Quite simple but correct hotel in a quiet area of Rach Gia. Air conditioning worked nice in our room, which also had TV, a little fridge and a fan. Close to the hotel (50 m) there is a small street-food place where you can eat a really good Vietnamese crepe (Banh xeo).
There is no lift nor breakfast but this should not be a problem if you are looking for an affordable hotel as we were.
Location very central to town and very good if you’re on a budget
Drab and old.
Very friendly and helpful young girl on reception was able to help with local knowledge and organising onward bus travel and pick-up. She is the only reason I gave the staff rating a higher score.
Other male members of staff were surly, uncommunicative and seemed intolerant of any distraction that took them away from their mobile phones
Very clean rooms. Great service and very helpful staff 24x7. Best rental bikes in Asia
Nothing but would advice to add more options fir European breakfast ;)
Close to the ferry Ok for one night before catching the ferry
Strange atmosphere, people sleeping behind and in front of the reception desk Need to wait 15mn before getting hot water Old hotel badly maintained
