Very Friendly Hotel receptionists, welcoming lobby! Rooms are clean, buffet breakfast is great! Elevator too small and too slow! Steaks in the restaurant is too tough even when medium rare was ordered and came rare!
Lovely pool area with bar and shade. Very modern and close to the airport. Perfect for relaxing on our last evening in Rome having an early morning flight home. Pool closes early. Food in the dining room is average at best and few other options within walking distance.
Location proximity to FCO airport, pool area Francesca at the front desk was one of the nicest ,helpful person you can get Prices of the hotel restaurant
Excellent restaurants, capable staff, quiet, shuttle service (extra), wake-up call, English news channel on TV,. Stayed one night before early morning flight. Rock music in lobby before my five a.m.shuttle.
The staff was very accommodating and helped us find public transportation to visit Ostia & Ostia Antica on our short layover. Hotel quiet and clean. Breakfast good. Easy airport access.
Beautiful hotel and grounds. Nice rooms with memory foam beds, excellent restaurant with free breakfast offered in the morning, and a very nice pool and hot tub area. Close to the airport and the hotel shuttle is very handy. During our stay, one of the elevators was a bit "iffy." I hope they got it fixed because after one ride up I didn't use it again and had to lug my suitcase down several flights of stairs.
Nice pool and restaurant. Enjoyed the music, drinks and gelato out by the pool and the included breakfast. Room was rather small
Clean, comfortable, friendly staff. Very affordable The walls are paper thin. I could hear EVERYTHING from the room next door. My stay here literally did not allow me to go to sleep until the couple next door to me did. The noise from their conversation, television, and everything else going on in there room could be heard crystal clear in my room. Please invest in some ear plugs if u plan on staying here.
good value. great breakfast. cheap and frequent shuttles
The breakfast included was great. There was lots of fresh fruit and plenty of options. The shuttle airport shuttle was convenient, but please note it cost 6 Euro per person each way. The hotel lobby, restaurant, and pool were nice, spacious, and relaxing. Down the street there were plenty of good restaurants within a decent walk. The shuttle cost 6 Euro per person each way. This should be clear on the initial advertisement, not hide. In fine print on a pdf buried in the website. Most US hotel shuttles are free of charge, so all potential customers need to know before they book that there is an extra charge for this. The rooms were fine, but not super clean, and could definitely use a remodel.
The hotel was located not too far from the airport which was convenient but came with a sacrifice of noise. the noise from the planes was just too much, it was like they came through the room. There was brown water from the faucet, the worn shower curtain looked messed up, the shower head was dirty and sprayed all over the place, there was a bunch of dirty caulking with mold along the tub, there were several cracked tiles, the smell in the room just wasn't nice and fresh but old and worn down, the smell in the hallways was nasty. The staff hardly spoke to me when checking in, as if they don't speak English or are uncomfortable with Americans. The restaurant had a long wait and the food was mediocre at best. We stayed here because we were tired from traveling around but will not likely return or recommend, definitely not what we expect in a 4 star place.
the facilites - the pool and the dining room the rooms are a little bare
Proximity to airport, free pkg and beds. Hot water side of sink faucet and shower flowed a yellow (similar to urine color, but was NOT urine- prob some maintain work) water making it unusable. Front desk staff was advised and seemed minimally concerned/nochalant, I tried to show her a photo and she didn't want to see it (looked like a sink full of foaming lemon jello) That just couldn't be healthy or safe. We passed on brushing our teeth with their tap water and their free breakfast. I sure wished I could post the photo of the filled sink here, but use ur imagination. We WONT be back. A sad closure to an otherwise great two weeks in Italy.
Very nice stay, people were friendly and professional. Food was great everything I needed was right there.
convenient location 5 minutes from the airport
efficient check-in , courteous staff, good stay nothing in particular
The bed was not comfortable and the shower never got hot. My flight was so early that the shuttle was not running so I had to take a taxi which cost €20 for the short ride. Would only stay here again if it was cheaper than the other options. The rooms look a little outdated and worn but was clean overall. My tv did not work. Good for just a bed to sleep in before a flight.
Good swimming pool Room distance is too far
Closeness to the Airport Carpets makes it look dirty, and too expensive compared to others with same Quality. Also, staff was not too friendly.
location is unbeatable totally understaff you should have no expectation on service as it is extremely slow for check in check out and also the breakfast is like junk.
close proximity to terminals a tad pricey
The location was perfect. I particularly liked the shuttle to the center of Rome. That was a very pleasant surprise. I want to get to town and anticipated the train but found the bus to be a very welcome surprise. No good coffee in the lobby early in the am. Many travelers were up when I was leaving (4:30 - 5:30am) The coffee in the room was poor quality and there wasn't any in the lobby like I find at so many other hotels. Its a small comfort that goes al long way.
It was very clean and comfortable Long wait to check in, no overall info when you check in, had no hot water to shower and was charged an extra $80 that I'm still trying to find out what that was for! Very disappointed
Extremely comfortable and beautiful. The staff are available and helpful. Good location. I was surprised to find that my room did not have a USB input for direct charging of most electronics. Something I have recently begun stumbling upon at other hotels and train/plane and longer bus transit. Wifi on the ground floor only was frustrating and came across as a cheap call considering the incredible rates of the rooms. No outlets by the beds.
Staff was very friendly and welcoming Showers were old and drain was slightly clogged when showering. Breakfast was much too expensive for the quality we received, stale and cold.
Large room. Because the floors were not carpeted, we could hear the people above us walking around.
Comfortable bed; good location for airport; good soundproofing Charge 20 Euros for 1 day in-room WiFi; no electrical outlets at sides of bed; hot water not hot enough
No wifi in the room, no English TV, cold pool
The shuttle really couldn't be easier. There is literally only one hotel closer to the airport. The staff was nice, the rooms were clean. It's a bit busy give it's proximity to the airport, but not too bad off-season. Breakfast was ok. Nothing fancy, but very much in keeping with the general style and quality of average hotels I've been to in Italy.
Priximity No signs for Airport Shuttle to the hotel!!! Horrible waste of time. Not the first time I've experienced! The food is also not so hot- (Catering to too may American tourists?)
Very clean and spacious. Nice to stay here after staying at some outdated hotels in Italy. Not walkable from the airport, must take the shuttle. That's not really an issue, however, since it arrives every 12 minutes
We booked this hotel for our flight home after a week in Italy. It was perfect!! We booked the breakfast included rate and are glad we did. It was delicious!! The rate was great, the staff was very kind, and the free shuttle was perfect. I judge cleanliness by the grout on bathroom tile floor and this bathroom was spotless! This was our least expensive hotel the entire time we were in Italy. You will not be disappointed!
Hotel was great for the night before a flight - the shuttle service was very good with buses coming every 12 minutes or so, the service was timely and efficient and free. Breakfast was good. Hotel lived up to what is expected with a Hilton. If I had to pick something the wifi was slow on occasion .
Comfortable room Helpful staff Breakfast Free Airport Shuttle Everything was fine.
Very accommodating, we were not there long but we're very well taken care of.
The directions provided by the hotel about where to catch their shuttle at the Rome airport are not clear. They didn't tell us to look for the "airport parking shuttle", so we spent time looking for a "hotel shuttle" bus stop. The staff at the hotel was professional, helpful. The "hotel" shuttle was actually the airport parking lot shuttle that made 7 stops before it got to the hotel the night we arrived and 3 or 4 stops before it got to the airport the next morning. In the morning it actually took about 20 min. to go the few miles to the airport. I suggest that this be included in the hotel information-that it isn't a "hotel" shuttle and that you should expect to take longer to get to the airport. And yet, as we arrived at the airport, a Hilton Garden small shuttle van pulled up next to us!!!!!
Quick clean in and out for Rome's Fiumicino airport If you arrive from the city of Rome by train, which MANY do, there are HILTON signs as you walk a healthy distance with your luggage. The problem is that the signs are for the OTHER Hilton (a nice hotel too). If you follow the Hilton signs you walk in the wrong direction. Theire are two Hiltons- there should be two sets of signs. This caused us real problems.
Bed was comfortable. Once we found the Airport shuttle it was convenient from the Airport Took us 20 minutes to find the shuttle stop. Very poor signage. Shuttle smelled of mold and cigarettes. Toilet bowl leaked at the bottom when flushing. Yes, there was pee all over our bathroom floor, didn't flush again after that. Flushing button pushed all the way through the fixture when pushed. Made me feel like a much stronger person than I am. When I complained to the front desk staff they gave a confusing shrug, somewhere between: "I don't know" and "Oh yeah, they all leak". In their defense, it was like 5AM, I don't think I'd be able to muster empathy at that time either.
amazing clean airport hotel with quick shuttle service staff was incredibly slow and unhelpful
For our purposes proximity to the Rome airport was very convenient for an overnight stay. The scheduled shuttle to the airport was a great advantage. The small town of Fiumicino was walkable with many restaurants though we ate at the hotel and enjoyed a gourmet meal from a complete menu - seafood being prominent as the hotel is right on the coast. The fishing pier was immediately out the front door. The price was moderate yet a good value. Seasonal prices likely would be higher. I cannot think of any negative
The hotel is new, clean and super convenient to Fiumicino Airport. The shuttle bus had me there in less than 12 minutes, delivered directly to my terminal with ease. The room was super clean with a small, but excellent balcony overlooking the small harbor. The stall was very accommodating and were not bothered at all by my limited Italian. I would stay there again for any pre-flight night out of Rome.
Normally, I'd stay in the city if I were visiting Rome, but we needed a one-night stay as part of a flight layover. Based on the brief experience, it's too large to be a boutique, but smaller than a "standard size" hotel, however hotel combines the benefits of both. Located by the waterfront (you can see the fishing boats docked overnight out again in the morning), it has nice staff, excellent service, and good food at the restaurant. I would have no hesitation highly recommending it if you are staying in the vicinity.
Very comfortable, good bed, good breakfast, big room Location is at a small town.
convenient to airport no elevator from first floor
Most convenient for distance from and to the Airport Aircon
Close to FCO airport, great staff
The staff at this hotel were helpful and provided excellent service. The hotel is quite close to the airport, modern and quite new.
the shuttle bus was very convenient and reliable, all the staff in the hotel were friendly and helpful. I had a very early check in and my room was ready when I arrived at the hotel at 7am! there was no extra charge for the early check in which was wonderful. I would definitely use this hotel again and recommend it to friends and family. only the coffee!
The staff was what I liked best - they were very friendly and helpful and the location was fantastic if you're looking for an overnight stay not far from the airport. There was also a great family restaurant next door which was very convenient.
staff very helpful. Seccy is a brand new hotel (opened 2 months ago). Close to the promenade and the airport. no free shuttle service to the airport. still a bit of a paint smell. hard to find (off the main road)
It is close to the airport and very accommodating with flight delays. Clean rooms and friendly staff.
The staff was very nice. The wall between the rooms are thin. Furthermore the ground floor was always loud due to tourists. I could always hear voices from the next room.
This is a great hotel for an overnight stay when you don't want to be too far from the airport. It is not far from Fiumincino airport and a shuttle can be arranged by the hotel. Our room was all we could wish it to be and there are some wonderful family restaurants nearby, including an excellent pizza restaurant next door.
Beautiful room that was very clean, nice personnel. I stayed in Room 104 and never got any sleep. There was no way to get any sleep as There was a load aircompressor going on every few minutes that was load, rattled the walls and window. I had 18 hrs of traveling the next day. I asked for a refund but none
A clean place with friendly staff. Bed was comfortable. The room--for four--was way too small. It would've been small for two. It's also in a sketchy neighborhood.
Staff had control of the English language. Room had plasma tv;air-conditioning and balcony. Bthroom good. Free shuttle service to airport handy. Two blocks from beach.Good breakfast included. Restaurant and bar closed due to Italian summer holidays.
We stayed here because we had an early flight to catch out of the Rome airport. It is a very nice property with recently redone rooms. The taxi ride from the Rome Termini railroad station was 75 euros. We would have taken the train to the airport (14 euros a person) and then a taxi from there to the hotel, but we were a party of 5 and the taxi was cheaper for us.We called the afternoon before we arrived to reserve a space on the shuttle, but when we arrived we were not on the list for the first shuttle as we had requested. There was an animated discussion but eventually they were able to get the two in out party who had a very early flight onto the first shuttle and the rest of us followed about 20 min later.
The staff was very helpful. My room was perfect. I was within 15 min of the airport. Lack of information to local restaurants and or shopping in the area.
Clean and basic - ok for a one night transit through airport
Room was clean. We walked into town to find restaurants. It provided a very relaxing last day in Rome. 4 of us chose this hotel because of the free shuttle from the airport. We phoned hotel from the airport and was told the driver was having lunch and we'd have to wait two hours for pick-up. So we ate lunch at the airport waiting for him. The day before check-out you have to let them know what time you need the shuttle to the airport. We could not avail ourselves of the free shuttle because we had to leave at 6 am and the shuttle does not begin until 7 am. A private taxi was necessary, at the cost of 20 Euros. Other complaint: breakfast was minimal compared to what other hotels in Italy provided.
proximity to Fiumicino city and airport the shower wets too much of the bathroom floor. It needs some kind of barrier to keep the water in the shower doors.
Booked the room as an overnight-er to fly out the next day. The new side of the hotel was very modern and efficient. However beware of room 111, it has no windows, only a sliding door that looks out to a stucco wall, feels and resembles a space capsule. In room mini bar has water at $1.50 euro ea. Mattress was comfortable and had a comforter as the only cover. Good buffet in the morning however it is continental without eggs. Shuttle ran on request but the driver had a bad attitude. Must be related to the desk clerk. The desk clerk was extremely rude and unhelpful. I requested a room with a window and he gave us a room in the old section. Holes in the wall, thermostat broken off the wall. Carpet in the room and in the hall was stained and dirty looking. Air temp was around 80F with no open-able window and all the air conditioners were not working. Returned to the clerk who was watching soccer away from the desk and he begrudgingly gave us our first room back, (would like to write Comfort and complain about his attitude).Beware of the shower stall, if your over 200 pounds you will have trouble fitting into it. Be sure to reserve a time for the shuttle, otherwise it does not run every 20 minutes as advertised.
Lots of space
nothing the attitude of the staff -rude impolite unhelpful-. unreliable shuttle service -waited for a long time until finaly having to take a taxi- . Poor quality breackfast. No signage whitin the hotel. Poor and morbid decoration.
Very nice facility, more surprised that the reception girl can speak Chinese.
As I had only a short stay I found it very convient being close to the airport. I had a walk down to the small port that was close by.
We werw charged for airport shuttle. Upon arrival we were told that they would not chage for it. However when checking out at 8.30 am we were charged for ur consumtions but at 9 am we were asked to get down of the shhttle and pay for both trips
Nice room. Fine restaurant, although closed Sundays. Good restaurants nearby. Get an ice machine!!!!
The staff! Everyone was extremely helpful which was needed after a long travel day and the start of another travel day. A good nights sleep.
convience to the airport The surliness of the desk at the afternoon shift.
restaurant service ! the lady was wonderful, helpful, and always had a big smile, and the food was good.. location was good. don't leave the hotel area . i like that the airport is less than 5 mins away. hotel DIDN'T have any mickey mouse or bugs ! :-) the customer service in the front desk. very cold and rude . the pool was very cold.. bed :-( a little to hard.
clean pool under repair
room was too small . first day no hot water in the shower . noisy . staff talkig loud . i had to go to the receptionist everyday to reactive the keys .
Proximity to the airport. newly re-furbished rooms and the meals at the restaurant were excellent. The cat in the reception area!
Room had just been renovated so was very clean and roomy .It was very quiet and no jet noise!!! We were able to pay 19Euros and upgrade to use in room internet[ keyboard very slow] and all the movies we wanted were in english.
Close to airport. Very clean hotel. Facilities were good. Good for overnight stay. The airport shuttle costs 6 euro each way. In the hotel description it makes it sound like it is free.
We stayed at the hotel prior to our early morning flight.
This is a family operated place . The owners are very , very Nice and explain the area & include there own shuttle service To the airport . It's hard to find good customer service in Rome This family that runs this place knows what they are doing . I will stay Here again if I need a place close to the airport .
Hotel apparently recently renovated; decor and colors were really beautiful. The bed was the most comfortable I had slept in in 3 weeks of various accommodations around Italy. Very nice staff. Nice restaurant (except that it was closed for dinner); adequate breakfast. Bathroom - beautiful colored tiles, lighting, large space, new and very nice faucets, sink etc. No chair or other place to sit in bedroom, except for bed. No elevator (rough when you have several pieces of luggage). Bathroom: here's the problem..it is beautifully decorated - colors, faucets, lighting, great sink....however - even tho the tub is a very eye-catching pink complete with it's own internal lighting, and new/modern faucet, try to take a "shower" - not easy when there is only the pink tub - there is nothing surrounding the tub to catch water that bounces all over the bathroom when using the hand-held shower wand one uses to wash their hair, etc. while sitting in the tub, so when you get out, there is a mini-flood; 2.) also, there isn't anywhere to set your shampoo, conditioner, soap, razor, etc. - no little shelf, or even a level rim around the tub....it angles inward so anything you set on it of course falls into the tub with you - a pretty frustrating experience when one is in a hurry! Just a few functional items could make this truly a great bathroom.
The staff was very friendly and helpfull.
The staff were great and very helpful. I loved the restaurant. The best dinner. Bedrooms were just small but I expected it.
It was very clean and very modern. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful.
Place was very clean and tidy I Booked on line and found tfe website very miss leading as the room I stayed in looked nothing like the room I booked. Which was a shame
Excellent hospitality and a very comfortable and relaxing stay. Directions to shuttle bus access at Fiumacino Airport needs improvement.
Excellent mgmt. Very good service at the restaurant , comfort in room and very good bathroom. N/A
cute rooms comfortable bed good bathroom room had a funny smell, like fish Breakfast was really bad
brand new bathroom restaurant was very expensive and there were not any other places in walking distance that looked acceptable.
We had a very quiet, peacful stay on our last night in Rome before flying home at the Al Porticciolo Hotel, which is exactly what we needed after almost 4 weeks of European travel. We would have preferred a room with a shower, but I had not specifically requested one, so it is not the fault of the hotel
The suite was spacious and had a nice kitchenette. The location was very convenient
The staff was very polite, useful. Also they spoke English very good. The room was good, large and quite cheap. Airport shuttle bus works well even very early in the morning (5am). There are no places of interest in walking distance. The shuttle bus can be more expensive than taxi depending on your departure time. There were few hairs (not mine) on the sheets of one of the beds.
It is very close to the airport and easy to return a rental car when you leave. The area is not a location to stay for an extended period, but the hotel is well run and the staff is very helpful. the hotel did not have an elevator to access the upper level.
Rooms, breakfast, staff, parking, airport location: all excellent
Staff was particularly friendly and helpful.
Staff was extremely helpful. One drawback is they avertise a shuttle. My experience with hotels and shuttle's they are readily available. There shuttle was available from hotel to the airport but had problems with airport to the hotel. breakfast
Very large room, especially by European standards Very helpful staff. Adequate number of towels and good sized. Good breakfast Need a caddy or shelf in the shower stall for soap and shampoo. The queen sized bed in room 2D was very hard. Not a problem for us because we're all short, but room 2D is under the eaves, under a sloping roof, so for someone over 6 feet tall, they might find about half of the room too short. It cost $80 for the 3 of us to take a shuttle bus to and from the airport. A taxi for 3 is about the same. It's less than a 10 min. drive from the airport.
nothing within walking distance, other than a restaurant which was very good.
Everything was very clean. A little hard to find as sign is not very visible, staf was very helpful and welcoming
It is located close to the airport and is a quiet residential neighborhood. There was a lovely restaurant 2 blocks down the street that was easy to walk to and had great food. It was too early in the year for air conditioning to be turned on but we needed it. There was no breakfast available.
The rooms are very big and comfortable. The breakfast was very poor, not for 4 stars hotel, also the breakfast room is very small and the staff was very rude.
the room was fairly clean sure; "breakfast" is a yogurt, we got the room with the slanted ceiling I guess so we could keep hitting our head against the ceiling.
Very clean, and the family were genuinely very nice. Noise - somehow the room door allowed every sound to carry into the room with perfect clarity as if the door was open, even though it wasn't. Our door was about 20 feet from the kitchen/dining area and we heard every sound, every telephone ring.
When considering the price, location close to the airport, the look and feel of a new hotel which it is, we were very hkkappy to have found this hotel. The room was small but that was not a problem for us, for it had all that we needed.
It was a wonderful experience. The hotel & rooms were extremely clean & recently updated. The staff went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed - including serving us a home cooked coffee cake 2 hrs before opening. Highly recommended. Nothing.
Close to the airport, beach and yummy restaurants. A shuttle was aldo provided to and from the hotel to The airport and the free breakfast was excellent. Nope.
The staff were very helpful. The rooms were nice and spacious. A definite plus that we could sleep 3 to a room. We are a family of 6 and we were able to get 2 rooms. The room consisted of a king size bed and a twin, with plenty of room for luggage.
The staff was awesome. So friendly and helpful. They allowed me to leave my luggage there while I went to Rome and when I returned all of my bags were in my room. The breakfast was great. Very clean and modern hotel. Nothing
Proximity to the beach Surrounding neighborhood was a little third world feeling but plenty safe and had good restaurants.
Very elegant interior. The design was fantastic in the entire property. They had good follow up with my reservation (in English). Had a driver waiting for me at the airport. He also picked me up the following morning. Staff was great and very helpful. Close to restaurants. Hot water!! Property is in a neighborhood of walled properties--it felt very closed in to me. This is not the fault of the property, but rather a reality of the locale.
Friendly staff, near airport and convenient for transit travellers
nothing, they called at twelve thirty and woke my wife and I up, we had a bus to the airport at 4:30 after the call we didn't sleep at all, so 250 dollars to stay a wake at a hotel. great value..... every thing , the desk clerks the most. I still have yet to talk to management.
Surprised by the high quality of furniture and fittings in the rooms. Quite luxurious. Dealing with the owner operator of the shuttle bus, which is external to the hotel.
the surprise of the port and the restaurants. I thought the area would be very industrial and dirty because of its proximity to the airport but the port was charming. no
Shuttle bus when booked in advance works ok . Rooms of very hidh standard
Close to Airport and shuttle service Did not get wake-up call
Everything was very good: the location, the reception, the attendance, the rooms.
A very nice place with very nice people attending. No complaints
It was exactly what we were looking for, an affordable overnight stay next to Leonardo da Vinci Airport. At first it seemed odd because some of the units are in separate buildings but we got a suite for the price of a double room. Very modern and clean rooms and an excellent free breakfast included. A laptop computer is available for guest use at the registration desk. Staff spoke good English. It's about a quarter mile walk west along dodgy sidewalks into downtown Fiumincino; continue on west for a scenic walk along the concrete fishing boat wharf, which ends at Mediterranean Sea and fine view. Ristorante De La Ville next door has good food and is family owned but quite expensive. Lots of other choices close by and in town.
Comfortable bed with best comforter ever! Real breakfast including standard continental items (cereal, breads, sliced meat, cheese, etc) but also with scrambled eggs, bacon and plenty of fruit. Very clean bathroom The room was much smaller than pictured Curtain and window are open/closed via pulley-ropes which didn't work very well. There is a sign out front that read 'free shuttle' making me believe I can get a ride to the airport, but it ended up being 15 euros for my partner and I-same price as a taxi so we didn't save any money there.
