Because the floors were not carpeted, we could hear the people above us walking around.

Showers were old and drain was slightly clogged when showering. Breakfast was much too expensive for the quality we received, stale and cold.

totally understaff you should have no expectation on service as it is extremely slow for check in check out and also the breakfast is like junk.
The location was perfect. I particularly liked the shuttle to the center of Rome. That was a very pleasant surprise. I want to get to town and anticipated the train but found the bus to be a very welcome surprise.
No good coffee in the lobby early in the am. Many travelers were up when I was leaving (4:30 - 5:30am) The coffee in the room was poor quality and there wasn't any in the lobby like I find at so many other hotels. Its a small comfort that goes al long way.

I was surprised to find that my room did not have a USB input for direct charging of most electronics. Something I have recently begun stumbling upon at other hotels and train/plane and longer bus transit. Wifi on the ground floor only was frustrating and came across as a cheap call considering the incredible rates of the rooms. No outlets by the beds.

Staff not all that friendly during check in. It was late in the evening, but that's not an excuse. Woman who assisted me during check in was friendly with previous man who was apparantly a Hilton Honors customer. I am too, but I guess my level wasn't high enough for her to smile. :) Also, the walk from the terminal is quite long when you consider that a person may be carrying alot of luggage.

The sauna/spa was the worst facility I have ever been at. Filthywould best describe it, black mold and paint peeling in the showers. Stagnant water in the mens locker room. Just deplorable conditions overall. They charge 12Euros. The sauna/spa are not owned by the hotel. I took the duty manager in to see the conditions. He had never been in the gym even tho it is advertised on their website. He was speechless. I refused to pay the bill! Not even a water fountain for the entire gym! This hotel was grossly overpriced!
Vincinity to the Fiumicino airport. Free shuttle to the terminal. Rooms were very large, clean and comfortable. Lounge was attractive and comfortable.
The ability to walk to airport in 8 minuites
The fact that they charge for using the hot tub/steam room. At 205.00 Euros, one expects this to be included in the price.
Convenience to the Rome Airport .
We have experienced the Auto-refill mini bar facilicy in a few European Hotels. We did not appreciated the Hilton wanting to charge a stock removal fee so that we could use the "fridge" for our own use. After much discussion we were not charged the service fee which was appreciated. The rooms were very clean and well appointed. This was our second stay in Rome Airport Hilton. We would do so again

convience to the Rome Airport. If we had stayed at a more reasonably priced hotel, we would have had to pay $40.00 for a 2 minute cab ride.
Our room had 2 flat pillows and 1 extra. We waited 30 minutes for another. The coffee pot had to be pluged in on the floor since that was the only outlet within reach. There was only 1 coffee cup and we had to make another call, (housekeeping, who was bringing the pillow, told us to call roomservice) and we just kept being put on hold. The ice bucket was filthy & no plastic insert.
Easy access to the airport. Fitness centre was good. The room was ok.
Staff at the reception was not friendly. Prices on food was ridiculous, especially in comparison to the very low quality. The meat was rutten and we still needed to pay for it. A childrens pizza for €10, and there was only cheese and tomatoes on it!
