room was affordable. very clean, with friendly staff. towels folded very nice. Air & heater system worked well. Celica beware..they had a simple breakfast of cereal and breads, with apples & banana's. a good coffee & juice. bed of sheet rock & firmest pillows we have ever had. husband had to roll up the bedspread to sleep on. mini fridge kicked on with a loud roar every 2 hours. we finally had to unplug the fridge so we could sleep. Celica beware..the breakfast was meager, with only breads & cereals, had no protein.
The service was exceptional. The front desk clerk even returned at 4:00am to have breakfast ready for those of us riding the Copper Triangle. Great value for our money
Excellent staff. Great value. Breakfast was very basic.
Staff very friendly, reasonable price, and clean. Beds were a bit too firm.
Room was very clean. Hotel was neat and appeared to be well kept. "Breakfast" was just sweet rolls, waffles, coffee, some juice, toast, etc. Quite spartan. Overall tough, both my wife and I were pleased with the accommodations. Good deal for the price!
Gentleman that owned the hotel was friendly, there was a hot tub. Power went out early, not his fault but we still had to check out by 10, which made getting ready difficult. Rooms were basic, beds were hard.
Nice Mom and Pop hotel. Great location. The staff was very friendly and there was an indoor pool and hot tub which was a plus. Our room also had a mini fridge and microwave which was awesome to heat up our snacks and keep our ice cream colx. Decor was lacking, very early 90s.
Friendly staff, great pool, hot tub and sauna. Relaxing stay!
Very good breakfast, friendly staff, beautiful views of the lake, close to everything, easy to get around, plentiful parking, close by restaurants and bars, great value
Friendly staff, rooms were nice and well furnished. We were there mid-June and the flowers were lovely! Enjoyed our stay. I would request a room with a view of beautiful Lake Dillon. It was unseasonably warm when we were there. There was no AC . The windows were easy to open and there was a ceiling fan which helped a lot.
It was a great location! Only 15 min from Keystone and 30 min from Breck. We enjoyed the Cuty Market grocery store and fun restaurants.
Surly, unhelpful front desk No gym Cramped breakfast seating Poorly ventilated room Barely functioning refrigerator
Proximity to the lake and cafe is convenient Walls are paper thin
Location. Right on Dillon Lake...in middle of town...restaurants within walking distance. Plenty of parking. Room was a bit warm...tried to adjust A/C since it was a hot day. Ended up opening up balcony door and used ceiling fan, so it was OK.
View / many shops and restaurants in walking distance No AC
Location on the lake is amazing Walls are super thin Rooms get way too hot and the only way to cool them down is open the porch door
There were a couple of restaurants that were in walking distance, which was nice. The lake was close and it looked like there were some walks around the area but we didn't explore since we were already tired from our hike that day. The view of the lake is beautiful, although we weren't lucky enough to have one. We were fortunate apparently to have an AC unit in our room though, after looking at other reviews. The room was quite well equipped with fridge and coffee maker and I believe there may have been a microwave. The breakfast was much better than expected! We got a basement unit, which it sounds like may have been a good thing after all since we had AC!
Very clean and comfortable. Hot tub and free breakfast were a huge plus for a weekend in the mountains. Nada
Location, location. Excellent from the time you check in until you check out. No A/C. This is quite normal for a mountain location. Opened the door and turned the fan on.
Staff was very pleasant, pool was clean, beds were comfortable. Great location. Room cleaners must not have vacuumed...found a metal lighter in the middle of the floor. Breakfast was okay, but the eggs had a rubbery texture. Walls were thin enough to hear the traffic along the highway and someone snoring in the room next to us.
Solid choice for a quick stay No frills Nothing
Everything but the price. The price. Could have been $50-$100 cheaper
room smelled stale, ironing board broken, continental breakfast was very chaotic
The front desk staff was warm and helpful. Nice to have hot tub, pool on-site, easy access to food and shopping. The bottom sheet didn't seem freshly washed (hair/clothing fibers) as if it might not have been changed; but rather than wait for a replacement, I just turned it inside out. The hot tub was a too hot and wouldn't shut off.
A little dated.
Good staff, nice having restaurant attached, good location. Lukewarm shower, 1 mini sized shampoo for both myself and spouse, shower rod busted so curtain wouldn't close, no air/ac, dirty. Will not stay again.
Modern design style Quick & easy check-in/out Helpful breakfast staff Proximate location Large hot tub (jets lacking) Average pool for similar facility Breakfast was average, but allowed for flow of traffic Parking is lacking and inconvenient on busy weekends Bathroom/shower facilities were menial and tiny No power outlets for charging electronics, except next to the sink Beds were hard, pillows were lacking Room 626 echos, floor was very noisy, lots of door slamming Wi-Fi was slow Over priced for the provided ammenities
Location - convenience and access to highway and shopping. Slow flushing of the toilet, not enough electrical outlets in the room, electric outlets not conveniently located next to bed. Exercise room equipment was not well maintained - elliptical machine squeaked
Liked the proximity to the ski areas and shopping. Did not like: The overall cleanliness of the hotel. Mold in the bath/shower area. The floor of the shower room had faux hardwood floors which had a pool of water and mold underneath. The sink faucet leaked when the water was being used. Housekeeping did not change the sheets. towels were old and rough like sand paper.
Hotel was very noisy.
The fact that the pool and hot tub were indoor, somewhat friendly staff and location was okay. There was a thermostat that didn't work, an extra ac unit, a hole in one of the walls, beds that felt like they were made of BRICKS, the fact that the hot tub was grumpy and had what felt like dysfunctional jets, leaks in the ceilings and what looks like mold, unfinished ceilings in the room, huge gap between the door and the molding - we could see through the gap into the hallway and last but not least, a fire sprinkler in the room was wrapped in either a shirt, rag, or sock.
Location is great. We were up from Boulder skiing for a few days and did not want to pay the high prices to stay at a mountain resort (hotel, food, parking, etc). I stay more than 100 nights a year at Marriott properties so I may be a bit spoiled but this was one of the worst hotels I've stayed at. The beds were rock hard, there is no central heat / air, no power outlets in the room, and the entire place smelled like a mix between a wet dog and old bong water.
Great location Excellent staff Would definitely stay here again Bed was a little uncomfortable.
No frills room, hot water, cleaned daily with fresh towels.
Clean, very comfortable, great place to stay if your skiing and don't want the expense of slopeside accommodations. Hot Tub for after skiing is fantastic, they have a dry sauna as well.
This hotel is tucked away is right off HWY 9 and I-70 with a lower elevation so I never noticed it from the road. It popped up in a search and I'm glad it did. The room was spacious and clean with everything you would expect in an economy grade hotel. There was a nicely crafted wooden hot tub and sauna area which I was not expecting. The staff was friendly and at checkout I just dropped off the key. It was definitely a good value for the money and I will stay there again.
Older Hotel with some history and interesting facts on Ski Resorts of the past. A rustic log cabin style hotel, very clean with classic keys, and a hot shower with a warm bed. Very friendly staff, and eager to please with a palatable continental breakfast and ease of booking. No pictures online
nice, clean room
Watching the TV with a billion channels to choose from and the beds were very comfortable.
Friendly staff. Very clean room. Very nice area for continental breakfast with good food. Very close to shopping and I-70.
It was a very luxurious and memorable stay.
everything was excellent, the breakfast had a lot of choices and well stocked a petty charge for a safe in the room and something about insurance
Stayed on the second floor, was very loud. Could hear people waking through the hallway all night. We could also hear doors, people walking from above and water running/flushing.
The location of the hotel is great because it is close to several ski resorts. We liked the convenience of the grocery store across the street. The hotel was very dated and the rooms were small. There was not a refrigerator in the room. The breakfast in the morning was not very good and very crowded.
Walking distance to Main Street for restaurants and shops. Hot tub and pool were a nice benefit for tired legs. The breakfast was only available from 7am. Since hikers need to be out early in this area to avoid the regular afternoon thunderstorms I was unable to have breakfast in the hotel and had to source it from some of the other cafes in the area, most of which were open at 5.30 or 6am.
The hotel was generally nice and in a convenient location. Customers need to be advised in advance that they will not receive reward points if they book through your service. We also did not know that we would not have a refrigerator in our room without upgrading and paying a higher rate. The reception clerk was not very friendly in explaining the above.
The front desk and staff were very helpful and friendly. Free internet. Large, comfortable rooms (mini-suite) Next to highway and shopping center. There was no noise, but location is what it is.
Breakfast was pretty minimal, as you might expect.
This hotel is close to the ski areas and was affordable. Breakfast was good with decent choices. Parking was a nightmare and we ended up parking across a fairly busy street because the lot is very small and full. The beds are very hard.
I liked the service and the location The heating system was not god. Either too hot or no heat.
The price was right for a quick night's stayover. Rooms clean, staff was courteous and businesslike. Location wasn't the greatest but it's all relative.
Exceptional staff, clean rooms and hotel. Even the pool was very clean. I am very impressed with the outgoing, friendly staff! Do not bother with the free breakfast, stale bagels, muffins znd cereal... Better to walk next door to Whole Foods for the juice bar and breakfast options & great coffee there,
For the price you can't beat it. Noise coming up from the front desk area.
Quick check-in, clean room.
Clean, comfortable, great value.
great value - this hotel has plus quality finishes and features for less than the competition. i have stayed at plenty of hotels in the area, generally the ones in Alpine Inn's price range are much lower quality and the ones in its quality range are much higher priced. don't worry about freeway noise, i am a light sleeper and was on that side but it didn't bother me. i will stay again without hesitation. breakfast was decent overall - cereal, bagels, etc. with hard boiled eggs for protein - but please don't slice the bananas, most of us want a whole one
Nice looking, clean, great pool and hot tub, convenient to shopping, great access, and view of mountains.
I especiallly liked the cleanliness of the room. I felt like I didn't have to use my lysol wipes on everything in sight.
What we liked the most was that everything was so close. We did not need to drive our vehicle anywhere.
It was very clean , quite . Very happy with service . We wish the had waffles with there breakfast items. Would recommend them and would stay there again.
I liked the price, the cleanliness, the skiing vibe, the breakfast, the pool
This is a great little hotel! It is an older property, but very clean and well maintained. It is central to Keystone, Breckenridge and Copper Mtn. This is a great place to stay on your ski trip. This is my third stay, and I have had a very good experience each time.
Ease of check in Location to all Summit County - Skiing and recreation Value during mid week Outlet in bathroom did not work Bad resolution on TV Mini fridge not cool; concerned about keeping cold items cold and from spoiling A well used inn. Could use a little updating in the halls and rooms - carpets. Door to back parking lot not secure
Nothing There was two holes in the wall, the closet door wouldn't shut because the ironing board was in the way, the furniture had chips all over it, and the bathroom hook was upside down, therefore you couldn't hang anything from it!
The room and lobby is nice. The hallways and back door to the parking lot is in need of updating, they are pretty beat up. There is no breakfast because there is a restaurant.
The bed was better than I thought it would be. The room, especially the bathroom was dirty. The hotel is under construction and noisy. The front desk staff were unfriendly.
Not very impressed for the price. Comfortable beds, hot tub ok. No towels in the pool area, no breakfast included, no staff in the breakfast resturaunt. ICe machine poor, exterior doors broken-so no key needed for entry.
The staff was very very polite and friendly! The rates were high, but the best in town. It was a very simple transaction, no fuss. The layout of the hotel is a little odd, but that's really it.
Bed and pillows were comfortable for this type hotel. Had mini fridge and Whole Foods is across the street. Shower never seemed to get hot I stayed for 2 nights and never got a hot shower.
The hotel was centrally located in Frisco, the service was amazing-- Harmony was great. Every Everything was really great!
Great location. The hotel is not well maintained. The room we were in was missing the smoke detector from the ceiling, the patio door would not lock so a door bar was present, the tub had holes in it, so clearly water would go through and somewhere under the tub. The room was painted in a hurry paint from the ceiling (only partially covering) had dripped down the wall.
The owner was lovely, she's so sweet and happy to help with anything you may need! Room was also great
The location is good. The price was cheaper than others in the area. Fairly clean. Breakfast was bare bones. Towels are like sandpaper. Bring your own toiletries.
Nothing Dirty rooms, stale breakfast, indifferent staff, dated hotel, etched. They have a lot of nerve including the word "luxury"in the name of their hotel
Beds and pillows were very comfortable and I slept well. Breakfast was cereal and cold/half frozen donuts. I thought it would be a bit more extensive than that, and at least the donuts could have been completely thawed. I chose this hotel over a competitor because it said the breakfast was included, but we ended up going somewhere else to eat. The front desk took a while to check in and they had their kid sitting on the floor in the office. No internet during certain times of night due to illegal piracy of movies? Really?
When you see Luxury in the title you expect a certain type of luxury. We rounded the corner to get our first glimpse of the place and our hearts dropped. It looked more like a run down motel than a luxury hotel. The first impression was a bad one. The landscaping was overrun by weeds, there were windows that were damaged and the sign looked like it was from the 1970s. The lobby was out of date and when trying to check in after ringing the bell, a young kid comes down the stairs wearing shorts and a t shirt... Not professional at all. We found no elevator yet our room was in the second floor. The stairs were norrow and steep. The room was clean but extremely outdated. Overall a very creepy experience... So much so that we cancelled our second night and decided to go somewhere else. We didn't even spend the night there. it was a $110 mistake that I learned from... Don't always trust reviews or the name of the hotel.
They turn the internet off at midnight. I have never heard of something so ridiculous. Not sure where the luxury in the name comes from. ESPN and ESPN2 both did not work on the TV, and the internet was too slow to stream any live sports.
There wasn't much to like, other than it was a room (albeit an overpriced one) on a busy weekend. The check-in person was very cold; room was not as clean as I would have liked; breakfast was awful. In the morning, there was no one at the desk to even ask if our stay was good (perhaps no surprise there) - just a basket to toss your key in on the way out.
Clean, room was decent looking and done up ok. Bed a little lumpy, smell supper cooking in employees residence, air conditioning a bit under sized and the breakfast buffet was the worst I have seen. That said cleanliness and a fairly new remodel are important.
Clean, comfortable, & quiet. Good location & price. Terrible breakfast including the "coffee". The shower water pressure was rather weak.
CONVENIENT, POOL AND HOT TUB, ADEQUATE BUT NOT EXACTLY LUXURY.. OUTDATED SHOWER HEAD AND TOILET PLEASE ADD MODERN HOTEL LAMPS AND 2 MORE PILLOWS TO THE BED 50.00 FINE FOR HAVING A DRINK IN THE HOT TUB????
Good location. Room was ok but not what I'd call luxurious, although it was clean. It was quiet even tho right next to the highway. The front desk lady was not very nice or informative. Continental breakfast was awful. Old donuts and fruit. The room was freezing when we got in. Had to crank the heater for a while before it warmed up.
Older Motel but a great value for the money. I did not expect a 5 star room, but it was clean, staff was very friendly and prompt. I showed up very late for check-in and the front desk clerk was there within seconds. Rooms are a little dated, but were clean and maintained. I would stay again. Great location right on Main Street in Frisco Could use bathroom fans and flat screens, but then again I was not there to watch TV all day.
Location. It's right off of mainstreet. Everything. The room we were given reeked of cigarette smoke. I was told it used to be a smoking room and that's why, but they might as well still consider to be a smoking room. The outside of the hotel looks fine - older, but fine. The second I entered the room I laughed. It was shockingly bad!! It was small, very old, dirty, looked broken down, smelled... just terrible. I actually had to go get a refund and find another hotel. And I always go with cheaper hotels when I travel (I'm not very picky and don't need luxury by any means) and I almost never have a problem. Considering all the places I've stayed, the fact that this one was so awful that I had to leave says a lot. Do yourself a favor and don't stay here. The cheaper price isn't worth it.
I like the location and staff.
The Inn was very wonderful. Had a nice lodge feel with a common dining area abd two sitting areas. Close walk to Main St and restauranta & bars. Had a yummy happy hour & free hot breakfast in the morning. I wish we could've stayed longer!
This place has the perfect balance of amenities: hot tub, sauna, great breakfast, and location! Not anything that stands out! This will be on my radar for future visits as a desirable place!
We liked the complimentary "happy hour" (with a pleasant pianist) and breakfast. Pleasant lounge area. Patio rooms would be a summer treat! Nice B&B ambiance without the creepy feel of being in someone's home! Good housekeeping with various personal amenities makes it an overall good value. Hot tub seemed too cramped. Rooms are adequate size, but not spacious. Remotely controlled thermostat seemed odd. The menu seemed pretentious, as if trying too hard to impress.
The loft rooms are decent. There are only like 5 channels on the tv. Their breakfast and coffee are terrible. The hotel overall is pretty dingy. The worst part though, is that the maid stole from us. We're in a band and stay in Silverthorne all the time as we're on our way to and from shows in the mountains. Our fiddle player accidentally left 2 dresses in the closet of the room, but realized it soon after we left and called to let them know. They basically said that if they had the dresses, they would call her. They didn't. My fiddle player called several times a day only to get brushed aside and put through to a voicemail box that never got checked. She even called corporate and was told they would start a case and look into it. She was told to wait 3 days and call back so she did. They said that no case had been started. Then, about a week later we were going to be staying in Silverthorne again so we stopped by the La Quinta to ask them in person about the dresses and we were told that the old manager had just up and walked out of her job and that we should file a police report. We called the local police and they said they would call us back. In the mean time, the new manager (who actually helped us) had a chat with the maids from the day we checked out and then the dresses magically and anonymously reappeared. So in the end she got her dresses back, but the amount of incompetence and headache that was involved was unbelievable. I wouldn't have recommended staying here anyhow, but with this mess we will never stay at a La Quinta again.
There was plenty of parking and conveinient location. We walked to the resturant for dinner. The fireplace in our room was electric, I had assumed it would be wood burning, took the romance out of it. It also made a lot of noise. The DVD player was not hooked up at all!
The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The location is easy to find, and within pretty short walking distance to the outlet stores and several good places to eat. The sheets were the only clean items in the room. The desk and bedside tables were sticky and had visible filth on them, the floors hadn't been swept, and there was a used washcloth and empty shampoo bottles left in the shower. Additionally, the pool was out of order, and the elevator was a bit rundown.
THIS HOTEL IS THE WORST, BETTY WHO WORKS THERE IS THE WORST HUMAN ALIVE. CAR GOT BROKEN INTO. KIDS SMOKING CIGS IN HOT TUB AREA. CALLED A LAIR AND CHASED OUT FOR ASKING FOR OWNERS INFO. DONT EVERY STAY HERE !!! EVER
The staff was, overall, very good. The room was clean. The breakfast was very good. The female desk clerk that came on duty at 7am would change the TV channel from the news to a talk show. We asked her to change it back. She did not.
Room was nice and location was good. It was a decent room for the money, but there were some items that other hotels provide that weren't provided. Most hotels provide Shampoo, Conditioner, Lotion and soap. This one only provided soap and shampoo. I didn't bring conditioner because I expected it to be provided. The continental breakfast didn't have a very good selection. Most hotels have some hot food (eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy), the only hot food here was waffles if you took the time to make them. TV was a bit smaller than I was expecting based on my previous experiences with staying in hotels.
Hot tub was not hot ,bathroom was falling apart
