Pros: The staff and accommodations were amazing. This hotel thinks of everything down to the hospitality baskets that are in your room at check in. Everything your heart would desire! There is a full kitchen but who has to cook with all the extras they supply throughout your day. What hotel has corona's and a nacho bar at 2 in the afternoon not to mention the hot pies served sharply at 8. Can't wait till we come back!!

9.7 Excellent
Pros: Huge room, nice staff, fully stocked kitchen in room, nice beach, luxurious.
Cons: Smaller of two rooms was beachside. I wish the master had had the ocean view. It would have been nice to have a few spots to sit and gaze at the ocean. A few benches throughout the property and some adirondack chairs to bring a glass of wine at sunset would be great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Did a one night stop over here heading down the coast. Surprised at how big the room/unit was and how nice the pool and grounds were. Will return for longer next time.
Cons: Took a little long to get extra bedding for sofa sleeper but they delivered with a smile.

Pros: Everything was amazing! Hitesh at the front desk was wonderful!! He provided just the right amount of info and assistance and read our minds when we came back for our daily chocolate chip cookie! The restaurant staff was so nice and the breakfast delicious!! The grounds are beautiful! While the freeway is right there, we never heard it.
Cons: The bed was just a little harder than I prefer and the tv was in an odd place that you could only watch from one side of the bed but it didn’t matter much to us since we watched little of it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Starting with the friendly staff we enjoyed every aspect of our stay. We had a comfortable room and the location was perfect (right between town and Cal Poly campus). No complaints.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked the look and layout of the Inn. The hotel and rooms were beautifully decorated. The beds were comfortable and the complimentary items were a nice touch. Most of the staff members were friendly and polite, too!
Cons: Now and then, some of the staff members did not acknowledge the customers.

Pros: Convenient to highway, not far from airport. restaurant on premises although too pricey for what it had to offer, wine by glass very limited selection and not good!
Cons: See above
10.0 Excellent
Pros: First off, cookies daily-enough said! Clean rooms with charming atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Ate at the restaurant for breakfast, food was very good. Boysenberry preserves tasted delicious atop their pecan raisin scone. Suggest giving it a try. Complimentary transportation from airport or train station was very helpful considering the price surge x 5 from Uber. Hotel was in a great location near town. Highly recommend!
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Through Kayak the Appke Farm rooms are in the Trellis Court (vs "main" hotel), so there were less amenities in the rooms... that said, the rooms were head-and-shoulders above any other hotel we've ever stayed at. Love this hotel, the restaurant & shop.

7.7 Good
Pros: Very nice hotel, on a cliff top over beautiful Pismo beach.... The beach is easily accesible via a wooden stair structure shared by a couple more hotels... ( Lighthouse Suites is at the end of the line of hotels, so no neighbours wondering in front of your hotel rooms!) Great and helpful staff, in general a very joyful and relaxed atmosphere! Rooms are large (very much so) and clean, beds are comfy.
Cons: Breakfast is, howeve,r not up to par.... Not bad to be honest, but just a few bread rolls, jam, butter, 3 types of fruit and yoghurt (coffee and orange juice too), are way far away from the promised "Continental breakfast"!! Plastic cuttlery and cups further support this case.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beach location Suite was the right size for family Cleanliness Attentive and friendliness of staff Breakfast
Cons: Vacation ended

Located in San Luis Obispo, Garden Street Inn is within a 15-minute drive of California Polytechnic State University and Avila Hot Springs. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, luggage storage, and a library. Free self parking is available onsite.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Location: right downtown, steps away from restaurants, shopping, coffee shops, bars, and the Farmer's Market. Convenient parking in city garage a block away. Very accommodating staff eager to meet dietary (gluten free) needs and to recommend local restaurants and sites to see. Breakfast cooked to order with fresh fruit was a real treat. Large rooms with private baths. Property is going dog free which will be a treat for guests with allergies. Location was amazingly quiet considering how many bars a just a block or two away.
Cons: Property is showing its age a bit. Carpets on grand staircase leading up to second level need to be replaced; table runner on stand in hallway had hole in it; sinks in the old wash stands are funky and nice but not terribly functional and should be upgraded. AC unit had a hard time keeping room cool during 90+ days. Rooms overlooking Garden Street can be noisy early morning as street sweepers and garbage trucks make their rounds.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Close to center of downtown & Thursday night farmers market. Within walking distance of train station. Friendly, helpful staff, good-sized rooms.
Cons: Personal preference is for less antique ambience, more drawers, bigger closet space and shower only (vs tub/shower combos).

7.7 Good
Cons: Too noisy room
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing worth mentioning.
Cons: Almost non existence service, rude staffs other than the couple at the registration counter. The room has no curtains or shades, except stained glass window. The lights are so bright outside, making it impossible to sleep at night! The heater in the room is extremely loud. The place is so poorly insulated and drafty, that you don't have any choice but to turn it on in winter. This place is a over priced motel coated in pink.

Cons: There was no continental breakfast included.

Cons: No air conditioning. How can you not have air conditioning. Also our phone in the room did not work and they could not fix it. What if there was an emergency. Not okay

8.0 Excellent
Pros: My daughter and had a great stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We loved the beds. Pillow could have been better. The hotel was very quire which made it easy to sleep. Check in and out was very smooth. Very friendly staff. The only down fall was the price. Our room was expensive with a ocean view, but there were many rooms with ocean frontage that were double the price. Beautiful facility, but I'm not sure if we'd stay again because of the price.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Quiet. Jacuzzi and pool were nicely heated. Cute fire pits on the beach.
Cons: Neighbors were smoking on their (non-smoking) balcony, so we had to keep the door shut. There was also something sticky in the carpet.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very quiet - nice for a light sleeper like me.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent facilities. Quiet.
5.4 Okay
Pros: The grounds and the location are absolutely gorgeous. Their Oceanview garden is a wonderful place to read a book enjoy a coffee or take a short walk.
Cons: The entire Oceanview building and much of the grounds are currently under construction and being refurbished. Our unit was totally out of date, smelled like cigarettes, the air mattress they gave us for our son to sleep on deflated in the middle of the night and it was just disappointing compared to the pictures we saw when we booked. The price was too much for what we got.
7.3 Good
Pros: Beautiful view
Cons: Outdated decorating

2.6 Mediocre
Pros: Hot springs water
Cons: No baby crib available No additional movable bed. No breakfast included with expensive room price (over $300) dirty and old room and deck, jaccuzi No matches or lighters. Not very friendly staffs. We were disappointed with this resort. NOTHING GOOD
8.0 Excellent
Pros: I had a relaxing time in Sycamore Springs. My boyfriend & I spent a few days & even had a romantic candlelit dinner at the hotel restaurant. We really enjoyed the convenience of our very own hot tub.
Cons: The decor in the rooms was outdated, and I saw some stains in the bathroom when we arrived.
7.4 Good
Pros: Private hot tub
Cons: Exterior building and hall way need to update make them new.
7.0 Good
Pros: The gardens by the road. That whole area was beautiful. I liked my own hot tub. Comfy beds. The bridge to the bike path was awesome. The employees were very nice. The front area and gift shop were beautiful.
Cons: A bit run down and stained (bathroom, table in room, old chair at hot tub). Put some hooks on the walls and people will be more inclined to reuse their towels and not throw them on the floor. Also, it was loud and creaky because of the old building. We were below in "Harmony" and when the people above us walked, it was very loud. And it was very dark to enter the hallway and get to our room...kinda ghetto. Also, it would've been nice to know ahead of time how steep the hillside was with inadequate parking (I am temporarily handicapped, post surgery.), and how strong the sulfur smell would be with the hot tub. Plus, they are really NOT hot tubs...that stay hot. They are just large tubs. You have to fill them to use them every time. Clarity on all that would've been so much better.
7.6 Good
Pros: We enjoyed the feeling if privacy.
Cons: The 11am check out felt rushed and not up to the relaxed vibe standards.

4.8 Okay
Pros: Could not have asked for a better location, but...
Cons: Threadbare carpet, old poly bedspread. Three remotes for entertainment, with a tv that's size didn't fit display. No screen on patio door so had to suffocate all night. No hot water in the morning.
6.5 Good
Pros: Location to beach, pier, restaurants excellent. Corner room had a great view, it is a busy street and beach access so you do over look a parking lot to another business. It was really nice to have the balcony. Drapes for privacy were very good. Kitchen was wonderful and furnishings were perfect. The electric fireplace was a nice touch and it heated the room. TV was really nice and a great size. Bathroom and counters very clean but no storage or drawers. Car garage area was great.
Cons: Cleanliness was an issue for us. Found food stuck on silverware, rewashed everything before we could use anything, there is no dishwasher to clean dishes properly. Air vents dirty, tops of light bulbs very dirty and small bugs stuck in the dirt, lamp shades, carpets need cleaning. Rug needs replaced or cleaned well. Hair dryer needs cleaned out. It is not a place we would do a return visit in or recommend. Heater did not work. We found the pricing to be high for the age of the building and not other grounds available.
