The staff were v. helpful and nice people
there were no problems
A friendly hotel well located and nice and clean.
The smell of the jasmine is ethereal. The room was surprisingly well equipped. Very quiet and peaceful. Superb location. The walk to the hotel at night was like travelling back in time. I stayed at an expensive boutique hotel before staying here, and I was much happier here, and slept really well.
Limited space in the courtyard, but I'm not complaining for the price; just an observation.
The staff were all very friendly and incredibly helpful, and made me feel welcome at all times. Fantastic central location, right in the middle of the Old Town. My room also came with a fridge, which was very convenient. I would recommend this hotel to anyone for an enjoyable stay in Rhodes!
The bathroom/shower area was very small (although that’s to be expected with shared bathroom arrangements).
This hotel is inside the medieval city walls, and as such a short walk to the shopping and dining area along Sokratous street, and a great home base from which to explore the old town, but also and easy walk to the port. The hotel's courtyard was the breakfast area. Breakfast was an additional fee, but had everything (and more!) that one would find with a traditional Greek breakfast. (They also offered and English breakfast option.) The host kindly provided bags for me to take some of the large breakfast with me to eat later in the day. The host was helpful in offering suggestions for a places to get food to take on a day trip to save money. It was wonderful to be staying inside the city walls so that I could see the city before and after the tourist groups arrived.
It was a bit of a challenge to locate the hotel upon arrival in the early evening, though Google directions did work. I suggest getting directions from the host before arrival. The windows of my room were right off the courtyard, and the lights were on all night. If privacy or light is of concern, it would be wise to check with the host first about the location of the room you are booking.
