Pros. It was clean
Cons. We were travelling around in a four wheel drive and booked an en suite room. The worst value for money so far in NZ. We tried to change rooms, but nothing else available other than a two bedroom, which we didn't need and was very expensive. Sanne pointed out that the room was as described on the web as I booked it. Not true, description was misleading. Very poor facilities and room not serviced daily. The bathroom and bedroom windows were fixed and did not ope. The outlook was a 30 ft metal rank with graffiti . They also needed the blinds pulled down as we were overlooked by the laundry room and a corridor. No kitchen facilities therefore washing up and kettle filling only available via bathroom basin, poor and unhygienic, if not illegal! Other guests often ran past the patio doors causing a nuisance throwing ice packs onto the veranda outside the patio doors. We were also above the drinks machine for cokes etc. often used in the small hours, causing our sleep to be disturbed. Much better value elsewhere for less money. Queenstown is a fun place, but glad to leave this accommodation after 3 nights. Very tired site in need of a complete refurb in complete contrast to Te Anua which we stayed at just before this one. Now appreciate that each site is a franchise and therefore lacks consistency from place to place. In short, to be avoided completely.
