Wonderful welcome from hostess Despina who arranged a free light lunch for us in their gorgeous courtyard as we had arrived prior to check in time.Fabulous location from which to explore old Rhodes Town.Magnificent breakfast.Couldn't believe the good value of this booking.
Location was perfect ...in a quiet courtyard just off the main tourist areas - close to restaurants and historical sights ..our suit was spacious had everything we needed including our own quiet private terrace. Owners and staff were attentive and helpful but not intrusive..breakfast was superb.. Overall a fantastic place to stay in the Old Town of Rhodes..
can't think of anything ...!!
A beautiful courtyard and excellent breakfast.
we were put in an self catering Annexe outside the walls of the hotel and 75 yards away up a street, the hotel was full and overbooked. Despina sh not have done this, we had Booked a standard double. Despina apologised and offered us a suite inside the walls of the hotel for the following night. We declined having unpacked already. The self catering cottage annexe was poorly furnished and not worth the money we pd. we have travelled Greece for 50 years and know the costs and standard expected. This was a great disappointment. Taking customers money sometimes happens in Greece, but usually we find people honest and kind. The courtyard (and breakfast) were wonderful, a pity we did not see more of it.
So relaxing, quiet and peaceful sitting in the leafy courtyard.
Excellent location for those wanting to explore the old town. Hotel courtyard was a comfortable place to relax, especially for a superb, full breakfast. Staff were helpful and responsive to requests (we asked for a topper on the mattress and softer pillows).
Don’t expect ‘boutique’ in terms of fixtures and fittings. The room photos though are exactly what you can expect. If you are elderly or struggle with narrow stairs, do not book the Avolon ‘Residence’ rooms.
