Pros:I liked the design of the pool and the people we met while staying there. I liked that they gave us two beds when we accidentally clicked to reserve one, and I liked the way they designed the bathroom, with the sink in a corner vs taking up a whole wall. But after that my review goes down hill.
Cons:When we drove up we thought the place was closed, all the windows were darkened on the most prominent building. We weaved our way through the crumbling parking lot and then decovered the real front entrance. Behind a lg fix-it van a long haired man was laying on his back in the grass to the right of the doors. We made our way inside and the staff greatest us with dead eyes and no smiles. I glanced out to the pool we were so looking forward to and I noted the grass was overgrown and there were beer bottles and cigarett butts here and there. Gross. We had to wait extra long for the computers to load but we finally got a room without any friendly exchang from the desk worker. Our room was clean but smelled like it was sprayed down with old cologne. Most of the furnishings were pretty beat up but the beds were nice. I later had to take a trip to our car and noticed how untrimmed and unkempt the landscaping was. We couldn't decide if we wanted breakfast there or out but it's a good thing we chose to enjoy sleeping in because at 8 the place was busting with people but the staff couldn't catch up because they were still setting up. There was some hot items out but most people were waiting on forks and spoons or milk. Needless to say I was sad we didn't rebook at Comfort Suits over by Cracker Barrel were we booked on our way to TX, we felt pampered there and paid about the same if not less.
