The staff were so personable and friendly. They went out of their way to accommodate every issue. Exceptional service, great coffee/tea bar, comfortable surroundings, and convenient inter-net access. Met every need, and made it as close to home as possible. Kudos to Jessica, Les, and Chris, they were a joy to meet and very special people !!! A very enjoyable stay experience, my choice for every visit I make to my old home area. No issues.
Very clean, staff was friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and very nice. The bed was a bit uncomfortable.
Typical good quality Hampton inn. Smallish TV, although it was a flat panel Samsung. The remote worked well. Typical limited channel selection.
Excellent staff and beautiful facility! A real deal for the money! Breakfasts were outstanding. Would recommend to everyone.
Very spacious rooms, updated linens and furniture since last stay. limited breakfast but it was still nice
Wi fi sucked
Remarkably clean and quiet for the star level and rate. The fruit at the free continental breakfast was fresh and abundant. The desk staff were indifferent. When I checked in, the clerk did not greet me when I approached the desk at all. When I checked out, the clerk was on the phone with a personal call (although she did hang up as I handed her the keys)
This place was easy on the budget and a very good location downtown. Parking vouchers were provided for the lot out front. The staff was friendly and the rooms, while a bit dated, were totally sufficient.
Right in the middle of the shops, bars, and fun of Phoenixville, PA. no fitted sheet in the bed, there were two sheets, but neither was fitted (which is small stuff).
Clean room. Comfortable bed Thin walls. A bit noisy
Needed a late check in time and the staff was most accommodating Room and Hotel were clean. Breakfast was good, we got down about 30 minutes before closing and the food was still fresh and hot.
No elevator to second floor
Rooms are a bit dated. Pillows were terrible.
The hotel was well kept, the staff was friendly. Great place to stay, excellent value
One of the better complimentary breakfasts in this price range. Great access to KOP mall. Room was clean and checking in staff were excellent. Just a bit more soundproofing needed to completely block hallway and upstairs toilet flush noises, still able to get a great nights
Breakfast was wonderful, times were great, comfortable room, price was reasonable. nothing
- Clean/Well kept/ new or updated facility - Everything in good repair - Friendly Staff - Very good hot breakfast included - Nice pool and workout room - wonderfully landscaped inner courtyard - close to restaurants/convenience stores/ gas stations - Reasonably priced compared to other local hotels Highly Recommend to those who want a quality place to stay. But must keep budget in mind.
Great location right across from King of Prussia mall. Decent breakfast included Wifi was surprisingly reliable
Beautiful, clean rooms. Beds were very comfortable. Bathroom was roomy and clean. Location had a few shops. Only about 20-30mins from downtown Philly. Free breakfast had average selection. Nothing to write home about.
How Mickey the rooms were later out Nothing
The beds are awesome. I can't recall ever staying in a hotel and the bed being more comfortable than my own bed at home. The location is also great because it is right across the street from the KOP mall. If you don't mind crossing huge intersections, you could easily walk to the mall from there. The breakfast was also really nice, but it was a VERY long walk from the room and difficult to find. We would have been better off getting in the car and driving to the breakfast area considering the amount of time it took and the twists and turns it took to get there. I know this is an older hotel, but seriously - how is there no elevator?? It's clear renovations have been done, but one of those should have been adding an elevator to the older end of the hotel. As we were leaving, we noticed one on the newer end, but in the amount of time it takes to load everything on a cart and drag it to that elevator, we were better off carrying it up and down the stairs ourselves. Lugging all of that up the stairs was a huge disappointment and would definitely cause me to find another hotel if we stayed in that area again.
The walls are very thin. Heard doors open and closing all night long.
The room #310 smelled like cigarette smoke. And the people next door to me were drunk and talking loudly, screaming, singing for three hours in the evening. Very obnoxious. Not your fault.
The room and hotel were very clean! The curtains on each side of the window were only there for decoration. They didn't actually close. This was a problem because the light from the parking lot was directly in front of the window, which made it hard to sleep.
The location Room condition: chair had a large stain and the stuffing was coming out; bedskirt was covered with lint "balls": needed to ask for glasses two days: bedspread was pulled back but bed was never "made", fitted bottom sheet was never totally covering the mattress: clean towels were there but at the same time the soiled towels were left on the floor: Would not stay there again.
The location of the hotel and the fine breakfast the next morning made our stay a pleasure.
My deal was for a King bed and I ended up with 2 queens. There was no change.
We used the room as a base camp for the seminar and award banquet on Friday night. We intended to stay over but with ask the snow we decided to return home after the banquet. It served its purpose well. I hate sliding doors, no privacy, very embarrassing and uncomfortable
The hotel was very nice and the people were very friendly. I was there for the Devon horse show so we did not get to spend much time at the hotel.
Fruit water, nice front staff Renovations.
The staff in restaraunt were great. Also Jeff front desk man was very customer friendly Everyday if not twice a day told them the toilet leaked also the water in toilet was very dingy as well as toilet seat needed changed
I HAD PAID IN ADVANCED RESERVATION AND AFTER TRAVELING ALL DAY I GET THEIR AND THEY GAVE MY ROOM AWAY AND SENT ME TO ANOTHER HOTEL.
We came duriing renovations to the lobby so lots of crowded conditions down there. Also, rooms recently renovated are great-- all suites. BUT-- toilet was broken and never fixed. Front desk calls weren't answered. Chalking it up to the renovation...
It was relatively quiet. Hotel staff was unfriendly, sheets had stains, pay movie service didn't work, exposed fixture in bathroom above show. Tub was too small for a bath. I can't recommend this hotel.
It is a hotel Poor internet
The hotel was nice and the rooms were some what clean The service was awful. The told me the could drive me to a work event and then told me that they dont have a shuttle service on the weekend when I called weeks ahead of time to make sure of this so I didn't have to drive drunk. There was only I e person working the front desk which was Prob why she had an awful additude. And they didn't give me my cookie lol that part I didn't care much about but still thought it was funny. Don't get there breakfast it is soooo awful, powdered egg mix!? Who does that lol the only place Iv even stayed where they could actually mess up breakfast lol crack an egg you last SOB's
The restaurant staff and the bar staff were Excellent We had a lot of people rotating through the dining room .
Nice staff, quiet rooms, good parking area. Our room was clean and had recently been updated. I was concerned by all of the reviews talking about construction noise, but we did not hear or notice any construction underway during our stay on October 29 - 30, 2015. I live in the area and we were just staying there as a treat. In the future, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the hotel to out-of-town visitors.
The room was very nice. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was romantic. Loved gambling. Lost card and would very much love to get it back or a duplicate sent to my home 110 Clear Creek Drive Bear, DE 19701 This would be Greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your cooperation. Please have a great day. Sincerely, Delores McNeill The travel to the nearest restaurant. No smoking in Bedrooms.
Rooms not available at checkin. Casino way too smoky
Convenient for the sports show we were going to and that's about all. Restaurant was fairly good. No window in room, skimpy toiletries, lumpy uncomfortable bed, very noisy room near the elevator. Also, could hear through the walls.
Location is great. Generally clean room. For the price, it was good, but have stayed in other area hotels for similar price and had better accommodations and amenities in room and at the property. Bed was very uncomfortable.
It was great clean and quiet
Clean bed My staying hotel included breakfast but when I checked in hotel they never mention it. Which I paid for it. Also this hotel did not provide bath tub.
Clean, friendly staff, excellent service
The comfortable room, and helpful staff Bathroom needs updating
engineers are responsive people!thank you for the way you do,the stuff on the front desk and shuttle drivers are doin' great.tnx for your attitude troubles with hot water availability air conditioner sounds like a jet plane) do not use the taxi services they call on the front desk(strange and rude behaviour(
Loved the room and the bed was so soft! I think they sold us on what new bed we want! Didn't like the pull out handle to turn the water on. Strange.
Room service had good food The walk to the casino was very long the restaurant s on site were very poor.
Everything!!! I didn't stay longer
Nice hotel, with very comfortable rooms WiFi was not free
Clean, close to mall
This hotel was very clean and comfy. Location was great. Perfect for a weekend getaway. Our only complaint is the shower door, or lack of. Looks nice but since it was very cold outside, we couldn't get the heat to stay in the room, it made for a cold shower. We put towel at the door so the cold air would quit coming in from the hallway and by the time we went to sleep it had warmed up.
Bed was comfortable No signs stating when the pool and jacuzzi closed. Front desk was rude when asked about the shuttle services. Lack of courtesy, dog down the hall in a room barked all night
Nice staff. Good breakfast. Room was much smaller than anticipated, thought there was going to be a pull out bed and there wasn't even a couch.
Nice place and the best hotel breakfast that I have ever seen. We asked for a crib and did not have one.
Choices of food at breakfast . Late hours for pool .
This is very close to where I was working for the week. The complimentary omelettes are a nice touch. Aside from breakfast, the food is mediocre.
I enjoy my stay here the room was nice and roomy love the decor The room I was in had ants in hotel staff came and dealt with it but still ants
Nice gym/pool/hot tub to relax. My friends and I stayed in 3 rooms. I was charged for parking and internet when the other rooms were not. Very unfair and tricky staff at the front desk.
No major problems with anything. Room, facilities, food were all fine for my purpose (business) for a 1-day stay. I was surprised that there were no snacks and a very limited selection of drinks in the Concierge Lounge during the day.
The lobby staff was very professional and attentive.
Cleanliness, comfortable beds, library
Had stayed here previously and don't remember the A/C problem and chose to go back again. I'd probably go return. Air conditioner noisy and cycled all night waking me up. It blew across the bed...when it was running, too cool, so had to cover up. After it stopped, it was too hot, had to kick off covers. Finally at 2am I got up and turned it off! It was not a good night's sleep! Minor problem, only one of the two elevators was running making wait time very long. Heard many complaints from fellow riders about how long they had to wait and how crowded it was once the elevator stopped.
Decent hotel. Clean decent rooms. Staff was pleasant. Youth hockey convention....kids running through halls yelling and screaming. Had to complain twice once when we got there and another time overnight.
Ac was loud, the door handle was not working properly
The hotel was well maintained, clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and the complimentary breakfast was very good. Only negative was the noise from the local interstate not far outside our hotel room window.
Bargain for the cost, especially considering we stayed on a holiday weekend. Location is only 15-20 minutes from the Philadelphia Zoo, which we appreciated. Breakfast was tasty and main food items changed daily in our 3-day stay.
I just enjoyed my time spent here with family. The pool was fun. We went about 4 times that weekend we were there. Not many people in there. Breakfast was delicious and hot. We had a problem with the bathtub and called many times. The building guy came once but no one word from anyone else all weekend.
Clean and comfortable. The staff give misinformation which reflect the lack of training received from managers. When issues arise due to the incorrect information provided by staff, the customer is liable for paying in full. They should be honest and take responsibility for their errors, but they dont. The hotel is not accessible as stated.
The price and cleaniness of the room! The staff was awesome! The breakfast could have been better. The only good thing was the Belgian waffles!!!
Manager was pleasant. No help with luggage at checkin, have a bad back and was in a visible back brace. Room was prepaid. Was asked for credit card at checkin and my personal checking account was charged for 2 days. Was out during the day, could only speak with evening staff. The 1st person said she would call me back about it and never did. Next night, I was told that only the manager could fix it and was not able to do this until check out. The charge was for $265. Lucky that it did not cause me to go into overdraft. It was not removed until the day after I returned home. No refrigerator or microwave in the room. Food in their restaurant was very overpriced. Staff at check in were snobby and indifferent. Room was over priced, wet carpet and night table beside the bed. Sheets were changed only once in 5 days. Bathroom had a mildew smell. Air conditioning unit was very loud. Room was at the end of a very long hall. Not great for someone with a bad back.
Breakfast that was included was very good. Staff very friendly.
pool and hot tub food too expensive
location, property, rooms, breakfast buffet (monday - saturday) staff ignored us. card key broken, told to wait for manager. never show. eventually got keys, told manager would call, never did, empty liquor bottle under bed in room, old coffee cups left in room.
It is very cozy and quiet. I didn't like the fact that I didn't get a chance to have dinner there. I had lunch and it was excellent.
hotel has great old world charm along with all the idiosyncrasies of creaky floor boards and micro bathroom. if you love the history you have to live that too.. also loved meeting up with Tom and Patrick and Clive who was charming. I don't like the tipping system having lived out of the US for over 20 years but I do understand the need for it. Food was just OK I found it a bit fussy. the service was excellent. they clearly have a great local following.
A first class operation and staff. The room was great, as were the meals and customer service! Definitely choose this B&B over any nearby hotels.
The appearance, the spaciousness of the room and the antique furniture! No! I loved this hotel and recommended it to the the people in my training class.
The rooms where very clean and the staff was very hospitable and friendly. The continual breakfast was fantastic. My overall experience was truly remarkable.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel seemed to be relatively new and clean. Check in and out was very quick. The vending machines did not work properly. Not all baked items on the breakfast were fresh. Commercial properties were limited to a car dealerships, financial and one quick stop with gas in the immediate area.
Clean rooms, nice free breakfast. Only downside was when we called the front desk for pillows and a toothbrush, they made us come down to the front desk to get them. In my past experiences, I have usually received items directly to the room. To me, this exhibited some laziness on the hotels staff's part See above
Convenience on the road. I reserved a room at Hampton Inn, Malvern because it was close to two local historic sites that I wanted to visit. The desk clerk referred me to a friendy Episcopal Church just a short drive away, which suited my Sunday needs very well. The room accomodation had several welcome conveniences such as fridge, microwave oven, coffee/tea maker, TV and was very quiet and fresh. The bathroom was supplied with thoughtful items. A large room had been provided for breakfast for a sports/family event in the area so the breakfast bar was adequately accomodating for just regular folk. I will definitely stay here again while visiting family in the area. One very small problem with the room was that the bathtub plug did not function to stop water flowing out. I also found that the room a/c unit could not be programed to my preferred temperature, which is higher than the default cooling setting
The air wouldnt turn off in 604
Location was good. Bed was comfortable. Cleanliness could be improved. Dust in the room, hairs on the towels, sections of carpet were stained. My refrigerator was broken but the manager on duty was kind enough to replace it himself. That impressed me.
