Pros: What's not to like! The place is charming. Comfortable. A short walk to great places to eat. And eat! - the breakfast at this property was fabulous...... the owner rapidly became a friend. Go back? Plan to!
Cons: I'm nearing 80 years old... the trek of the stairs would present a minor problem is your bag was too big or heavy for you. Otherwise - this places rates 100+

Pros: The decor was magnificent; the attention to detail; the breakfast superb; the hostess was delightful and the cat an added bonus! Parking on the street and walking distance to all the main part of town. Totally quiet.
Cons: Only thing that could have been better was to have a little outside space but due to the weather, we could not use the outside terrace.

Pros: The owner, Roselle, has created a charming little guesthouse with great attention to detail and comfort. Our room was very attractive with roomy bed and stylish shower room. Breakfast was fresh & tasty. We would recommend it to anyone wanting to explore the vibrant little harbour town of Port-Aven.
Cons: Nothing at all - it was just as we"d hoped it would be.

Pros: The rooms are very clean and spacious. Close enough to the main town without being busy right outside your door. Great breakfast by the host who was very friendly and accommodating. Free parking available 2-3 minute walk away.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Our room was superb, beautifully decorated with handmade items. The shower room was spacious and very well appointed. Breakfast was a delight of the highest quality - regional specialities, mostly homemade. We ate far too much as it was all so good. A savoury option was offered when our hostess discovered that one of us is diabetic. Our hostess was so friendly and very helpful as well. Nothing was too much trouble.
Cons: The guest rooms are in the attic. The bed was 2 x 1 metre beds pushed together. Something a little smaller would have been quite adequate and given more headroom under the sloping roof sections.

Pros: Excellent service and value for money. The owners were both friendly and welcoming. The accommodation was spacious, with rustic charm in a stunning setting. We'd stayed the previous night in a chain hotel and paid double the amount. Cons: Everything is really nice except for the mattresses which are old and very unconfortable. For me this is the first service a good hotel must give to a customer. Pros: Very comfortable, lovely breakfast, lovely hosts very helpful!
Cons: Steep stairs to rooms.
7.5 Good
Pros: The owners are very accessible and affable during our stay. We were next to another room, but we didn't hear anything. Breakfast was good, with a lot of choices and comfortable.
Cons: Our room had a hot tub literally next to the bed. Only the WC was in a separate, the rest was built-in with the master bed. Which was a little bit uncomfortable in terms of privacy, also because, after a shower, all the room was full of steam. I like the property, but I definitely won't take the same room (we were at room 4)

Cons: It was not within waking distance of the town so to have dinner one had to drive therefore not able to have a drink with dinner. I did not like the stairs to the bedrooms. Just like a ships stairway. Not suitable for two 75 year olds with luggage.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly, relaxed and homely
Cons: Hair dryer unwieldy.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place became my home very quickly. I originally booked for just 2 nights and then kept adding more nights because I didn’t want to leave. Ended up staying almost 2 weeks! The room and hotel overall is super clean, comfortable and cozy. It has a restaurant that serves excellent breakfast and lunch (the chef is super talented and she is so nice!) and delicious homemade desserts all day with a full bar serving great selections for liquor, beer, wine, coffee and tea (the green Provence tea was awesome). The girls who serve here are incredibly happy and friendly. It was genuinely nice to see them every day. The owners are very professional and give you complete privacy while also checking to be sure you always have what you need. I slept with the windows open to listen to the sound of the river and birds and ducks. The center of town with tons of delicious food options is super close (definitely go to Maison Georges Larnicol for chocolate, their dark chocolate selection is so good and the owner is super kind). There is also an awesome hiking/walking/running trail 5 mins away (past Mimosas, also excellent) that will lead you down to Kerdruc and all the way to the ocean at Port Manech if you want a good workout. It’s a beautiful trail in the woods along the river. I could write a lot more. It was a perfect place to stay. Pont-Aven is a beautiful and special little village. The river, the people, the food, the art and music - it is the perfect place to find peace, comfort, creativity and inspiration.

Pros: Quiet & clean . High spec accommodation . Helpful hosts Ros and Adrian , very knowledgeable about the whole area. Welcome pack was very welcome on arrival after a long hot drive . Ideal base for walkers , cyclists and beach lovers. Not seen it mentioned before there is a Freeview TV option in English .
Cons: Not a criticism at all - but a full length mirror would be great
10.0 Excellent
Pros: From the first to the last day our stay was just perfect. Adrian and Ros welcomed us warmly and prepared a delicious dinner. Also the breakfast was perfect. Our apartment was very tastefully and high quality equipped and the location of the house is a dream. The beach is within walking distance and incredibly beautiful. The two have always given us tips for excursions and looked after us well. All in all a perfect holiday that makes you forget everyday life. We will come back in any case.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The homecooking was a delightful experience. Our stay in maison mimosa could not be better. To be recommended without hesitation. Six stars.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We can fully confirm the positive comments and ratings for La Mimosa. Ros and Adrian are extraordinary good and friendly hosts, always caring about the well-beeing of their guests. They offer lots of recommendations for walks and excursions including individual maps. We had dinner two times and it tasted very good. The appartment is good and very clean. It has modern facilities, everything is still new. The garden is beautiful and offers space to relax, grill and having a drink. 500m walking distance to the Rospico Beach. We enjoyed our stay at La Mimosa!
Cons: Just a small issue: the internet speed is fully sufficient for all kinds of social media, emailing, planing trips, access maps etc. For streaming of e.g. German Television News the speed is a bit low.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The young couple that were running the B&B were delightful. Our French was not the best and we were able to communicate very well as their English was excellent. The breakfast every morning was more that just the standard coffee and toast including yogurt, fruit and a pastry. I would recommend this property and we will be returning again in 2 years time.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Old world charm. English speaking hosts. Couldn’t do enough for us. We are bikers so they offered us a loan of their car to save putting our bike gear on to go out for a meal, we didn’t accept but the offer was made. Big barn provided for parking.

Pros: Great location, just a 10 minute walk into Pont-Aven. The owner was lovely couldn’t do enough for us, she interacted with all the guests and made us feel at home.
Cons: The only down side to the property was the rooms where very noisy we could hear every foot step from the family in the room above. I hope this was just a case of the family being noisy and others don’t experience the same issue.

Pros: A lovely, welcoming, super-nice host. A great old house, 2 minutes walk from beautiful Pont Aven. Large, comfortable room and bed. We had to leave early so she prepared for us a light breakfast before- thank you!
Cons: Nothing. It’s a perfect place.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This place has been a really great choice for staying in Pont-Aven and we will definitely stay here again if we come back to the town. Our host was very kind and helpful; she offered us a different room because our original room was just under the roof and it could be hot in the summer. She also let us leave our bags in the B&B long before the check-in time. From the house it is very close to the river and to the center of the town, but it is also just a few steps from the starting point of the walk to the chapel on the hill and to the old mill in the valley. We really appreciated all the small details of this well-decorated house and the excellent breakfast.

Camping Domaine de Kerlann - Pont-Aven - Bedroom

8.5 Excellent (376 reviews)
Overview Reviews

7.0 Good
Pros: The staff were absolutely amazing, friendly and very helpful. My daughter simply loved the kids club, and the daily entertainment was really fun. The site is well maintained and lots of facilities for kids to keep them entertained. The location is good with easy access to two close by towns. The onsite shop is stocked well for the little bits you need.
Cons: The mobile home we were allocated was very dirty and dusty. By the end of our holiday we all ended up sick, including my 1-year-old boy. We did ask for the mobile home to be cleaned but it was not done effectively leaving us to suffer with load of dust on the sofas and beds. The pools were very busy, and even though there are signs clearly displayed that diving is not allowed it seemed that the patrons did not pay attention, and more frustrating was that the lifeguards on duty were well aware of this and did nothing to stop it. Quite frustrating for families with young children!

Pros: Indoor pool temperature was just right, shop hours were very good & selection of food. The bed was comfy! but not the pillows!
Cons: Bed linen was too small, pillow cases were too small for the pillows. French door curtains, one was only half the length didn't reach the floor. Felt very enclosed with so many mobile homes everywhere you looked.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent facilities for young children
Cons: Mobile home smaller than expected
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Mobiles were modern, spacious and comforting. The entertainment was excellent and staff friendly
7.5 Good
Pros: Lovely site with helpful staff. Nice pool and facilities.
Cons: Bed sheets were not included, and we were not told this, and they had ran out of sheets to hire when we arrived. Bike hire is expensive and the bike was old and rubbish, the chain kept coming off.
6.8 Good
Pros: Mobile home was lovely an clean, everything you needed was in there. Entertainment was really good, they put togethersome amazing shows.
Cons: I found that the french where a little rude, i understand we are in their country. The beds where also a bit hard...
7.5 Good
Pros: The shop
Cons: That there was no sky TV
5.8 Okay
Pros: Very clean and good location
Cons: Very noisy (very loud music until 11pm each day); many extras to be paid that were totally overpriced (e.g. final cleaning 130 Euro, ie. basically as much as an additional night!!! And just for a small cabin); very bad Wi-Fi connection and not included in the price; we felt like in a trade show for Mobil homes....as one if the main business models of that place is to sell them...
7.0 Good
Pros: Great pools, onsite shop served great bread and croissants
Cons: Noisy at night, no apparent security telling people to be quiet, regularly disturbed up till 3am Beds in mobile very uncomfortable
6.3 Good
Pros: Pool facilities
Cons: Lack of customer service following numerous requests, still no response received. When we arrived, it appeared as though the keys to our allocated accommodation couldn't be found. Therefore, following a bit of a wait, another pitch was found. On arrival at our mobile home, it appeared as though the site was used as storage for plastic outdoor furniture, which was all extremely dirty. Two really large tables, four sun loungers and around 18 chairs stacked on the decking. The barbeque was another story, was thick in grease, ashes still inside and the grills looked like they hadn't been cleaned all year. Went inside and had to sweep up first. Went to reception the following morning to request a replacement barbecue which they acknowledged they would organise. Went back mid afternoon as noone had been to sort and by 5pm went back again as was planning a bbq tea. They said that this was the next task on their list, but again noone appeared. We then spent around an hour scrubbing the bbq before we could use it as was apparent staff couldn't be bothered. Disgusted that noone ever followed up our complaint or acknowledged it. Holiday over, now trying to chase up a duplicated card transaction for a refund. Again no response - expect that's the last we see of tgat money.

4.3 Okay
Pros: The isolated location of the hotel facing the sea is great for those who love to be away from it all, however, if the hotel's restaurant is fully booked or closed, than there are no other options nearby and you need to take a car. It would be great if the hotel could propose cold snacks like a cheese board for example that can easily be prepared by the bar staff, allowing hotel guests to have something small to eat while having a drink.
Cons: The initial contact with the staff was not very flexible (not prepared to find a solution - this was compensated later that day with bar and evening staff). The room price was way too expensive for what it is (breakfast not included): room looked tired and didn't give a clean feel, could definitely do with a revamp (and with new windows for clear views!). Also the glass extension of the bar area is charmless and uninviting and felt more like a snack bar at a railway station. The hotel lacks a cosy place to sit and have a drink at a reasonable price (mark up on the wines very strong)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location marvellous. View from room fantastic over the bay. Very friendly atmosphere.
Cons: Cannot think of anything.
4.5 Okay

6.8 Good
Pros: The location on the river. Easy public parking next to the hotel. Oysters, lobster were good but sea bass was indifferent. Continental breakfast served by waitress in the conservatory.
Cons: Our bedroom no. 10 was on the 3rd floor in the attic and lift only went to the 2nd. Room not suitable for anyone over 6ft as the eaves get in the way. Awkward to get into bed from the window side and bathroom was small. So avoid rooms 9 and 10. Otherwise a nicely appointed hotel with a 5 minute walk into the centre of town
6.3 Good
Pros: Good location, pretty and clean room. Owners polite and helpful.
Cons: Double bed very small - we’re quite large but small by any standards. Ate in the restaurant the first evening and had to wait almost and hour for our meal to be served. Poorly organised waiting staff. They were very apologetic and gave us a complimentary digestif, but not good enough. They also need to deal with the fly problem - seeing desserts waiting to be carried to tables with flies circulating, not good. Also the worst crème brûlée ever - the crème was granular and dry and the topping was thin and barely caramelised.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location. The staff is friendly and the rooms are comfortable and clean.
Cons: There is no parking attached to the property. Public parking has a time limit on it.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Large comfy bed. Stunning location
Cons: Room was clean but not spotless.bathroom functional but could do with updating.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Charming people who were anxious that we should be comfortable and that we would have everything we needed. Room had terrace overlooking river and being on the terrace was just superb. Food was really good, both dinner and breakfast. Lift to the room and bedroom was decorated really nicely.
Cons: It rained. But even in the rain the hotel was charming. Bedroom is a little small but it is in keeping with the building.

Pros: Amazing experience from the moment we arrived. The staff whom greeted us took the time to move his vehicle so we could have a space to park our van and trailer. The restaurant staff and food was so good. And our check out in the morning was just as pleasant. Beds were comfy and sweet lovely decorated rooms. I would love to stay again and would highly recommend.
