The place is nice and well managed, there is everything you need for your stay, Rita is super kind and even if my stay was very short she made me feel at home. It was great to have fresh croissants in the morning
Great location, very clean, fantastic staff (Rita was fab) .... completely surpassed any expectations
Good Location, just steps away from the Vatican Museum. About a 45 minute walk to the Colosseum which is doable because I did it. If you want you can take a cab which will cost you 11-15 Euros. The room itself was clean and good. Breakfast was basic but good.
They offered a drop off service to the airport which was 50 Euros.
I was made to feel very welcome right from the first moment of contact, was allowed to check in early (11am)which was massively accommodating. The breakfast was ample, the room was spotless and the design had some thoughtful touches. I was very comfortable. Also it was very very quiet and blissfully cool. Rita was a sweetie. Easy to feel at home here.
The bathroom was very bijoux, i. e. I bumped my elbows a lot and I am a fairly slender lady. I would have liked to have some fruit or savoury options for breakfast but I cannot fault what was there. It was delicious. I was asked to pay in cash which was a bit odd but apparently due to a new card machine glitch. We sorted it out by paying at Rita's other property.
The hostess is very kind to tell me how to catch the airport bus from Vantican, although the stop station is 300m away from the spot she marked on map.
Nevertheless, I don't think it's worth a price (a single room)higher than a double room from Mercur hotel. The bath room is so small that I cann't bow otherwise I will touch the glass wall which is a little loose as I open it ,not firm to be leaned on. So samll that I stand in front of mirror, with the door close otherwise it pushed me. The bed is not even on four feet, shakes easily. The breakfast is a bread with some drink, I didn't expect such a simple one with this price. Tax is 3.5 not 2 Eupro as be showed on booking webpage. I didn't check my mailbox before I arrived, so I have to wait for check in. Thanks a lot to the couple from USA, they lead me in and help me to email the hostess that I have arrived. Really thanks to them, God knows how tired I was then after a lot walking dring the day, and find no way to enter and rest. By the way, this hotel is in a flat. Next time I should book a normal cheaper hotel, and this one is not on my recommended list.
