Pros: I stayed one night at Courtyard Alexandria for a business trip. Once I arrived, parking was great, the staff was very welcoming, and the lobby was actually active with people at the bar or just hanging out with friends, etc. The check in process was very quick which was great after a long day of traveling and work. The room was clean, spacious, and had all of the amenities I was looking for. Microwave, coffee machine, and the refrigerator were great to have. The location was great as there were many restaurants and stores within walking distance or a few minutes drive.
Cons: I had a hard time finding the place initially because it's behind other businesses and fast food restaurants. But after driving around the area for a while, I finally found access to the hotel. A sign from the street saying "enter here for Courtyard Marriott" might have been helpful.
Pros: I liked the cleanliness, the layout, and overall ambiance.
Cons: The pillows were rocks!

Pros: Room was large, modern and well appointed, in a safe location and very clean. Room and hotel were quiet. The bed is comfortable.
Cons: Breakfast was not good; their idea of protein food on the weekend is boiled eggs and sliced cheese. Meat, scrambled eggs, etc. only served on weekdays. POOR WATER PRESSURE; took 10 minutes to fill bathtub.
Cons: forgot to clean our room took over an hour to get towels to room after 4 calls
Pros: The cleanliness and the appearance of the room were very impressive. We were very satisfied with our visit.
Pros: Clean and comfortable. Bed was one of the best I have slept in ever.
Pros: We were very pleased with the customer service when we checked in. He was very kind and professional.
Cons: There are no cameras outside of the hotel. Breakfast was horrible trash cans were over flowing with trash, waffle batter took forever to get refilled, syrup was out, and the boiled eggs were spoiled. Customers has to wait for staff to get their breakfast.
Pros: The staff was exceptionally nice.
Pros: This hotel and staff is awesome. I have a new favorite place to stay despite the traffic at Christmas around the mall.
Pros: Everything was awesome!
Pros: Everything! Nice sized room, bed was comfortable and the location is good.

Pros: Beautiful clean room
Right off the Highway
Pros: We went for a baseball tournament. All of the families stayed here and it was great! They had a little store in the front that had everything you could need with reasonable prices. We will def go back! Staff was very friendly, the rooms were clean and bigger than I expected, and the beds were comfy!
Cons: Softer sheets are needed, but that is my only "no so good" review.

Take advantage of the Candlewood Cupboard store for a midnight snack. Spread out with our large desk space and settle in to your home away from home as we look to accomodate the long-term guest while they visit Alexandria.
Pros: there was nothing to like. we were too tired to go somewhere else.
Cons: flies breeding in our room, hair in the bathtub, carpet frayed and pulling up, short of towels,
we received a free with our room breakfast but were afraid to eat it.
Pros: Chose this hotel because of indoor pool and complimentary breakfast which I saw as great features for the two 5 yo kids and for my baby boomer parents.
Cons: 1) The hotel consisted of a number of disjointed buildings which was a hassle with the rain.
2) Customer service at the front desk level was horrible. I asked for a few extra bags of caffeinated coffee and was told that there was " Not anymore caffeinated coffee in the entire hotel". Luckily the maids reached into their carts and obliged with terrific attitudes.
3) Staff working the complimentary breakfast gave NO smiles and appeared to be annoyed that ppl showed up. We received a prepackaged cereal box that had been obviously opened previously.
4) Rooms were small, poorly cleaned, & lacking in soap, towels (of all sizes), and toiletries, including toilet paper! There was one (1) bar of soap and 3 towels for a room booked for 3 adults and 2 tots.
Overall experience: POOR
I would not stay there again!
Pros: Liked having breakfast at the inn. It was quite good, although they picked up immediately at the closing time! With the two restaurants next store didn't mind not being able to eat at the inn.
Cons: Main problem with location was trying to get to the inn from the main highway. Had problem accessing Frontage Rd.( I think that was the name), particularly at night.

Cons: The first 2 rooms we were in had little or no AC. After moving to our 3rd room we finally had a room with AC. The 3rd room had 3 lamps. Out of all 3 lamps there was only 1 lamp that had light bulbs in it, and only 1 worked. VERY LITTLE LIGHT!
Cons: No free breakfast!
Pros: large room, very tidy, nice price
Cons: one entrance
Pros: Location, cleaniliness, price
Pros: clean friendly staff really good breakfast
Pros: Comfortable bed and clean room.
Cons: The gym needs a little work.
Pros: It was near where I need to go in town.
Cons: It was way over priced for what it was. It was very run down and there were stains on the furniture and the place has a bad stale odor.
Pros: Nice room, later out well. Clean .
Cons: Room was not ready at 3:00 pm check in time. Smell of smoke overpowered air freshener.
Pros: Friendly staff; rooms were clean; bed was excellent-very comfortable!
Cons: A little rough around the edges;could be cleaner in stairwell and hallways.
Pros: The only good thing about this hotel was the new employee that handled the happy hour duty, was very pleasant, and helpful.
Cons: Had to ask for toilet paper twice.Dirty elevator. Not safe due to non guest staying in the lobby all night. Also, hanging out in cars in the parking lot all night.Very unsafe.Went through many times, and nobody was ever at the front desk.Strange, and scary.
Pros: Front desk staff was amazing about handling an early check in issue that I was faced with. Very professional and courteous.
Cons: The back door was not locked during my stay.
Pros: Easily accessable but out of the main flow of traffic.
Cons: Accidentally booked a smoking room. My fault but it was the last room at the hotel so I couldn't swap. Room was ok other than the smoky smell.

Cons: There was smoking on my floor and I was not informed of this when I checked in. I am not used to there being smoking inside anymore and i didn't think to ask. I am not a smoker. The hall smelled like cigarette smoke as well as my room. The front desk person told me that there was a smoking suite on the 2nd floor where my room was, but that there were no other rooms available. There was an ashtray in my room, but she said my room was not a smoking room. There was not any signs saying no smoking though. Luckily the window opened and it was cool enough outside to sleep with the window open.
Pros: The location was perfect for the purpose of our trip. Hotel staff were accommodating.
Cons: The breakfast was a bit lacking.

Pros: Bathroom was filthy, toilet had a ring around it. Shower was dirty, hair in the shower. Asked for new room, and was moved to another room that had dirty urinated bed sheets and spiders on the bed. Was very disappointed in Super 8 and for 129$ a night.

Cons: The hot water did not work for both nights. The wifi also did not work.. it kept kicking me off after only a minute.
Pros: ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!
Cons: The room stunk, the carpet was sticky, the night manager kept us up all night banging and kicking on the room next to us, highly overpriced for quality of room, held a $50 damage fee on my credit card for 3 days after we had checked out. Worst hotel EVER!
Pros: The front desk at check in and check out were excellent. Hotel employee was particularly good and also knew the community and made excellent suggestions for supper.
Cons: No. Would have no reservations about staying there again if I was in Alexandria.
Pros: It had a bed in it.
Cons: The swimming pool was closed due to the filth, it was green & slimy. It had rats that kept us awake at night. The upstairs bathroom flooded so it flooded our bathroom. And you could tell it had happened many times in the past. The shower curtain fell. sic
Cons: Yes horrible staff
I wouldn't stay here again if they paid me
Pros: Wanted 2 beds only got 1. Room was nasty and staff was rude
Cons: All of it
Pros: The lady was very welcoming when I checked in.
Cons: The bed was uncomfortable, the sheets felt like I was laying on sandpaper, and I would have been better off sleeping with a balled up towel instead of those pillows!
Vending and ice machine area ehhhhh.... Headboards or old dressers in hallways...
Cons: Friendly staff
Should have been cheaper
Pros: Large variety of breakfast items, friendly staff, comfy beds
Cons: Pool was dirty and very small compared to pics which was very upsetting because after a stressful week I wanted to relax in the pool.
nothing to say, except HORRIBLE!
Cons: Alot! The floors were terrible! Dirty, had crumbs all over, smelled the mold, found a couple of cheese wrappers on the desk, hair in the bathtub, on towels and on floor, around the edges of the bathroom floor were just disgusting! Microwave was even dirty
It was not worth the money spent. There were (all booked) better rooms for the cost. I should have booked early. I will never book there again.
Pros: It was close to the ball park.
Cons: The hotel was dirty, old, and run down looking. The carpets/room smelled and the gym area really had a bad ob odor.
Priceline isn't what it used to be. My initial bid was rejected and I was told that if I bid ---, my offer would be accepted. Years ago, I made offers for hotels on Priceline frequently and was always pleasantly surprised with superb results. Based on these prior experiences I agreed to pay the ---, only to find that I got a room priced every day at--- with no bidding (on Priceline.com!). The approval rating for this hotel was only 61% (on Priceline.com!). Naming 'my own price', LOL, Priceline extracted full price from me for some very average accommodations. As I was headed to the hotel, a friend in need of a room offered to pay half if there were two double beds. I called and the attendant said I had one bed and no changes could be made, not even an upgrade for additional money. BTW, the hotel was EMPTY that night! NEVER AGAIN PRICELINE!!!
Pros: The room was small, but clean, no smells, and comfortable. A tiny double bed is all you will get bidding on Priceline.
Cons: I called for details about the room Priceline got me. The attendant said it was a queen which turned out to be a double. It was the smallest hotel room in America. It didn't seem to be used very often. I think it's reserved for Priceline customers only.
Get more value for your hard-earned money at the Quality Inn hotel in Alexandria, LA, which lets you relax and focus on the people and experiences that you came for. At least 1 adult 21/older must be in each room. USD50 deposit required of guests paying with cash/debit card.
Cons: We were turned away because they do not rent to locals? Very odd policy. Turned out to be good for us because the Holiday Inn across the street was much cleaner.
Pros: I liked the design of the pool and the people we met while staying there. I liked that they gave us two beds when we accidentally clicked to reserve one, and I liked the way they designed the bathroom, with the sink in a corner vs taking up a whole wall. But after that my review goes down hill.
Cons: When we drove up we thought the place was closed, all the windows were darkened on the most prominent building. We weaved our way through the crumbling parking lot and then decovered the real front entrance. Behind a lg fix-it van a long haired man was laying on his back in the grass to the right of the doors. We made our way inside and the staff greatest us with dead eyes and no smiles. I glanced out to the pool we were so looking forward to and I noted the grass was overgrown and there were beer bottles and cigarett butts here and there. Gross. We had to wait extra long for the computers to load but we finally got a room without any friendly exchang from the desk worker. Our room was clean but smelled like it was sprayed down with old cologne. Most of the furnishings were pretty beat up but the beds were nice. I later had to take a trip to our car and noticed how untrimmed and unkempt the landscaping was. We couldn't decide if we wanted breakfast there or out but it's a good thing we chose to enjoy sleeping in because at 8 the place was busting with people but the staff couldn't catch up because they were still setting up. There was some hot items out but most people were waiting on forks and spoons or milk. Needless to say I was sad we didn't rebook at Comfort Suits over by Cracker Barrel were we booked on our way to TX, we felt pampered there and paid about the same if not less.
Pros: The staff was very friendly and welcoming.
Cons: Bathroom was fairly clean but random hairs, humid room could be addressed.
Pros: The location of the hotel was good and close to everything you need in this small town , like Near a convention and conference center and not too far from the airport. They served a nice hot breakfast and the staff was pleasant.
Cons: Business client tracked foot prints of mud in on carpet and it stay on the floor for two days. People were allowed to sit outside in hallways talking late into the night. The breakfast area was overly packed and kept running out of food. And the pool area was really for looks, it was very small, not clean and juccuzi had no heat and it was not clean either.
Pros: Price is fine and is close to everthing
Pros: good location, courteous staff, clean rooms

Cons: The room is worn out. Reclining chair - broken. Bathroom door didn't close. Anything metal was rusted. Bathroom counter and sink cracked. The walls are very thin and of course we had the lord couple in the room next door.

Cons: Yes the Central Heater wouldn't go pass 78 degrees, other then that I was pleased.
Cons: Totally Unacceptable... Strong paint smell... Unable to stay in room... Hereby requesting full refund... Notified front desk clerk within 5 minutes of vacating room...
Pros: Warm, friendly, professional staff. Greeted quickly and efficiently. Exceeded my expectations!
Pros: It was relatively safe and a cheap place to spend the night.
Cons: It smelled like the smoking rooms below were vented through the non smoking room we had on the second floor. The coffee maker was dirty, with a used coffee pod inside.
Pros: Bed was very comfy and rooms were amazingly clean. My stay was enjoyable
Cons: They offer free wi-fi but good luck getting any signal. Never worked for more than 1 minute before kicking me out.
Pros: location convenient, staff very nice and helpful. price/value good.
Cons: lobby / breakfast area small and not very 'inviting'
Pros: Room was nice and clean in the price you pay!
Pros: The outside rooms
Cons: Everything! Rude rude rude ppl at check in. Room stink, rooms are nasty. They sit have enough towels for every room to have one extra. The housekeepers need major training. I would hate to see there houses..
Pros: Convienent access to I-49, breakfast was below average but ok. Staff were friendly. Room was good for the price.
Pros: Location and it wasn't as loud as some others.
Cons: The front door didn't close very well. Looked like it had been broken into before. Once inside deadbolt worked fine though.
Pros: The hotel has wifi and was clean. For the price it was worth it. Will probably stay again. Didn't get to enjoy the free continental breakfast but it was available.
