Pros: Neil is really nice to us. the dog bill is so cute wish Neil always happy and healthy rooms are so clean
Cons: there is no Wi-Fi maybe I did not ask for.. but it is a quite quiet place I love that peace
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This is a brilliant place to stay. Just 10 minutes to the 12 Apostles so you can visit them at sunrise or sunset. Very knowledgeable and welcoming host (despite one of them being suddenly indisposed). On a quiet rural property with a wonderful lounge and extensive views to the coast such that one can sort of/almost/probably just see the 12 apostles (if clear with strong binoculars). Wonderful breakfast. Easy parking. Lots of local birds and an eagle that visits (hence Arabella).
Cons: Nothing really but one needs to travel for an evening meal. The simple and acceptable Princetown hotel is just 3 minutes by car and is an acceptable basic country hotel for a meal with nice hosts.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A very homely atmosphere. Excellent breakfast. Owners were excellent hosts. Ideally located, near 12 apostles. Very neatly decorated rooms.
Cons: Nothing.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very nice people - a family-owned accomodation
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I loved everything - our hosts Neil and Lynn were so welcoming and lovely. The bed was so comfy, the bathroom super clean, the water pressure and heat was perfect. The view from our room spectacular, the breakfast varied and delicious and finally sitting round the fire in the guest room sipping a port was heavenly. Highly recommended. We may make this an annual getaway.
Cons: Breakfast was a little early for my liking but worth getting up for.
The Port O Call - Port Campbell - Bedroom

9.1 Excellent (508 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Located in Port Campbell, The Port O Call is within a 15-minute drive of Twelve Apostles and Port Campbell National Park. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
7.0 Good
Pros: Rooms were very clean and beds comfortable.
Cons: The outside area could do with some improvement, rusty and dirty furniture should be removed. This is not a reflection in Port O Call and appreciate there is nothing they can do, but this is opposite a bar which has live music until 1am, if you are a heavy sleeper this should not be a problem but if you are then bring your earplugs.
7.1 Good
Pros: The location was brilliant and so easy to find. It was very clean and tidy which was nice and the lady on reception was really friendly.
Cons: It was very small and not suitable for a family of 5. The kitchen didn’t have a cooker and lacked any surface space. Once the sofa bed was made it filled the entire living space which wasn’t ideal.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: location, room are great!
Cons: nothing

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely beautiful secluded little spot. We booked a night away for our First Wedding Anniversary and it was gorgeous! The hosts were lovely and accommodating. The bed was so comfy- so much so we decided to buy a new mattress when we got home as we both slept amazing!
Cons: Wish we stayed more than one night! Will be back :)
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location and very peaceful.
Cons: Shower pressure was almost non existent.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: The shower was a little difficult to use was probably the only grievance, as in the pressure and temperature however such a nice stay overall didn’t really think too much of it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful property, very friendly and attentive hosts. Very cosy.
Cons: Water pressure in the shower was poor and inconsistent. But everything else was perfect!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The accommodation was in a lovely peaceful setting, quiet, with a calming view of the treetops and the river in the background. Bed was extremely comfortable and the facilities including the flexibility to cook a meal in the evening after a days work in your own space was perfect for my requirements for the week. The living space was cosy and warm excellent for a couple. Being within walking distance of the Curdie River and the Boggy Creek Hotel was great. Ann is a lovely host even offering to bring me back food supplies from town if I needed them, and the soup offering one evening was nice. Otherwise bring your own food supplies and you'll be set. Great central quiet location if you are wanting to explore the coastal sights without staying in a larger town.
Cons: Such a minor thing but perhaps the provision of some more comfy dining table chairs and maybe some more lighting or brighter lighting around the kitchenette.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Friendly host and very clean and cute accomo. Breakfast was delicious and adequate.
Cons: We didn’t realise that there was no aircon on a 40 deg day and the house absorbs the heat even throughout the night. However fans were provided.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good bed and more than enough breakfast(but you have to cook) The owner made us bread in the morning and it was warm and soft! And She was very kind :)
Cons: Only downside is the mosquito! You have to make sure every window is closed perfectly before the sun goes down. We had a nightmare because of mosquitoes! :(
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, very cozy apartment!! Loved it..
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice location, friendly hosts, very comfortable & very tastefully furnished. Very nice (self cooked) breakfast, & the home baked bread was very nice in the morning, plenty of room for the car. Very nice food at the Hotel ( 5 MIN walk), plenty of fish in nearby River.
Cons: A flight of steps up to room ( if you are a bit older), a bit awkward to find but not impossible, & lamps / lights could be brighter if you want to read of a night.

Cons: Nil
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The apartment was very clean. The bed was comfortable and overall we enjoyed our stay, despite the lack of cooking facilities.
Cons: We booked an apartment and were very surprised not to find a stove and oven. Instead we had an electric hot plate that plugged into a Powerpoint and was very slow to heat up. Consequently it took a very long time to prepare our meal. There was an electric frying pan provided and we used this mainly. The apartment needs updating and is not 4 stars by international standards.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, spotlessly clean and very comfortable
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was good with a five minute walk to the main strip of shops and restaurants. Forage on the Foreshore was lovely for breakfast.

Pros: A lovely apartment that had everything we hoped for, and parking outside the door was greatly appreciated. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. Great facilities and air conditioning, which made the stay excellent. Good location, with easy access to the town
Cons: It would have been nice to have the shower outside the bath, but it was spacious and easy to keep the bathroom clean. The sofas were a little uncomfortable, but everything was clean and spacious.

Overview Reviews

7.5 Good
Pros: Good location!
Cons: There is no WiFi...
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Had a private room with shared bathroom - room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Came with linen and towels provided. Very secure with a swipe card. We didn't use the kitchen much but it was huge and looked very well appointed
Cons: I didn't like the hand basins to wash hands being so far away from the toilets. It also struck me as odd to begin with that the toilet and shower cubicles were in the hallway, but it was not an issue at all and actually the large number meant that one was always available even though the hostel was almost at capacity
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely beautiful hostel, would definitely recommend a stay. The place was spotlessly clean, and had such a nice chilled feel. Sad we only stayed one night!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location: 10 minute drive to the 12 Apostles of Loch Ard + walking distance to nearby surf club and jetty. Common Kitchen: shared but spacious and clean Common Toilets; Lots upstairs and well maintained Common Shower room: clean and well maintained
Cons: Reception staff: Just bad attitude and no customer service skill. He probably woke up on the wrong side of the bed, obviously not wanting what he was doing. Quite unprofessional and rude. 1st encounter: check in; rushing. 2nd encounter: asking for my receipt; No courtesies not even thank you. 3rd encounter: showed him an insect on the bed (photo attached) Not even an apology, have disregarded concerns and downplayed things. Puts this hostel in bad light. I would have given the room an excellent score but these little creature. It should not be there Period. But male receptionist downplays all this, not even an apology.

Pros: The staff were very friendly, I arrived after their office had closed and they left me a note with how to access the room. It was a great location, clean and the beds were comfortable.
Cons: There was no soap in the bathroom, there was an empty soap dispenser and no bars of soap or hand soap.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Walking distance from the restaurants around and the room was big enough for 3 adults and 1 baby.
Cons: Was charged for a baby cot without waiting for our confirmation.
7.1 Good
Pros: Main room decore a delight. Pretty colours and good quality linen. Patio space useable. Wifi connected. Quiet location. Easy to find.
Cons: The bathroom facilities in our unit are overdue a renovation although clean, curtains for showers are no longer an accepted design, especially now modular shower cubicles are an easy replacement. If the room charge was less expensive then that would have made the bathroom lamenities more acceptable. Leafed toilet paper was also off putting.

Pros: Perfect location。5 minutes drive to 12 apostles so don’t have to awaken myself too early in the morning for sunrise watch .Friendly staff and clean facilities .Provide lunch and dinner at restaurant.Lamb fried pasta and Teriyaki chicken rice so tasty. Meet our demand. Wonderful.
Cons: Outdoor kid’s garden needs refurbishment.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location, very close to the 12 Apostles and most comfortable bed I have slept in during our 1 month vacation in Oz.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Just 3 kms to the apostles and they provide dinner and breakfast.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Quiet location in very close proximity to the 12 Apostles. Friendly helpful hosts (printed bus reservation for me which I had left in Melbourne). Stand alone cottage, basic and fit out a bit dated and tired, but all needs met, clean, comfortable bed, good shower pressure, cold on arrival but heater effective (though a bit noisy). Breakfast included (toasted egg and bacon sandwich) making it a very reasonable room rate. Happy to provide additional fresh milk for tea/coffee and did not charge for this. Food is available, we bought dinner, simple teriyaki chicken with rice and vegetables hit the spot. As a result didn't use the room's kitchen facilities but at a glance they seemed good. Loved seeing a big male koala in the eucalypt out the front.
Cons: Mosquitoes in the room at night spoiled our sleep, a can of insect spray in the room would have been great. Instead we kept the fan in the heater/cooler unit running and the air movement acted as a good deterrent (increases electricity consumption though, bit wasteful and increases overheads for the property owners)
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing...
Cons: Dusty old bates motel. Absolutely feral. Needs an upgrade. Nothing to do.... Creepy too
6.3 Good
Pros: Good location
Cons: Poor choice of food and surprising lack of alcohol for A licensed restaurant.

Pros: Great and beautiful location..so close to The Apostles...! The cows in the paddock next to us were great. Lots of birds and frogs singing.
Cons: For 3 adults staying in a 2 bedroom cottage there was only a 2 seater lounge to kick back on. Outdoor BBQ was filthy! Couldn’t sit outdoors cause the furniture was dirty and wet. The fridge froze everything, ceiling fan didn’t work. Only 1 face washer for 3 people! A pump outside was going every 15sec all night and an alarming each time. Made for not a peaceful night’s sleep.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location was close to the tourist attractions. Among the cheapest around. Bed was lovely, nice hot shower. Enough kitchenette and utensils to get your hot dinner going. Quiet, a lovely place to stay to avoid other holiday parks that housed loud tourists come with busses. The view was stunning. Enough for a night stop and leave to do the must visit Great Ocean Road attractions in the morning. Don't forget to stop by at the campground 4 minutes away to enjoy watching kangaroo enjoying their 'breakfast'.
Cons: Display on the a/c wasn't really working. But the owner was quick to resolve the matter. He helped me by providing instructions on how to turn the heater on via telephone.
7.5 Good
Pros: Excellent views from the cottage...
Cons: Heating was not there :( There were lot of spiderweb ...
