The Jakue comes as a blessed relief after a long day walking the Camino. Our room was compact but more than adequate for an overnight stay (the hotel has larger rooms). The buffet dinner, expertly managed by two enthusiastic young people, was very satisfactory and amazingly good value. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We had just a couple of very minor quibbles. We would have liked a proper shower fitting rather than having to mess about trying to balance the flow from separate hot and cold taps. The breakfast was fine but not as good value as dinner. Also, it was a bit chaotic, probably because the single staff member running it had too much to do.
clean. per my expectations. 1. price for internet services is too high compared to other hotels. For example, in a Parador the charge is 2 Euros for 4 hours... 2. Location is too far from center of town.
Services good 10 to 20 minutes walk to the center of the city
Excellent service provided by front desk staff.
Wireless service was overpriced and poor quality connection. It would put me off using any nh hotel in future. I could not access my emails through a vpn as there was interference in the internet connection. This is a major negative to using the hotels again. I have used nh hotels in Vienna and Frankfurt as I go to both locations regularly on business
.central location and close to good restaurants A little too expensive
It is a nice setting in the park. The restaurant service was indifferent, and our waitress had not been trained. The room cost too much for the value received. This hotel is more like a three star hotel than a four star. The neighborhood is sterile. The internet offering was expensive, and imposed download, upload and usage limit (how 20th century). I would not recomment this hotel to anyone.
The staff were excellent. We booked a double and intended to share with our daughter to save a bit of money, but the hotel staff gave us a n extra bed for no extra cost!
Nicest hotel in Pamplona....perfect for San Fermines if you want to sleep at night...10-15 min walk to all the action.......even the matadors stay at NH Iruna Park
they made me pay additional 20 euros for checking out 2 hours past limit time, althougt i asked for permission the day before
Hotel staff got us 3 (out of requested 4) tickets to bullfight. No minimum charge for room service (just wanted coffee, and it came very quickly).
Good enough breakfast. Easy free parking outside the hotel. Very good price
The hospitality, location and atmosphere.
good central location, excellent standard of hotel, restaurant evening meal was top quality but unbelievably cheap - 26 euros for 3 course meal inc wine.
Great location. Good prices.
Comfort cleanliness and location No
Location is unbeatable. Good value for money. Small rooms, small bed.
Location Small, crampt room; horribly uncomfortable beds, etc.
It was in Pamplona Very expensive restaurant, degustacion menu only offered
location near city centre restaurants and tourists sites
The staff+ location all the rest....The decoration is ugly and the installation are very old, it really need to be refurbish-....Mould in the bathroom, mould in the food....horible breakfast, very low and deficient internet conection
I could not find a single fault, the staff were very friendly and efficient, location superb.
Position. Room very nice and well furnished. Not many international tv channels. Restaurant too expensive. Pay wifi connection
Clean and central to the centre Restaurant is expensive
I liked the convenience of location to the old town area. The nights were also very quiet which was important to me. My window was partially blocked due to improvements being made on the front terraces. So my terrace was inaccessible and I could not see out a window.
Very close to the Old Town and Park. The room had a balcony overlooking swimming pool although we did not have time to use it!
Price Facilities Location
We were given a 5th floor room with good views over park to mountains. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The price for the car park was a bit high.
Helpful friendly staff, remedying minor problems (TV/computer access) within minutes. Excellent dinner in "Gourmet" restaurant, although as we were only guests eating there that evening it lacked atmosphere. Hotel's excellent situation would make me stay there again. A Menu of the day was displayed prominently in the hotel but did not seem to be available in the restaurant in the evening. The "Gourmet" menu was enjoyable but it would have been nice to have the cheaper alternative. Perhaps a misunderstanding?
proximity to the old town breakfast was very ordinary ...especially when i paid 1700 usd for 3 nights. no free internet ...big downer for that room rate , being san fermin, they gouged me hard, like a bull
The fact it was central to the town but because Pamplona was so attractive we did not spend much time in the hotel. No
Closeness to tourist places
Location, general quality, friendly helpful staff menu offered in dining room on Monday night was very limited and the food served was of a poor quality. Staff in attendance also had limited English.
very friendly stuff, close to the city center difficult to find, thin walls - noisy in the morning
Close to historical centre Quite challenging to find unless you have a satnav the dining room is a converted chapel, stark white and stained glass windows. Not an intimate dining atmoshere
The staff was very friendly, and the rooms were clean. The restaurant was beautiful. Valet parking and internet were free.
Hotel was located quite central in the nice old part of the city and staff was helpful when asked. I booked a double bed and we were given a bedroom with twin beds put together. I consider breakfast should be included in the price.
I was very impressed with the friendly and professional staff and also the location, which is in a very interesting and atmospheric part of the old city.
The location was very good: right inside the city walls and with their own car parking. The hotel is very new and has been furnished in a simple modern style with all amenities.
the location for the running of the bulls no spa, no gym
The location of the hotel was excellent, along with the cleanliness and comfort of the room. The staff were pleasant and helpfull. We had dinner at the hotel where there was a good selection and the food was of good quality if a little too salty for our taste.
I had a very pleasant stay, staff were excellent and were most helpful
Helpfulness of staff
Very central in relation to hospitals. Frigo was plenty of bottles of water opened. Looks like that staff do not review with attention how previous deal with minibar ...
wi fi did not work properly.
Very accessible, most comfortable, extremely welcoming, real value for money None
Had good memories ofabba burgos Rooms too small. Everything is aimed to be no more than correct. A bit far away from city center
Located next to beautiful park, close to Pamplona center- about 10 minute by bus, quiet, well equipped rooms.
Far enough from the festivities to not feel overwhelmed with the chaos of the festival. far walk to San Fermin festival. In July it gets really hot and there is no pool or lounge area outside.
Room amenities were fantastic.
The hotel had efficient staff , who had command on several languages , as one might suspect from a hotel largely catering to business clients as well as well as tourists. The room was very good , although the views at the back of the hotel are somewhat lacklustre. Breakfast was very good, as were all the facilities, although the hotel had a somewhat cold feel. The hotel is a reasonable walk from the old town ,and in winter this might be a problem, as buses and taxis seem to dispear quite early in the evening
location, modern hotel, great room, nice restaurant / bar with good breakfast buffet
Close to food and convenience stores. A 15-20 min walk to the old town-city hall. There is also a bus nearby. Breakfast was delicious and staff was very helpful. There is a park right across the street and it is walking distance to the bus station (25 min). AC and wifi worked great.
Very helpful staff. Superb room. Wonderful facilities. Car was taken from outside front door to car park and returned as we left. Difficulty in finding the hotel in the car. Because of the pedestrian areas it was very complicated to get to it. However the hotel reception staff were helpful in the utmost and eventually we made it although without SATnav I suspect it would have been impossible.
clean and modern within the old facade
The rooms were lovely overlooking the square and the staff we're accomodating The food in the restaurant was not as good as the hotel difficult to gain access by car
Welcoming and very helpful staff. The hotel is just a few steps from all the important sights of Pamplona. The best air conditioning and heating system we've come across - no noise and no draughts
Fantastic location, charming staff, lovely big rooms especially luxurious bathrooms
Excellent room and excellent air conditioning. A very central hotel in Pamplona but there are many closed streets so access is difficult. Once I found the way the staff were very attentive and helpful.
I liked the bathroom facilities. The hotel room was clean. The beds were really hard. Uncomfortable. I did not sleep well at all.
The fact that the bus into Pamplona stopped outside the hotel and the cleanliness of the hotel in general. On Saturday and Sunday the breakfast is served in the cafeteria which exposes non smokers to the smoke. Serving any food where smoking is allowed is a big failing on their part. The selection for breakfast is also very poor considering the charge of 9.70 euros.
staff were very nice also our stay was during the bull run, a good bus service right outside hotel just a bit expensive during the week of the bull run
The most enjoyable staff I have met. Enthusiastic about their city, cultural, and they go way out of their way to be accomodating.
Close to City centre, comfortable and clean.
We really enjoyed our visit to the Hotel Andia. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was good and the meal we had in the dining room in the evening was excellent. We also made use of the underground garage, we didn't realise that they had one.
Bus access to Fiesta San Fermin. Need more dining service people.
Friendly staff, clean rooms
i enjoyed my stay, but i only slept there most fo the time i went into the city. the breakfast was good, but i think it should have been free considering the hike in the price for the San Fermine's festival i liked that the staff spoke English and helped out with my questions.
Excellent value for price I paid. Very convenient location, complimentary mini bar and afternoon lobby coffee and tea service, quality and comfort, quiet, clean and well taken care of work out room had 2 stationary bikes and weights
Free minibar was excellent Couldn't check in until 12
Staff was very pleasant and helpful in every way I have no complaints
rooms were clean, comfortable. Staff very helpful. I thought it was closer to the center. Wasn´t the best location for touring the city center, but certainly a manageable walk.
Very modern comfortable clean room, free mini bar, staff very helpful. The location was good, it was close enough to City centre to be able to walk in about 15 minutes, but far enough out to be quiet. Have stayed there before and would stay again. Thought the car parking at 15.50€ per night was expensive
Friendly helpful staff who spoke good English. Availablity of a garage was most welcome. Quite far out from centre of city (good 20 minute walk).
It is a nice clean, comfortable hotel. Helpful staff. Good location very close to the university. The restaurant serves excelent food.
Helpful staff I booked a double bed and got twins.
The room was comfortable, impeccably clean and modern The hotel was just too noisy for us. When we arrived at 4.00pm, the area seemed very quiet, but as of 11.00pm, things changed. The surrounding bars and restaurants started filling up and there were people in the street, talking loudly until 1.00am. At 1.30am all the restaurants started pouring their empty bottles into the recycling bins in front of the hotel. I tried to switch on the air conditioning to block out the noise, but it was not working.
The hotel is about 20 minute walk outside the main area of Pamplona but that was actually the best thing as you had to walk through this historical park which has all the old fortress walls and gates into the city which is just spectacular. There are also some really good deli's and bars on the street its on.The room sitself was so lovely and really clean.Staff were so helpful. I would have given anything for a pool but hey! this hotel had everything else, you can't have everything!
Very good hotel, facilities and staff were wonderful and very service minded.
Easy to find and good carpark a little out from the centre of the old town, but public transport was good
It had all the mod-coms (excellent en-suite, wifi, airco, fridge) and high-quality accommodation for a very reasonable price. Extremely good value for money.
It is a hotel whose facilities are superior to it's class It is close to train station (10 min by taxi) but not that close/ easy to find by foot.
It is comfortable and all was clean
Very friendly and helpful staff, nothing seemed too much trouble and they were so very polite and always had a smile to boot!
staff very friendly and accomodation and restuarant all of a high standard and very good value for money
Restaurant staff refused or could not speak english
friendly staff, excellent value, air conditioned, and underground parking for the motorbike excellent
Staff freindly and clean and comfortabkle soroundings and secure parking
Can't get any room service (food) from 3:00 to 9:00 PM
Excellent hotel & perfect for a stop off when travelling. Easy access without negotiating city centre driving. Not a negative point as such, depending on your reason for choosing this hotel, but this is a retail park location so no good if you want a night time stroll.
staff very very help full
Would recommend the hotel to anyone and will return. Post code for sat nav is not for the zenit hotel it takes you 3 miles away in a field.
Close to the highway - nice & big rooms - good staff - good choice if you are travelling from area of Saragoza to area of San Sebastian eg.
We really enjoyed staying at the Zenith. The room was very modern and well equipped. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent.
The hotel was very spacious and the staff, especially one of the ladies in the restaurant, were extremely helpful.
I stayed for one night with my wife whilst making my annual visit to friends in Pamplona. I took advantage of a reduced price which was very attractive to me following the fall in the value of the pound against the euro which now makes Spanish hotels very expensive for me.
fantastic hotel and only a few minutes by car from the city center!
Liked the modern feer and the quality of the bedroom and shower.
Modern hotel inserted into old flour mill A bit overpriced for what you get.
Hotel is very interesting reconstruction of an old mill or as they call it flour factory. Combination of old and new is fantastic. it is situated along the river, nice bedding... I wish there were more signs to indicate the location Parking area is too small
The design of the hotel and the staff were wonderful. It was out of the way.
We were very disappointed in the situation of the hotel on a main road with little parking. It was exceptionally expensive and I would relate it more to a roadside motorway hotel. Rooms were small. It was however very clean. Breakfast was expensive.
Good buffet breakfast, comfortable, well appointed modern rooms. Design hotel built into a former grain mill well decorated with riverside location. Staff friendly and helpful.
Its cleanliness and superb staff made up for its lack of carparking and distance from the city centre. The hotel does not have sufficient car parking.
There was a flatscreen in the room. Luxureous.
The hotel was clean and pleasantly decorated. Staff were fine There is no way this hotel is 3 minutes from city centre as stated, our sat nav didn't even accept it as being in Pamplona! It is 4 miles from the centre. It's location is poor, seems to be between a housing estate and an industrial site. There was very limited choice for room service even though it was only early evening and the restaurant was quite expensive.
The room was perfect Too far from city centrum
comfort/services/facilities and friendly hotel staff no breakfast included
Modern faclity and an ideal stop over on our journey fron Spain to the UK via France I wish I had been informed that restuarant faclities were reduced to sandwiches and burgers in the lounge on Sundays, especially as the hotel site makes a point re high quality chef. Still found a great restuarnat in a nearby hotel, It was a nice hotel too.!!!
Free Internet In The Lobby, Grocery Store on first level of hotel
With no hesitation, if I ever visit Pamplona again, ah Sam Fermin hotel will be my choice. Maite, you are one of the best and most enthusiastic receptionists I had ever seen, ready to help at all times to the best of her knowledge, other receptionists are really nice and polite, but language was a real barrier for them. Reception area is small, but who needs a reception area when you have a complete small flat to stay in? Bedroom with sitting room and all facilities you may think of, except iron, are available and of best quality money can buy. Terrace adds to the advantage, especially if you are lucky enough to get one of the fifth floor suits with odd numbers, I.E. 501-503 etc. 300 m from bus station, or 8 euros taxi u can reach Pamplona Absolutely no complaint, but few points I have in minds for perfection. a wall mounted mirror might be necessary to be fixed in the entrance of the suite or within the bedroom, as the only available mirror is in the bathroom, which is not convenient to use. Ironing facilities are the only missing services from these amazing suites, with high quality quite automatic washing machine, complete kitchen facilities and wares, large size class fridge, and a microwave, missing ironing facilities may not sound right. any way despite all the aforementioned points, the suites is still one the best hotel experience I ever had in my life in terms of rooms and facilities available in the room.
Just excellent - feeling at home or perhaps even better :) The only thing to mention is not on the hotel itself: if you opt for the public transport, it will cost you some 30 minutes to get to the centre, and you have to walk some 500 metres to a bus (no.4) stop. With a car or taxi, however, must be some 5 minutes indeed. Note this is not a disadvantage of the hotel itself!
Great room no Air Conditioning in our room
Excellent quality - very clean accommodation, would definitely use if ever I go back again.
the apartment was spotlessly clean, well-equipped and spacious. It was an easy bus journey into the centre of Pamplona and the staff were very helpful.
everything its great one
nice size apartment, very comfortable and equipped kitchen
the apartments are great and fully equiped. The staff were very nice and friendly.
location, beautiful converted palace breakfast was just ok
First class accommodation with high level of service from bilingual and friendly staff that made our stay very enjoyable. The Hotel is beautifully furnished. It's very convenient location.
The elegant decoration of the common areas and rooms, the building is an old palace refurnished. Beautiful no
Beautiful new hotel in an old palace, the location was perfect for wandering around Pamplona old town.
The fact that there was never even the hint of a complaint or a problem. Difficulty in finding it but the staff took my car and got rid of it immediately. Thank you Santiago.
absolutely superb and impressive
wonderful standard of service and comfort
Perfect. From the booking to the check-out... One of my best "hotel" experience so far. We requested a baby bed through booking.com. An hour after the confirmation we received an email from the "Palacio Guendulain" telling us that the baby bed will be ready for us! In addition, our room was big, very clean, staff was nice, smiling and helpfull. This should be a 5* hotel. Maybe a better choice for the breakfast.
If you are walking th Camino, this hotel has one fabulous offering. If you give them dirty laundry by 5:30pm , they will have it cleaned (and pressed!) and back to you by 8:30. It is not cheap, at $20 for whatever you can fit into a small plastic bag. would like them to serve breakfast BEFORE 7:00 am. At least have coffee and rolls available - the weather when we hiked was VERY hot, so an early start was critical, and we would have like to have coffee early if possible.
