9.1 Excellent
Pros: The service was great. I really felt pampered. The attention to detail was evident. Our butler made us feel welcomed and well cared for. The free snacks available in the room were a nice touch. The bed was very comfortable. Everyone there, from the doorman to the front desk to the cleaning staff made you feel like your well being was a priority.
Cons: Being that the hotel is only 3 stories high a scenic view was lacking. It is a bit pricey so that a longer term stay may be cost prohibitive.

9.7 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful stay in beautiful courtyard patio room. The staff were responsive and helpful without being intrusive. Even when we made difficulty for them (demand for in-room refrigerator; screw up on date of check out; arriving with two vehicles instead of one) the staff handled it superbly and with grace. Loved being near the shops along King St and the restaurants on Meeting and Market. The bar was just that - not a sports locker room or TV lounge; perfect for a drink and a talk. My only frustration was that the weather was nice but not nice enough to dine romantically in the courtyard after dark.
Cons: This is NOT a criticism. The Peninsula Grill (the only in-house eatery) is a fine establishment but expensive with a menu unsuited for anything but fine dining. An in-house or affiliated restaurant serving more family/daily meal focused fare would be an added bonus, especially if combined with some limited ability to have the meal delivered ala room service.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: The location is great. Right in the center of main tourist area but kept very cool and calm once walking through the entrance door One block from main shopping and restaurant area.
Cons: Only thing I can think of would be .. I wish our room had a bath rub instead of just a shower

4.8 Okay
Cons: The room we got was not very suitable to relax... the set up with the tv bed couch was just very awkward. Maybe this is the only room set up this way but it was not very comfortable... the shower leaked into the floor had to place towels to help with the water spilling.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very helpful, and courteous. Checki-in&out both a breeze. The entire grounds were clean and well kept. The pool area looked wonderful but unfortunately the weather wasn't on our side. Rooms were quiet and CLEAN!! Bed also very comfortable. This place is set up like a maze and there weren't very many guests at the time so we didn't hear a lot of traffic people-wise, nor from the very busy highway in front. We WILL be booking here again on our next trip. This was my 1st experience booking a room online ,so you're never sure what you're getting, and I am very happy with the whole experience!!
Cons: That we weren't staying longer to enjoy more! Maybe also the entering and exiting because of the traffic.

Pros: Great!

Pros: I like the fact that it was very quiet and clean. Everyone that we met was business like and hospitable.
Cons: I don't like the fact that you have to use your room card to get out of the pool area. Our cards had gotten demagnetized and would not allow us to get out of the pool area. This seems like a safety concerns. I completely understand needing a card to get in but not out.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Spacious room, friendly staff, nice accommodations.
Cons: Pull out sofa was a bit hard. No free breakfast
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was wonderful friendly staff immaculate room with excellent amenities and an affordable price. Loved it would come back :)

Pros: Nice staff and it was only one week old when we stayed! I think we were the first use of the room we stayed in! The decor was nice and the hotel was convenient to a main road.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: I was surprised to see that there was no breakfast buffet. I haven't traveled much lately, but it seems like for years I've been able to rely on being able to grab I bite to eat (a muffin or something like that - you know, health food ) on my way out the door to my client's office (that being the reason I'm in the hotel in the first place). I was able to get complimentary coffee. But when I figured out that I'd have to sit down and order breakfast, I decided I'd rather go to Starbucks. Or McDonald's. Wherever. So after the first morning I skipped even the comp coffee. So are the hotels all going the way of the airlines - no comp anything anymore?

6.2 Good
Pros: Valet and Bellmen were on point, room was comfortable, location was good.
Cons: Check-in staff was a little stuffy, room window was beside auxiliary generator that came on very loudly while we were there, and a parking deck, NO VIEW AT ALL! Got a text ahead of time to let me know we would be getting a high floor with a view only to get just the opposite. The rooftop bar and restaurant was more of a tourist destination with the feel of a national restaurant chain. Due to the rooftop situation the elevator was crowded and slow.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Friendly staff. Large rooms. Roof top bar was a lovely spot for a late afternoon drink and to watch the sunset over charleston.
Cons: The first room we checked into was smelly and overlooked a parking lot. Terrible room but the hotel was quick to relocate us to a much better room. For the price we paid for our room the first room should not have been given to us. A subpar room for a superior hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location.
Cons: Only issue that we had was the WiFi didn't work well even though we had a router in the room. They changed it out twice & the service was still intermittent. The hotel was slow to respond.

9.7 Excellent
Pros: Right in the center of the historical district. Awesome restaurants and shopping just outside the door. Staff was SO personal and accommodating. We had dining suggestions and felt like we were part of the group immediately. We sat and talked later that night to SuSu. We both said we will stay here on our next trip
Cons: Our room was recently renovated. Due to the cold, fresh air wasn't an option so we were overwhelmed w fumes. They were able to move us and saved the trip. Great 2nd room.

Pros: I absolutely loved staying here! The room was charming and the bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in. The bathroom was just luxurious, with a wonderful soaking tub. The hostess made me feel like a part of her own family, welcoming me back after I'd been out each day and offering to loan me an umbrella and sweater on a cold, windy day in the city. She even went so far as to drive me to my business event one evening after touring me around the city earlier that day. She's a delightful conversationalist too, and each morning she cooked me a sumptuous breakfast that kept me full until nearly dinnertime. 22 Charlotte is definitely the best place to stay in Charleston.
Cons: Nothing -- I absolutely loved staying here!
