Hotel is near to the center of Pozza di Fassa, got a garage for my motorcycle, a nice room with a spacious bath and a balcony with a spectacular view to the mountains. A nice breakfast buffet, with nearly everything you can want for this price (excluded is warm food). Friendly staff! Less traffic in front of the hotel, several restaurants and one bar near to the hotel. For Winter, 2 skislopes are less than 100m away. But overall a very good value for my money Staff does not speak English or German at all, but Italian and Ladinisch, which is a little odd for a hotel in the alps and made the conversation complicated It was it quite cold for beginn of September outside and so was my room! Found no drying room for my wet motorcycle clothes, so I don´t know, if there is any fo skiing clothes.
Nice rooms, good spa. Dinner is not good
nice hotel with good room and excellent breakfast. noice of road and neighbors. fee-paying Internet.
Bad contion of heating! Cold room.
Excellent food , nice spaa and very firendly staff
Stayed for 1 wk skiiing 3/2010. thoroughly impressed w/ staff, food. Very helpful people, made calls & arrangements for us, shuttled us beyond the shuttle's posted availability & purpose. Amazing spa area, most of it free! Fairly easy access to entire Val di Fassa ski area, & can ski/skibus into tons of other resorts for something like 1200km of ski runs available (fassa.com), unbelievably scenic skiing...Dolomites are out of this world... Not just your average hotel restaurant-- the maitre'd, Ciro, takes his job very seriously, and bends over backward. Feels close to white-glove service in the states. Excellent food. Balcony room was lovely, ski equip room w/ boot dryer, just can't say enough positive. Will return--no need to shop around Like other european hotels, put two single beds together to be a double; no true American king/queen bed avail... But could not really tell. Worked well. Not sure what they use to hold them together & fill in the seam/gap, but we noticed it less here than at Starhotels in Rome, Venice, & Michelangelo in Florence.
Near to the mountains, wintersports It was very cold in the room. Heating was not working, regardless of the fact that we twice noted that in the reception and they promissed that they will fix it.
Welcoming staff...excellent room...abundant breakfast. Will recommend to others. The wellness centre hours were limited...we wold have liked more opportunities to take advantage of the services.
nice and clean hotel. Exellent breakfast.the location is in the center of the Dolomites - greate fo a star tour (every day to another diection). nice spa The spa is open only until 8 pm. the hot tub was cold
The attitude amongst the personell was excellent; always a friendly approach. The facility was also excellent. —
Quiet, Great Wellness center, rooms are perfect Nothing
Excellent hotel. Nice family owners. Great Spa, Will definitely return again.
It was perfect stay. Hotel seems very new refernish and perfectly clean. It is family hotel with very warm atmosphere situated on suitable place for start of the tracks as well as for skiing. Ask mountain view rooms there are more quiete. Missing dinner service
The hotel looked lovely from the outside and I wasn't disappointed when we stepped inside. We arrived earlier than expected and the lady who opened the front door to us didn't speak English. However she quickly called another member of staff who was really helpful and checked us in. She waited patiently while we brought our luggage in and took us up to our room, giving us information about the facilities as we went. The room was gorgeous with a fab view of the village and mountains from our balcony. Breakfast was in a beautiful room with carved wooden ceiling and a view of the mountains again. We used the swimming pool and Spa area which looked very new or just well looked after and was a real treat. When we arrived in our room my partner thought there was a bit of a funny smell in the bathroom but then he does have a sensitive nose.
A great deal of attention to detail was evident. The service was excellent but unobtrusive, the spa clean and with a wide range of facilities, and the surroundings were luxurious yet tasteful. The manager was very helpful. The hotel was fine but having to eat elsewhere was a disadvantage.
Very comfortable hotel, done with feeling for detail, very helpful and friendly owners, good for bigger families in connected rooms, nice breakfast, great relax in hotel welness, good position for wandering around, very recommend.
We had a perfect stay at the hotel. We travel around the world already for years but almost never and such a perfect place and wonderful staff/ownership. The hotel is new, with classic modern style, and all details are so well done. The details of the fresh fruits at the breakfast, the lamps, the wellness area, ... the owners did a very good job. In addition you immediately feel comfortable by the way the owners receive the guests.
A beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean room with a balcony and lovely view. We were greeted with a very warm welcome by the personable innkeeper, who made every effort to ensure that our stay was totally enjoyable.
Our host Josef was very helpful and friendly and entertained us with his music. We would definitely stay again.
The hotel is a family style, cute, romantic one with fantastic views all around in the area. Manager was very helpfull and suggested us one nice restaurant. Would like to come back at cristmass, although they prefer italians.
I stayed 2 nights (Sept.28th & 29th) at Villa Mozart. The weather was excellent. Villa Mozart is on the main road, a short walk from the centre of Pozza di Fassa, a picturesque & typical Alpine town. My room was at the back, very bright and airy, with an excellent view of Pozza di Fassa & the mountains. Breakfast was very good, although continental. The owner is a musician who did an impromptu concert one evening. I thought they were playing Shadows records in the bar, but it was actually the Italian owner (a huge fan of The Shadows & music generally) playing his guitar! The hotel is B&B only & therefore does no meals, except breakfast. Pozza di Fassa more-or-less closes for the summer season mid-September & doesn't reopen again until November, so Villa Mozart was one of the few places to stay open. Shops, restaurants & bars in Pozza di Fassa have rotating days off & most choose Wednesday (the full day I was there) to close!
I was very good taken care of the management. Gave me good informations for the area. Everything was perfect
The people were very helpful. Very clean and comfortable rooms. No dinner available
Good view from the balcony. Located at the main street of the valley, (but rooms were on the backside) Breakfast was a little poor. No italian coffee, sniff. And the coffee was heated for a while and so it tasted burnt.
Plleasant, helpful and informative, multilingual host. Very clean and neat. Good breakfast. In easy reach of th best of the Dolomites.
The quietness. The location. and the service. not at all.
Nice, cosy hotel, with spacy clean rooms and bathrooms. Good breakfast. Pozza and dolomite scenery are unbeatable. Hoteliers not speaking English, even they were very polite.
Owner was very informative, meals excellent, he is a great chef. Hotel very friendly, welcoming. Highly recommended
