Pros (+) The room was ok, if not a little dirty and the carpet was wet. Enjoyed the in room fridge and microwave. Enjoyed the high floor request was accommodated. Enjoyed he free parking. The elevators were prompt.
Cons (-) Ok...first, checkin. When there is an obvious line, don't help they people being rude and cutting in first! It tells me that you don't care about your guests. Then there was the flies. Oh the flies. In the evening, we joined friends for a game night, pre-wedding activity and while it was ok, the room had a major fly problem. They were on the tables, on the food, on our drinks. Pros (+) I was lured by the historical aspect of the hotel.
Cons (-) This hotel needs significant care and renovations. It is not clean. The wallpaper in the halls is peeling. The carpet is worn. The curtains are not functional in the room where we stayed. The water temperature and pressure are inconsistent. I could go on.
Cons (-) The bed is not comfortable at all. The closet has water water damage and molded. Some front desk stuff are not helpful at all. Won't stay there again.
