Pros: "Flight attendants were amazingly awesome !"
Cons: "Foooood Asiana airline foods are worst"
Pros: "The seat was comfortable"
Cons: "The vegetarian ovo lacteo food could be much better. Because I am vegetarian doesn’t mean I can’t eat chocolate"
Pros: "Nothing! They made me very upset!"
Cons: "They made me cancel my 6 month stay to a 30 day stay when I arrived at the airport, otherwise they would not allow me on the plane! They said I needed a vista for the length of stay which I always get when I am in Manila for the past 8-10 years that I have been going without any prior warning before I confirmed this booking! I was charged $500.00 to change the departure date! Outrageous!"
Pros: "After took off 5-6hours later very bad smalls comes from the bathroom."
Pros: "Overall the boarding experience and crew were some of the best I've had. Food was excellent and wine pairings were spot on."
Cons: "The entertainment selection was pretty limited and without Wi-Fi on the flight, it was the only thing available to pass the time. Would have been nice to see a larger selection of things to watch while in transit or available Wi-Fi service to browse on my own devices."
Pros: "Staff and flight crew were all really nice, very professional and attentive. Decent range of video/movies available. 2 meals - ok"
Cons: "Delays on both legs of flight- significant and multiple delays from jfk to icn... made the experience not so great, as my daughters 1st time flying this didn't help - and no compensation at all. Emails and notifications not in english! Not given an actual reason for flight delay. Seats VERY uncomfortable, might as well be no cushioning on the seats in economy. With such long flights you would think that an airline would want even economy to be somewhat comfortable sitting for 14hrs or more"
Pros: "The entertainment had a good selection, although the headphones and connection on the armrest wasn't perfect. Also the food had a pretty good selection."
Cons: "The discomfort of being on such a long flight. Hard to be comfortable. And unable to sleep for any stretch of time."
Pros: "Service and food"
Pros: "Excellent personnel, really polite and helpful all the way"
Pros: "Spacious plane"
Pros: "Great seats & crew"
Pros: "Superior attentive and hospitable staff. Will def book them again!!!"
Pros: "The food was good and the service was great. The flight attendants were very attentive."
Cons: "I had to pay $200 for an extra bag because they told me that my bags were all over weight. Come to find out, the scale was broken and my bags were actually underweight. So I ended up with 5 bags instead of 3. My main issue was comfortability. Due to the person behind me, I couldn’t push my chair back and so I had find different ways to sleep."
Cons: "when they leave laugage in korea and they deliver within 2 days"
Pros: "Great friendly staff, good food."
Cons: "Both legs were late, the first nearly making me miss the next. Lost my only suitcase for the trips. Seats are really uncomfortable."
Cons: "NO OUTLETS IN SEATS FOR 14 HOURS AND TV FROM 1990"
Pros: "i like the simplicity. Asiana landed in korea Incheon which i love."
Cons: "i had to pay 200$ for an extra bag which was overweight. maybe it’s my fault but 200$ is a lot"
Pros: "Delicious food."
Cons: "4 hour delay"
Cons: "few new movies in the list"
Pros: "It was nice to know that JetBlue and Asiana are connected. I did not need to claim and check my suitcase for the connecting flights anymore. The entertainment device was also nice."
Cons: "I think JFK rather than Asiana was the issue. It was quite cold inside the boarding area, and the waiting area happened to be unpleasant because of a lack of seats and the noise. The announcements before boarding happened to be annoying. Lavatory happened to become quite messy at the end of the flight."
Pros: "Chair to chair distance is spacious."
Cons: "Being stuck on the runway for more than 7 hrs with "mechanical problems" was to much!! Than getting off & told to wait from 8pm till 3am for next flight had to sleep on the airport floor!! Was told we couldn't leave because no one to check us in at 3am! I'm only 10min away from airport!! Then when I finally got to Manila they left my bags in Korea! I had to wait till midnight before I could get my bags!! So i couldn't get a flight to a smaller island I was heading to! To meet friends they totally screwed my vacation!!"
Pros: "Overall smooth flight and pleasant staff"
Cons: "Seats weren't totally clean"
Pros: "food was ok but. sandwich was the worst i have ever seen."
Cons: "boarding was confusing."
Pros: "I saved my points, rolled points and purchased everything I could to be able to take Asiana first class from JFK-Seoul (Incheon). Pretty much a dream. 14 hours and I could have gone longer. Put it on your travel bucket list if you are heading to Asia."
Pros: "Service is very polite. Attendants are some of the nicest I've ever met, though their English (and PA announcements, etc) will be a bit hard to understand unless you're used to communicating with folks for whom English is a second language. They're also all softspoken, which is very soothing, but even harder to understand what they're saying! Seats are also BIG and have a great recline (seat and seat back) on the Airbus. Flying on a daytime departure from NYC to ICN I had a lot of empty seats to stretch out on and it was pretty quiet for a long flight to Asia."
Cons: "Seats are HARD! I'm not sure how you even make a hard airplane seat but they've figured it out on the Airbus for sure. The solution: get a second pillow to use as a seat cushion. Solves the problem. Also, the "upgrade" to the bulkhead seat is only good if you have a baby in a carrier or really long legs. If you like having your bags near you, or want to keep stuff at your feet to work on, or like to raise the arm between seats, or have a tray table and pocket in front of you... you won't have any of those in the bulkhead upgrade seat. And the phone customer support simply doesn't know enough English to explain these things properly. Fortunately someone else was happy to switch with me. Lastly, they really don't understand that special meals do not need to lack in flavor. Non-Lactose Meals are super boring in flavor - and there was no reason at all not to serve the bulgogi or spicy pork dishes for the NLML! They seemed surprised when I asked to switch it, which suggests to me that the attendants don't even know what 'non-lactose' means, though they were very sweet about confirming and delivering me my special (bland) meals. But asking for a packet of gochujang solves that problem!"
Pros: "Food was OK but nothing spectacular. Variety of beverage is OK, there was a snack in between meals, overall, the flight is good and by expectation for the price I got for the tickets."
Cons: "the seats are not comfortable,"
Pros: "Great entertainment options. Great service. Delayed flight for 2 hrs"
Cons: "They lost my bag"
Pros: "Great modern, spacious and quiet plane Airbus 380, great entertainment options."
Pros: "service and food"
Pros: "Crew very polite; food was really good; in flight entertainment good; and plane was modern and clean. Most imprtantly our check in agent was very capable and helpful. We had a hard time checking in on line, and as a person in my 60s I very much need an asile seat which she arranged. Check in was extremely efficient in a crowded airport. Would definitley fly again."
Cons: "Check in website not good. Could not choose seats in advance. This could be much better."
Pros: "The food selection is good and the service is tiptop. Highly recommend"
Pros: "Good service"
Cons: "2/4 bathrooms were out of order"
Pros: "Crew was nice and competent"
Cons: "Cabin lights went on three quarters into the flight and wouldn't go out and there wasn't enough water"
Pros: "The flight was on time, the people in the plane were very polite and the movies available were very varied and good."
Cons: "Everything was good."
Pros: "Plane was clean and attendants polite"
Cons: "Boarding seemed very random as no rows were called."
Pros: "Crew were professional, helpful and attentive. Food was good for economy class. I have never seen a plane board so fast and I will fly with them again."
Cons: "Couple inches more leg room."
Pros: "The flight attendants were responsive and polite. The foot rests at the economy seats were a nice bonus. The bathrooms were well stocked and mostly clean. The entertainment was OK. There were mostly action movies which aren't my thing."
Cons: "The check-in line was about an hour long. There were way too few people at the counters for a very large plane. I pre-weighed my bags on scales that weren't being used and moved things around. The really stressful part was my carry on bag. It was overweight and transferred things to my handbag and into my suitcases as much as I could. The only things in my carry on were my laptop and medication. It was still 2 kilos overweight. I appealed to the manager who said I had to check it. Checking a bag with my medication would be dangerous to my health and we know they wouldn't reimburse me for the theft of my laptop. The manager, Yeonju Lee (first name may be spelled incorrectly) was completely inflexible and devoid of compassion as was the check in agent. They said the restriction was due to security measures, which is a lie. I've traveled all over the world with carry on over 20 pounds and there has never been a problem. They said I had to correct the problem in 7 minutes or I would not be allowed on the plane. Ultimately, I almost missed the flight. I had to ask people in the security line if I could go ahead of them. If I can avoid it, I will never fly Asiana again. The seats are hard as rocks which is difficult for a 14 hour flight."
Pros: "The hospitality was excellent and the flight flawless."
Cons: "The migraines from traveling to the other side of the world."
Pros: "It was a very efficient flight. Everything was just quick. The flight crew did everything in a very programmed way."
Cons: "Nothing really"
Pros: "The food was excellent. Possibly the best plane food I've ever had. The crew was friendly, despite subpar service."
Cons: "To start, the flight was delayed, and the gate crew did not provide us with any useful information throughout the delay. The service on this flight was very slow. This was exemplified by the fact that I was only able to obtain 2 beverages on a nearly 13 hour flight in business class, despite my constant queries. The seats were also relatively small and uncomfortable for business class, and definitely not up to par with other A380s I flown (e.g. Emirates is far superior). As a tall person, this is important to me, so I was pretty unhappy about this. Lastly, the entertainment options on the flight were unbelievably bad. Almost all the programs were Korean, and the few English-speaking programs were terrible. Truly, this is the worst entertainment selection I have ever seen on any international flight."
