From the moment we stepped off the plane it was a wonderful, magical experience. The staff, property, amenities & grounds were fantastic. Beautiful rooms and great bathroom amenities. Really a special place.
Very friendly staff. As many German guests stay at the hotel, staff even has German lessons. Wonderful beach - with great service (e.g. comlimentary yoghurt; beer in ice bucket; shower at the beach; no sales people around)
While the weather was not brilliant ( end of wet season) we still really enjoyed ourselves. The staff were brilliant helping you and very courteous. Lovely little bars/eateries close by also and very good value for money.
La Veranda Resort is a friendly and comfortable hotel offering clean facilities of high standard and great dining facilities with a wide selection of food.
The cocktail drinks are not of bar standards (could be improved).
It was a peaceful place to finish my trip around Vietnam. It's got good facilities and easy access to a great beach.
The perfect spot to relax on Phuquoc Island. Our 1 bedroom villa was cozy and comfortably air conditioned. It was unseasonably hot during our stay, not sure April is the best month for travel here. The resort is beautiful, staff professional and gracious. Food delicious. We'd highly recommend the property.
The Hotel is just a dream with kind and well trained stuff.
Everything! Couldn't fault anything, it was perfect.
Lovely welcome from the staff - right after I booked on Booking.com, the hotel contacted ME directly to ask when I'd be arriving so they could pick me up from the airport- they even checked ahead to see whether the flight was on time. Secluded and quiet. Great private beach. Loved the colonial style appearance. Really efficient maid service in the mornings and great turn down service at night. Lovely, inexpensive little place to eat just outside the gates so I didn't eat there in the evenings. Breakfast was great, though, with loads of variety - Western and Asian!
Try to avoid a room on the bottom floor if you are in one of the two storey buildings - the tiled floors are beautiful, but they echo the noise of furniture or anything else moving accross the floor of the room above - a pity the builders did not install soundproofing between floors, but that was the only negative I could think of.
Beautiful colonial style hotel set in lush gardens and with it's own beach. Some lovely little thoughtful little touches and nice pool area. Good restaurants for every budget nearby if you don't want to eat in the hotel which is quite expensive.
