helpful. Great breakfast
4.8 Okay
Pros: We liked their breakfast and location
Cons: Their bathrooms were not clean. There was black hair all of the sides of the wall and looks like the inside of it has never been scrubbed. Sucks that I couldn't wash my children. they have a fridge that was gross . We will not be staying here again
5.1 Okay
